RF loop through failing when high eco kicks in

I took delivery of my shiny tiny G4 2100 on Friday - it's immense!
However, it does seem to have a bug in its handling of RF loop through...
Last night I dropped the box into standby and switched to my TV's on-board tuner.
My G4 was configured for high eco mode, with RF loop through turned on.
As per design my box initially went into a low eco sleep, with its left hand LED on the box glowing purple to illustrate.
I continued watching via my TV throughout that initial period ...until those first 7-10 minutes passed and the box dropped into high eco (left hand LED now glowing red). At this point the RF feed was dropped, so my TV no longer received a signal.
I tried power-cycling the box to see whether it was a one-off glitch, but no - same thing second time round.
Having switched off at the mains overnight, I've checked again this morning a couple of times ...I've also gone as far as a box reset - same behaviour is exhibited though.
Every time, once those initial minutes have passed before the unit goes into its deep sleep, the RF signal is dropped.

By jove, so it does - colour me surprised!
Note to self: Just because you'd been using a retail box for the best part of a year, don't blindly expect your ISP box to behave the same way ...even if youview boxes *are* supposed to be inherently universally consistent.
It's not a particular issue for me, I was just thrown by the difference in behaviour.
No doubt BT have their reasons for having changed this ...power use perhaps? A desire to have eco high represent a baseline of absolute minimum power use, unclouded by the additional draw of supporting pass through?
...Thanks for the heads-up, confusion cleared!

  • RF pass through not working in High ECO mode stand...

    I recently changed the ECO mode on my BT G4 DTR-T2100 box from Low to High - I have the RF loop through power option set to On but when my box goes into low power standby (red light on the front) my TV picture starts pixelating.  The moment I press the power button on the BT box the TV displays a normal picture so it looks like the box is not providing power to the RF pass through when in low power standby?  Any one else have the same problem?  Is the box faulty or is there a problem with the software?

    That is how the box is designed to work.
    If you look at user guide P29 of the current version on the web it explains that you need to be at Low eco mode for RF loop thru.
    Thanks - makes some sort of sense I suppose though it would be more obvious if the RF option was disabled if the High Eco option is selected.

  • Text is not being displayed in sync on a label when looping through a list -- how to fix?

    I have a list of states (50 states).  I loop through this list (in a winform app -- VS2012) and want to display the current state ID that is being processed in the loop in the text property of a label.  I precede the label.Text = StateID line with
    Application.DoEvents() but I am also (in Debug mode) writing the same text to the console.  The console displays correctly, but there appears to be a lag in the label.Text property
    List<string> StateList = new List<string> { "al", "ak", "az","ar","ca","co","ct","de","fl","ga",...};
    foreach (string stateID in StateList)
        Application.DoEvents();
        lblStateID.Text = "State is " + stateID;  //--there is a lag here
    I vaguely recollect something about a NotifyPropertyChanged event.  I know this is common in WPF, but is there something similar in winform?  Or is there a way to make the desired text to be displayed in the label.Text property in synchronization
    with the loop?

    Thank you.  This is way simpler than implementing the INotifyPropertyChanged Interface.  Although, here is an article on the INotifyPropertyChanged Interface and event

    Hello All:
         I have a huge internal table with some 79000 records and while looping through them and doing some other processing inside the loop, I am getting an error "Screen output are too small"! Could someone please help mw how to fix this issue? I can send the all the code if anyone wants to look at the code. Thanks in advance and rewards are assured.

  • Problem when loop through a list within CollectionModel

    In my bean, I have these codes to define a node.
    Map<String, Object> node = new HashMap<String, Object>();
    node.put("Nodeid", nodeid);
    List theColors = new ArrayList();
    node.put("Colors", colors);
    node.put("Type", type);
    node.put("Desc", desc);
    Then, a list of these nodes are converted to CollectionModel using ModelUtils.toCollectionModel(nodes);
    In my jspx, I am able to loop through nodes, and get Type, Nodeid and Desc from the node to show on the screen.
    I am trying to loop through the list of colors within the node to draw circles with different diameter.
    <af:forEach var="theColor" items="#{node.Colors}" varStatus="vs">
    <dvt:pointLocation pointX="50%" pointY="50%">

    </dvt:pointLocation>
    </af:forEach>
    But above code does not work.
    Can someone help me? Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    I want to call a javascript function inside a c:forEach loop.Nope sorry, won't work.
    Java/JSP runs on the server. At the server end, any html/script code is just template text to output to an html file.
    The server produces an html file, and sends it to the client.
    Java stops running.
    Java cannot call javascript, javascript can not call java. There is no direct communication.
    Java code can produce javascript code to run on a page.
    The only communication javascript has back with the server is if it makes a request (click a link, submit a button, Ajax call...)

