Routine in Infopackage not working

Hi all..
I wrote a routine in Infopackage with the selection Abap routine 6. for some reason the code is not selecting..i mean if the code has to get fisc year 2007, instead its getting all the records from all the years. i tested out the code in abap se38, it works fine, the function module is working fine, i am missing something here in infopackage, can anyone please let me know.
Here is the code.

The FM takes the input as 010 and gets all the records related to that..which is 2007 year records instead its getting all the records from all years..please help me.

Check the monitor to see what values are entered as the restrictions in the infopackages for fiscal year. if the correct values don't show up in the monitor you know the routine is the problem and not a system bug.
Also, you may want to consider doing a range if the multiple single values isnt working.

InfoPackage not working

Hi Guys;
I have this infopackage to load the data into my daily process chain. I have also worte the code to delete the all the previous request excepts the last day of the period in the Infopackage. This is working perfect; the issue is I have the another process chain which runs weekly on sunday and this infopackage has also been included in this process chain. when the process chain run on sunday this is not deleting the friday's load. Is this mean; it works only if the process chain is same?
What I am missing here? Anyone pls.

It's not the independent code, there is an option in the infopackage under the data target tab; where you can write the code to delete the request.
But I am using the same infopackage on my both process chain. It works fine with one process chain but it doesn't delete if the load is from different process chain. HOpe I made it clear.

Why is routine update is not working?

For several days now I have had difficulty opening Firefox. It seems to be taking a long time to open. When it eventually responds I usually get a window headed: "Update failed". The window reads: "There were problems checking for, downloading or installing this update. Firefox could not be updated because: The Update could not be installed (patch apply failed). You can update Firefox manually by vistiing this link and downloading the latest version: http://www.firefox.com
The link takes me to a Firefox for Android page. I am working from a desktop.
I have tracked it down to a file called updater.exe (from memory) that is in a file called 0. When I delete this file it is quickly redownloaded and continues to cause a problem.
How can I get rid of it?
And does it have anything to do with the disappearance of my Norton toolbar?

NAT is Strict/Mod, multiple xboxs, at my wits end with routine TS'ing not working....

Problem:
Network test always shows NAT as Moderate or Strict.
Question:
How do I get the Xbox consoles to get an OPEN NAT?
Troubleshooting I have done:
I have opened ports 53,80,88,3074 to static console IP (per standard advice) still shows as strict or moderate in console network test, or in multiplayer lobbies (like shown in GoW2)
UPnP is enabled.
Router firewall is disabled.
DHCP both ON and Off (static IPs for consoles)
Network topography:
Comcast coming into an ARRIS (DOCIS 2.0) Touchstone Telephony Modem (HW Rev 32)
Linksys WRT310N router connects to Modem
Connected devices (on Router):
3 Xbox 360 consoles connected to Router (2 wired, 1 wireless)
1 Wii connected wirelessly
3 Laptops (wireless), 1 PC wired
3 smartphones (wireless)
Complications as I see them:
1. Port forwarding seems to be out, as you can only port forward to a single IP device, and I need open NAT on all 360 consoles.
2. DMZ will only open a single address/single device
3. Port Range Triggering on the Router is GREYED OUT! I cannot turn on Port Range triggering!

Flattened the network completely. Everything to defaults.
Router Frmwr is 2.0.01bld4 (latest).
Started with all factory defaults
Xbox1 on wired Network test comes up OPEN
brought Xbox2 up on the wired network, comes up Moderate.
there are no other devices on the wired/wireless network. NONE!
Switched network cables/locations of Xbox 1 and Xbox 2.
Brought up Xbox1, network test shows OPEN on swithced location
Brought up Xbox2, network test shows Moderate on swithced location
Both Xboxs are fully updated, as both connect to Xbox LIVE, so console dash/firmware software isn't an issue.
absolutely befuddled here....
Brought up the wireless network, added all the remaining wireless devices, and Xbox1 still connnects as OPEN. I guess that's some serious progress so far.....

