Rfc to rfc without bpm scenario

Hi,
I am trying to do RFC to RFC scenario without BPM.but in sender communication channel following error is coming.
Sender channel 'CC_RFC2RFC_SENDER' for party '', service 'BS_RFC2RFC11' (internal name 'RfcServer[CC_RFC2RFC_SENDER]')
Server data: {jco.server.gwhost=192.168.2.12, jco.server.progid=program_rfc2rf, jco.server.gwserv=sapgw00, jco.server.unicode=0}
Repository data: {jco.client.lang=en, jco.client.snc_mode=0, jco.client.client=000, jco.client.passwd=******, jco.webas.ignore_jdsr_error=1, jco.client.user=bcuser, jco.client.sysnr=00, jco.client.ashost=192.168.2.12}

Can anyone please tell me the cause of this error.??
Thanks

Hi Priyanka,
I did as you had told but it is again showing same problem.

  • SOAP-XI-RFC sync without BPM scenario: How to catch timeout exception in PI

    Hi all
    I made a scenario where a Webservice request was placed via XI to RFC in CRM.
    This is all done without BPM.
    Now the request came up that I have to handle undhandled exceptions from RFC such as Fatal Error, Dump in CRM etc in PI so that customer can get the idea of what happend in the Backend rather PI failing in the monitoring. I did that in CRM by catching all the exception and sending a common error message to PI.
    But another requirement is to handle Message Timeout of the RFC in PI for e.g. If the request goes to the RFC and due to the volume of the data, it gets Timed Out then neither PI nor CRM can handle this and it results in PI failing to catch this excpetion.
    I tried Fault message type but that does not help either.
    Can I get some expert advice.
    Regards
    Naina

    Include your Send_to_RFC step inside a Block...have a deadline branch for this and an Exception Branch....in deadline branch have control step (thro Exception)....in Exception Branch have a Mapping and a Send Step....this mapping will produce a message (define separate DT for this) having constant values (like timeout occured message)
    If you are fine with alert message...then instead of Mapping and Send step in Exception include a Control Step (thro alert)....alert message can be "timeout occured in receiving RFC response"

    Abhishek.

  • How to PI call R/3 RFC without BPM.

    Hi Expert.
    Why PI direct call RFC probably is not a possibility of doing without BPM.
    It makes RFC of separate way, it calling it is made Report program where there is a possibility of doing.
    Different adapter where it becomes direct call, RFC piece bay occupational calling there probably is not a possibility of doing.

    Krishna Moorthy P, Thank you so much your answer.
    I add question.
    My scenario is very simple.
    Case 1. File to RFC to JDBC Scenario. (Sync)
               Using BPM. PI call File adatper, and PI call RFC Function, and RFC return data send to PI to JDBC.
    Case 2. QRFC to JDBC Scenario.(Async)
                Using se37 for back job. So, Back job Function send to PI to JDBC.
    In this two case, to what kind of is the efficiency better.
    <b>I think that case 2 is performance better case1.</b>
    It isn't like that? Krishna Moorthy P
    I wating for your answer.

  • File To RFC without BPM

    Dear Friends,
      My scenario is File to RFC , file is picking from third party and that file parameters are updated in ecc  and response is updated in third party system
    using XI.
    For this one I created data types,message types,message interfaces and message mapping for sender , receiver and response.
    In interface mapping I have small doubt i.e how many  interface mappings needed for this scenario.
    In integration directory how many receiver determination and interface determination needed.
    please suggest me.
    Regards,
    Shalini Shah

    Hi Shalini,
    U need to create 2 interfaces at sender side(1 is for file request & 2nd for file response) and one interface at ur receiver side for RFC.
    Refer File to RFC blogs with out BPM u may find lot of stuff to ur requirement.

  • Soap- XI- RFC- DB BPM scenario help

    Hi,
    I want to implement a scenario like this. a third party system use the soap adapter to call the ECC RFC via XI.and i want to write the RFC response into another DB using the jdbc adapter.after that i want to send back the DB update_insert result to soap client (third party system).so the scenario looks like this
    soap request->XI->RFC
                      |
    soap response <---DB
    i want to use BPM,but have not too much experience.appreciate your help.
    Regards
    xiaofeng

    Hi,
    This will be a Synch Asycnh Scenario and you will need a BPM with a SYNCH ASYNCH bridge.
    Steps :
    1. Receiver Request Message from SOAP -- Open SA Bridge
    2. Send Syunchronous -- To call RFC and get Response
    3. Send Synchronous -- TO send data to JDBC and get response
    4. Send -- TO send data back to SOAP -- Close SA Bridge.
    You will have to do the corresponding message mapping , etc.
    Take a look at the SAP BASIS Component -- Patterns -- Synch Asycnch pattern and this link for more info,

  • File content conversion in File-to-RFC without  BPM

    Hi,
    I am using FCC for file to RFc scenario.
    My input record is in the following format:
    Header record
    data rec1
    data rec2
    Trailer record..
    The parameters are used in File content conversion:
    Recordset Name : Header,item
    Recordset Structure: Header,1,item,*
    key field name : data1
    and in additional parameters:
    Header.fieldNames            HI,GenDate,Ftype,Fname,Fdate
    Header.keyFieldValue       Fname
    Header.fieldFixedLengths 1,8,1,50,8
    Header.endSeparator        nl
    item.endSeparator             nl
    item.fieldNames                  DATA1,DATA2,DATA3,DATA4
    item.keyFieldValue             item
    item.fieldFixedLengths       231,240,241,120
    item.lastFieldsOptional       YES
    Can anyone check whether any parameters are left, b'cos the file is not being read with this settings. and in the C.C its just showing file processing successfully but not able to see the actual file.

