RichQuery Component - not saving criteria while Saving Preference

I am using RichQuery component to advantage of saving preferences and picking them to execute it once saved. Using the out-of-box component with no customization.
Criteria values are not as part of saving preferences.
Ex. Ran the page, then enter criteria like employee name and then hit search button. It displays the result. Now saving preference using save button. I am thinking employee name(what i entered) will be saving as part of perference. Does this save criteria values? Somehow not saving it. Can anyone help me fixing this problem.

Yes, I am using ADF BC viewcriteria for creating query component. Please try the sample from the below link

Run the main.jspx file -> enter some criteria -> search -> then save -> give a name -> select the criteria from the dropdown.

Customizing request screen not popping up while saving

I have created a company and saved. but while saving no customizing request screen popped up.
Does any one know the reason behind it and also let me know if any settings to be done to get the customizing request screen pop up.

Disable Notes app emails while saving all existing notes on iPhone

I want to disable my Notes app from sending all updates to my Gmail account. I realize this can be done through Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Gmail > Notes (slide to OFF). However, previous comments on this site say that all existing notes will be erased from my phone once I do this.
How can I disable the Notes app from being connected to Gmail while saving all existing notes to my phone?
Also... Gmail and Notes have always been linked for me, since I activated my Gmail to my phone the day I got it. So I can't disable this function and hope to save some Notes (such as those that existed prior to Gmail activation).
I really hope the only solution (or 'work-around' is more appropriate) isn't to email notes to myself and then copy/paste every single note back into my phone. How tedious.

I do not have the Accounts button in the upperleft corner of my Notes app. In Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars I have iCloud, Gmail and Hotmail accounts, but only Gmail has Notes enabled.
If I were to enable Notes in iCloud, then copy/paste from Gmail to iCloud, then disable Notes in Gmail... would all notes be available on my phone indefinitely? Or will they backup to my laptop when I connect my phone to my PC and be removed from my phone?
I do not currently use iCloud to backup, I just go through iTunes.

Output device not defined error while saving the quotation

Hi all,
We have some custom output types (ZGEN, ZSSO, ZQTO, ZJT)configured in the nace transaction for Application V1. Whenever i am creating / saving a quotation one of the output type(ZQTO) is not processing for mail (External Send) and it is displaying an error as 'Output device not defined'. If i remove all the output types while changing the quotation in VA22 from header, it is processing.
I checked with all other output types combination. The error is trigerred only when we have ZJT output type along with ZQTO.
We are not able to recognise the error. Please help out to solve this issue. Its very urgent.

Datatype : 25 not supported error while saving Logical Query in BIP Dataset

Hi All,
I have created a nested logical Query in OBIEE Publisher Datamodel using parameters.
Here is the simple query :

Note - :Date is the parameter. When I try saving this dataset as-is, it throws me Datatype : 25 not supported error. But, when i replace the parameter :Date with actual date, then the query works. Also, the inner query works with or without parameters. The issue arises when I use the outer query and the parameters.
Please let me know if you have come across such a problem ?
Any help on this regard would be highly appreciated.

ya i can understand we wont do the sql logic at the data model part as some time performance issue may come when comparaed to sql run in package and sql running in data model . so i have mostly done using package and i will just do select * from table in the data set of data model so i didn't face any issue's like this .

"Limits not Defined " error while saving IT0008 in sap hr

Hi Experts
While trying to Hiring an employee, infotype0008 showing Limits not defined error and not allowing to save the record. I checked table V_T510 and V_T510N. All the limits defined in right way. Please check and advice. I attached copy of screen shot for your reference.

Grey background while saving pdf file as a ZIP in IE browser

I am getting grey background while saving pdf file as a ZIP file in IE browser like below screen shot
The pdf open properly but when I click on save button on below screen it become grey.
The file is getting saved properly.
But the same thing working fine in firefox(I will not become grey while saving)
we are using adobe 11 version.

Error while querying ADF form by saved criteria - MDS activated project

I have a project with MDS activated through database. I'm able to save the customized query criteria and retrieve in the session the criteria is created. But if I log off the session and open another session, I only see the saved criteria name in the pick list. If I select the saved criteria, it throws 'NullPointerException'. I'm using 11.1.2.1.0 version. Here is the complete stack trace:

Does this also happen when the browser is closed and re-opened? If not then what is special on your log-off / log-on method. You should consider filing a service request with customer support if this problem remains

Getting Error as Limits Not Defined while saving IT_0008

Hi Folks..
I am getting a message as "Limits not defined" while saving infotype basic pay our client payroll is international (it is a green colour message only) but i am unable to save the infotype entry. Request you to please advice me where to check to get resolve of this issue.

i assume you use T710 for basic wage, there you should define the lower and upper limit for the payment. if these are not available for the entered payscale and level this message can occur

Error while saving Views in Portal - Technical name not valid.

Hi,
When saving Views in Portal, I'm getting the message The Technical name of object QVIW is not valid. I've searched the forums but couldn't find any solution to this issue. We are on SP 16. Any help would be appreciated.

while saving iviews in portal..
it will prompt for some mandetory columns is it.. one is for description..
and the iview name like iv<name of the template>.. this should be without space..
and in the next page u should give technical name of the template as 'template=<name of the template'
in this you should not give any space..finish and save the ivew..

While saving multiple attachments from mail, files with same name are added and not replaced

While saving Multiple Attachments from Mail, existing file with same name are not overwritted but new files are added in the folder.

Any suggestions. I'm using a mac and tried to rename files based on date taken. The mac can do that but it takes ages to go into each folder and run the renaming script there.
I also use a similar folder creation scheme (such a date naming is the default for the downloader). That way I never get a message about duplicates for the same file names.
However - I can't be the first or only person with this problem so I figure that some workaround must be known out there. Maybe the import action can recognize date taken or - well. Thank you very much in advance if you can help me out here.
You can alsways set the downloader to rename the imported files with a unique new name, there are many options in the 'advanced' dialog of the downloader. I don't know about Macs, but I don't thing there is a difference.
