  • JDev 10.1.3 / Ant / element classes not defined in parent war

    I tried to build a WAR file with Ant in JDeveloper 10.1.3 (Preview). The source of the build.xml:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <project name="MyApp" default="war" basedir=".">
    <target name="init">
    <tstamp/>
    </target>
    <!-- ... -->
    <target name="war" depends="init">
    <war destfile="../deploy/myApp.war" encoding="Cp1252" webxml="../public_html/WEB-INF/web.xml">
    <classes dir="../classes"/>
    <lib dir="../public_html/WEB-INF/lib"/>
    <webinf dir="../public_html/WEB-INF"/>
    <metainf dir="public_html/META-INF"/>
    </war>
    </target>
    </project>
    I got 3 error messages, which do not correspond to the Ant documentation:
    - element classes not defined in parent war
    - element lib not defined in parent war
    - element webinf not defined in parent war
    That's why I'm not able to build a war file for deployment.
    Is there any chance to bypass/correct the errors?

    This bug has been fixed for the Production Release. There is no workaround in the Preview Release. However, these errors should only appear while editing the Ant buildfile. They should not prevent you from running the buildfile.

  • Error message TD427 (A text element is not defined for form J_1IEWT_CERT)

    Hello,
    Q> I assign the SAP script form J_1IEWT_CERT to 'SPRO=>Withholding Tax Certificates for Vendor and Customers' and was trying to see the print preveiw. But once I press printpreview button error comes "ELEMENT TITLEDET WINDOW TITLEDET IS NOT DEFINED FOR FORM J_1IEWT_CERT" and i can't see the printprview.
    Same thing I tried with the copy of J_1IEWT_CERT from 000 client to ZJ_1IEWT_CERT; but same error is coming.
    If i try the printpreview through SE71 it shows without error.
    Thank You.

    "test printing" via SE71 only prints what exists in the form. Here your form is missing TITLEDET window and element.
    The print program tries to print TITLEDET but it does not exist. Could you check SAP notes to get correct versions of print program and sapscript form.

  • How to accept xml even when elements are not defined in its schema

    Hi,
    I got this requirement where i need to accept xmls even though its schema definition is not available note that i am storing the xmls into obejection-relational mode in oracle xmltype column table.
    How can i register schamas which has a perticular element defined conditionally to refer to two schemas based on its elementname (pct:CompanyName and CompanyName), please go through the below given scenario for further clarity on the same
    Oracle Version
    Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production
    CORE 11.2.0.3.0 Production
    *Sample XML
    * <CabInfo>
         <pct:CabName>Yellow Cab</pct:CabName>
         <CompanyName>Taxi4You<CompanyName>
    </CabInfo>
    Schema Definition
    Cab.xsd
    <xsd:All minOccur="0">
    <xsd:element name="CabInfo" type="pct:Cabs" minOccurs="0"/>
    </xsd:All>
    pct points to a commontype.xsd file
    <xsd:complexType name="Cabs">
    <xsd:all minOccurs="0">
    <xsd:element name="CabName" type="xsd:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xsd:element name="CompanyName" type="xsd:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    </xsd:all>
    </xsd:complexType>
    Now when a xml comes with both the tags pct:CabName and pct:CompanyName then its not an issue however i need to accept xmls which can come as pct:CabName and only CompanyName without the pct namespace referrence.
    I was considering choice tags a method to acheive this but i read it cannot be used with ALL i cant remove ALL either from my schema.
    Please suggest if this can be acheived.

    Hello,
    You can use module pool to design the screen, all the fields will then remain fixed in the position defined.
    CALL SCREEN 100. " 3 fields declared P_NAME p_ROL and P_SUBJECT

  • Error parsing envelope: (1, 1) Start of root element expected.

    Hello BI Publisher:
    The issue has been resolved. I found the cause the problem. The following line in my WSDL was preventing BI Publisher from reading the WSDL, which will return the "Error parsing envelope" message:
    <xsd:attribute name="dateTimeTagFormat" fixed="xsd" use="required"/>
    Once I removed the above line, BI Publisher was able to read the WSDL without any issues, and run the report.

    Hello BI Publisher:
    I am trying to define a new dataset of type "Web Service", with a Complex Type configuration using WS-Security 2004. I get the following error when I try to "View" it:
    **"javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Error parsing envelope: (1, 1) Start of root element expected."**
    This happens even if my Application Server (where the service is located) is not running, so I suspect that the error happens before the Publisher server tries to send the SOAP envevelop to the service server.

    Hello BI Publisher:
    The issue has been resolved. I found the cause the problem. The following line in my WSDL was preventing BI Publisher from reading the WSDL, which will return the "Error parsing envelope" message:
    <xsd:attribute name="dateTimeTagFormat" fixed="xsd" use="required"/>

    Publisher Version: Release 10.1.3.4
    Complex Type: True
    Username: User1

  • Validate xml with complextype schema without root element!

