Routing of emails with valid Service Ticket Tracking Text

Hi Experts,
System: SAP CRM 2007 (ERMS)
If an email is send to the ERMS system with a valid Service Ticket Tracking Text, based on the rule:
If
Service Ticket Responsible Is Not Equal To ""
Then
Route to Service Ticket Responsible ( Route To (On Exception) = "" )
The email can be routed to the Service Ticket Responsible of the Service Ticket or a default org.
My requirement is to route the email with a valid Service ticket tracking text to the Responsible Org (Service Employee Group) of the Service Ticket.
How can this be made possible. Can any one guide me with the Steps.

Hi Namita,
I was trying to simulate your condition and i thought the following could be useful to you.
You validate your tickets based on "Text" for them to be put into the ERMS --(Is it true?)
and then you want the service ticket responsible org to be intimated about the ticket
while selecting the action/parameters --> You will need to add the entry Route E-mail , this will give you the organization unit object .
At the back end in the service manger profile the service id for this is -->AH_ROUTE and the class is CL_CRM_ERMS_AH_ROUTE
There should be an enhancement written in this class for the identification of the Responsible org unit partner function org so that it gets identified as the org to be intimated about the ticket.
The other way is to add the service FG_SVCTKT to your service manger profile(guess it should be the default one) so that then you can check for the Actions/parameters to assign the partner function holding the responsible org data.

    Hello Malay,
    Even though you clearly mention "I want a list of all those service tickets", I think you really mean that you want the list of sent emails. Is this correct?
    If so, I would say SOST is really the plce for it.
    Now if you really want the list of service tickets, then you need to share what triggers those emails and how the tickets are created from them.

  • New email with selection Services problem

    When I select text and choose "New email with selection" under Services, at least half the time, a new Mail message window opens, blank.  Then, that blank Message window stays open, can't be closed, and the only way I can get out of it is to Force Quit Mail.  I had (and often reported) this same problem under previous OS X versions, and have been hoping that it would be fixed in Yosemite, but not yet!

    Standard Apple Mail. I'm running Yosemite 10.10.1, and I'm amazed to see that About Mail says it's Mail Version 8.1 (1993), copyright 1995-2014 Apple Inc. 
    Interesting thought, do you think that it doesn't like to work with itself?  Actually, I'm fairly sure I've had the problem inside of other apps but I should document that.  I'll keep notes to see where this happens.

    I haven't tested it , but escalation in Service Ticket will be similar to any other escalation(like complaint escalation) where we can change the employee responsible as well as responsible group based on certain pre-defined rules and set of conditions.
    The rules and conditions are defined by IC managener in Rule Modeler and when we click on escalate, if the service ticket satisfies the conditions defined in the rule, then the responsible employee and responsible group  field is changed according to the rule.
    This scenario can be used when a call center agent doesn;t know what to do with the service ticket and simply escalate it so that it is assigned to proper group and employee based on the service ticket data.

  • Unlinking an InteractionRecord from a Service Ticket.

    Hi Gurus,
    I would like to find out if it is be possible to remove the link between an InteractionRecord and a Service Ticket? In our scenario whenever we create a service ticket an interaction record will be created automatically along with the service ticket. But it is not happening all the times. Some times Interaction record won't be created along with the service ticket. Can any one tell me why this happens like this?

Actually what happens in our case is whenever we open a Service Ticket in IC, sometimes all the servicetickets comes under business context of a service ticket. Can you tell me why the service tickets comes under business context of a service ticket.Can any one tell me how to restrict the service tickets under business context when I open a service ticket?

  • Auto-open 'Completed' Service ticket based on tracking text in email...

    When sending out e-mails we embed a so called tracking number into the end of the e-mail text saying something like:
    DO NOT DELETE ***
         Ticket No. [[1234567]]
    DO NOT DELETE ***
    This is pretty common, I believe, and how this is achieved is documented in a number of places.
    However, if a client responds to an old email containing a tracking number then the e-mail is attached to a 'Completed' service ticket, but the agent responsible will not be aware of this as it might not show in their Inbox.
    An agent regularly tracks new e-mails so will pick up on this, but then has to re-open the service ticket before the agent responsible (ususally another agent) can see it and respond.
    What I would like to achieve is to automatically have ERMS re-open the service ticket that the new e-mail is assigned to. In this way the agent responsible will be notified immediately and there is no manual intervention required, as such.
    Has anyone done anything like this before?.

