Reuse Table created using AET in CRM 7.0 EHP 1

Hello,
I have created table using AET for Lead transaction and displayed it as a assignment block. This works fine.
Now I want to reuse the same table in Opportunity as an assignment block. When open the configuration page and go to show enhancement, after clicking on the 'ADD REUSEABLE TABLE' I am able to select the table in Lead. But after this it should be shown in assignent block but invain.  I also had a look into the Tcode bsp_wd_cmpwb for oppotunity but even there in the configuartion page it is not showing up. How do I show this reusable table as assignment block on opportunity page.
While creating the table in Lead it showed only 'ORDERADM_H' under which the table is created. While in opportunity after adding the table using  'ADD REUSEABLE TABLE'  , if I try to add new table it shows 'ORDERADM_I'  only .... why so?
I did not find any document on this... but yes there are few on 'ADD REUSABLE FIELDS' accordingly it should show up... don't know where I am going wrong.
Regards,
Jaya.

Hi Jaya,
Please refer to Note 1606039 - Table-type enhancement not displayed for opportunity, as there seems to be a program error..
If you have already refered to this note then can you let me know the steps which you have followed to create this table and which version of CRM are you using, kindly also note that you have to activate the business functions applications depending on the objects that you are enhancing, for example:
EXT_BO (Enhanced Object) EXT_BO_PART (Part of Enhanced Object) SWITCHID (Switch ID) Business Function
SDP CUSTOMER_H CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SDP CUSTOMER_I CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SDP ORDERADM_H CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SDP ORDERADM_I CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SSP CUSTOMER_H CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SSP CUSTOMER_I CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SSP ORDERADM_H CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
SSP ORDERADM_I CRM_IPS_4S_1 CRM_IPS_4S_1
let me know if this addresses your query...let me know in case of any issues..

  • Find error table created using DBMS_ERRLOG

    Hello,
I am working on Oracle 10.2.0.5 and have a requirement to log the Error records without allowing the Load process to fail. In order to achieve this, I have decided to use the DBMS_ERRLOG functionality provided.
However, there is a catch. The application has approx. 100+ database tables, which are loaded with data received in flat files, and many of them have length nearning 30 characters.
Now, DBMS_ERRLOG, will automatically create an error table corresponding to database table, but will only consider first 25 characters. And since, many tables have similar names differing only towards the end. Hence, my question is, Is there any data dictionary view which might store the underlying database table name?
I am aware of two options to achieve this:
    1. Maintain a document to reference each Error table to its database table. This being a manual approach, I am trying to avoid it.
    2. Use the USER_TAB_COMMENTS, which will store the table name in comment. Although I have seen this happening, but do not see this as sure-shot approach, since I do not remember reading this anywhere in documentation.
Can anybody suggest a better approach to manage the situation?

padders answer is a good one.  I do not see the problem since you can create the error log tables with names of your choosing in any schema you want.  Don't let oracle name the tables.  Use SQL to create the PL/SQL for all your tables based on a tag you put in the table comments or based on another table with the table names to be logged.
      DBMS_ERRLOG.create_error_log
        dml_table_name      => 'real_schema.my_thirty_character_table_name',
        err_log_table_name  => 'my_thirty_character_table_name',
        err_log_table_owner => 'error_schema',
        skip_unsupported    => TRUE
    Table_Name
    Error_Table_Name
    Error_SchemaHeader
    my_thirty_character_table_name
    my_thirty_character_table_name
    error_schema
    my_short_name
    my_short_name_err_log
    support
With so many tables I would write a generator to create all the error log tables and the DML (insert, update or merge statements) with error logging for all the tables based on the above table and maybe put the DML in an API package that can be called from your app.

  • Tables created using Enterprise Console Manager do not show up in SQLPLUS

I am struggling with Enterprise console manager and command line SQLPLUS.
I have tried scott/tiger , system/manager and the new user that I have created. But I am having the following problems:
    1. I cannot connect as NORMAL through Enterprise Console Manager if I use scott/tiger OR new/paswd. Only way I can connect as NORMAL is using system/manager
    2. The tables that I create using Enterprise Console Manager (while connected as system/manager in NORMAL mode) do not show up in the command line SQLPLUS. I am check this by running the following command:
    SELECT OWNER, OBJECT_NAME FROM ALL_OBJECTS WHERE OBJECT_NAME LIKE '%TEST%';
While running the above command I am conected to SQLPLUS using system/manager WITHOUT SYSDBA
    3. Lastly, I have a JAVA class which establishes as connection to the database using system/manager. But I can access only the tables that I create using the Enterprise Console Manager. If I create a table using command line SQLPLUS (while connected as system/manager), I cannot access it through Java program.
I am struggling with this since last morning and now I have run out ways to debug what is happening. Can anybody suggest any ways to tackle this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mahesh

