Retrieve software versions from NI licence manager

Hello
We want to retrieve the serial numbers of active licenses of our testsystems automaticaly and store the info in our database.
So it possible to retrieve data from the  NI license manager in C# 2012  (ore maybe in Labview)?.
Is there an API ?
thanks in advance
Tonnie

Hello
We want to store the information in a Mircosoft SQL database.
We had a idea to creat a sequence in each testprogramm that stores the licence info of each tester in the sql database.
In the current situation, when we want to have a overview of all licences,   we have to do this by hand. This costs us a lot of time.
So we thought, maybe we can automated this process.

That is only a feature of iOS 5 or later...

That Error message is indicative of a Hardware issue. The Device may need Service. Take it in for evaluation.

  • Can I update my software version from 4.0.1 to 5.0.1?

    Dear friends,
I have an iphone, gifted to me, with a software version of 4.0.1.  I have just been using it for more than a year now with itunes and other Apps.  Everytime I connect it to the computer, it is telling that a new version 5.0.1 is available but I am afraid to download it fearing any adverse effect on my existing content and apps. (Especially so because I am not aware of its purchase details and other particulars).  Some of the Apps I have do not get installed in my phone since they all need 4.3.0 or more.  Please advise whether I can go ahead with downloading the latest version or whether any risks are associated.
Thanks for the help in advance!

Plug into iTunes, select iPhone under DEVICES and right click and do a backup first before you update to 5.0.1.
It will ask you to restore, so you can choose to restore from backup.

  • Software version from IMEI

    Hello all,
How can I understand the iOS version of an iPhone by checking its IMEI? I think the last part of IMEI is called SVN which shows the software version. I have an iphone 4 with an IMEI ending with 17 and I'm using 6.0.1. So what does 17 mean?
    Thanks for the help

I'm talking about IMEISV, Please read the wiki,
The IMEISV drops the Luhn check digit in favour of an additional two digits for the Software Version Number (SVN), making the format AA-BBBBBB-CCCCCC-EE
For example, the old style IMEI code 35-209900-176148-1 or IMEISV code 35-209900-176148-23 tells us the following:
TAC: 35-2099 - issued by the BABT (code 35) with the allocation number 2099
FAC: 00 - indicating the phone was made during the transition period when FACs were being removed.
SNR: 176148 - uniquely identifying a unit of this model
CD: 1 so it is a GSM Phase 2 or higher
SVN: 23 - The "software version number" identifying the revision of the software installed on the phone. 99 is reserved.

  • Going from Mavericks back to Mountain Lion, how do I download the correct software versions from app store for apps like iPhoto etc.

I have a somewhat older iMac and after installing Mavericks the computer slowed down and the harddrive died. I just got a new harddrive installed and they had trouble getting mavericks to work on it also so they installed Mountain Lion which I am pleased with. I have purchased apps from the app store such as iPhoto and Pages, etc. so I thought I would easily be able to download them for mountain lion. When I look for the apps to download on the app store it lists the versions I had with Mavericks. iPhoto for example says I can download it for free but in the compatibility sections it says it requires OS 10.9 or later. Where can I find and install versions of my software such as iPhoto and iLife that will work again with Mountain Lion?

Try downloading an app. There are those here who believe that the MAS will determine that you have OS X Mt Lion and actually download the app that your kit needs.

  • Retrieve HTTP Protocol version from HttpServletResponse

    Hi,
I need to set different headers in my HttpServletResponse using filter. Values of headers depend on version of HTTP - 1.0 or 1.1, thus I need to check the response's protocol version and add different headers to my response.
For now I can see using external tool that each my request is HTTP 1.0 and each response is HTTP 1.1. How can I retrieve protocol version from response in my Filter?
I cannot use protocol version from request, because as I said request and response have different versions of HTTP somehow.
So how can I retrieve protocol version from HttpServletResponse?
    Thanks in advance.

You need to read the Sun J2EE tutorial on filters. One of the things you will find is that you can not directl access and change the ServletOutputStream of the response object. You need to write a wrapper around the response object that contains you own output stream. Then you can read the data in this stream, parse it looking for the HTTP protocol version and add your additional headers. You then write the new data to the original ServletOutputStream of the response object which gets sent to the browser.
I beleive there is an example of this in the tutorial. There are also examples available on the web and on this forum.

  • HT1947 Remote app requirements are stated as "software version 3.1.3 or later". I am running 4.2.1 and when I try to download it says 4.3 required. Where can I get the (old) version that runs on my IOS?

'Remote' app requirements are stated as "software version 3.1.3 or later". I am running 4.2.1 and when I try to download it says 4.3 required.
OK, I understand that new versions make use of facilities that come with new versions of IOS, but there is/was a version that runs on 3.1.3 and therefore, I assume 4.2.1. Where can I get the (old) version that runs on my IOS?
The app store seems to ignore all legacy equipment owners, and want me to spend loadsa money to get the latest shiny toy. It probably makes business sense, but I dislike companies that take that approach. This is my first venture into smart phones, and I like the IOS interface, but I'm not sure I can afford the maintenance.

