Rewind and script generates a bug
Hello,
I have on my first screen an animation.
When people come back to the first screen, i want to jump the animation.
I go directely to the frame, at the end of animation.
I put this script and it's working.
time is variable, that i create.
Check if (time is greater than 100)

rdcmndGotoFrameAndResume := 570

Or Else

So from my menu on first page, the button "chapter3" jump to slide 43, who is my chapter 3.
When i click on rewind, i come back on my menu, (frist screen), and i click again on "chapter3".
I don't have the jump to slide 43, and stays on the first screen.
Anyone have an idea please ?

Cannot save script generated web page
I found that safari cannot save a script generated page by (File -> Save as). I've written a simple test page as follow:

It's quite likely/possible that Apple filter javascript embedded in posts - all sorts of nasty things could happen if they didn't, but you're not using Safaro to create your pages, are you?
Just as an example, this seems to do what you describe - copy and paste it into a new text document and see what happens:

Confusion over DBCA script generated for manual RAC DB creation
Version:11.2.0.4/RHEL 6.3
We would like to create our 3-node RAC DB manually. DBCA cannot meet our requirement because our redo log files, datafiles, tempfiles and control files are placed in a complicated manner . If we use DBCA , we will have to spend a lot of time configuring to our requirements after the DB creation.
I generated the DB creation scripts from DBCA (DB Name = BRCFPRD )
DBCA placed the db creation scripts in the specified directory in all the 3 nodes !!
They all have almost the same contents . The only difference being the instance name (BRCFPRD12.sql for Node2, ... etc).
Scripts in each node have the createDB.sql statement which has CREATE DATABASE "BRCFPRD" statement. Why is this ? The database need to be created only from one node. Then why did DBCA place createDB.sql in all nodes ?
I just want to run the script from just one node , say Node1 and it should create the 3-Node RAC DB. How can I do this manually?

Right now there is no way to control the names, the script generator uses the stringified timestamp for each script that it creates (to make the script names unique).

Sapscripts are client dependend and smartforms are client independet.
SAPscript are CLient Dependent, SmartForms are Client Independent. The reason why SmartForms are client independent is because when you activate a SMartForm, SAP actually generates a Function Module (which as you know is client independent). The Print Program (or as SAP likes to refer to them these days - Application Program) calls your generated FM.
In the "smartforms" transaction, when you are viewing a smartform, you can go to the Environment->Function Module Name menu path to see the FM name.

It was said that it was provided in CRM 3.0 version, but not available in R/3. You can download smartforms into Local PC in a XML format. In the same way you can upload this XML format into Smartform. From the smartform editor itself you can call download option, if you are working in CRM 3.0 environment.
In R3 also, you can download into XML format. However, it's not sure about uploading. Refer to the program 'SF_XSF_DEMO'.
In 4.7 Enterprise, other have seen this utlity which is completey missing in 4.6c. There is functionality to downlaod a complete form or only a particular node. (Utilities -> Download form). It will create a XML file and save it in the hard disk.
For others, if you want to download/upload the Smartforms source, you will need the help from the Basis people. What you can do is to create a Transport and then FTP down to your local harddisk. When you need the Smartform source in another system, you have FTP up the Smartforms file back to the SAP server. Finally, the Basis team, will tp it into your system.
g) The protect and endprotect command in sapscript doesn't work with smartforms. For example on a invoice: First data of position no 80. is printed on page one, other data of position no 80 is printed on page 2. And there's nothing you can do about it. Actually, there is something you can do about it. By using a folder node and checking the 'protect' checkbox, everything in that folder will be page protected.
i) The main difference is that SAP script is client-dependant, while smartform is independent. Also there are some advanced and intreractive features available in smartforms.

I'm looking for an XML script generator using an editor. I'd like to present input fields for XML attributes and values, with a title, without any XML decorations. Basically I'd like to provide a template for presentation of user input fields coupled with a template for generating an XML script from user inputs. I'm new to XML. Is there anything like this out there or do I have to build it?

artWell yeh, I've looked at some of them briefly Remembering I'm a novice, what I'm look for is a customizable tool which will display attributes and values on the screen with my custom layout. I'm starting to look at Stylus Studio and they mention using an XSLT Style Sheet, and I will be looking at that now. I'd rather not spend much of the rest of my short life reading documents, they begin to get overwhelming. What I was hoping for was a visual construction tool (as in the swing tools or in Microsoft's Visual Sturdio) or a way of tailoring the displays so that unneeded output is removed.
Any ideas? Most particularly, anything in the open software marketplace?

You can create additional fonts and style with transaction SMARTSTYLES
This can then be define in the paragraph and character formats, which you can then be assign to texts and fields in the Smart Form.
The character formats includes effects such as superscript, subscript, barcode and font attributes.

Hello again :)
I am using WebView to load an external HTML document for layouting and styling my application. Thereby I generated an executable .jar to use this as a sstand alone application. Here it snaps.
When I load the HTML, its loaded without styles and scripts, mentioned in the <head> part of the doc. Scripts, pics and styles are referenced relatively. That works indeed: laoding the doc in Chrome results in a fully functional website, but doing so with the .jar does not.
This is how I load the page:

I need to create a fillable form and then generate a reports.
Hello everybody. I need to create a fillable form and then generate a report using numbers. You know, for example if you have customers, I need to be able to write the usual , name, last name, address, and some other details and then using a standard letter I would like the form to be able to populate these fields automatically in a standard pre formatted letter by our company and then be able to print it.
Any help to point me in the right direction I would appretiate very much.

How can I detect an external trigger and then generate an event or occurance
I have a PXIe-1065 chassis with a PXIe8030 controller, PXI-6653 timing module, PXI-6542 Digital IO, and PXI-6259 DAQ board, running LabView 8.5. I need to detect a trigger (100 ns TTL pulse) from an external device then start a process on a GPIB device. Is there a way for me to detect this trigger and then generate an event, or an occurance ? Can I do this without polling a device? Can any of this hardware generate an interrupt that LabView can detect?
My screenshot was only an example how you can approach the issue. I wasnt saying that you should try it with AI....
Just take a closer look into the DAQmx Events and you will discover something like this:
