how i can add one t-code to a number of roles? please give some advice.

Instead you can add the tcode to a role and assign that to all the users, this would be easy for you.

    I have installed an ABAP +J2EE instance with the view of using it for Adobe Document Services.
    While following the Adobe Document Services configuration guide, Step 3.2.1.1:
    I'm creating a role in the ABAP engine, creating a user (ADSUser); creating and assigning the role (ADSCallers) to it.
    When I start visual admin, i expect the user to be shown under the 'group': ADSCallers.
    While I can see the user in visual admin, I'm unable to see the group (role in ABAP instance)
    I'm on SP19 NW2004. Any views???

    For Role and authorization Maintenance T.code is PFCG.
    1. Identify the users what kind of Role and authorization needs to be given,
    you can divide the role like PA , OM, TIME and Payoll.
    2. There are 2 kinds of role - a) Single Role and b) Composite Role.
    3. In the Role - give a name and click on create single role.
    then you will find differnt tabs - 1) description, 2) Menu,3)Authorization and user.
    You can define according to the requirement or you can copy from the standard role and assign to this.

  • ERM 5.3 (SP12) Derived Role Update Problem

    Hello Experts,
    I have a question.
    We have a master role/derived role set up in the back-end system. We are trying to update a master role and its derive roles in ERM via PFGC sync.
    Our problem:
    We can add a transaction to a master role no problem in ERM via PFCG sync (adding a transaction code in the back-end and sync to ERM) However, we are unable to update the transaction for derived roles (nothing happens for derived roles in ERM).
    If I am correct, we don't have to add a transaction to each derived role manually, and we should be able to update derived roles automatically once we update a transaction in a master role.
    Please just note that we successfully imported all the master/derived roles from our back-end system, and we are not try to create a derived role in ERM at this time. All we want right now is to update a master role and its derived roles in ERM via PFCG sync.
    If you can, please advice.

    Go to the TXT file , cut the last line from the AGR_1252 (rtable and insert it to the top of the lines ( AGR_1252) , and reimport it will work I had the same problem in my previous implementation.
    try for one parent & child role
    This is a known problem with SAP they will rectify it in SP12/SP13 or so

  • ARQ: Default Role Provisioning Problem in Access Request???

    This Business Scenario is very common to have default role(s) assigned to a User at the back end system. So I have the same requirement. In achieving this, I followed below thread here:
    MSMP Issue - GRC 10
    I have also followed the note#1616092  for configuring the Default Roles.
    I have performed below activities:
    1. Param#2009 = YES
    2. Param#2010 = 001
    3. Param#2011 = REQUEST
    4. Param#2013 = SYSTEM
    5. Param#2038 = YES
    6. Imported a test role and NO ROLE OWNER is maintained.
    7.In NWBC->-AM->RM, I maintained a test role as a default.
    Now when I raise a request, application is successfully adding the default role to the request. However, the problem I am facing is that, one Manager approves the request, it is getting failed.
    The Audit Log says that, the STAGE is "Completed" but I could also see "No Agent Found, Cancelling path XYZ (in stage no. 002- GRAC_ROLEOWNER)
    May I know what I am missing here? Why I am getting error and how can I resolve it?

    and this roles are following your normal paths which I guess assumes manager and role owner.
    How such roles (not having role owner) will follow the normal path Manager->Role Owner if we are enabling routing (Rule ID: GRAC_MSMP_ROUTE_NO_ROLEOWNER) at manager stage level? Can you please help me understand this?
    FN: OK If you enable routing it will go to routing path. I have understood your post as you put in question the behavior of default roles and my point was - they act exacly the same like regular roles.

    If the role does not have role owner it will not allow you the even get to Role Onwer stage - request will be detured.
    My point from the begining was - instead of using the routing rule - in our case we used separate path for default roles without role owner:) only consisted with manager stage. Again your approach is different but also will work.
    Then which Path ID should I use for "GRAC_MSMP_ROUTE_NO_ROLEOWNER" Rule ID, as it is mandatory?
    Should I use my current path for New/Change Account where at Manager level this was routed due to non availability of role owner?
    Are you asking for default roles?

    Not finding one in CRM 7.0 not sure if limited to using knowledge article document.  IS01 is still in the gui but looking for a role that can also do that finction in the web ui.

    You are right, the problem here in the IT role, it is using a transaction type to represent. And this is bit different.
    With more study, please check the following new functionality in CRM 7.0 regarding Knowledge Article

    You are able to maintain this using IC_MANAGER or IC_AGENT role.
    In IC_AGENT, you are able to find two entries:
      Knowledge Search
      Search Knowledge Article
    the previous one is for IS01, the SDB, which is the traditional way.
    While the latter one is the new function to serve the same purpose.
    For the current release, we are having these two at the same time. For SDB, you still have to use IS01, for the Knowledge Article you are able to use web ui.
    Maybe in future (as far as I heard) Knowledge Article might be the solution database instead completely. 
    Still no info available about whether in future we are able to migrate the data from SDB to Knowledge Article.

  • Role grants problem.

    Hi everybody,
    I have this strange problem:
    I've an owner schema owning most of my db's tables: "SALE". SALE is a DBA and creates the rest of db users. I also have a qrya_rl owned by SALE. I grant selects on SALE tables to this qrya_rl and assign it to users whenever necessary.
    Strange thing is in a 10gr2 database, everything is fine and users can select from SALE.xxxxx tables (through a public synonym of course). In 11g r2 however, users are able to select from SALE tables but are not able to compile functions, procedures and packages with references to SALE objects?!?
    Compile error says: unknown table or view : SALE.xxxxx.
    It finally exhausts me and I assign selects on SALE tables directly to users or to Public. Function and packages compile fine!
    My db is a huge transactional database with many users. I do not want to assign privileges to public and having a growing number of users, I do not want to assign privileges directly so I'm stock in here!
    Any ideas?

