Return Inventory  to Vendor due to fault

Hi expert,
I am using the  BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for return of inventory to vendor using the Gm_code = '06' and mvmt type 122.
I am getting the error as "Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 122".
What is the reason for this.
Thanks&Regards,
Karthik.

Hi,
It is often beneficial to check the source of the error. Here the error appears to be generated from program FM07MEB0 - because the movement type is not found against in table T158B for a TCODE. You can place a break-point here, check the TCODE required and using functional consultant help, you can maintain the value in this table and proceed.
It should work then.

  • Return delivery to vendor is picking incorrect customer

    Hi,
We are trying to return the material to vendor due to quality reasons, by creating a return delivery (T-code MBRL, Mvt.-122). We are performing this as under.
We have created this vendor as customer (say XXXXX) also, and assigned in vendor master, under control data view. Our expectation was that, the outbound return delivey should be created with customer master number XXXXX.
But system is creating the outbound return delivery with different customer master (say YYYYY). In fact we have used this customer number in PO item details--> Delivery address, to fill the PO's delivery address as customer's address. So while doing GR (with mvt-101), in material document this customer number has been copied as partner.
Then we tried to create the return delivery with T-code MBRL. But the system has created return delivery with customer YYYYY. But that should be created with XXXXX. As per our process we should use customer number in PO, for delivery address purposses. With out changing that, how can we correct this situation in our future transactions? Do we need to do any settings?
Kindly throw some light on this matter and suggest.
    Thanks & regards,
    Prabhakar.

Hi..... Mr Reddy u need not to do Shipping notification (inbound delivery) i think so.
After creation of STPO, just go for MB1B t.code, there u can directly transport the stock from one plant to another.
i think it will be useful for u.

  • F110 Blocking all Invoices on a Vendor due to one Un-released PO.

    Hi All,
We are implementing Vendor Downpayment functionality. I have done all the configuration and we did not activate the business object LOG_MMFI_P2P. We are just using the conventional Vendor Downpayment functionality. We get POs created from SRM. I am getting an error message when I am trying to run Payment run for a vendor for which I have created multiple PO's. Few PO's have Down Payment requests and few do not have. For one PO I created an invoice twice the amount of PO amount, so it went on unreleased status in SRM. Then when I ran the Payment run F110 for that vendor, the payment run is blocking all the other Invoices as well even though they are for different PO's.
    Here is what I did
    1) Created a PO for $100 from SRM
    2) Created a Down Payment request of 50$ for that PO in F-47 and did not process the down payment. Now I processed MIGO for 100$, then created an invocie for 100$. Now i have created another invoice for $100 and posted that invoice. It went on payment block and i released the Payment block for that invoice in MRBR. Since the invoice amount is greater than PO amount in SRM the PO went on un released status and same in SAP as well.
    3) Parallely I have created few other PO's and Invoices for the same vendor without any down payment requests.
    4) Now when I ran F110 for this vendor, due to the unrelased status of one single PO, all other invoices are getting blocked in F110 run. I am not sure why is this happening, any help would be greatly appreciated.
The errors I am getting are
Purchasing document XXXX not yet released
Purchase order XXXXX (assigned to an account) not permitted
Information re. vendor XXXX/ paying company code XXX...

  • How to close the Return Order from Billing due list

    Dear Gurus,
This is the scenario of Free subsequent delivery with the reference of Return Delivery.
    In brief-->
I created one sales order and done its normal delivery and billing. So this order to cash cycle is completed.
Then due to the damage in transit of some material customer wants to return some good and ask for the subsequent delivery of same goods.
therefore I create a return sales order with the reference of previous sales order and and do the return delivery. Here I am not making the credit note as I have to make the subsequent delivery for the return order.
So I create the sales order for subsequent delivery with the reference of Return order and do the delivery.
Now I have the query that when I run the billing due list (VF04) I get the same return order in billing due list as I have not created the credit memo with its reference. And the return order will remain there always. But I dont want that return order to appear in the billing due list as I have done the subsequent delivery for that return order.
Please tell me how the return order's status can be made completed to avoid it in billing due list.
Please suggest me all the possible solutions to complete the scenario.
    regards,
    Sanjay

