RMI application policy problem..

Hi;
Because i am very new in eclipse and java i will ask you an easy question which is realy hard to find out for me.
I created an RMI project in eclipse and i put the codes inside. When i am trying to run it is says
Security Manager loaded
Exception in thread "main" java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission 127.0.0.1:1099 connect,resolve)
I searched a solution and they are saying create a policy file with same code inside and run with it .
But i got no clue about how i will write
java -Djava.security.policy=policy.all SampleServerImpl
java -Djava.security.policy=policy.all SampleClient
in eclipse to run code . And i put the policy inside of project folder but id didn't recognize it automaticly.

create a file name policy.all having the code

Simple RMI application

Hi all
I've wrote a simple RMI application; I've made a stub and a skeleton and I've started a rmiregistry; when I'm execute a server, I have this exception:
java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling arguments; ecc.
Where is the problem?

Ok, but I'm a student and my teacher wants ....I'm 49 years old and have blond, long hair (other call it grey, but they are
loonies) and I drive a Ford that doens't want to start when it's freezing
but that's still no excuse for the RMI mechanism not to work properly ;-)
Anyway, the problem was an sub-directory; now I catch a
ConnectException: connection refused (to 127.0.0.1);
any ideas?Yep, you have to start the server part first and then start your client. I also
suspect that you don't have the 'rmiregistry' running ... (we can talk about
that later).

SCCM w/MDT UDI with Application/Package problems..

I have an UDI deployment that I am trying to get off the ground. I have the MDT Install Applications page set up with a mixture of both Packages (that have been migrated from SCCM 2007) and Applications. The weird problem that I'm having is this; if
I set the applications page order to have SCCM Applications above the Package installations then only the Applications install and none of the Packages. If I order the list with the Packages first then all of the packages install but only some of the
Applications install. I can work around that behavior, that's fine.
I also have some items that when they are created as packages they work, but as applications they won't work from a task sequence. However, the applications will install from within a client OS. The command lines are exactly the same. All of
the content is set to allow deployment from a task sequence as well.
What is it that I'm missing? I would really like to leverage the 2012 application catalog, I would also like to keep from having to do things twice (once as a package, once as an application)
My environment is SCCM 2012 SP1, with MDT 2012 U1 integration.

I'd like to say that I have, but I really haven't. I've resorted to using ProcessMonitor to try and find what exactly it is that the deployment is trying to do. I've learned a lot about the environment, but not a whole lot on how to repair this.

That thread seems to tie it together to Flash Player somehow. For me, I'm trying to get Adobe Reader XI to install. However, I've seen the same problem occur with Project, Visio, Autocad... The only thing that seems to consistently install
is Office 2010, but I can't see anything that is especially different with that product vs. anything else.
I've tried all sorts of things to fix this problem. Fresh UDIWizard_config.xml and UDIWizard_Config.app doesn't fix it. Creating new applications doesn't fix it. Adding comments to the deployments and applications doesn't fix it. I've
checked, and rechecked boundaries and no go there either. The content is available, as it works from within a fully deployed OS. Just about every fix for task sequence application deployment I've tried. The applications does have "allow
this application to be installed from the Install Application task sequence action without being deployed" enabled.

How to bind "application policy" to Security Module

hi,
1. Oracle 11.2g, WLS 10.3.5. OES 11.1.1.1.5 clean install of all components.
2. Created OES Policy after reading the documentation

3. PROBLEM/QUESTION [8.2.2 Binding an Application to a Security Module]
After creating a Security Module in System Configuration tab from the Home area, cannot bind application-policy to this SM ???!!!
Here are steps:
8.2.2 Binding an Application to a Security Module
To bind an Application to a Security Module, proceed as follows.
Select the System Configuration tab from the Home area.
Double-click Security Modules in the Navigation Panel.+ <<<<< problem is here, the OES ADM console does not have this ??!!
Alternately, right-click Security Modules and select Open. The Security Modules page is displayed.
Select the name of the Security Module definition from the table.
Click Add in the Bound to Applications table., either cor select Add from the Actions menu.
Alternately, select Add from the Bound to Applications Actions menu. The Add Applications dialog displays.
Enter a search string in the text box and click the arrow to search.
Alternately, click the arrow with no search string to return all available Applications.
Select one or more applications from the list returned.
Click Add.

Alternately, right-click Security Modules and select Open. The Security Modules page is displayed. <<<< yes SM is there

Running RMI applications

Hi everyone,
I'm new at RMI and I can't seem to be able to get this right. I followed the following steps in creating a test RMI application:
1) Create an interface which extends java.rmi.Remote
2) Code the implementation of this interface which will act as an RMI server (this class extends UnicastRemoteObject and implements the interface created in step 1)
3) compile these files using javac.exe
4) create stubs and skeletons for the this RMI server using rmic
5) create policy security file with the following entries:
grant {
permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:1024-65535", "connect,accept";
permission java.net.SocketPermission "*:80", "connect";
6) run the rmiregistry utility
7) run the RMI server using java <classname>
However, I keep getting the error:
access denied (java.net.SocketPermission myhost resolve)
Can anyone tell me what this means? I already place security permission in my policy security file earlier.