Prior to 11g, when you created a table or whatever, you automatically allocated one extent.
This is now no longer true and depends on a parameter I don't remember.
    dba_segments is a summary of dba_extents.
Obviously, if there is no extent allocated, the table (view is defined with inner join) will not show up.
You could qualify this is as a bug and submit a SR to Oracle. But then the performance impact may be huge.

  • Query regarding creation of tables using AET

    Hi Experts,
First of all is it advisable to create a assignment block (table view/ form view) using AET?
We are going to implement an upgrade project from  CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0. In CRM 5.0 there was a two custom tables which needs to implemented in CRM 7.0 as an assignment block. One view will be form view and the other table view. The custom tables has data. What is the best way to go about it?
If we create assignment block using AET by using the option 'CREATE TABLE' a new database table is created which has three fields 'RECORD_ID' 'OBJECT_ID' and 'PARENT_ID'. Object ID stores the External ID of the campaign as GUID (RAW 16). Parent ID stores the Campaign GUID value. How is the Record ID generated?
Now the challenge is to move the data from the custom table to the table created using AET. Is there a standard function module to take care of it or we have to write a one time report?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sayan,
I had to do the same story with the aet and the data we need to transfer into the Z table.
I have been looking for a function that takes care of it, but unfortunately i didnt found one.
If you didnt found one until now, i higherly recommand you to right a report that handles the transfer between the two tables in a generic way, and mabye even to share it
The Recoed id is simply a guid that is generetad behind the scenes, in order to keep a PK for each and each row of the Z table.
I hope that the answer helped you !

  • Data not saved in the table (for the field created through AET)

    Hi,
I have created few fields using AET for a transaction type.
The fields are created successfully and we are able to add them in my custom config.
I followed step by step the following link The New AET table Extension Feature of Ehp1- Creating your own components
However the values of these fields are not stored in the ZTable.
I had  defined  Form view ( 1:1 cardinality)  within the wizard itself.
    Help!!!

  • Problem in creating new field using AET

    Hi ,
We are facing a problem while creating a new field using AET.
Im following this blog while creating the new field using AET.
After filling all the field details and trying to create a Transport request its going for a runtime error.
The error is happening in class  CL_CRM_GENIL_AXT_API
    method get_editable_properties.
data lr_field_ext type ref to cl_genil_field_extension.
      field-symbols <axt_field_extension> type gtype_field_extension.
data lr_fieldext_ref type ref to if_axt_field_ext_access.
      read table axt_field_extension_tab assigning <axt_field_extension> with key ext_bo       = is_key-ext_bo
                                                                              ext_bo_part  = is_key-ext_bo_part
                                                                              extension_id = is_key-extension_id.
      lr_field_ext = <axt_field_extension>-axt_extension.
      if sy-subrc = 0.
While Debugging we can see that the table axt_field_extension_tab  is having zero values during the last execution.
But the Zfield is getting generated and the status is in green.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Hi,
you posted the same question again in a later post.
    Here is my answer:
    Hi,
the reason that AET does not work is because there is/are missing entries in one of DB table.
Namely the enhance BO assignment to the UI Object Type.
Could you please tell me, what is the UI Object Type in you current IC application.
In order to figure this out, you can put mouse cursor in one of the field in the UI and then press F2.
Then you can go to SM30 in SAP GUI open the View BSPDLCV_OBJ_TYPE and search for the UI object type.
Select the UI object type and see whether any enhanced BO is defined.
In your case it should be empty, otherwise you can use AET in IC.
And if it is empty we need to figure out which enhanced BO is relevant for the given UI Object Type.
    Regards,
    Steve
P.S. But still you can raise a CSN message.
The "Create New Field" should be in active mode.

  • Can a tabular form be created/used against a GLOBAL TEMP TABLE?

We are trying to simplify our apex applications. In doing so, we are examing the many collections we use to create tablular forms. These collections currently are tricky to manage and we are considering moving them to either VIEWS or GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLES (GTT).
I have created a test app against a GLOBAL TEMP TABLE....it looks great, but when I add a row and SUBMIT I recieve a message indicating record is inserted....but where did it go? I am unable to retrieve...I cannot see it in the underlying GLOBAL TEMP TABLE (as expected)....
should I be creating an ON INSERT table on the GTT to automatically insert the data into a regular table?