  • Bug in Tabular form Not Exist Validation, fails when creating multiple rows

    Hi,
    I have a Not Exist validation created for a Tabular form:
       select 1 from my_table where col1 = :col1 and col2 = :col2Execution State: For created and Modified Rows
    which is working fine when a row already there in DB
    and I am trying to enter a new row with same data.
    but when there's no data and I enter two rows with same data, validation does not fire, first row should allowed to enter
    but for second row it should give error that data already exists, which is not happening.
    for example,
    let's say I have a row in DB with: 1, 2, 3
    when I try to add a new row with same data ie. 1, 2, 3 validation fires and showing error, which is fine.
    but let's say there's no data in DB and I am entering two rows with:
    1, 2, 3
    1, 2, 3
    validation is not working this time, it is allowing to enter both the rows.
    do I need to create a manual validation for this or what?

    Hello Tauceef,
    >> Now I got it, I was under impression that it will validate one by one row before insertion,
    >> but it's going to check all the rows first, then do the insertion.
    Just to clear things up, the APEX engine works exactly as you describe, but this is your problem.
    The APEX engine do check\validate all the rows first, one row at a time, and only if all the rows pass validation, the DML processes kick in. The DML processes work on the entire Tabular Form record set (per page view, of course).
    In order for your type of validation to work (the one that queries the database), as you want it, the validation and DML actions have to run together, row by row. This is not how things work, because it’s less efficient/optimal, and may lead to a situation where a certain row can fail validation, but other row(s) already been inserted/updated/deleted into/from the database. This could be a very tricky situation.
    Vikram has suggested to rely on a database constraint, and control the APEX error message. This is possible, although I’m not sure that in this case, the Tabular Form will retain all the user changes, in case of validation error. You should check it.
    Another option, which Marc hinted on, is to manipulate the G_Fxx arrays. In your case, you should loop through the new rows, compute their MD5, and make sure that all the rows have different MD5 values. This is on top of the current validation, which makes sure that the new rows do not already exist in the database.

    Arie.

