Roll back for QueueConnectionFactory

My Stateless Session Bean call entity bean and MDB. My Session Bean TX Requied. If I create jms use javax.jms.QueueConnectionFactory, I have roll back for required XA Database driver. But if I create jms use WLS connection factory with default setting, there is no error.
          conFactory= (QueueConnectionFactory) ctx.lookup(CONNECTION_FACTORY);

Doing a Roll Back for Transport Request

Hi,
I have a situation where I wanted to bring all of my objects (IDoc Type, Message Type etc...) under single request but when I did that, I am unable to test my Inbound Function Module (Custom). It gives me an error saying "Interface for this function module is incorrect". But before changing the transport request, everything was working fine.
So, can somebody tell me how to roll back the changes done in Transport Organizer?

it's just a service pack, so you could manually downgrade the RPMs and that's it. But to be honest, I wouldn't expect any problems, and if, Novell support should be able to resolve them quickly.

Roll back for GW 8.0.3

Good morning,
When updating to GroupWise 8.0.3, my customer raised the question/concern about roll back to the GroupWise 8.0.2 HP3 in case something goes wrong. Are there any options to do so in 8.0.3? This is a cluster environment, SLES10SP4/OES2SP3 GroupWise 8.0.2 HP3, I assume that on the Nodes where the agents run, we could simply move a PO to a Node that has not yet been updated, however; what happens with the Primary Domain if something goes wrong.

Roll back in Adapter DataBase using Polling | BPEL 11g

Hello Guys,
I'm having a problem with roll back for polling "Update a field in Table(Logical Delete)" in DataBase Adapter BPEL 11g.
My process is:
Does polling in the table from the database changed the value in column from 0 for 1 and then put the message on a JMS queue.
The problem is:
When an exception occurs in the process, for example, exception when posting message in the queue, he does not roll back the database, then the value in the table column is changed to 1 and not 0 as it should.

You need to ensure that your process is working in a single transaction.
You are correctly using the XA datasource.
Next you need to ensure that you do not have a dehydration point in the process and if there is a call to another BPEL process they are in a same transaction.

If i read your question correctly you are asking about how uncommited transaction are rolled back.For this, concept of transaction log came into picture.where first changes were first made to transaction log and then into memory .Before any change is made
to real data file change is made to trn log files so that if rollback comes it can see in log and rollback it.

HT202643 OK so I rolled back to Java 1.6 per the instructions but!!!

OK so I rolled back to Java 1.6 per the instructions but now the Java icon doesn't work in system pref's anymore. Not sure if that will cause a problem but it would be nice if that button worked again. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for the heads up Kappy. Do you know how to remove the button from Sys Pref's? The newer version of Java was saved per the instructions so I guess the Icon will come back if necessary when I upgrade again. I rolled back for PhpStorm IDE which doesn't seem to like the most recent version of Java from Oracle.

Is there a way to roll back ios6? I upgraded before I knew about the new mapping. I used google maps all the time and absolutely hate the new one. Just about everything I've looked for is wrong or missing.

Desperate for easy way to roll back 5.1 firmware to a previous version?

The company I work for uses a proprietary iPod Touch app for data management. I have a 3rd gen iPod Touch that I updated to firmware 5.1. I don't think many people in the company keep up with firmware updates like I do. However that may now be to their advantage because we had an app software update about the time the firmware update happened and my app no longer works like it should - I am one of very few employees, nation wide, that has this problem. I think it has to do with an incompatability of the app software and the 5.1 firmware. I really need to be able to use the app to it's fullest capacity. Its been weeks and the company hasn't fixed the problem so I'm seeking answers of my own.
Is there a simple way to roll back the firmwareto 5.0 or before the cloud software came out (I don't know what version that would be)??? or is it permanent?
I use a Microsoft based notebook for my iPod/iTunes managment so answers gear to a Mac won't necessarily make sense to me.

Cannot install itunes for windows 7 (64), repeatedly get "Roll back" and told to reinstall, but this does not work. Tried the latest ITunes 11 for 64. Same problem. I have an ipad which works OK. HELP

hi mate i think i may have just solved this for you. had the same problem as you, i uninstalled all apple products and quicktime and safari, did a disk clean up and deleted old restore points(might not need to but did it anyway) downloaded itunes from explorer and managed to install the new itunes 11 wooohooooo hope this helps buddy

Can you roll back the iMovie 9.0.6 update as it has trashed iMovie for me?

Since the auto update of iMovie to 9.0.6 I cannot open iMovie and more - it just crashes every time trying to import the projects. I either need to KILL all old projects or roll back iMovie so that it is usable!!!