Now you know why you have to use collections :) Answered here:
working with global temp table and apex
Has to do with the session management and how APEX handles it.
Create a view on your collection using the column names from the source table. Use packages to write an update, delete and insert process. This can be written automatically if there are multiple collections to handle.

how to process each records in the derived table which i created using  cte table using sql server

Ideally you would be doing a set based processing rather than traversing row by row as thats more efficient. To answer it specific to your scenario we may need more info. Can you explain with some sample data your exact requirement?

  • Problem using BAPI to create Service Confirmation in CRM

    Good afternoon all.
I have raised this is CRM forum too, just thought it best to ask the broader ABAP community the question too.
We are encountering a problem using a BAPI to create a transaction in CRM, specifically:
I am trying to create a Service Confirmation (BUS2000117) in a CRM system using the BAPI BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI.
The BAPI succeeds in creating the header of the transaction, but I cannot make the BAPI create any other data in the transaction such as partners or items.
Just want to be sure that I am not being foolish...has anyone succeeded in using this BAPI to create an error-free Service Confirmation?
    Regards

I am going to pop this thread into General ABAP forum too.

  • I want to create an internal table without using header line and occurs 0?

    hi experts,
Can anybody help me to declare an internal table without using headerline and occurs 0 options but still i have to use the functionalities that occurs 0 and header line options provide.

    Hi Saisri,
You can use the internal table without headerline and create a header for then internal table with the same structure. We need to use the header while manipulating with the data of the internal table.
    example:
    types: begin of ty_afpo,
                 kdauf type kdauf,
                 kdpos type kdpos,
                 ltrmp   type ltrmp,
               end   of ty_afpo.
data : t_afpo type standard table of ty_afpo,  " internal table declaration
             wa_afpo type ty_afpo.                        " work area declaration
<after populating the data into the internal table>
    loop at t_afpo into wa_afpo.
    write:/ wa_afpo-kdauf, wa_afpo-kdpos, wa_afpo-ltrmp.
    endloop.
This I think shall give you a basic understanding of how things work.

  • How to export the created Pivot table by using Power Pivot into separate excel file in the same format?

    Hi PowerPivot experts,
I have created more than 60 pivot tables in multiple sheets by using PowerPivot work book. now i want delivery all the pivot table in excel document to my end user by email.
I want send only the Pivot tables which i created using PowerPivot data model instead of sending the whole model file since its very heavy.
I have tried with export option in Excel 97-2003, its works fine but not getting exact pivot format which i created and its displays as value.
My aim to send pivot table that i created format but not whole file with source data.
I would be really grateful if advise me to fix it out.

    Hi Robert,
I don't think it is a good idea to deliver all PivotTable report to end user via E-mail, and SQL Server PowerPivot for Excel doesn't support to deliver PivotTable report to end user without PowerPivot data inside in the data model. For example, I suppose
we create a PivotTable to display the SalesAmount of US in pervious years(eg:2012, 2013, 2014), how can we dynamic show the value based on end user selection without PowerPivot data model data(The PivotTable report don't have data source)?
So, one workaround that we can create a shared folder to store all of PowerPivot report for all of end user in the domain environment, and then inform end users to copy the PowerPivot reports what they want via E-mail.
If the end users aren't in domain environment, we can implement the VPN soltion to achieve this.

Well, I don't think this approach is bad in any possible circumstances. It depends on the requirements we don't know. Yes, usually applications should not be designed in this way. But 'usually' does not mean 'never'. One possible case is described in Oracle's example Referencing Database Objects that Do Not Exist at Compilation. It's possible to assume that tables inv_01_2003, inv_04_2003, etc from the referenced topic What Is Dynamic SQL? are generated automatically by some job using dynamic create table stmt. If the OP has similar requirements tnen this approach is not bad. It may not be the best one but it at least is not so bad as you said.
I believe that OPs know their requirements much better than me. This is why I always try to answer the exact question. If the approach is really ugly then I don't answer such questions at all.

Hi! You can use transaction code SE11.  Please refer to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/6c/f2934259a5c66ae10000000a155106/frameset.htm
Please note that table name should start with 'Y' or 'Z' - by SAP naming conventions object names starting with 'Y' and 'Z' are reserved for customer application development.