  • Reports fail when run against a different data source

    Hello,
    We have a VB.NET 2008 WinForms application running on Microsoft .NET 3.5. We are using Crystal Reports 2008 runtime, service pack 3 -- using the CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.CrystalReportViewer in the app to view reports. In the GAC on all our client computers, we have versions 12.0.1100.0 and 12.0.2000.0 of CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, CrystalDecisions.Shared, and CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.
    Please refer to another one of our posted forum issues, u201CCritical issue since upgrading from CR9 to CR2008u201D, as these issues seem to be related:
    Critical issue since upgrading from CR9 to CR2008
    We were concerned with report display slow down, and we seemed to have solved this by using the Oracle Server driver (instead of either Microsoft's or Oracle's OLEDB driver).  But now we must find a resolution to another piece of the puzzle, which is:  why does a report break if one data source is embedded in the .rpt file is different than the one you are trying to run the report against, in the .NET Viewer?
    Problem:
    If you have a production database name (e.g. "ProdDB") embedded in your .rpt file that you built your report from and try to run that report against a development database (e.g. "DevDB") (OR VICE VERSA -- it is the switch that is the important concept here), the report fails with a list of messages such as this:
        Failed to retrieve data from the database
        Details:  [Database vendor code: 6550 ]
    This only seems to happen if the source of the report data (i.e. the underlying query) is an Oracle stored procedure or a Crystal Reports SQL Command -- the reports run fine against all data sources if the source is a table or a view).  In trying different things to troubleshoot this, including adding a ReportDocument.VerifyDatabase() call after setting the connection information, the Crystal Reports viewer will spit out other nonsensical errers regarding being unable to find certain fields (e.g. "The field name is not known), or not able to find the table (even though the source data should be coming from an Oracle stored procedure, not a table).
    When the reports are run in the Crystal Reports Designer, they run fine no matter what database is being used; but the problem only happens while being run in the .NET viewer.  It's almost as if something internally isn't getting fully "set" to the new data source, or something -- we're really grasping at straws here.
    For the sake of completeness of information, here is how we're setting the connection information
            '-- Set database connection info for the main report
            For Each oConnectionInfo In oCrystalReport.DataSourceConnections
                oConnectionInfo.SetConnection(gsDBDataSource, "", gsDBUserID, gsDBPassword)
            Next oConnectionInfo
            '-- Set database connection info for each subreport
            For Each oSubreport In oCrystalReport.Subreports
                For Each oConnectionInfo In oSubreport.DataSourceConnections
                    oConnectionInfo.SetConnection(gsDBDataSource, "", gsDBUserID, gsDBPassword)
                Next oConnectionInfo
            Next oSubreport
    ... but in troubleshooting, we've even tried an "overkill" approach and added this code as well:
            '-- Set database connection info for each table in the main report
            For Each oTable In oCrystalReport.Database.Tables
                With oTable.LogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo
                    .ServerName = gsDBDataSource
                    .UserID = gsDBUserID
                    .Password = gsDBPassword
                    For Each oPair In .LogonProperties
                        If UCase(CStr(oPair.Name)) = "DATA SOURCE" Then
                            oPair.Value = gsDBDataSource
                            Exit For
                        End If
                    Next oPair
                End With
                oTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(oTable.LogOnInfo)
            Next oTable
            '-- Set database connection info for each table in each subreport
            For Each oSubreport In oCrystalReport.Subreports
                For Each oTable In oSubreport.Database.Tables
                    With oTable.LogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo
                        .ServerName = gsDBDataSource
                        .UserID = gsDBUserID
                        .Password = gsDBPassword
                        For Each oPair In .LogonProperties
                            If UCase(CStr(oPair.Name)) = "DATA SOURCE" Then
                                oPair.Value = gsDBDataSource
                                Exit For
                            End If
                        Next oPair
                    End With
                    oTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(oTable.LogOnInfo)
                Next oTable
            Next oSubreport
    ... alas, it makes no difference.  If we run the report against a database that is different than the one specified with "Set Datasource Location" in Crystal, it fails with nonsense errors

    Thanks for the reply, Ludek.  We have made some breakthroughs, uncovered some Crystal bugs and workarounds, and we're probably 90% there I hope.
    For your first point, unfortunately the information on the Oracle 6550 error was generic, and not much help in our case.  And for your second point, the errors didn't have anything to do with subreports at that time -- the error would manifest itself even in a simple, one-level report.
    However, your third point (pointing us to KB 1553921) helped move us forward quite a bit more.  For the benefit of all, here is a link to that KB article:
    Link: [KB 1553921|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_bi/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/scn_bosap/notes%7B6163636573733d36393736354636443646363436353344333933393338323636393736354637333631373036453646373436353733354636453735364436323635373233443330333033303331333533353333333933323331%7D.do]
    We downloaded the tool referenced there, and pointed it at a couple of our reports.  The bottom line is that the code it generated uses a completely new area of the Crystal Reports .NET API which we had not used before -- in the CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer namespace.  Using code based on what that RasConnectionInfo tool generated, we were able gain greater visibility into some of the objects in the API and to uncover what I think qualifies as a genuine bug in Crystal Reports.
    The CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ISCRTable class exposes a property called QualifiedName, something that isn't exposed by the more commonly-used CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.Table class.  When changing the data source with our old code referenced above (CrystalDecisions.Shared.ConnectionInfo.SetConnection), I saw that Crystal would actually change the Table.QualifiedName from something like "SCHEMAOWNER.PACKAGENAME.PROCNAME" to just "PROCNAME" (essentially stripping off the schema and package name).  Bad, Crystal...  VERY BAD!  IMHO, Crystal potentially deserves to be swatted on the a** with the proverbial rolled-up newspaper.
    I believe this explains why we were also able to generate errors indicating that field names or tables were not found -- because Crystal had gone and changed the QualifiedName to remove some key info identifying the database object!  So, knowing this and using the code generated by the RasConnectionInfo tool, we were able to work around this bug with code that worked for most of our reports ("most" is the key word here -- more on that in a bit).
    So, first of all, I'll post our new code.  Here is the main area where we loop through all of the tables in the report and subreports:
    '-- Replace each table in the main report with new connection info
    For Each oTable In oCrystalReport.ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.Database.Tables
        oNewTable = oTable.Clone()
        oNewTable.ConnectionInfo = GetNewConnectionInfo(oTable)
        oCrystalReport.ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.SetTableLocation(oTable, oNewTable)
    Next oTable
    '-- Replace each table in any subreports with new connection info
    For iLoop = 0 To oCrystalReport.Subreports.Count - 1
        sSubreportName = oCrystalReport.Subreports(iLoop).Name
        For Each oTable In oCrystalReport.ReportClientDocument.SubreportController.GetSubreportDatabase(sSubreportName).Tables
            oNewTable = oTable.Clone()
            oNewTable.ConnectionInfo = GetNewConnectionInfo(oTable)
            oCrystalReport.ReportClientDocument.SubreportController.SetTableLocation(sSubreportName, oTable, oNewTable)
        Next oTable
    Next iLoop
    '-- Call VerifyDatabase() to ensure that the tables update properly
    oCrystalReport.VerifyDatabase()

