ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG

HI All Gurus,
I need help with this one!
IN our scenario we are using standard program ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG to transfer BP information from SRM to MDM through XI. The problem is in the above report, there is no transfer of BU_ID_NUMBER and we need to send it to MDM.
I looked in the program, but it does not have the capability to transfer the BU_ID_NUMBER. I have tried looking for notes on this one...
HAs anyone experienced anything similar to this, or where u had to customize ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, because i need transfer many fields from SRM to MDM.
When I debuged the program ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG i found that only 3 fields are sent to MDM (BP no. BP GUID and ORG_NAME1) am i rigth????????? and i think i need to copy the program and change it adding the fields that i need.

Enhance ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG

Hi I am working on SRM 7.0 and I want to add some custom fields for the extract of Supplier going to MDM.
The program used is "ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG ".
Is there any BADI/Enhancement spot to enhance the extract?

I don't think there are BAdIs or explicit enhancement points for this program. However, you could always try to use the implicit enhancement point. Go to the source code where you want to enhance and go to menu Edit -> Enhancement Operations -> Show Implicit Enhancement Operations. There you could see at the beginning and ending of a form routine, there are implicit enhancement spots.

Region wise Repository for SRM MDM

Hi,
We are in Migration of CCM to MDM.
In CCM we have so many catalogs.
So we are creating 3 repostoteries in MDM based up on the region.
Can any pls let me know the how the supplier data can be replicated to MDM ?
we dont have XI.
Please let me know is there any jobs to replicate.

Hi Venkat.
Supplier can be replicated from SRM to MDM through ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG report.
Also through MDMGX report you can configure the supplier table information fields to send to MDM.
If you are looking for replicating records from CCM to MDM, if you can export the records in XML then you can import it to MDM through MDM Import Manager.

Replicating Products/Catalog from SRM to MDM

I am implimenting SRM and MDM on 7.1 and SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0
I wanted to replicate catalog data from SRM. As we know each catalog record in MDM contains Product, Supplier, Info record data. I am not sure if we have to map all these in MDM or It will be mapped by SAP delivered content for replication.
I am using BBP_CCM_TRANSFER transaction in SRM to transfer data to MDM. In the selection screen I am using 'Category Hierarchy', Category ID and Language fields. I did unchek/check Force Intial Transport and P_debug. There was not much difference.
However I am getting following info messages, but unable to see any data in MDM
16.06.2010 09:27:41: Initial transfer for catalog SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG
16.06.2010 09:27:42: Determine category TELEPHONE (5 products)
16.06.2010 09:27:42: Start of catalog transfer for 1
16.06.2010 09:27:42: catalog transfer ended
I am now stuck here. Can any one share details of the replication process and steps involved.

Please explain your business scenario. What data you want to replicate from SRM to MDM. We can replicate Suppliers, Contracts and Product Master from SRM to MDM through XI. Make sure you hae configured XI settings for that. You have to download the pre-delivered XI content from SAP Markeplace. Please check Note # 1177779 & 1177780 regarding that.
We can use following reports in SRM to replicate following data in MDM
BBP_CCM_Transfer_Catalog-----Product master
ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG-----Supplier data
SRMMDM_CTR_Transfer----Contract data from SRM
In your case, you are running BBP_CCM_TRANSFER. Please check the SXMB_MONI t-code to monitor the XML messages whether XML files are processing correctly or getting stuck.

XI configuration scenario

Hi All,
I am trying to use the SRM-XI-MDM integration scenario,but for the time being instead of sending product list,supplier list to MDM , i am sending them to a temporary file server in an ERP,for which i have an ftp user.
I ran the report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG (to transfer vendor list) in SRM and the vendor list is transferred via an IDOC to XI. I have configured a communication channel to send this vendor list to my file server from XI, but i am unable to see the XML file of vendor list in my file server.
Kindly let me know how to proceed.
Also there are no errors in XI. I can see a chequered flag in sxmb_moni of my XI system.

Hi Nikhil,
I am not very sure about roles but some J2EE adapter engine role might be required. Also try with SAP ALL role.

Message is not going to XI in SRM- MDM scenario

hello,
We are doing SRM_MDM scenario.
We have installed SRM-MDM Catalog 2.0 Business Contents on XI.
But i couldn't see any Outbound Interface in these standard contents.
I want xsd for CatalogPublicationRequest_Out.............. where will i get that (transaction) ???
Also when i execute the Report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG in SRM, I could see my message( CatalogPublicationRequest_Out ) in SXMB_MONI of SRM.
But its not going to XI...............I can't see it in SXMB_MONI of XI.
That message in MONI of SRM have Sender but Receiver field is blank.
May be because of this is it not going to XI.
Please tell me the steps that i need to follow.
Help will be highly appreciated.............. its urgent

Sap has shipped the preconfigured proxies for the transaction.
ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG.
you can get the complete business Pack and related docs for SRM_MDM Catalog on the Service market place.
you need to Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository
For that Place PI content file (XI_7_0_SRM_MDM_CATALOG_1.0_00_00.tpz) in directory /usr/SAP/xid/sys/global/xi/repository_server/import. This Content file can be found in Business content Import of PI Business Content for SRM-MDM Catalog in Integration Repository.
But first before importing above file.
You have to configure SLD Connections in which:
1.Defining Technical System for SRM Server, MDM and SAP PI.
2.Creating Business systems for SRM, PI and MDM
u also need to do Configuring Setup for ABAP Proxies:
1. use Transaction SM59 for creating RFC destination for HTTP( TYPE H) where u Specify Host Name of the PI server, Service Number and Path Prefix in Technical Settings tab.
2. u also need to configure SRM System as Local Integration Engine. For this enter transaction SXMB_ADM .

SRM -MDM Catalog Implementation

Hi All,
I am currently working on SRM-MDM catalog implementation and would like to clear a few queries regarding the same:
1. What are the different possible ways to transfer data from SRM to MDM?
2. In the configuration guide it is mentioned that if you want to send Contract, InfoRecords, Product Data then we have to use XI. Communication between SRM and XI will be using XI protocol. It means we have to create outbound proxy for triggering data from SRM to XI.
Is this correct please confirm. If yes do we have a standard proxy report to do the same.
3. In the Functional Documentation Guide for SRM-MDM catalog it is mentioned that to send contract data from SRM use transaction SRMMDM_CTR_TRANSFER. but though it shows the contract data, it is not able to send data to XI. Is some setting required for sending data to XI?
4. In Functional Documentation Guide for SRM-MDM catalog it is mentioned that to upload Supplier Data from SRM system to SRM MDM Catalog repository use Report ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG. But while executing this report I m getting exception "Function module "BUPA_MWX_BDOC_BPS_FILL_CENTRAL" not found.".
How do I solve this?

Hi Shiv,
you can use the import Manger of MDM to upload XML, CSV XSL data files
The connection from SRM to SRM-MDM is done via OCI 4.0.
If you want to replicate data from your backend R/3 system you have to use XI.
2. Please Refer to the installation guide of SRM-MDM there the connection between Backends and XI is expalained in detail.
3-4 . Have you depoyed every file of the istallation there is also a part to be deployed in SRM?
