Where to Configure Service Ticket "Reason" & "Subject" field with new value

Hi Friends - I am working on IC Webclient Service Ticket. I want to Configure the "Reason" field as well as the "Subject" field in Service Ticket with new Values as per our requirement.
I could not find any Configuration object for the above mentioned customizing in the CRM > SPRO.
Can you pls guide me where I can configure the same?

I am using CRM 5.0. I just forgot that Categorization profile can be used for the same.
I have configured the categorization profile for the same and its working fine.
One more thing -
I want to create an Appointment with Customer for problem resolution at the Customer Site. I want to assign Resorces to the Appointment so that the responsible resource is notified and sent to the Customer Site for Visit.
Can you pls guide me on the same?

    I have the JSP pages which used to be working in Safra 5.1.3. There is a hidden field: mac, submitted to and from this JSP page.
    Page A submits "mac" with value1, backend a java action received this value and change it to value2 after some calculation, value2 is set to page B. I can see the hidden field "mac" contains value2 in page B. But when I submit page B, the value being transmitted is still value1.
    I tested to change this field to a visible text field rather a hidden one. The value being passed will be the correct one: value2.
    Other browsers except Safari 5.1.5 do not have such strange behavior. 
    Is there any solution for this problem apart from changing my form filed names?

    you can only list what was stored.
    changes in values for a characteristic can be monitored in CL20N via menu Environment > Change documents
    change history for classification is only stored if you activated this.

    I am trying to find out the best way to do a mass edit for the "Managed by" values of our security and distribution groups.
    I know we can export the "managed by" field by csvde but I am not sure this is the correct way to do it. Also in the case that there are multiple users assigned to be managing a distribution group it only shows one value. Also powershell from Exchange
    2010 can be used with "get-distribution" but as our AD environment is 2003 is this correct also?
    Finally once the data is exported to csv can it be edited to then reimport and udpate the existing group managed by fields with new values?
    Not really sure that the best way to go about this is.
    Summary - We have 2003 AD with Exchange 2010 and I am trying to export a list of all our Distribution/Security groups showing the group name and managedby values so we can edit and update the
    existing managedby values with new ones. In some cases we have multiple users as the owners.

    We can use the following command in Exchange 2010 to export "Managed by" field of Distribution and Security groups:
    Get-DistributionGroup | Select-object Name,@{label="ManagedBy";expression={[string]::join(“;”,$_.managedby)}},Primarysmtpaddress | Export-Csv
    C:\export.csv
    After you changed the Managed by field in export.csv and saved it as a new file named import.csv, we can run the following command to set with new value:
    Import-Csv C:\import.csv | Foreach-Object{ Set-DistributionGroup –Identity $_.Name –ManagedBy $_.ManagedBy}

    I also have added the fields which have to be taken into consideration.

    Additonally it should be fine whether it is possible to disable the second input field
    of this select options field like NO INTERVALS .

    go to SUIM > roles > roles by complexselection criteria>
    under the selection according to authorization values give the object's  form SU53 screen and press enter it will asks the values for given object pass the values as per the SU53 and execute it will give the list of roles.... capture the roles. The user gets access if you give the any one of the listed roles is assigned, assign the role as per your approval process.

    I need 'SPML Web Service Complex Data Type' to hold multiple values.And based on the request it has to initiate appropriate method of action.
    Presently i have three methods add,modify and delete which i am calling through a single value of the "name" attribute of the "complexType" element in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type.
    I want to replace this single value with multiple menthods , so that a direct interaction between the method,OIM and target can be established.

    You'll need to create your own interface to the webapp database for those kind of data operations
    by this, are you speaking of the internal BC database which stores web app schema data? That would be great if it were possible to update that programmatically because I need to use the List (Checkbox List) field type (for the search functionality), but I need to supply the checkbox options from a web app rather than by manually updating the list entered in the Fields view of the web app settings (shown below).
    I'm curious if anyone else has tried this?
    Again, my reason for needing to use the List (Checkbox List) field type is that the page which processes searches knows to expect a comma separated list for this field type and then appears to be parsing out the individual values for searching out web app items with 1 or more matching values. You're right that text fields (string and multiline) just check for 'string contains' matches, and this would be ok if I was only ever needing to search just one value at a time. Here's an example of what I might do:
    Web App item field value (as recorded against the List (Checkbox List) field type:
    8294877,8294878
    Web App Search value (for this same field):
    8294879,8294877,8294885
    The search would return this web app item because the field contains 2 (1 or more) individual values even though they were entered into the search field in a different order. If this web app item were just a Text (string or multiline) field, the searched value is not a substring of the web app item's stored value, so it would not find a match. Hence the need to use Checkbox List field type.
    The web app will have thousands if not 10s of thousands of records, so dumping them all into one big array or object and searching on the front-end won't be practical (though it works great on smaller datasets).

