Retreive Data from Field Management WSDL

Hi Everyone,
I am not unable to query for Field Management. I want to use the ReadAll method which accepts no input, it only returns the output object containing ListOfField object.
Can anyone please help me out with this ?

I'm trying to setup Cloud Control 12c Private Cloud environment. My machines in OVM pool have local disks so there is a repository per physical machine, plus one shared repository on NFS (OVM lists all those repositories in its UI)
When I try to navigate to VM Manager->Administration->Storage Repository page here is an error dialog I get:
"Failed to retrieve data from OVM Manager. Please check log file for details"
I've tried performing VM Manager->Synchronize, but that didn't help.
Let me note that I can go to other pages like Administration->Network without any problem.
What is a log file to look into? I tried looking under /u01/app/oracle/Middleware/oms/sysman/log but found nothing useful.

What is your crystal reports version ? CRXI or higher?
And does your filter bject consists of apostrophie s fields?
If this is the case then this is a known issue try installing the latest service packs or fix packs to see if it resolves the issue?

How to retreive data from a maintainence view?

Hi all,
I have used select query to retreive data from a maintainence view. But it gave me a syntactical error that XYZ is not in abap dictionary , it's a database / projection view?
So can't we get data from a view using select query?
Please share if u have answers.

Hi,
Maintenance view will be created for database tables only.
Just display the maintainence from SE11 and click Tables tab in the screen
Here you can find the list of tables used to created for Maintainence view.
YOu can use these tables to write SELECT.
If you give us the maintainence table, we will help you.

I have extended your source code and just used vbak/vbap as an example as they have some common fields like vbeln/erdat etc which corresponds with your requirement of 'similar structure' i.e. shared/common fields in both.

Require data from field: STATUS belonging to structure: MEREQ3330

Gurus,
I am MM consultant, so please excuse me if its a simple question,
I need to pull data from field: STATUS belonging to structure: MEREQ3330.
Data element: MMPUR_PR_EXTSOURCE_STATUS_TY
This field belongs to Purchase Requisition.
Can you please explain in simple english, how can I extract data of the
above mentioned field from structure.
I read the forum threads, but most of them are talking for programming or pulling
data of FM. I dont understand, what to do there.

Data Element: MEREQ_PROC_STATUS.
Can anyone, Please tell me whether to find field data belonging to any other structure, I can view the table the same way as mentioned by Vaas e.g. for structure of PO, I can check EKKO_tech or EKPO_TECH.

Retreive data from wa structure into fields.

Hi friends,
            I am having a query regarding classical report.I want to retreive data for vendor billwise realisation report.I am getting few fields into my list screen(fields from bsis table).Remaining fields i want to retreive from table bseg(augdt,augbl....)with the condition that the belnr of both the tables should be same and Account type = 'k'(vendors).
I tried it using select queries for the bsis and bseg..but data is retreived only from one table bsis and not from bseg.so for data from bseg i used workarea(wa).data is retreived for only single doc no. and not for other documents.
   If any problem in understanding this pls give me the mail id i will send in detail.

Hi Anand,
You should not use Workarea, if you are exepecting N number of records. Please use internal table.
SELECT * FROM BSIS
    into table i_bsis
     where ....
if not i_bsis[] is initial.
sort i_bsis by belnr.

How to retreive data from a table and a structure

Hi experts,
I have a requirement to create an ALV report. I have to include fields from two tables 'PA0001' and 'CATSDB' and from one structure 'CATSAPPR'. I am able to retrieve data from tables using INNERJOIN. But i have no idea how to deal with Structure.
I know that structure does not contain any data.
But i am not able to find any transparent table which has field 'ORDERTEXT' . I found field 'ORDERTEXT' only in structure 'CATSAPPR'.
So please anyone tell me, either any transparent table which has field 'ORDERTEXT' or please tell me how to deal with structure, in this case.

I have problems to connect to a view in Lotus notes via Lotus Notes SQL Driver. The following message appear when trying to retreive data via WebI

I also tried via Desktop Intelligence and I got this error:

Hi,
If you are trying to access the tables from a different user other than the user who created the table, then you have to enable the "Require fully qualified table names " check box. This check box will be available when you right click the "Datasource name".
Here is an example:
Lets assume Table1 is created by user1. If u try to access the Table1 using user2, you cannot access directly. Instead you need to access like "user1.table1".