    Hi Gary,
    We have done something very similar to this. Here is how we achieved it:
    1. Create your own class using the standard Action Handling classes as a guide (you can find these in SPRO: Customer Relationship Management > E-Mail Response Management System > Service Manager > Define Service). You need to use Interface IF_CRM_ERMS_SERVICE.
    You can retreive the Service Ticket number from the Fact Base as follows:
    service_manager->factbase->get_by_xpath( '/parts/context/stkt/number/text()' )
    You then just need to get the guid and run the following two function modules to update the status of the Service Ticket and save:
    CRM_STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN_OW
    CRM_STATUS_SAVE_OW
    2. In SPRO: Customer Relationship Management > E-Mail Response Management System > Service Manager > Define Services create your own custom Service with Service Type Action Handling and reference the Class you created.
    3. in SPRO: Customer Relationship Management > E-Mail Response Management System > Service Manager > Define Repository under Context ERMS add a new Action and enter the Action Service ID created previously.
    4. Amend your default ERMS rule policy in the Rule Modeller, and add a new rule with the new Action based on any conditions you want to use.
    5. Before testing first run program CRM_ERMS_REGEN_RULES to regenerate your rule policy (you need to do this if the repository is changed)

    If I understood correct its a short text at it will be saved in STXH, you need to find out with ur Functional person for the Text id and text object... else as the previous response run the trace you can find it ur self...
    you can use read_text FM with Text related info.

    Hi Virginia,
    You need to pre-configure some rules based on which you route service tickets.Login with IC manager role in CRM 2007.There you go to Process Modeling->Rule Polciy->Create rules.
    Here you create rule for Context=Order Routing.
    Rule will be something like-If transaction type=service ticket and employee responsible = Virginia, then route to 'XYZ'.
    I have done similar thing for Complaints.

    I have been a long time faithful customer of vzw and although the past year I have been late on payments many times and really couldn’t afford your exorbitant prices for services lots of other companies offer sometimes three times cheaper than what you charge, I have hung in there trying my best to meet my obligations.
    This month has been no exception. You don’t know the background; the whole story of people’s lives. I know you could care less because all you care about is the profit-the money that comes in.
    I was told when I agreed to pay my bill on the third per the recorded message that I had 14 days to pay…you cut me off anyway. The phones are not the tissue; your suspending my service means I cannot work. I may lose my job…how do you justify that? In any case? The least you could do would be to keep 4986 on and cut the phones off. But no. You refuse to compromise and meet the basic needs of your customer. What does that say about your company? I tried to call back on three separate occasions to tell you I couldn’t pay because of unexpected expenses but couldn’t get out of the automated system…sadly couldn’t get to a real person which also speaks volumes to me.
    All this tells me this is a company I don’t wish to be affiliated with any more. As soon as I can, I will discontinue service with you…I know you could care less. I will honor the remaining portion of the contract but that’s it. You don’t deserve my business. I am a good, hardworking person who, at the sacrifice of myself and my needs, always pays her bills…albeit late at times. I realize others tell you stories and lies to justify themselves. That’s not me. If you knew what I had been through the last 7 yrs you would marvel that I am  still on my feet…don’t judge too quickly. You could be wrong…and in my eyes you are by doing this to me.
    God will see us through this extremely scary time of that I have no doubt. No thanks to your company and lack of understanding and mercy. I am doing the best I can. Sadly you are not.
    See I have choices. MANY choices of providers for services you offer. I don’t have to be treated like this. I don’t have to succumb to your coldness and callousness. I intend to choose better (and cheaper). If your company doesn’t get the “people factor” back you will be sorry.