    Hi,
    I assume you have header, item and trailer structure in source file.
    Source Data Type will be as follows.
    RecordSet
    --> Header
          --> KeyField(Value OH)
          --> H1
          --> H2
    --> Item
          --> KeyField (Value OL)
          --> I1
          --> I2
    -->Trailer
          --> KeyField (Value OT)
          --> T1
          --> T2
    Where Item Strucutre can come multiple times.
    Please use following settings.
    Recordset name: RecordSet
    RecordSet Structure: Header,1,Item,*,Trailer,1
    Key Field Name: KeyField
    Header.fieldNames: KeyField,H1,H2
    Header.fieldFixedLengths: 2,3,4
    Header.processFieldNames: fromConfiguration
    Header.keyFieldValue: OH
    Header.LastFieldsOptional: YES
    Item.fieldNames: KeyField,I1,I2
    Item.fieldFixedLengths: 2,5,6
    Item.processFieldNames: fromConfiguration
    Item.keyFieldValue: OL
    Item.LastFieldsOptional: YES
    Trailer.fieldNames: KeyField,T1,T2
    Trailer.fieldFixedLengths: 2,8,9
    Trailer.processFieldNames: fromConfiguration
    Trailer.keyFieldValue: OT
    Trailer.LastFieldsOptional: YES

  • File-RFC-File (without BPM)- Issue

    Hi All,
    I am working on a File-RFC-File (without BPM) scenario in PI 7.1.
    My scenario is having few problems like, its not able to delete the file from the source directory path (for which we have delete permissions) and it is an NFS system and it shows an error in the Sender file CC.
    "Error: com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.impl.exception.CPAObjectKeyException: Value of key must not be null: ObjectId"
    But it gets processed successfully and provides a written paramter which I could see in MONI, but again doesn't write the file in the target directory. Could you please provide your inputs and let me know if I need to do any additional settings w.r.to PI7.1.
    These are the parameters which I have specified in the Sender File adapter
    Processing sequence
    AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean     Local Enterprise Bean     1
    CallSapAdapter     Local Enterprise Bean     2
    AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean Local Enterprise Bean     3
    Module configuration:
    1     PassThrough     true
    3     receiverChannel     <FilereceiverCCname>
    3     receiverService     <Receiver Bus System>

  • Async-Sync-Async Bridge Without BPM

    HI Folks,
    I have a requirement as
    u201CAn Asynchronous SOAP request is triggered to PI and then should get records from a (JDBC)database and write the result to a fileu201D
    It is of Aync-Sync-Async Bridge and i have to do without BPM
    I know by using some module parameters at sender communication channel we can do this.
    But my query
    1)Is that for SOAP sender communication channel can we provide the same module parameters
    Number - ModuleName - Type - ModuleKey
    1- AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean - Local Enterprise Bean - 1
    2- CallSapAdapter-Local Enterprise Bean - 2
    3-AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean-3
    Parameters
    ModuleKey - ParameterName - ParameterValue
    1 - passThrough - true
    3-receiverChannel - Receiver File Adapter Name
    3-receiverService - Receiver Business Service/ System
    2) Does the SOAP support the without BPM scenarios
    3)Scenario is like Soap --> JDBC -->File (Async - Sync - Async) and how abt for Soap --> RFC -->File (Async - Sync - Async)
    Thanks in Advance
    Lemon

    For your requirement , you can handle this scenario without BPM in two ways.
    1) Async sync bridge without BPM.   You are going to use request response bean and one way response bean module to achieve this. very simple. See this [link|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/File-RFC-File(Without%20BPM)]
    In the sender SOAP channel you have to configure first request response bean, second callsapadapter and third onewayresponse bean. Refer this link. Simply follow file sender configuration for your soap sender or RFC sender.
    Note: one receiver agreement , one receiver determination, one interface determination. only two receiver channels one jdbc and one file.
    2) You can create SOAP  to File asynchronous.  Using quality of service  EO and creating service interface asynchronous mode.   In the mapping area do JDBC lookup.  If your version is 7.1 then this lookup is available. This is pretty simple no need to do async to sync pattern.
    Hope that helps.