    Hi,
The SDF has to be created with refernce to the Sales Order only.
    In Brief:-
When ever the goods are damaged in transit, generally we ask them to scrap the damaged goods and then decide what to do like
    1) Either to give a credit note to the customer for the damaged goods.
                          or
    2)Replace the Goods by SDF.
    Check me if iam wrong

  • Vendor due date analysis and vendor aging wise analysis

Could u please explain vendor due date analysis and vendor aging wise analysis. what is the differnce between and with t code y specify

    Hi Venkatkumar,
Vendor due date analysis refers to the date on which the bill becomes due for payment based on the payment terms and base date. It gives a detailed report of all vendors whose bill have become due for payment on a particular date (Key Date).
Vendor agewise analysis refers to the grouping of amounts due to vendors for various periods, for e.g. 0-30 Days, 31-60 Days, 61-90 Days & so on.
T code for Vendor due date analysis is S_ALR_87012078 - Due Date Analysis for Open Items.
T code for Vendor agewise analysis S_ALR_87012084 - Open Items - Vendor Due Date Forecast
    Thank You.

  • Inventory by vendor

    Hi Gurus,
Is there a transaction that can show us the inventory by vendor. I mean all the materials that we bought from a vendor in a given time frame for a plant?
    Thanks
    Anusha

if your material is batch managed, then you have the vendor number in the batch record, so you can get a list based on this using the BMBC.
If your material is not batch managed, then you have no chance to get this as a  reliable information. then you can just ASSUME that the stock is from vendor xyz based on last PO. If you dont issue the materials using strict FIFO method, then you may have stock that came from several vendors, but is only one cumulated quantity in MMBE. so SAP cannot tell you how much is from which vendor.

  • Report on materials that have been returned to the vendor

  • Return material to vendor from blocked stock

    Hi!
I am going to use blocked stock (s) to lock low quality material.
How could I return it to vendor. Please give me document chain .
We use WMS and document flow must include outbound delivery.
    Andrey Garsin.

    Hi! Thank you for answer
    Please provide more detals.
I need to manage two return scenarios:
    1. stock was loaded into SAP system from  old (non sap system). no purchase order in the system.  stock was created with mvtye p 561.
    2. Stock was recived from vendor using PO + inbound delivery + GR (101) . Now this stock need to be returned to vendor.
If you have a time please give me more detailed step (document flow and key steps inside document ) for both cases or link to help. I have found only this description http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/75/ee1fa755c811d189900000e8322d00/frameset.htm but it is too rough.

  • Return item to vendor

    Hi all,
We have two diffirent return process in our company.
    1) Return items to vendor with 161 movement type. In this case first we create PO and for this po we create GR ( 161 ) then we gave to vendor return receipt.
    2) Vendor has warranty for items. So when we gave back items which is under warranty to vendor there is two options.a) vendor is fixing item then give it back to us and If item costs out of warranty we pay to vendor. b) vendor pays us back for this item, so we return to first process.
Can you suggest solution for second process?
    Kind regards
    Tolga

Already jagdeep  explained  all the  return process .
Use 122  Movement  type  and  return  the  material  to  vendor and  once  vendor  give it back  to  you can proceed with  101 .
If  the  item   out of warranty  we pay to vendor . - For this  you  can  receive  the  material  and  move  to  blocked stock  when  the warranty  completes. Here  Stock  lying with  us  and   you can pay the  amount to  vendor .
vendor pays us back for this item, so we return to first process -   If the  vendor  returns  the  material , then  use 122 from  blocked  stock and  receive  the  stock  which  vendor  is going  to send  back  .
If  you need  separate  stock  wise  use  Batch Management and SLED if it requires.