There's a workaround .. delete the currently installed iMovie app. Then reinstalling will give you iMove 9.0.6.
Use this free utiilty to uninstall iMovie > Download AppCleaner for Mac
Once it's uninstalled, you can re download iMovie for free using the same Apple ID it was originally purchased from.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

Let's open the discussions on rolling BACK to 3.1.3 - who has found a source with reliable information on how to make this happen? I lost my apps, my text messages, emails.. so many things - but worst of all, my iPhone is cripplingly S L O W - There must be some way to wipe it and go back to 3.1.3. Surely using time machine - we can get our old .ipsw file back or SOMETHING?

Yeah there is a number for support but thats a joke I called them once last week because after upgrading to io4 the phone bricked. They got it back rinning and it worked ok for a few days not it is nothing but trouble. It randomly shuts off, a full battery is smoked in less than 2 hours with nothing running, txt messages take a FULL 2 min to come up. That is just the high lights so I called them back today and low and behold the phone is 1 year and 3 days old and I didn't buy there CARE plan so this was there options, send them $200 dollars and the phone and they will repair or replace it or pay them a per min. fee and they might tell me how to fix THERE PROBLEM. I already did a complete restore (3 times) all to have the same issues. I would love to get this thing rolled back to 3.????? because the phone worke fine before. Oh yeah they also told me if I take the phone to an "APPLE" store they could downgrade it for me (if only there was a store closer than 3 hours away it would have been done)

Stop Windows Update Service and BIT Service now.
Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and delete all file under this folder.
Start Windows Update and BIT service now.
Then try to download windows update now.
If doesn't work, please reset the windows update componments

- OSX: Maverick to Yosemite = not recommended (check it out > http://roaringapps.com/apps)
- iPad: older versions as iPad2 should not upgrade to iOS7/8 (it's not supporting its hardware accordingly, it's designed for the latest hardware)
- iTunes (it's possible to rollback to 10.7 - 11.4, but you need to breech OSX system security framework)
- Pages (was a real alternative for many of us, each update reduced features and created incompatibility to older work files)

Zen Xtra won't connect for Firmware Install. WMP Rolled back to v

My Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra would not load firmware from it's hard dri've. It only entered into a cycle of displaying the 'Creative' then 'EAX' screens. I Downloaded the latest version of firmware 'ZenXtraP4SAudible_PCFW_LB_2_0_03' and installed it following the instructions on the Creative website.
The install started initially but then failed because either the software installing the firmware, or the zen xtra, locked up. I left it for nearly an hour and had no choice but to cancel and try again.
Since this time I have been unable to load any version of firmware to the zen xtra. The installer says that the zen is not connected even though it is. When I do connect it, the 'autoplay' dialog appear asking me what to do. So, the computer recognises the device as 'NOMAD Jukebox Zen Xtra' but the firmware installer will not recognise it at all.
I have carried out a 'Reload OS' in preparation for new firmware. I have also carried out a 'Format All' and 'Clean Up' from the Recovery Menu that the zen xtra is now stuck in. All appears to be fine with the Zen's hard dri've as, on completion of the format, the hard dri'ves shows 'Freespace 3833.7MB'.
I have looked on this discussion forum and FAQ and this appears to be a common problem but have found no solutions. I have tried uninstalling Windows Mediaplayer and rolled back to v0 and reinstalling drivers and MediaSource software but problem persists. Please help.

Turns out you have to uninstall Windows Media Player Runtime v as well as WMP itself.
Also, if you have the problem with reduced HDD space because of installing PlayForSure firmware, you could install a bigger hard dri've. They are the generic 2.5 inch hard dri'ves fitted in Laptop Computers! My 40Gb Zex Xtra now has the 80Gb HDD I removed from my VAIO! And it was easier to do on the Zen than it was on the VAIO!

After downloading service pack 1 for Windows 7 Firefox did not respond anymore (I got the startscreen, but could not do anything, it "hang"), after a roll back Firefox did work again: are Firefox and SP1 incompatible?

After implementing SP1 for Windows 7 Firefox "hang"(I got the startscreen, but could not do anything: no response). After a roll back removing SP1 Firefox works again.
I installed SP1 also some months ago and had the same problems, also then this was solved also by a roll back removing SP1.

Followed the given advice: installed SP1 again, ran Firefox in safemode, disabled other running programs as mutorrent, still Firefox didnt work. I had internetconnection (after restarting mutorrent this did work, the app telling me what the weather outside is worked) but no Firefox: as previous time I got the start screen, but could not browse the internet.
I also tried to start the Internet Explorer and it also looked as if that application had problems (but that can also be because I did not use it for a while - old version or whatever - and it is not my standard browser).
Have again performed a roll back in order to remove SP1, now Firefox works again.
If somebody has advice it would be very welcome!