  • Change UI configuration dynamically when ever user selects a new value in a drop down field in WebUI

    I enhanced the standard activity component (i.e BT126S_APPT ). In this component, in BT126S_APPT/ApptSQ view there is a field 'PROCESS_TYPE' which is a dropdown. I have created a server event for this dropdown. So that whenever user selects a value in that dropdown, a event is called and after that DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION is called. In DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION, I am checking the value of 'PROCESS_TYPE' and based on that i am setting different config keys, by calling SET_CONFIG_KEYS( ). But the configuration is not changing in WebUI. When I press F2 in WebUI its showing the config keys( searched for ) as I set, but the found config keys are same as before. I have created the configuration with the new configuration keys. Please help, I am new to crm.

    The easier option would be to convert the DropDownByKey to DropDownByIndex. If you still want to proceed with DropDownByKey then you need to initialise the ALV data again.  do the following
    1. after changing the attribute-value_set, call the ALV interface controller method SET_DATA and pass the instance of the context node.
    2. reintiliase all the ALV settings like edit mode, converting the column editor to DropDownByKey etc....
    This will ensure the new attribute value set is reflected in the ALV component.

    after many years of field-symbols finally a reason to use MODIFY again

    I try to explain my problem. I created an ALV grid with the function REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY and an internal table.
    The user can change the value of one field and can save it. Indeed, in debbug mode, I can see in the internal table the new value entered by the user. So I can do all the actions with the launch of a routine.
    But the user can forger to save his change. So, when he clicks on "Back" I want to propose him to save. THE PROBLEM : in debbug mode, when the routine is launched, the internal table does't have the new value..
    So have you got an idea to recuperate the new value?

    I had the same problem and solved it: I used SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY.
    The MT_OUTPUT tab has the ALV data and the column in here must be modifed. Steps:

  • How to populate a hidden form field with a value passed from another page

    I'm using PHP/MySQL and DW CS4.
    I am trying to obtain the external key for a table, and include it as a hidden field in a form for a second table.
    The user selects a "need" from a list and is taken to a new page which displays the need selected in the prior page and a form the user can fill out with details of his offer, there should also be a hidden field in this form that contains the index to the needs table, this hidden field holds the external key. Most of the code is working, except for populating the hidden field with the external key. I have proven(by printing it to the screen) that I have obtained the external key and stored it in a variable ($saveNeedId) . What I'm unable to do is assign this variable to the hidden field in the form I'm about to store in a table. Sometimes I get zero and sometimes I get the index to the first need in the table. This ought to be simple but I can't get it to work, I must be missing something obvious - still very new to PHP.
    Here's the code that sets up the variable and prints it to the screen for test purposes

    - OrderTyp
    Has to mapped to Idoc Str E1EDK14-Orgid.
    E.g Mapping:
    So when ShopNo will mapped to E1EDK14-Orgid the default value should be "MOP" & E1EDK14-Qualf should be 019
    and when OrderType will be mapped to E1EDK14-Orgid the default value should be "STD" & E1EDK14-Qualf should be 012
    So I tried of using node "UseOneAsMany".....but there I cant define the vaule of field orgid, and seconly how to specify the values of field Qualf?
    Do i need to write my own specify function ? or I can sovle this issue using standard avaiable functions ?

    I am facing following problem... when I try to duplicate the segment and do mapping....... and then when I save, I got following error msg:
    The source or target structure has been changed or could not be found in the Integration Repository. The mapping definition contains elements or attributes that do not exist in the changed structure. The relevant entries will be deleted
    Target structure has no such path: /ZARVO_ORD/IDOC/E1EDK05[1]/KSCHL. Skipping mapping

    Any suggestion ?
    in other words, when I do duplicate it creates me the segment, but when I save it, it gets disappered .........