This is standard for Apple.  While there is little official mention of the software support lifespan for equipment, typical support has been about 4-5 years for computers.  It strikes me that newer items, especially mobile devices, are not built as sturdily nor do they have the hardware upgrade capabilities required to keep up with newer systems.  When we bought an iPhone 4S we were told by the person in the store we'd probably be looking at a newer model in two years.  The iPhone 3G could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years old, putting it well into.
As for app availability, Apple typically pulls old software versions from its site when new versions appear.  If it is a non-Apple app then I guess it is up to the vendor. It is indeed tiresome but it is not at all unusual.  Since I only ever run used Macs, I download current versions even though my computer won't run them, stick them on a hard drive, then I have them when I upgrade to a newer used computer.  If you run older equipment you have to learn a different mode of operation to exist with the Apple 'new and innovative' but 'forget about the old' philosophy.

  • IPad software version downgrade

Please any ideas how to downgrade my iPad 2 software versions from 5.0 to 4.3 as the 5.0 is not compatible with the application code I just completed on my Xcode 4.3.

Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple. If you are a developer, you are in the wrong forum. If you are a developer and you need help, I think you can start here.

alrite. I have made my mistake. I should not jail break my iphone. So if I purchase my apps again from itunes is that mean mean my data will be back?
I hope you guys can giv me some support here since I am Apple genuine buyer. I could be wrong last time and now I turn over a new leaf and learn a lesson.
Please noted that I can always create new account to ask for the same questions without mention about "jailbreak" if I want to but obviously I won't do that. Please provide me your support! Thank you!

  • WLC: which software-version support SHA2 certificates for Web Authentification and Web Management ?

    Hello,
I tried to install new SHA2 3th-Party certificates on our WLCs. There are old WiSM1-Boards and 2504 to support our old 1230 Access Points, running 7.0.251.2, which didn't install it, although the config manual for 7.6 and 8.0 say that SHA2 certificates are supported since 7.0.250.0. When I tried to install the SHA2-certificates I get the message "File transfer failed" an the log says:
    *TransferTask: Dec 12 13:22:14.394: #UPDATE-3-CERT_INST_FAIL: updcode.c:1869 Failed to install Webauth certificate. rc = 1
*TransferTask: Dec 12 13:22:14.394: #SSHPM-3-KEYED_PEM_DECODE_FAILED: sshpmcert.c:4085 Cannot PEM decode private key
I tried to install the same certificates on our WiSM2-Boards, running 7.4.121.0 and I failed too. The same certificates could be installed on a 2504 running 8.0.100 without any problems.
In all 3 cases I tried to install unchained certificates for web management and Level 3 chained certificates  for web authentication. I used the following guides to get the certificates (e.g. taken from the config manual 8.0.100):
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/4400-series-wireless-lan-controllers/109597-csr-chained-certificates-wlc-00.html
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless-mobility/wlan-security/70584-csr-wlc-00.pdf
Which software versions support SHA2 certificates and which didn't ? Is the a list for it ?
    Regards

    Hello,
I solved the problem. First I used a Debian Linux system with Openssl 1.0.1. After I searched the internet using one of the log messages above I found sites which mentioned to use Openssl 0.9.x. So I tried a productive and security fixes Debian Linux System running Openssl 0.9.8 and I succeeded. The wlcs accepted the certificate files and used it after a reboot. The Web GUI still shows a SHA1 Fingerprint, but the certificate signature Algorithm is SHA2:
    Signature Algorithm: sha256WithRSAEncryption
When you check the openssl.org homepage Openssl 0.9.8 is still one of the actual version of openssl and is still available and fixed. But the Openssl Roadmap says:
"We don't want to have to maintain too many branches. This is likely to include a timescale for the EOL of version 0.9.8"
I don't know the differences between certificates made with openssl 0.9.8 and 1.0.1. Is there anybody who can explain it to me ?
    Regards

  • I have the iPhone 5 and have with 6.0.1 software version.  Although I had them when I moved from iPhone 4 to the 5, the latest update has most of my songs on the phone listed in grey (over 95% of them) and I can't play them.  They are still listed though.

I have the iPhone 5 and have with 6.0.1 software version.  Although I had them when I moved from iPhone 4 to the 5 (could play them), the latest update has most of my songs on the phone listed in grey (over 95% of them) and I can't play them.  They are still listed in the iTunes library.  When I look in the Summary for the iPhone, it shows Audio as only .16 GB - I have over 5 GB of songs, so what gives?
P.S. When I look at my Playlists most of the songs are greyed out.  However, at the bottom of the list there is a cloud icon with a downward facing arrow.  When I click on it each song starts to "load" and after a few minutes I have the songs back on in the list.  I have to do this to all my playlists (I had over 100) in order to get access to all my songs.  Then I did a sync and it happened again!
I use iCloud for documents and some other things (calendar, contact, etc.) but am not aware that I have anything music-wise in the cloud.  Any thougnts?

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.