    Any ideas?privileges acquired via ROLE do not apply within PL/SQL named procedures.

  • Maintaining Problems and solutions in IS01

    Hi all,
    I am working on CRM 5.0. In it, I have created a problem in IS01. After saving and releasing it, it appears in the search help. But when I try to display or change it, I get an error ' Problem no. xx does not exist'.
    Plz help.
    One more query, are FAQs related to the Software Agent Framework(SAF)? I have seen that in SAF, when we go to 'Name and Configure Search Engine', there the host IP and port no. for the search engine are not provided.

    It says in section 3.1.5.2.3 on page 57, the below mentioned paragraph.
    3. On screen Create Problem maintain the following data:
    Be sure that the descriptions of the following problem(s) and solution(s) are defined in all languages that you want to use (e.g., in the E-Commerce Internet Customer Self-Service).
    4.Choose Enter. The default parameters are filled; please also see the NOTE following this description.
    5.Enter the problem description listed in the box below. The first line should not exceed 40 characters, for this is like a short description of the problem that will be displayed in the first line of the hitlist in the search.

  • Role name problems!

    Hi,
    I have copied the collaboration role and changed the name from "Collaboration" to "MyName". Everything works great when I stick to english language but when I change the language to, for instance, swedish, then the original "Collaboration" name is displayed. How can I make it work for all languages?
    Another funning thing is that when I work in the pcd the content tree to the right is displaying "Collaboration" while the editor of the role is showing "MyName". Refreshing the window does not help.
    I'm running NW04 SP9 PL3 on Solaris.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Elvez,
    the reason in general is that for PCD objects, there are display names for different languages possible. If you copy such an object, it seems that only the default name (for languages not maintained specifically) or the name for a concrete language gets replaced.
    In the end, also the second question will have the same reason.

  • Admin + User Roles Setup Problems

    Further to my addition to Monique's post below (mepriestly) ,
    I have now managed to get as far as setting up the Admin and
    Publisher roles and sending a connection key to my client but
    Contribute cannot seem to complete the final step of saving these
    shared settings to my server.
    The result is now an error message saying the Admin settings
    are invalid and it wants to remove all user roles and preferences
    from the system...problem being it's already taken me a week to get
    this far!
    Any help/advice would be hugely appreciated.

    have you moved your website from one computer (webroot
    location) to
    another computer? Was there a difference in the IP
    configuration of the
    machine when it got rebooted where contribute is hosted? If
    so, then you
    need to go to the websiteroot\_mm\*.csi open this file and
    ensure that
    any
    http://<servername>/location/
    has proper IP address in the
    <servername> in the url where ever in the entire file.

  • Merged Roles Ordering Problem

                 We have a role and in that role we want to display other roles. We have set the sub roles properties as follows,
               1) Merge Id
               2) Merge Priority
               3) Sort Priority
    Now the problems is even though we have set those properties the sub roles under the mail roles are not coming in proper order.
    Please suggest some solution.

    Create the following:
    MainRole: Set the MergeID to "Merge1" (or whatever)
    SubRole1
    |______WS1 (call it SubRole1, or whatever)
    SubRole2
    |______WS2(call it SubRole2, or whatever)
    Set the MergeID for SubRole1 and SubRole2 to "Merge1". Make sure the MainRole has a merge priority lower than the subroles.
    To order the nodes of the SubRole, set the Sort Priority of the WS nodes (not the roles).

    I have tried to import pfcg role for ess ui5(SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_UI5_1) into portal, it is not importing and not giving any errors as well.
    other than ESS all are importing into Portal.
    My Portal Version is NW7.4 and ECC 6.0 EHP7 HR Renewal FP 04.
    could any one please suggest why this is happening. In Sandbox and development is working where as QA is getting problem.

    Have you checked the gateway error log, transaction - /IWFND/ERROR_LOG as this should identify what is missing  (under the menu option 'Error Log > Global Configuration you may want to change the error log level to 'Full' otherwise some detail is hidden).
    Have you activated the TASKPROCESSING Odata service?

    We have finished and approved an app for a big client that have an Apple Developer Company account (yes, they have many app just published on Apple Store).
    Now i have to build the app but they only send me an invite to Developer Team with a member role (i can only download provisioning certificates no other).
    The big problem is: how to use their P12 certificate if i can not build from XCode?

    It sounds like you need to talk to the person at your client's company who is responsible for creating iOS certificates. Ask them to create an App ID (if it doesn't already exist), provision files, and push certificates. You'll need to obtain the p12 certificates and passwords in order to build the app. I don't think you can do that with your member sub account.

    About the pan activity price,SAP may maintain in two currency as follows:
    1.CO Area Currency
    2.Object Currency(Company code Currency)
    When maintain the activity price in co area currency,the systme will transfer CO aear currency value  into object currency value,and maintain the activity price in Object currency ,the system will transfer object currency value into CO area currency.so in other words,the system will store the price in the two currency.
    examples
    1.CO Area Currency--USD
    2.Object Currency(Company code Currency)--RMB
    In Sep 2007,I will maintain the plan activity price for Oct,Nov,Dec 2007.and the current rate USD/RMB = 7.75
    the plan activity price = 10 USD.
    after maintainment in CO area Currency,the plan activity price for object currency is  77.5RMB.
    if the rate USD/RMB =8 in Oct 2007.when post the transcation(if activity quantity = 10),the Object currency value is 775RMB(77.510),and the co area currency value = 100usd(1010).
    My problem is why the co area currency value not equal to  96.875 usd(775/8),but 100usd(10*10)
