What does the role sap_rcf_manager_assistant do. This is e-recruiting ehp4
Anyone used it.

    In E-recruiting, I register as external candidate, after maintaining profile and send an application for job posting.
    When I log on as recruiter role, want to find the appliction to use "candidate overview" and "application", but i failed.

    You should open the Recruiter Dashboard on WD version, WD: ERC_A_WORKCENTER.
    On BSP version you have the BSP hrrcf_recruiter. From there you have all the information.

    Hi,
    the most common reason for branches not showing up is caused if someone does not use the frontend for administrator but the IMG nodes for creating branches and assigning to companies. This is caused by missing bp role assignment.
    So check the branches in TCODE BP that they have the role for e-recruiting branch assigned. The standard delivey uses bp role RCFBRA but this can be changed in T77S0 RECFA BRARO.
    Furthermore you should check if T77RCFBRANCHCOMP entries are ok.

  • PERNR of internal candidates in the e-Recruiting system

    Hi Experts,
    We are implementing e-Recruiting 6.0 and have e-Recruiting system integrated in a separate instance and we do data transfer from the HR system to the e-Recruiting system through ALE.  Does anyone know where the personnel number of internal candidates get stored in the e-Recruiting system?  I can see that the sytem brings up PERNR in the portal for all internal candidates, but unable to find out the table in which it is stored. I have checked in the infotype tables and business partner table (BUT000) with no luck.  Can someone help?

    Hi Experts,
    In E-Recruitment With EHP4,UI has got completed changed for Candidate,Recruiter & Manager.
    Want to check out if there is any change in the Requester page ,will the role remain the same SAP_RCF_REQUISITION_REQUESTER
    If the same needs to be used with  Web Dynpro what are are the prerequisite to be done from the Portal end ?
    Please provide a solution at the earliest.

    I have to admit that in my projects i never used the standard startpages as i build them according to the customers definition of processes and requirements. I exclude links not needed and add other standard links or links for customer developments. Furthermore I restructure the startpage groups to the customer needs.
    Furthermore you should i no case use the sap standard roles. Of course as we usually build customer startpages defining customer roles is neseccary anyways, but even if you can use a standard startpage the sap delivery is not save. The standard role allows the recruiter to assign SAP_ALL authorization to every user in the system and if used in integrated installation you open most of the organizational management transaction to everyone. This will never pass a security audit.
    To come back to you specific question question. The data_typist role includes the authorization for entering hard copy applications. This covers everything to create candidates, assign roles, change passwords and run the 2 applications for manual data entry of internal and external applications. The role does not include any startpage, so you have to add the authorization to a startpage. If this is a startpage also used by other users with more authorizations (in this case the user gets an no authorization message when clicking another link) or a customer defined one is a question of the project.
    As usually the startpage authorization uses the same authorization object like the bsp applications started from the startpage -  RCF_APPL Application in E-Recruiting. The startpage is authorized by adding its number.

  • Locked User Error Message for E-recruiting front end

    I'm working on e-Recruiting and when a user tries to login to the front end but that user is locked the error message displayed is incorrect. It currently sends the message: (Client, name, or password is not correct; log on again.) instead of (The user is locked.). Any one have an idea of what might be the problem or where I would go to try and fix this?

    Hey Brooks,
    There is one point where these stuff can be manipulated. Please check out in transaction SICF, go to the service and see the logon details.
    The second thing which stikes to me is that there are several roles in E-recruiting. So for every role , you need a different profile. Please check if the profile matches the user in case.
    Apart from these, there is an interface and the implementation called CL_HTTP_HANDLER takes the logon details, does the processing.

  • Requisition Request - Approval

    Hi there,
    I am trying to configure E-Recruiting in our system which are based on Enhancement Package 4. Also, we are using Netweaver Portal 7.0.
    Here is how I think the requisition scenario works:
    1.) A Hiring manager creates a requisition based on an vacant position (if needed) and fills out an Adobe Interactive Form. (Form Scenario: S_HRMSSRCF_REQUISITION, form - ISR_MSSRCF_SRQ3)
    2.) After filling out the form, the manager submits the requisition request created.
    3.) This requisition request appears in the higher level manager's UWL inbox. It uses the Workflow template WS45600028.
    4.) The higher level manager can approve/reject the requisition.
    5.) If approved, the requisition appears under the Recruiter's login (containing the recruiter portal role). The Recruiter then, enters more information regarding the approved requisition and creates a Job posting.
    These are the things I am trying to get done, as of right now. However, the problem is face is: when the workflow item appears in the higher level manager's inbox, there is no option to Approve. I have the following four options:
    1.) Resubmit
    2.) Forward
    3.) Assign to me
    4.) Process Form
    I can use the first three, but if i try and use Process form, it tells me that this application should no longer be used. The system also points me to SAP NOTE 1024326, which suggests updating the system to EHP 2, but our systems are already on EHP 4.
    Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is my understanding of the Requisition process incorrect, given the fact that there are a lot of updates to this functionality from EHP 3 onwards?
    I have search the SDN forums for solutions on this, but wasn't able to find anyone facing a similar problem.
    I greatly appreciate any help that you can provide.