    HI,
    I first changed the table name to "strWorkTableName" and tried executing only the script from the Workbench client and got error as bellow

    For some reason i am not ok with running the code in the workbench client (even for checking the syntax) because for the reason that i am not sure if all the parameter required by the funciton will be passed by donig just "Run script."So even with this error in the Work bench client i proceded to the Workflow module in the web interface and run the import and here is what i have now.

  • How to loop through a collection of records which is return value of func.

    Hi all.
    Have this situation:
    - Stored function (member of pkg procedure) that returns a collection of records.
    Package Spec:
    =========
    type tipo_pvt is table of s08_plan_venta_totalizado_r % rowtype;
    rc_pvt tipo_pvt;
    (s08_plan_venta_totalizado_r is a view).
    Package Body:
    =========
    select col1
    ,col2
    ,etc
    bulk collect into rc_pvt
    from s08_lista_precio_producto_r lpp
    ,s03_producto_r prd
    where condition;
    return rc_pvt;
    Once collection is loaded and returned (i know it loads records). I just want to loop through every record on a pl/sql procedure on the client (forms6i procedure), but it gives me the error: ORA-06531 Reference to uninitialized collection:
    On the forms6i client procedure i have something like:
    procedure p_carga_plan_venta_inv (p_id_plan_venta in number) is
    v_contador integer;
    v_mensaje varchar2(10);
    rc_pvt sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.tipo_pvt; (sk08_gestiona_plan_venta is package name)
    begin
         rc_pvt := sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.tipo_pvt();
         rc_pvt := sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.f_genera_plan_venta_inv (:pvv.lip_id_lista_precio
    ,:pvv.ems_id_sucursal
                                            ,:control4.v_metodo_calculo
    ,:pvv.unm_co_unidad_monetaria
    ,:pvp.fe_fin_periodo) ;
    -- previous statement dos not fail BUT THIS:
    message('rc_pvt.count= '||rc_pvt.count);pause;
    DOES FAIL
    end;
    So my question is : since i have already returned the collection, how come is not initialized....?
    Do i have to extend it first? In this case i have to return the number of records in the collection.....
    Look what happen when done from sqlplus:
    declare
    rc_pvt sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.tipo_pvt;
    begin
    rc_pvt := sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.tipo_pvt();
    rc_pvt :=
    sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.f_genera_plan_venta_inv (8713171
    ,null
    ,'m'
    ,'BS.F'
    ,to_date('28/02/2001','dd/mm/yyyy'));
    end;
    SQL> /
    Registros en la coleccion =6
    Procedimiento PL/SQL finalizado con éxito.
    SQL>
    I put a dbms_output.put_line on stored function .....
    Please help ....!
    Apparently it fails when calling the stored function:
    rc_pvt := sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.f_genera_plan_venta_inv (:pvv.lip_id_lista_precio
    ,:pvv.ems_id_sucursal
    ,:control4.v_metodo_calculo
    ,:pvv.unm_co_unidad_monetaria
    ,:pvp.fe_fin_periodo) ;
    I don't undestand since this function return the appropiate type. It seems the collection is empty, although having test that on sqlplus works ...
    rc_pvt := sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.f_genera_plan_venta_inv (:pvv.lip_id_lista_precio
    ,:pvv.ems_id_sucursal
    ,:control4.v_metodo_calculo
    ,:pvv.unm_co_unidad_monetaria
    ,:pvp.fe_fin_periodo) ;
    function f_genera_plan_venta_inv (p_id_lista_precio in number
    ,p_id_sucursal in number
    ,p_tipo_nivel_inv in varchar2
    ,p_co_unidad_monetaria in varchar2
    ,p_fe_fin_periodo in date) return tipo_pvt;
    for some reason it works on plus:
    SQL> declare
    2 rc_pvt sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.tipo_pvt;
    3 begin
    4 rc_pvt := sk08_gestiona_plan_venta.tipo_pvt();