    Hi All!
    I have a problem that. I want to validate a xml data of complextype but the schema i want to validate is[b] not have root element.
    For example:
    The schema like that
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema targetNamespace="www.thachpn.test" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="www.thachpn.test" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
         <xs:complexType name="Name">
              <xs:sequence>
                   <xs:element name="FirstName" type="xs:string"/>
                   <xs:element name="LastName" type="xs:string"/>
              </xs:sequence>
         </xs:complexType>
    </xs:schema>
    and the xml data i want to validate like this
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Name xmlns="www.thachpn.test" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
         <FirstName>Pham</FirstName>
         <LastName>Thach</LastName>
    </Name>
    My Algorithm is like that:
    I create a complextype object by above schema
    then i create new element with given name and namespace
    after that i use schema of this element to validate xml data.
    I use xmlparserv2 lib of oracle
    But i can not find how to create complextype from schema or create element with have complextype.
    Please help me.
    Thanks a lot!

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    Modify the schema.
    Add a root element.
    <xs:schema targetNamespace="www.thachpn.test" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="www.thachpn.test" elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
    <xsd:element name="Name" type="Name"/>
    <xs:complexType name="Name">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="FirstName" type="xs:string"/>
    <xs:element name="LastName" type="xs:string"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
    </xs:schema>

  • Shared library extended class Error #1065: Variable is not defined

    Right, bit of a complicated set-up  here. I've got a class structure which includes the View class:
    com.website.buttons.MyButton
    Then i've got a shared library swc called sharedassets.swc  that contains a MovieClip in the library that uses  'com.website.buttons.MyButton' as its 'Linkage Properties' base class,  extending with the following empty class:
    com.website.timeline.sharedassets.BackButton
    Then i've got a second  swc that  imports the BackButton mc into its own library as a shared library asset, and uses an instance of  it on the stage in a MovieClip of it's own called LinearNavBar.  LinearNavBar's Linkage Properties are thus:
    Class: com.website.timeline.sequence.LinearNavBar
    Base class: com.website.navigation.LinearNavbar
    Again, 'com.website.navigation.LinearNavbar' is an actual class in the code base, whilst 'com.website.timeline.sequence.LinearNavBar' does not exits (ie: its dynamically created by the swc at compile time). 'Automatically declare stage instances' is unchecked
    Over in the class structure in my  Flash Builder project, I've got another class
    com.website.navigation.Sequence
    Which instantiates a new version of  LinearNavBar and adds it to the stage:
    var navBar:Navbar = new LinearNavBar();
    addChild(navBar);
    At which point the following error is  shown:
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable BackButton is not defined.
    It seems Flash Builder cannot find 'com.website.timeline.sharedassets.BackButton', even though BOTH compiled swcs are included as part of the projects.
    What gives, my friends? I am most heartily perplexed.

    I have on the permit debugging option but it says nothing but these errors
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable Button is not defined.
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable ComponentShim is not defined.
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable LoaderProV3AS3 is not defined.

  • Error #1065: Variable  is not defined on ObjectUtil??

    One comment to Adobe, it would be nice if the debugger would
    output better errors. Maybe it's just my lack of experience, but
    trying to track down errors is a daunting task.
    I had spent an entire night trying to track down this error
    and it has come down to the following code:
    private function server_fault(event:FaultEvent):void{
    Alert.show(ObjectUtil.toString(event));
    The ObjectUtil seems to be causing this error as if i change
    it to (event as String) it works fine. But this makes absolutely no
    sense since i have other classes that use the exact same code w/o a
    hitch. I do have the ObjectUtil imported.
    Here is the entire error:

  • Error # 1065: Variable is not defined ..

    Hi ALL,
    I m wondering for 2 days whats this error means, previouly my file was running perfect, one day i open and do some changes than compile it shows these errors in output panel :
    1. variable button is not defined.
    2. variable component shim is not defined.
    3. variable loaderprov3 is not defined.
    i cant find how to fix these,as the behavior of flash is ambigious now. one time i run the file it runs perfectly, second i just code simple if else statement and than run the file, it leads to the above mentioned errors i m totally stuck and cant find any ways to get rid of these junks, Also compiler error window says, "unknown error optimizing byte code".
    Anyone help me out,
    cheers.

  • Error: $x_ShowChildren is not defined

    The page definition page is not displaying any of the usual page objects. I'm getting an Error: $x_ShowChildren is not defined in the error console.
    Source File: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=4000:4150:1692562586117686::NO:::
    Line: 39 error on the page definition page.

