Return by Date Problem

I am trying to create a formula that will show 90 days from the PrintDate* - this I have and it works fine.  Now what I need is, if the 90 days is after 3/31/ of the same year I'd like "March 31, YYYY" of the same year to appear. (i.e., if the print date u2013 February 1, 2007 then Iu2019d like the  @ReturnByDate to be March 31, 2007; or if the print date were March 1, 2008 Iu2019d like @ReturnbyDate to be March 31, 2008;)
*(PrintDate 90)             Formula Field Name {@90}
If the PrintDate is between January 1 (01/01) of any given year and April 1 (04/01) of any given year then I want the ReturnbyDate to be March 31 of that year.
(PrintDate>#01/01# and PrintDate < #04/01#) then "March 31" else ({@ReturnByDate})  How do I get the year in there as well?
I know this is confusing, but if you can help in anyway Iu2019d be SO greatful.  Thanks in advance.

Three things you can try:
1.  Depending on the result of the IF-THEN statement, try formatting it as a number just as you did for the Year.
2.  Use totext function to convert the result to text i.e. totext({@year},0,'','')
3.  Try changing the display string (right click, format field, common tab and x-2 next to display string) to display using totext as above.