Some Javascript still not working in 3.6.15

I reported this for 3.6.14 but it's still a problem in 3.6.15, so I'm posting this separately to ensure it is seen by the FF tech folks. Onload Javascript routine is still not working when the page reloads, yet the reset button that runs the same script does work. Onload also works in IE8, so this is a Firefox bug. This is a problem for my website's order form, so I hope this can be fixed soon!

I've recently come across a reoccurring problem with Javascript hyperlinks at various websites, and it's become quite an irritant.
I encountered the problem for the first time at allclassical.org, at their Listen Now tab at the top of the page.
This is the relevant code in the source:

Clicking the link does nothing. The problem is not restricted to allclassical.org; I've noticed the problem at other sites as well. Anywhere there's an onClick link, the content behind it is unobtainable.
This is the first time I've ever had a serious (seriously exasperating, anyhow) problem with Firefox...and I've been using it since back when it was Netscape. Something weird is going on.
I really don't think it's my system at fault. I've just got through reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling my OS. Afterwards I noted that initially the Listen Now tab at AllClassical was working, but after installing Java Runtime Environment and other software the problem represented itself.
I'm running WinXP w/ SP3 on a relatively new Gigabyte AMD (Phenom II X2) system, with 4 GB of Corsair memory.
I really wish this problem could be solved. Firefox is my favorite browser, mainly due to how bookmarks are allowed to be handled.

End Routine Code not Working after Support Pack Upgrade

We have recently upgraded to SPS17 (BW SP19) for our production system and the code deriving the values of several attributes in the end routine of the transformation for one InfoObject (as info provider) does not work anymore. We have been trying to identify the root cause but the fact is that we did not change anything to the InfoObject and its transformation and this used to work fine. The strange thing is that when we debugged the code we could see the value of the aforementioned attributes was derived correctly but the value is just not updated to the InfoObject where we still see the old values for these attributes.
We have a similar InfoObject with the same end routine code in the transformation and it is working fine. We are out of idea what could have caused this during the SP upgrade.

Cannot say what might have caused it but one check you can perform.
Open your transformation in change mode and you can see a button next to create end routine button, titled ' Update Behavior of End Routine Change', click on that and say all fields.

Customer Exit variable and Filter routine in DTP does not works?

Does anyone know what might be the possible reason - A customer exit variable working fine on the OLAP side does not work in a DTP??

1. CLEAR l_t_range-high. is missing in your code befor assigning values to l_t_range.
2. use simple append l_t_range after the l_t_range asisgnments. remove below code :
if l_idx 0.
modify l_t_range index l_idx.
else.
append l_t_range.

3. I dont think you need to assign infoobject.
4. Clear sel_period and zperiod is also missing
Hence your code should be :

Field symbols not working in data transfer VOFM routine

Hi,
I have been trying to set a value using field symbols, however for some reasons its not working. I am using a field symbol in a data transfer routine and the value which I am trying to set is a standard field outside the VOFM routine code.
I am trying to set a field gla_subrc which is actually a changing parameter.
The actual paramter is gn_subrc of type sy-subrc and within the form the name is gla_subrc. I need to set this changing parameter gla_subrc using the data transfer routine.
Is there a specific rule that field symbols dont work for changing paramters within subroutine or is there a specific syntax.
The syntax I am using is
ASSIGN ('(SAPLV50S)gla_subrc') to <fs>.
I also used the local program name instead of main program but still that does not work. Tried using the actual parameter as well.
Can someone please help me in this.

I need to stop outbound delivery creation against STO using vl10b transaction. The only way to stop creation is using data transfer delivery VOFM routine.
If i give an error message MESSAGE E001, this will give a hard error which is not acceptable. To avoid this, i use a perform message statment with message id and certain parameters which can displayed in a log.
However to make sure this message is displayed in log, I am clearing a work area having specific data needed for delivery creation.
Because of this clear, my error message gets captured in log but along with this another fake message is displayed in log which caused by the clear message.
The user gets confused as he now sees 2 messages, 1 which is correct and other 1 which is fake and that confuses him.
Data transfer routine is not the best place to give messages in log but we have very few options. The only way the system can give 1 message is if i set gla_subrc to 1. This is a variable which will help the system understand that the delivery should not be created as there is something wrong because the value is 1. Hence it will stop the creation and instead display whatever message i had passed to the log.
I need to somehow set this variable to 1 based on lot of analysis that has been done in the past.
Please let me know if there is any way by which we can fix this.

