Rollover text that changes images in another location.

I have a list of names in iWeb and I want to make it so that when you hover over a name their picture shows up on the right.
I would like all the pictures to show up in the same spot (and just change whenever the mouse is hovering over a different name)
Can anybody help me?

Just a couple more questions:
The pictures I have are variable sizes, and I've been playing with the code to try and find where the change is to allow them to appear in their respective dimensions. Should I just add an alpha layer to the images surrounding them, (so they're all the same dimensions/ratio), or is there a quick way to change the code to account for this?
And the other question is a bit of a stupid one, but I'm using the dakota handwriting font with a cream/ivory color text, and I'm not seeing in the code where to change the color of the text from blue, or what to type into the font (replacing verdana) for the dakota handwriting.
Here's kinda how I'd like the page to look:

  • Best Practices for Text That Changes During Sequence?

I have been using creating videos like the one here, in which text shows up every so often over the scene:
Making The Walking Dead Pinball Machine - YouTube
Thus far, I've been creating a title, duplicating it for each time the text changes, and loading each title into the sequence at the time I want it to appear. Is there a simpler way to create text that changes throughout a sequence, so I don't have to worry about each overlay having slight differences in position or other attributes?
Just curious if there's an easier workflow for putting text over video.
    Thanks!

You can also save yourself a few steps by duplicating the title through the Timeline by ALT+dragging it to the new location (which creates not only a new track item but also an independent new project item), then double-clicking the new track item to open it in the Titler for editing. But this refinement in your workflow has no bearing on the stated concern re: "differences in position or other attributes"--that's entirely a function of the changes you make within the Titler.

  • How to create rollover text on an image

I'm a non-coder I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 to create a personal website.  I know next to nothing about CSS, but I think I understand how to create a style and apply it to elements.
My website has several image galleries, and what I'd like to be able to do is create a rollover text box of some kind that floats up in a fixed position when mouseover on an image.  What I'm looking to do is basically what this website does on their top header image:
    AstroBin | AstroBin
I've experimented some with spry tooltips but I want the text box to be in the same position and not wherever the mouse is pointing at the time.  I have done hours of searching and I cannot come up with a solution to this (at least not one that I understand) and it's quite possible that I don't even know the terms to search for.
What tools or terms am I describing here?  What should I be searching for?
Can anyone point me to a good tutorial to do what I'm asking?  Please give me the dummy version!
    Thanks in advance.

  • To place text or gif image on another gif image

We have requirement to write some content on top of a GIF image. Is it possible to write a text or embed a GIF image on top of a GIF image? We are using jdk1.3.1.
The final image should be a gif or jpeg image.
Using graphics2d drawstring method, we can write a text on a image but graphics2d can be placed on the canvas for displaying purpose but how to convert this graphics2d to bufferedimage so that we can save as gif or jpeg image.

Just a thought: a lot of users find this kind of
    functionality (major
changes to the display upon just mousing over something)
    distracting/annoying.

  • Dynamically change image in another front panel

    Hi everyone,
I have a 2D picture that is shown full screen on another front panel and when i enter new inputs (focal length or wavelength) in the main front panel, the picture in that second front panel will change. But I want the picture in the second front panel to be changed dynamically when I enter new inputs. I've tried doing it using a button ("Full screen") to make the picture change but it only be changed if i close the full screen picture and click on the button again. I would like to know if there are other ways of changing the picture dynamically without using any buttons.
    Thanks

  • Texts that i send to another phone are received blank

so i noticed when i send a text to certain person if the text is more than 2 lines long it will say its sent but the person receives it blank i believe this happens when i send it to a person that is using sprint. when i send it to another person i can send a much larger text without them getting it as a blank text does anyone know why this is happening ?

Might be the limit the recipient has on SMS messages.
Most carriers limit the amount of characters an SMS can have when sending/receiving.
As the issue only occurs while sending to Sprint and you don't have the issue with other carriers, the issue would lie with AT&T or the other Carrier/Phone.
    Hope this helps.

  • Moving Server Pool Storage/Image to another location

I have a server pool that is using an NFS mount as the 12G of cluster storage at 192.168.0.5. This server pool has 1 Oracle VM server with 2 VM guests that I simply can not loose.
I need to move that to NFS mount to another server at 192.168.0.31
I know I can simply create another server pool, but once I do that, I believe I need another Oracle VM server (which I do not have).
Or can you move the entire Oracle server along with the VMs to the other pool seemlessly?
What is the best way to go here?