    Hi all, we are experiencing this "$x_ShowChildren is not defined" error on our new
    APEX 3.0 installation.
    I've already checked the notes at
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/3.0_fsps.html#01
    and our page really looks as depicted at point one but the refresh doesn't seem to
    do anything. We have tried to flush the cache and even change browser (IE and FF)
    but the problem is still there.
    I've checked the page source and the missing function is defined in
    /i/javascript/htmldb_html_elements.js
    The js file is visible if loaded directly but somehow the page fails with
    Error: $x_ShowChildren is not defined
    Source File: [...]/f?p=4000:4150:4106999370516652::::FB_FLOW_PAGE_ID,FB_FLOW_ID:1,101

    (I've removed our address there ...)
    The strange thing is that this happens only from certain PCs but all the
    configurations (browser, network, ...) seem to be identical.
    Any idea of what might be going on?
    Thanks in advance for your kind help

  • Root Element in Syndicator?

    hi All,
    I am currently working with MDM Syndicator.
    My problem is about Root element
    when i am opening in the syndicator file-->destination properties
    it will open dialog box with the following options, (i.e. type,Remote system,port,xml schema,xml file name,Root.
    when i am selecting type as xml schema , romote system(i.e which i have declared in console for that repository). but when i click on OK button.
    it is asking for the Root element required.
    can any one help me about:
    1)what is root element?
    2)where we can declare root element and where we can use it in syndicator?
    3)what actually Root element holds in it?
    can any please provide answers to this questions
    thanks in Advance

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for your reply for the pervious question Michael.
    But.................?
    My Problem is..........
    Under Admin in console i  have selected XML Schema table and i have created one record with Name as "xml schema file one" and in the filename field i have clicked on the browse button and selected one .xsd file in the repository.
    (i have tried with .xml schema file also but not....)
    I have opened the syndicator on that particular repository and in the source item i am able to see the table and fields of that particular repository and i have clicked on the file option and i have choosen "Destination properties" it has opened dialog box with different input fields, there i have selected type as "xml schema" and Remote system " MDM "(default). when i selected type as xml schema automatically xml schema input field is enabled and it as shown all the xml schema files or record  which i have created in the XML schema table under Admin of the console.
    But Root element is not enabled, what i have to do?
    In the previous question you have said like this " <b>you have to add an XML Schema to your repository using the <u>corresponding branch</u> in the Console Admin menu</b>.
    what is the corresponding branch in the console Admin menu,  can you please explain me in details...
    if there is any other procedure to come out of this problem, can you please explain me in details ?
    Thanks in advance

  • E4X: What happens to the root element?

    I'm working with XML using the E4X notation. I'm used to the "old school" XML APIs that use DOM and I'm a bit confused.
    For example, let's consider the following XML
    <mx:XML id="myXML" >
      <top>
        <sub1 id="uno">
          <sub2>hello</sub2>
          <sub3>world</sub3>
        </sub1>
        <sub1 id="duo">
          <sub2>ok</sub2>
          <sub3>ko</sub3>
        </sub1>
      </top>
    </mx:XML>
    In my code I use the following traces. This is done with the De MonsterDebugger, but all others should work the same way. I have casted the traces to String only to make it easier to ask this question (no need post images)
    MonsterDebugger.trace(this, "myXML:" + myXML);
    MonsterDebugger.trace(this, "myXML.sub1: " + myXML.sub1);
    MonsterDebugger.trace(this, "myXML.sub1.sub2: " + myXML.sub1.sub2);
    What I get as output is
    (String) = myXML:<top>
      <sub1 id="uno">
        <sub2>hello</sub2>
        <sub3>world</sub3>
      </sub1>
      <sub1 id="duo">
        <sub2>ok</sub2>
        <sub3>ko</sub3>
      </sub1>
    </top>
    (String) = myXML.sub1: <sub1 id="uno">
      <sub2>hello</sub2>
      <sub3>world</sub3>
    </sub1>
    <sub1 id="duo">
      <sub2>ok</sub2>
      <sub3>ko</sub3>
    </sub1>
    (String) = myXML.sub1.sub2: <sub2>hello</sub2>
    <sub2>ok</sub2>
    All is fine above and this was a bit long abstract for my question. The question is what happens to the root element, in this case <top>? I was trying to access the data with the following notation
    myXML.top.sub1; // etc
    I spent quite a lot of time trying to get it to work, until I discovered that the root element is not used. Can anyone explain this?
    Or, I guess the simple explanation is that the root node is ignored and the sub nodes are created as properties of the object. The question also could be stated as: Why isn't this documented in the Flex API Reference?
    Thanks.

  • Flash CS3: AS3 - ReferenceError #1065 Variable is not defined

    I have developed several actionscript classes. Two of these
    classes are associated with MovieClip objects in the library. The
    MovieClips have their Linkage Base Classes set to their respective
    package and class locations and when I check the Linkage settings
    (using the check mark icon) Flash CS3 reports that it can find the
    associated classes for both MovieClips.
    When I check the syntax of my code there are no problems, and
    when I test the Flash movie no Compile Errors are shown. Yet, in
    the output window I get the following error:
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable class1 is not defined.
    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable class2 is not defined.
    I have placed class1 and class2 in the above error messages
    to represent the classes that are associated with the MovieClip.
    Am I missing an import command somewhere? I have the base
    class path properly set in the preferences of Flash CS3.
    Thanks,

    It appears that this issue was due to some of my classes not
    being marked as public. I had been following examples from AS2 that
    had the classes marked as dynamic without a private or public
    identifier. Apparently, AS3 assumes all unmarked classes are
    private.