This is not working. There is not error during data load. But Plant is blank. I have this code in production and there are data in relevant data.

hi,
if its a pricing rountine compare it with DEV and quality if all the step numbers are mathcing properly. Just check if the transport has moved with all required requests, check routine version management. Finally if you feel everything is in place, the it might that the routine is checking for some master data or config data which should be missing that the routine is failing to trigger.

DTP filter routine is not working

I am working with BI 7 and I have created following filter'routine in the DTP.
But the routine is not filtering.

is not working. sy-tabix = 0
Fieldname is really CLEAR_DATE

Try adding the following:
l_t_range-fieldname = 'CLEAR_DATE'.
to your code:
l_t_range-low = w_date_low.
l_t_range-high = w_date_high.
l_t_range-sign = 'I'.
l_t_range-option = 'BT'.
And at the end append/modify like this:

I did a search on my system and found the Photoshop has a fastcore plug-in. Creative Cloud includes a subscription version of CS6 version 13.1.2. I do not know if you installed that or not. The cc un-install may have done something. You may need to use Adobe Cleaner then Install The Perpetual CS6 version of Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.6 Mac or Photoshop CS6 version 13.0.1.3 PC and not the subscription CS6 extended version 13.1.2. Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 If you need to download the CS6 installer Download CS6 products.
You may also be able to recover your cs6 using an old system backup

Process chain - After error ABAP - trigger a metachain start does not work.

I have a process chain, where after an ABAP runs into red (ERROR MESSAGE triggered), another process type, like start a new meta-chain, or start an infopackage starts.... But is does not work. After i go to logs, it asks me whether i want to trigger the following jobs, if i choose yes, it works. But i need to start it automatically, when the ABAP Routine has an error message (RED) in the chain.
Any idea, because I tried to solve it all the day, but i did not manage to get itwork...

the problem is not the ABAP Program.
I have the following situation:
A Metachain contains as second step a call of local chain. After the local chain, according to the status of it (green o red), we have other different steps. So we have two different link (red and green) starting from the local process chain step.
Inside the local process chain there is the ABAP program that check several parameters and if something is not as expected fails with status red. if this situation happens, the local process chain becomes red and in SM37 inside the job i see the error that i forced, but the status is not triggered to the first metachain , so the corresponding following steps are not triggered.
This issue happens only if fails the ABAP program because, for example, a Infopackages loading fails every thing works and the corresponding steps in the metachain are executed.
In the ABAP program in order to force the status red we have the following code:
MESSAGE e162(00) WITH 'Status' 'Red'.
Any idea?

ABAP Routine in InfoPackage for selection

Hello,
I have 2 InfoPackages for loading from ODS1 to ODS2. InfoPackage 1 is restricted via ABAP Routine to load only certain customer numbers.
InfoPackage 2 is supposed to load all other customer numbers - therefore the ABAP Routine makes ranges that exclude the customer numbers selected in InfoPackage 1.
Now I face the fact that the selection of InfoPackage 2 is much to small in numbers. Problem is, the ranges only work when entered manually - but via ABAP entry these ranges don`t work. I can`t understand why this problem happens. Do you have an idea?
Example (first number is from, 2nd number is to)
InfoPackage 1: customer numbers
5| 5
100|100
999|999
InfoPackage 2: customer numbers
0|4
4|99
101|998
1000|99999
But selection of InfoPackage 2 does not work propberly...

no, that was just a typing mistake. Sorry.
The problem is, that in Monitoring I can see the selection and it looks good.
But when I check the number of datasets selected it is far to small. Therefore I don`t believe the selection works.
I tried manually to put all the ranges selected by ABAP Routine in InfoPackage 2 in another InfoPackage 3 - the selection is identically to InfoPackage 2 (but not made via ABAP, but manually) and in Monitoring the selection looks absolutly alike.
But the manuall InfoPackage 3 selects far more records than InfoPackage 2.
I can`t understand the problem. Can you? Can you give me advice?