    Problem here is you admit you cannot afford the service.
    And you want to blame Verizon for losing a job because you have no cell phone.
    If your job depends on that phone I would pay it on time every time if you need a job to pay your bill.
    No other service is going to treat you any different. And if you cannot afford Verizon's monthly invoice how are you going to afford new devices, activation fees, possible security deposits on any other cellular carrier? You can't.
    Also if you made an arraignment to pay and then decide you cannot do so, why should Verizon extend you service or credit, or why is it you want to use the service and data and not pay for it as agreed.
    Get a prepay phone. Its evident the cost is too high for you to afford on post pay.

I keep getting kicked off and getting a ! in my airport. Last time it happended I called apple and the suggested I wipe my HD and reinstall everything. I did and it did not work. One day I turned my laptop on and it connected no problem. Now it has kicked me off again. I tried resetting my IP address but that does not work either! Has anyone had this problem?

    Try this:
    Apple menu / System Preferences / Network.
    Click Location: and select Edit Locations..
    Click + (plus sign), and enter a name for the new location - anything will do.
    Apply this.

    A number of values are however not correct or missing entirely.

    We've implemented a requisite very similiar to yours in version 4. We've created a new class, to a new ERMS service, to be added in our ERMS profile manager.
    The way we filled the service ticket categorization was by doing the following:
    Each node at category modeler must be associated to a subject code (combination of technical fields katalogartcodegruppecode). So, all you have to do when you're creating a new service ticket is to indicate your subject code to CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN importing parameter: it_service_os.
    Something like this:
      ls_subject-ref_handle = gv_handle.
      ls_subject-katalogart = iv_katalogart. "KATALOGART
      ls_subject-codegruppe = iv_codegruppe. "CODEGRUPPE
      ls_subject-code = iv_code.             "CODE

    Then all you have to do is to use internal table gt_service_os as it_service_os at CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN.

    I am using CRM 5.0. I just forgot that Categorization profile can be used for the same.
    I have configured the categorization profile for the same and its working fine.
    One more thing -
    I want to create an Appointment with Customer for problem resolution at the Customer Site. I want to assign Resorces to the Appointment so that the responsible resource is notified and sent to the Customer Site for Visit.
    Can you pls guide me on the same?

  • Problem with getting a service ticket - ignoring host name?

    Your DNS server should have an entry for this host name in its reverse lookup table.

    I've posted this before, but got no replies so I'm trying again since it's driving me crazy. It was a problem under Mavericks and still exists under Yosemite's Mail.
    When I select text and then go to the Services menu and pick "New email with selection," much of the time a totally empty new email message window opens , won't let me type in it at all, nor will it close or send. It just sits there until I Force Quit Mail.
    HELP PLEASE!!!

  • PHP email form with Validation - not working

    I am new to using php. I usually use coldfusion or asp but this site requires me to write in php. I have a form I am trying to get to work and right now.. it doesn't do anyhting but remember what you put in the fields. It doesn't want to send, and it won't execute the validation script for the fields that are required. Can anyone help me make this work? I'm confused and a definate newbie to PHP.

    It seems pretty simple.. but it's not working at all. I would also like this page to submit to it's self, and when it actually does send an email, to just make the form disappear and replace it with the thank you text instead of sending you to another page. I also do not need to use an smtp server, it goes directly to the network server when sent.
    I'm really sorry to ask all of this, I'm trying to learn this language and need to make this work.

    You can't do bold text in a normal email. Plain text is just
    that -
    plain text. For anything more you need HTML. _If_ you should

    Usually plain text serves pretty well and is the most

    You would have to create an entire HTML email with all the
    required
    headers and boundaries. Quite difficult to do by hand with
    PHP's mail()
    function.

    Then you should start simple with plain text. There are some
    classes out
    there which make it easy to generate text and HTML emails
    (phpmailer for
    example), but you should be familiar with PHP coding if you

    Hi Ap type    AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9 WiSM2 ver 7.4.121.0 when adding 2600 AP's they are finding the controller and downloading. they then reboot and start the prosess again and continue to do this. see attached text file showing the output from the consol
