Ringtone problems. help!

hi i just upgraded to the iphone 5s and when i restored the new phone non of the rigntones which i purchased from itunes are no where to be found. is there anyway i could get those ringtones back since i purchased them? can someone help me please!!

If you do not have them in iTunes, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

ITunes 7.7.1 Ringtone Problems - HELP!!!!!

I have an iPhone 3G and have spent the past week searching the internet to try and find a solution to a problem I have with creating ringtones for it.
None of the songs in my Music library in iTunes have the bell icon in the appropriate column, and none of the songs in the Store appear to be available as ringtones either. All the appropriate View Options are ticked in my iTunes Preferences, and I've even tried to change the length of a song and rename the file as .m4r and nothing has worked.
ctrl and clicking a song shows no ringtone options either.
I've tried deleting the plist for iTunes and starting over, but to no avail.
I can't be the only person out there with this problem..... someone please help!
PS - I never thought ringtones were this important to me, but I can't let a half eaten apple beat me!

This problem has been bothering me for months now, and no one seems to have an answer. I asked at the genius bar in the apple store today, and they had no clue and said to call itunes support. I am going to call them tonight and will post if I find an answer.

5140i - ringtone problems - HELP

I have a CD with a load of ringtones on it, and I have loaded some of these onto my 5140i, using a DKU-5 data cable and PC suite. Some of the tones have transferred and work fine, but some of them say 'file corrupted' when I try to play them on my phone. There is plenty of free space on the phone (1.4MB) and i can play them from my phone on my PC using PC suite, so I don't see how they can be corrupted. Did the cd come with the fone or was it purchased from a 3rd party.
Not all fones can read all formats and it sounds like the ringtones have been burned onto the cd in these different formats or just that some ringtones have not downloaded proparly. If this is the case then you would just have to delete these corrupted files and obtain from elsewhere

Irritating ringtone problem

Hi there
Any help would really be appreciated. Ever since updating to blackberry 6 OS on my 9300, I have a ringtone problem that, regardless of what I change in my profile settings, won't go away. My ringtone goes something like this: "Call from 082 ******* 90 (Whatever the number was), upgrade today to remove this message". Even with my phone on silent or vibrate it still rings. I've checked my profile settings for both silent and vibrate.. the volume is off and the ringtones are songs from my phone. I have no idea where its all coming from. Please help

Hmm. Updating my installation to 6.0.2 doesn't solve the crash. Bug report

SMS ringtone problem after ios5

Hello everyone
I've been facing a SMS ringtone problem since ios5. When i recieve a SMS or imessage, it rings sequential twice or even more. (Just like when you recieve two sms at the same time)
If I restart my iphone, this problem disappears for sometime. It comes a while after, though.
Is it a bug or something? It's really annoying.

Solved.
I've restored my iphone and set it up as a new iphone. I haven't been facing this problem since restore. Do not forget to restore it "as a new iphone". Do not backup from old.
Some tips for "restoring as a new iphone"
-iCloud would be helpful while getting your apps.
-Saving your camera roll photos to the pc then mailing them and saving them back in iphone can make your photo album as the same before.
-There are some free apps that can help you to back your contacts up.
-Change your iPhone name after restore. Otherwise iTunes may automatically backup from old.

Thank you both for your responses but my daughter was reassured by the salesman in the iStyle store (official Apple store in the UAE) that iMessages would work but conceded that FaceTime wouldn't. My iTunes account is registered in the uk and my daughter's iPhone has iMessages even though she bought it (and uses it) in Dubai. Can anyone else throw any light on this?

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

IPad syncing problem - HELP!

iPad sync problem - HELP! I keep getting this message "...cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional ...space needed)" and yet I seem to have plenty of space on the iPad. This just started today. I even tried deleting some things to make even more room, but it didn't help. Any ideas???
I was thinking of restoring, but I've never done it... should I?

Not that I am an expert o/c but here are some thoughts on the matter.
My comments are based on my experiences of the KT3 Ultra2 which is basically the same as the Ultra version.
This mobo does not have the ability to lock the PCI/AGP bus freely from the FSB. However, it does have dividers. At 133 a 1/4 divider kicks in. Above 152FSB the 1/5 divider works, so that at 166 the PCI & AGP buses will be back in sync. If you are o/c your cpu, don't go from 133 to 145, etc since you will be running the PCI/AGP buses further out of whack. Just go to either the mid 150's or to 166 in one jump. The other problem / issue relates to your cpu. From what you say you have one of the old Palominos which are not great o/c's. I would personally o/c your cpu from the BIOS rather than 'Fluffy Logic' which I would tend to stay away from.
With a 166FSB cpu a very stable o/c would be 175-177 beyond 180 gets decidedly tricky.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

I had the same issue and I'm running Windows 7. Tried working with technical support for several hours but they were no help. They just had me doing the same things over and over, offering no real answers. I finally got fed up and have decided to return my product for a full refund.

Warranty is valid only in country of original purchase. You have to return
the iPhone to the US for evaluation. Either you return it personally or send
it to a friend/relative/co-worker in the US to take into Apple. Apple will not
accept international shipments for evaluation nor will Apple ship out of the
country after repair/replacement.
Have you tried the standard trouble shooting steps: restart, restore, restore
as new iPhone?