  • Sync-Async without BPM- error(XIServer:TOO_MANY_RECEIVERS_CASE_BE)

    Hi all
    This is without BPM scenario.
    I am doing a SOAP - XI - RFC - XI - SOAP scenario(this is a sync call)......also at the same time i am writing a file onto a directory in async mode.
    What exactly i want is ...when i receive file from SOAP...i want to call RFC using an interface mapping in a sync  mode....also the SOAP request i have received...i want to write it as a backup file onto a directory....using FILE receiver adapter in Async mode.
    So basically wheen i configure it in a receiver determination.... i have two receiver 1. RFC 2. FILE and two interface determination and recevier agreement respectively ....but i am facing a problem where when i run this scenario...it gives me following error:
    <context>XIAdapter</context>

  • SOAP to RFC synchronous scenario with File without BPM

    Hi Folks,
    I have a requirement that has to be done with out BPM!!!
    Requirement:
    Soap will trigger the request to SAP(RFC) and SAP sends the response to a file and then after SOAP has to recieve the ACK from PI.
    1) Can we do this by without using BPM
    2)Can we use without BPM module entries for SOAP Sender
    Please suggest and help me out in this
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards
    vivek

    Hi Vivek,
      Why not have the SOAP interface defined as synchronous?
    You can avoid using BPM that way.
    Best Regards,

  • File is not getting deleted in File-RFC-File without BPM

    Hi,
    I'm working on File-RFC-File scenario without BPM. Everything is working fine except file is not getting deleted after the process. I'm passing xml file here and in return it will give the xml success/error message from RFC.
    For the sender CC, I'm passing the following parameters,
    Transsport protocol: File system
    Message protocol: File
    QoS: BE
    Poll Interval: 30 sec
    Mode: Delete
    File type: Binay
    Please let me know if I missed anything while passing the values.
    Thanks,

    Hi
    Then , is Sender and receiver File Adapter is using same folder )
    Just a question.
    But having all permisions and above config would delete the file
    can u see the status of u r File Adapter in RWB.? Is it in green?

  • File-To-RFC without using BPM

    hey guys
    is a File-To-RFC scenario possible without using BPM? i have gone through the blog by Arpit Seth ( /people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit ) but it uses BPM.
    i am new to XI and not very comfortable with BPM.
    please let me know if BPM is the only way out or are there some other methods too.
    Also under what circumstances one should use BPM?
    thanx in advance.
    aamir suhail

    Hi,
    it's a standard non BPM scenario
    (you can find many weblogs like this)
    the only different thing is the RFC signature import
    (inside repository)
    and the use of different channels (file and RFC)
    you can find many examples in my XI FAQ
    (document section)

  • Java.lang.NullPointer Exception in File-RFC-File wtihout BPM scenario

    Hi All,
    I have implemented scenario File - RFC - File without BPM in PI7.1 according to below link by bhavesh
    [File - RFC - File without a BPM - Possible from SP 19.;
    but I am getting error java.lang.NullPointer Exception  in Audit log of sender communication channel when it enters in ResponseOnewayBean.
    I had implemented the same in PI 7.0 but there it was working fine.
    Is there any limitations on the use of the above beans in PI7.1 as I could see two more threads on the same unanswered yet.
    Please help me in resolving as it is priority task for me
    Thanks,

    Sometime back I saved this SAP Note 1261159 for this error. Not sure if it is still valid. Try to get it implemented.

  • Send multiple records to rfc without using BPM

    Dear Experts,
    Could you please help on the following scenario.
    I need to send multiple customer master data records from a file  to rfc without using BPM.
    The following is the mapping i am using
    source                                                 Target( RFC)
    ======                                          =============
    Tree             occurance   type           Tree occurance

       customer     0..unbound -

    2. Multiple customers possible in datafile from mdm
    Problem 1:Only one customer record from file is being sent to RFC thouth many records are in the file, the second, third .. and so on records not being sent to rfc.
    Problem 2:
      if add o.. unbound for the rfc occurance, <messages>,<message1> tags are getting added in message mapping, and no single customer record sent to rfc..
    Your help is rewarded with good points.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks.

    Thank you for the immediate reply.
    one more thing, when i tried to change the occurences of   ztest_cust( rfc) to 0..unbound,

  • Issue in File to RFC to File Scenario with BPM using Block Step

    Hi Everybody,
                           I am doing File to RFC to File Scenario for multiple records using BPM using Block Step. The File Message is getting posted and after that, the message is getting stuck up in the qRFC Monitor (Inbound Queue).
                        After seeing the message in Inbound Queue, I am trying to execute and release the message. But when i execute the LUW, it says " Function module doesnt exist or EXCEPTION raised" in Inbound queue.
    Could somebody suggest me the outcome of this? What does this mean and how to
    release the stuck up message in Queue.
    Thanks and Regards,
    N.Jayanth Kumar

    Hi Rajesh,
                           After going through the blog, i saw the trace messages. It says
    " The   exception occurred (program: CL_SWF_XI_INBOUND=============CP, include CL_SWF_XI_INBOUND=============CM00F, line: 19)"
    Regards,