There are 2 internal tables defined as Fieldsymbols (type any) and I need to retrive data from second internal table based on a field value in first internal table.
Let's assue the name internal table 1 is <it_itab1>, 2nd internal table name is <it_itab2> and the work areas are <wa_itab1> and <wa_itab2>.
The existing logic :
LOOP at <it_itab1> ASSIGNING <wa_itab1>.
ASSIGN COMPONENT 'XYZ' OF STRUCTURE <wa_itab1> TO l_field6.
LOOP AT <it_itab2> ASSIGNING <wa_itab2>.
    ASSIGN COMPONENT 'XYZ' OF STRUCTURE <wa_itab2> TO <p_field7>.
    IF <p_field7> = l_field6.
do the required business.
    ELSE.
      *     do the required business.
    ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
ENDLOOP.
The requirement of reading second internal table was achieved by putting loop on the internal table but its giving considerable effect on performance !!
Is there any way to use READ statement in my case OR any way of putting WHERE condition on loop statement of second internal table ??

How to retreive data from structure MDEZ in T.code CO09

As per our requirement 2 new columns are needed in a customize report .i.e
- u201Cinc. lot dateu201D
- u201Cavailable inc. lotu201D
u201Cinc. lot dateu201D:to get the values for inc.lot.date
From second screen of CO09(program: SAPLATP4 and screen number: 400) pick first date where MRP element is u201CPOitemu201D, u201CShpgNtu201D or u201CPrdOrdu201D.

Pick u201CCum. ATP QTyu201D from the same row.
These data are stored in structure MDEZ. Actually I want dat00 and MNG04 based on field DELB0. If DELB0 filed is POitem or Prdord or ShpgNt then only I should retrieve the dat00 and MNG04. IF there are more than one POitem in MRP element then we should pick the first POitems' mrp date and *** ATP qty .Can you please help me out how to get these data from the structure MDEZ.

Hi,
First of all data is never stored in structure so there is no way you can retrive data from structure.
you are looking into the screen field and it is not mandatory that it will always point to a table.
Now the qestion remains how to get the data ? you need to find database table for that field there are many ways like SE84 or SE11 where used etc.
Try to find the table if you still have the problem feel free to get back.

Using DBLINK in ABAP to retreive data from externam system

Please help me, if anyone knows the answer.
The basis team has created a dblink 'DBL_TEST.YY.XXX.COM'.
Now I have to fetch data from another non-sap external system using this dblink only. Cannot have any entry in DBCON.
I know the procedure of retreiving data using DBCON entry. But since DBCON will not be used here, so I have to use the DBLINK to get data from an external oracle table (say, ZTEST).
I need the procedure to implement the logic in abap program.

My problem is now solved. We created views @the database level, and fetched data using the database view in Native SQL.
In case anybody needs to do, I am giving a short code dump;

We got anew requirement where we have to select data from 2 tables and update fields in 2 tables at the sametime.
I have a few queries regarding this.
Can we retrieve data from 2 tables using select query in sender JDBC channel?
If yes, how we can achieve this?
Can we use inner/outer joins in the select query?
Can we update field of 2 tables using the Update query in Sender JDBC channel?

URGENT! Getting the correct data from field BET01 in Infotype 0008

Hello,
I am trying to read the logs (Long-term PCL4) for the field BET01, BET02...in infotype 8. When I get the data from the logs, the value that appears in BET01 seems to be different from the value present in PA0008.
Does this value depend on the wage types valuation? How is this value in the logs calculated? For the same amount present in pa0008-bet01 and for same wage type, i am seeing a different amount coming up from logs. Could anyone please help me with this to understand how the value in logs is being calculated?

If two users run the same select at the same time, they will ALWAYS come up with a duplicate doc code.
The standard way to insure a unique code is to use an Oracle sequence.
Otherwise, you could build your pl/sql into a stored procedure or package that inserts the new document code into the table before it passes it back to the user. This would prevent the second user from getting a duplicate, but would also stop user 2 from even getting a document code until user 1 did a commit.

Extract data from Solution Manager database

I am investigating the possibility of using SQL to extract alert data
from the Oracle database directly.
I have looked in the database to find the tables which would provide
such information, and I have found some promising tables.
But I need to understand how the data is stored in the Solution Manager
system, I see that once the solution manager application is started it
pulls the data from the CCMS alerts on the remote systems. But that
data needs to be stored somewhere. Can you tell me if it is buffered in
an internal table or a structure.
Is it possible to use the SAP tables to produce such a report, or which
BAPI's can I use to extract the data.

If you want to interact with the Alerting data, you should use the XAL External Interface for Alert Management.