  • Requisition Approval Process in EHP4

    HI,
    In EHP4- E-recruiting, I have given one user the role of Restricted Recruiter. During the requisition creation process, this user should not be allowed to release the Requisition. But this user can release the requisition. It is not asking for the Approver. I hvae already activated the standard workflow for this

    Where can I find out more about what the "workitem" is and where it should be "displayed" to the approver? I'm not sure of what "Interface" the Approver is supposed to Login to, in order to approve the requisition so as to set the requisition's status to "Released".
    I'm using the Restricted Recruiter role that you describe, and I'm able to get the workflow to send an email to the designated approver. However, the default email doesn't mention anything about the "workitem" and the email does not provide a Link so that the approver can complete the Approval process.
    We are using a distributed SAP E-Recruiting sytem and we do not use SAP Portal or MSS. In addition, we have only turned on and activated Business Function "HCM_ERC_CI_1".
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Notifications/Correspondence in eRec Ehp4

    Hello All,
    Currently when a any activity is create or even when external candidate is registered in the erec system there is default an attachments being attached and sent to the candidates or any recipients. This one i am seeing it from SOST.
    My requirement is such that based on the activity which is assigned to the form needs to be triggered for the respective activity when created. But currently when ever i create any activity for the candidate by default an attachments "letter to candidate" in PDF is getting trigged

    What should i do in the cofig if it should send the form "HRRCF_CS_EXA_INVITATION"

    Hello Pavithra,
    E-Recruiting uses the BSP technology for user interface. For E-Recruiting 300 BSP was the only user interface, with E-Recruiting 600 SAP introduced WebDynpro for candidate as an option, while for recruiters, managers and admin pages stayed with BSP. With EhP 4 WebDynpro replaces BSP for all E-recruiting applications.
    You will find all BSP applications relevant for E-Recruting in Package PAOC_RCF_UI.
    For the general structure. The very most applications are grouped on startpages for the different roles in the recruiting process (ext. candidate, int. candidate, recrutier, decision maker, ...). To get the links of these standard startpages just run report RCF_GENERATE_URLS. You can then logon to the different startpages but be sure to generate a candiate for your user first, using report RCF_CREATE_USER.
    To learn more about how the different applications are linked within the startpage check the startpage and perhaps the container sequence customizing. Keep in mind that in the IMG only the customer entries are fond. To see the sap standard delivery you will have to use SE11/SE16. E-Recruiting customizing is stored in T77RCF* tables, startpage customizing is T77RCF_SP and container sequence customizing is T77RCF_CS. If you do not get along with the table descriptions just check the technical info of the tables/views behind the IMG nodes, then look for an table named without the C at the end. also check table T77RCF_LOG_APPL.
    I hope that helps for a start.

    If you have worked in HR then it would be fine for you to understand the industry processes followed and then its easy to map those in SAP.But you need to gain some knowledge on configuration part if you want to be functional. if you would like to be technical , then surely you need to have programming exp.
    In both the cases you need real time exp. . So what you can do is ,get some training in SAP HR and then look for some support projects. After gaining some exp. in real time, you can apply to consulting companies.

    In the IMG, SAP E-Recruiting > Basic Settings > Enterprise Structure > Define Business Partner Role for Branches
    Can anyone help in the following:
    1) What is the purpose of Business Partner Role and how does it relate the Branches? Or how can i make use of it?
    2) If i am going to maintain the Company & Branches via the Administrator function instead of IMG, do I still need to configure this step: Define Business Partner Role for Branches

    Hello William,
    the Business Partner is an application / module which belongs to the base components of the SAP. It is used and partly extended by various other applications / modules. Next to E-Recruiting it is used for example by CRM and the financial service solution (FS-CS, FS-PM, FS-RI). All of these modules can put their data for a person or an organization into the same tables. Depending on the installation / system environment or even within one single module the requirements for available fields and business checks as on authorization differ between kinds of business partners (e.g. in FS-CS the commission solution for the financial service sector knows external agents and internal employees which have to be treated differently). The business partner is the element to assign the logical / business role in which a person is handled by the system.
    For E-Recruiting you have 2 kinds of business partners, too. On the one and there are people being candidates and on the other hand there are branches of your company which hire people. The configuration allows you to seperate them if you need to identify anywhen which business partner is a branch and which is a candidate. So far I never tried if this is really working as there is no real use for this I never set it up. The attributes and the business checks are the same anyways.

    PS: please remember that you have to maintain the branches via administrator bsp application. Using the IMG entry won't work.

  • Error while accesing requisition from recruiter role in portal

    Dear Experts ,
    When we are trying to access *requisition in recruiter role in portal it is showing you are not authorized to perform this applcation. Can you pleae suggest me what will be the problem.
    For clarity we are having EHP4 , and the portal nw7.1 , we have assigned SAP _ALL to the user we are testing and in portal we had assigned super admin , recruiter , recrutiment administrator.

  • E-Recruiting : Role Authorization in e-recruiting standalone scenario

    Hello Friends,
    We have EREC on a standalone system (ERD 100). HR ECC is another system (ECD 300), Enterprise portal in another system (EPD 100).
    we are on EHP 5, EREC 605, Support Pack 7.
    We have activated the single sign on mechanism.
    I have following queries regarding role authorizations on EREC in  standalone model.
    1) We have standard reference users  such as recruiter, manager, decision-maker, data entry clerk, rec.admic etc;  the" RCF_RECRUIT, RCF_MANAGER, RCF_CAND_INT, RCF_DATA_TYP" etc, Should this reference users be created both in EREC & HR system or only in EREC system ?
    2) If the "RCF_XXXX" reference users roles are supposed to be created only in EREC system, how to assign reference user roles to employees whose master data is in HR System. ?
    3) Can support teams concept help for mass authorizations? Can someone elaborate on the support team, support group concepts ?

    Just  expanding my query on the 2nd point regarding assigning Reference users like manager, recruiter to certain employees :
    Example: Say I have Emp. No 20003000. He is an hiring manager, In HR System,  IT105, subtype user id is "20003000".
    To assign RCF_MANAGER reference user role to user id 20003000, should i have to recreate the userid in EREC system as well and assign it in SU01 for this user id.
    Would like to take your comments.