This is my environment right now.
One Physical Host with a 3 TB internal SATA drive. Oracle VM server 3.0.1 installed.
Another Host with RHEL 5.5 on it where I installed Oracle VM Manager 3.0, on this RHEL 5.5 host, I also created an NFS export (192.168.0.5 with about 30G possible of space).
Created a Server Pool with cluster storage of the NFS mount above.
Discovered the OVM Server, and added it to the Server pool.
Created a repository on the 3 TB drive in that server that was detected by OVM manager. Created a few virtual disks.
    Created a few VNICs.
Created 2 virtual machines using 3 different virtual disks that are attached to the one VM server. All working as expected so far.
Now I want to move the NFS cluster storage to a new host. (192.168.0.31 - that does not get rebooted as much)
Created a new server pool using the new cluster storage.
I have taken down both VM guests, and migrated them to the "unassigned Virtual Machines" folder.
The large 3TB repo, I un-presented to the Oracle VM server.
I then tried to remove the VM server from the server pool, and receive this

  • Exporting projects that reference images in other projects

Hello, all. I'm wondering if anyone out there has had luck exporting projects that reference images in another project. I've just given this a try, and I get empty images (dotted gray outlines that can't be multi-selected and can't be "managed" as referenced files, even though it knows where the original file should be).
Here's how I have things set up:
    1. main project with referenced images
    2. secondary project with an album that references images in the main project (secondary project shows 0 images, but album in secondary project shows N images)
I export the secondary project, and import it into another Aperture instance. All images show up as dotted outlines.
Furthermore, if I go into list view, the Activity Monitor does something bizarre. It shows the # thumbnails remaining as a moving target. See the video below for an example.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
    Screen captures:
    Missing images as dotted outlines:
    http://echeng.com/temp/aperture-missing-images.png
Small video of thumbnail creating bug:
    http://echeng.com/temp/aperture-thumbnail-bug.mov

I do this sort of thing constantly and things a whole lot more complicated. It works fine on all three of my laptops and my macpro. I actually just tried to simulate the exact conditions you describe and I will tell you what happened.
1)Create new empty project in library A called "export"
2)Create new empty album in that project.
3)Dragged multiple images from different projects (all referenced) into that new album.
4)Used file->export project with the consolidate images checked. Imported that project into a new/different library.
All of the images showed up and they all showed up as managed masters as expected. So I then relocated the masters from that project and did the same thing in reverse, back to the old library. I ended up with another project called "export (1)" with all of the images referenced and having nothing to do with the original project or the original referenced masters - as expected.
I did the testing not to figure it out but to validate that nothing had changed or broken since the last update.
You are either not doing what you think you are doing or your library/library is forked - you may want to try a rebuild or just create a brand new set of libraries and try to validate that it will work with a brand new set of libraries to try to isolate the issue to 1 - your existing libraries or 2 - your installation.

  • How move a physical disk directory that contains images

PSE 11. How can I move a directory on my hard drive that contains images to another drive from within PSE 11? Thanks.

    Hi Bazsl,
Just a quick answer, late to pick up my wife -grin.
Starting with the assumption you are just seeing the column of directories without the indication of what drive they are on:    If So then:
On the left margin next to the begining of the yellow folders aka directories, there is a small symbol of two yellow folders, if you click it the normal directory view will appear  (also assuming you are familar with earlier versions of PSE ).
Then you can click and drag the directory to its new location, again the system may take a few minutes to complete the move if you have a big catalog of pictures...
    gotta run..

  • Displaying an RTF document that contains images

    Hello,
I am trying to display styled text that contains images. I thought the simplest way to do this was to save my documents as RTF documents, and display them through the JEditorPane. But, when the JEditorPane display the documents, the text is styled properly, but there are no images being drawn. Is the JEditorPane capable of displaying RTF files that contain images?
My main objective is to display documents in Java that other people have created; so if there is some other small libraries that can do this. I would be interested. I need to display the documents in an applet, so I want the library to be small.
    Thanks
    Vance

JEditorPane will render HTML and basic CSS with images.