    7 ,null
    8 ,'m'
    9 ,'BS.F'
    10 ,to_date('28/02/2001','dd/mm/yyyy'));
    11 --

    13 for i in 1 .. rc_pvt.count loop
    14 --

    Can't loop through records on forms...? WHY ...?
    Edited by: myluism on 02-abr-2012 14:40

    Forms 6i is an antique ... write your code to run on the server.
    Multiple examples of how to loop through an array loaded with bulk collect can be found here.

  • DTEXEC does not fail when SSIS package fails

    I need to run my SSIS 2012 packages through the catalog with DTEXEC. This works very well, except that if my SSIS package fails, DTEXEC does not fail. I need DTEXEC to fail, so my scheduler knows that there is an error.
    I use the following command:
    dtexec /ISServer "\SSISDB\MyFolder\MyProject\MyPackage.dtsx" /Ser MyServer /Par $Package::Partition;201412 /Env 5
    When I check the status of the run in the Catalog, it is failed.
    When I used SSIS 2008, I had no problem getting DTEXEC to fail when the packages failed.

    I've had the same problem, and come up with the following prototype for a SQL Script which I run in our JAMS Enterprise Scheduler. It uses SSISDB stored procedures to start the SSIS package and polls every 5 seconds to report any messages, and final
    status code of the package. JAMS parameters are delimited by << >> symbols, and will need to be changed for your scheduler/batch process. I guess the script could be converted to a stored procedure. I'm also hoping it will work with SQL High
    Availability groups to ensure the SSIS package runs on the server that's hosting the active database.

  • Dbma_scheduler job executing procedure that loops through all client schemas in the database rolls back transaction incase of exception