Help needed in running the RMI application with multiple clients

I have my RMI application with one server and 6 clients. I keep all the server and client programs in the same directory. When i run the clients, the first 2 clients work properly but when the third or the fourth client starts, it works normally in getting the data and after a while it crashes. If teh third crashes the 4th works and if the 4th crashes the 3rd, 4th and 5th works ...randomly atleast one or 2 clients crash always.

Application Builder problem on one server but not another

I am having an Application Builder problem. When I get into App Express and go inside the builder and try to edit a listed application, I get an “http 404 the page cannot be found. The page might have had its name changed or is temporarily unavailable” situation. I can get into SQL commands, utilities, and administrative activities. I can also run the application. Also, if I go onto a different server with App Express on it, I can get into the builder and edit applications with no trouble. Our DBA had the server in question rebooted a little over a week ago and that took care of the problem for a couple days. Any ideas? Is this an Express problem or a server problem? He had also tried restarting Express before he had the reboot done and that didn’t help.

ASP application has problems working with oracle database 8.1.7

ASP application has problems working with oracle database 8.1.7 through both oracle ODBC driver and Microsoft ODBC driver
We have an ASP application running on Windows 2000 server, and with 8.1.7 Net8Client and MDAC 2.6 SP1.
The application worked fine with an Oracle 8.0.5 database.
After upgrading oracle database to 8.1.7.0.0, our ASP application works fine except when updating the same data record more than once. The application is not saving our updates.
We tested our application using Oracles ODBC driver v8.1.7.5.0
and experienced more problems. We had problems just bring up our data entry pages. In either case, we are returned with some 505 errors in our browser, problems with the ASP pages and IIS, the page is not displaying.
If anyone has some suggestions on how to fix my problem, please advise. Thanks in advance.

I am writing From Turkey. I have an iphone 5s and i believe i am the one of first iphone 5s buyer in Turkey.
I had a problem and i called apple and nobody solved my problem. I tunes help desk or whatever thay said that problem is not their problem its applications developers problem...
I am explaining my problem :
I downloaded Skype, ICQ ,Air Wings, Shazam , And some of other applications but its koming with japanese language. I change my prefered language to Turkish and my location is also choosen Turkey. But I have still the same problem.
I tunes help desk gave me these link below to solve my problem.
If Apple keep telling me that this is not their problem i am going to change my iphone and my all families phone to another brand...

Adobe Story free application install problem

I have been using Adobe Story Free version for a year but with the most recent automatic update (Dec 2012) the desktop application will not open. Upon clicking the icon for Adobe Story it attempts to take an update but stops with the following message:
" Sorry, an error has occurred. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Application Policy Migration

Hi,
I have an Fusion application (ADF Security) deployed onto WLS-1, and the same Application onto WLS-2. My requirement is to migrate application policies from one env to another (i.e. from WLS-1 to WLS-2). After deploying the application onto WLS-1, the Administrator logs into FMWControl (EM) and do some modifications in the policies associated (let us say granted or revoked). And now, I want to migrate these changes onto WLS-2 (thru some WLST Scripts or OPSS).
I used WLS Import/Export utility from WLS Console and it only migrates the user credentials (users & groups, i.e. content from Embedded LDAP and not from system-jazn-data.xml).
I found some WLST script that migrates policies from Code Base onto WLS during deployment. But my requirement is from one WLS to another WLS.
Please help me with some idea/pointers.

Microsoft platforms have two significant advantages. The first is the concept of an operating system that can function with hardware that ranges from cellular phones to desktop computers. The second is that Microsoft has excellent software development tools
for creating and testing computer programs.
Software compatibility across hardware platforms requires not only meeting CPU and memory requirements. Application programs must be able to automatically adjust Window and control sizes to meet the needs of available window sizes, video display unit sizes
and screen resolutions, switching between vertical and horizontal viewing, vertical and horizontal scrolling, changes in font sizes , and variations in the available screen space due to usage of vertical and horizontal toolbars.
Software developers must be careful that resizing doesn’t squeeze controls too close together or make them so small that they cannot be finger or stylus selected when used with touch screens.
Some of the required automatic resizing options are provided by the Microsoft software compilers and the Windows operating system. Softgroup Component’s “.NET Forms Resize” is an example of one of the third party applications that provide advanced
resizing functionality.
Many of the resizing functions are programmer options and, if not properly enabled, an application may not have the required resizing functionality. At the current state of the art, application programs are highly variable in their capability to do the “intelligent
resizing” that is required to handle different display environments.
A case in point is the Microsoft Preview Application for Windows 10. When entering lengthy comments, the send button becomes positioned off the end of the program window. It is possible to scroll to the button, but the display automatically resets when scroll