    Hi,
    Needed your inputs on approach to implement a job using dbms_scheduler.
    We have around 2000 schemas. Each schema has a package with 2 procedures.
    The requirement is to create a single job in SYS that would loop through each schema and run the procedures at a specific time ( once a day) and send email notification on success or failure.
    Job script:
    BEGIN
        dbms_scheduler.create_job( job_name=> 'LOAD_EACH_SCHEMA_AUDIT_DATA',
                                   job_type=>'PLSQL_BLOCK',
                                   job_action=>'BEGIN  sys.p_loadaudit;
                                    END;',
                                   start_date=>systimestamp,
                                   repeat_interval=>'FREQ=MINUTELY;INTERVAL=1',
                                   number_of_arguments=>0,
                                   enabled=> true,
                                   comments=>'Job repeat interval is every 5 mins' );
                                   END;
    Note: for testing purpose i have set repeat interval to minutely.
    Procedure job will be executing:
    Procedure sys.p_loadaudit:
    CREATE OR REPLACE
    PROCEDURE p_loadaudit
    AS
        v_count          NUMBER:= 0;
        lv_error_message VARCHAR2(4000);
        vstmt            VARCHAR2(4000);
    BEGIN
        FOR i IN
        ( SELECT username FROM dba_users WHERE username LIKE 'ABCFIRM%'
        LOOP
            vstmt:= 'begin ' || i.username || '.pkg_audit_info.p_load_coa; end;';
            EXECUTE immediate vstmt;
            vstmt:= 'begin ' || i.username || '.pkg_audit_info.p_load_am; end;';
            EXECUTE immediate vstmt;
        END LOOP;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
        lv_error_message := 'Error in procedure p_loadaudit: ' || SQLCODE || ' -ERROR- ' || SUBSTR(
        sqlerrm,1,300) || '*' || dbms_utility.format_error_backtrace;
        raise_application_error(-20002,lv_error_message);
    END p_loadaudit;
    Example of one schema: SCHEMA_01
    create or replace
    PACKAGE pkg_audit_info
    AS
    type cursortype
    IS
        ref
        CURSOR;
            PROCEDURE p_load_COA;
            PROCEDURE p_load_AM;
       END pkg_audit_info;
    create or replace
    PACKAGE body pkg_audit_info
    AS
    PROCEDURE p_load_COA
    AS
    BEGIN
    INSERT INTO TABLE1();
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
        lv_error_message := 'Error in procedure pkg_audit_info.p_load_COA: ' || SQLCODE
        || ' -ERROR- ' || SUBSTR(SQLERRM,1,300) || '*' || dbms_utility.format_error_backtrace;
        RAISE_application_error(-20002,lv_error_message);
    END p_load_COA;
    PROCEDURE p_load_AM
    AS
    BEGIN
    INSERT INTO TABLE2();
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
        lv_error_message := 'Error in procedure pkg_audit_info.p_load_AM: ' || SQLCODE ||
        ' -ERROR- ' || SUBSTR(SQLERRM,1,300) || '*' || dbms_utility.format_error_backtrace;
        RAISE_application_error(-20002,lv_error_message);
    END p_load_AM;
    END pkg_audit_info;
    Table1 and table1 exist in schema_01.
    All 2000 schemas have same package.procedures.
    Due to security reasons i have removed the actual code.
    I was able to execute the job successfully. However, when a schema procedure (SCHEMA_01.pkg_audit_info.p_load_COA) throws an exception, the job fails and all transaction is rolled back.
    Is there a way to loop through each schema and execute the related procedures. Even if exception happens, it should rollback only for that schema and continue the other schemas in the loop?
    Please let me know if there is a better way to achieve this. Is the way i am handling exceptions in the job/procedure correct?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR will cause the program to exit back to the caller, even if you place it in a block within the loop, so the RAISE or RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR instruction should be placed in your "pkg_audit_info.p_load_AM" and "pkg_audit_info.p_load_coa" procedures. This way, you can use a block inside the loop and log the error.
    FOR i IN
        ( SELECT username FROM dba_users WHERE username LIKE 'ABCFIRM%'
        LOOP
           BEGIN
            vstmt:= 'begin ' || i.username || '.pkg_audit_info.p_load_coa; end;';
            EXECUTE immediate vstmt;
            vstmt:= 'begin ' || i.username || '.pkg_audit_info.p_load_am; end;';
            EXECUTE immediate vstmt;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
        --> Log the error in a custom log table otherwise you will not know what happened for that schema: don't forget the username
    END;
    END LOOP;

  • Stored procedure fails when run from SSIS DataFlow task

    I'hv a stored procedure (with dynamis SQL), taking colums names as parameters to run and returns dynamic columns in output. E.g. if I pass @ipselect = '*' it will returns all columns in output, when I pass @ipselect =  'column1, column2, column3'
    ,it will returns 3 columns in output.
    Now I have SSIS package. I've Data Flow task in foreach loop container and it is taking parameter from client table. e.g
    clientid       column name
    1                        *
    2                columns1,columns2,column3
    3               columns1,columns2,column3,columns4,columns5,column6
    4                       *
    Foreach container loop through each client id and set ipselect parameter with
    column name  and that value is being passed to @ipselect stored procedure in Dataflow task. When there is @ipselect = '*' it runs fine ,returns all columns and write to destination. But when there is ipselect = 'columns1,columns2,column3',
    it fails with below error:
    [OLE DB Source [1]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR.  An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80040E55.
    An OLE DB record is available.  Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0"  Hresult: 0x80040E55  Description: "Column does not exist.".

    The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing.  There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
    Any suggestion or solution would be really helpful.

    Amr Azim,
    You must have logged in thru a dedicated connection to any server through say VPN before deploying.This way the sdm uses the same login as that of already establised connection.
    So 'sign of'  all connections to any servers before deploying and redeploy your application.Here you will be prompted to supply the sdm password and deployment shall proceed.
