I was trying to load delta records from one ods to the other but got the error
Error generating program
Message no. RSAR245
Diagnosis
An error occurred during program generation:
Template:   GP3V3KRUVT5T42M70OSNDYUTGUV
Error code: RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED
Row:        1,476
Message:    The data object "P_S_COMM" has no component called
Procedure
Correct the template to remove the problem
When I checked the SMQS tcode I am getting the scheduler status inactive for BQ1, BP1 and P01 (R/3 production)
I am doing this activity in quality system of BW.
Please let me know how can the problem be rectified.

Dear All,
We have 2 production systems one is a APO server & the other being BW server.
While checking in SM58 of our APO production server we found that so many entries were in error saying "ERROR REQU_<number> PG# 12 In BW" with target system as BWCLNT<CLIENT NO>.
We checked in both the production systems for any job failure w.r.t same time span but could find nothing.
When we tried to solve this by using F6 option to re-execute the LUW it says "Functional Module doesnot exists or Exception Raised". After doing checks it was found out that the Functional Module (RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED) was existing . So we need to know about how we can solve this EXCEPTION RAISED issue.

Hi,
This migth be problem with not catching exact exception in the code.There might be data you are passing which not getting caught by the exception.
If you are using any code add this FM in the code or else try to debug where exactly u r facing this problem.

Error while loading data through s614

Hi
When I am trying to load data from structure s614..I am getting the Below error..
I have gone through Transact.RFC..there i found that for ALEREMOTE..function module 'RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED'..time limit exceeded..
and also found that job was finished in the source system..
Can any one give some suggestion for this...and also i have a doubt..my client is having table s614 and structure 2lis_01_s614..do i need to run set up to extract data from this table..if it is so,how should i approach......

Errors while sending packages from OLTP to BI
Diagnosis
No IDocs could be sent to BI using RFC.
System Response
There are IDocs in the source system ALE outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of BI.
Further analysis:
Check the TRFC log.
You can access this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In source system".
Error handling:
If the TRFC is incorrect, check whether the source system is fully connected to BI. In particular, check the authorizations of the background user in the source system.

Error Activating the ODS data

Hi Guys,
I am facing an error while activating the data in the ODS.
The data is loading perfectly fine but when activating the ODS data the following error is coming
Request REQU_3ZI9CZ369HR6SM49OL9ULRVKM, data package 000031 incorrect with status 5 in rsodsacstreq
System error occurred (RFC call)
No confirmation for request ODSR_3ZI9DUVOMM02L1I777X5YX9QU when activating the ODS object PA_ODS1
There is no PSA for InfoSource 8PA_OA001 and source system BWPCLNT641 ( The data laod is without PSA )
This is happening after we had a BWQ refresh .
I thought this has something to do with the BASIS guys but they say they checked everything.

There were red requests in the ODS but I deleted them and tried activating the green requests , even when there are only 4 records it is not activating the data.
I checked the RESREQDONE table but I dont see these requests in there.
I checked the SM58 there I saw a lot of errors

PERFORM_PARAMETER_MISSING - continual short dump in BW

Hi All,
I am facing one strange issue.
Few days back there was a failure in delta load of CUSTOMER_TEXT. The load was corrected, but since then every 45 minutes or so I am getting a short dump in the system.
There is no active job in BW or R/3, but it seems there is something triggered in infinite loop, which gives the 2 entries in SM58 and a short dump in every few minutes.
SM58: -
Missing parameter with PERFORM.
ST22: -
Runtime Errors PERFORM_PARAMETER_MISSING
Exception CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLRSAI" - in
"RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED".
The main program was "SAPMSSY1 ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 247
of the (Include) program "LRSAIU06".
The termination is caused because exception "CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING"
occurred in
procedure "RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED" "(FUNCTION)", but it was neither handled
locally nor declared
in the RAISING clause of its signature.
I have no idea how to stop this dump. Can somebody throw some light on this?

Hi Manisha,
I think this is happening because the backgroud job in the source system was not ended.
This is happening because on the day that you deleted the Delta request you have failed to stop the bacground job in the source system.
Just login in the source system SM37 -> Job name as BI* give the date selection and check if there is any active BI job that is available.
If available select and delete it or stop it.This will solve the issue

BW..No more storage space available for extending an internal Table

In function module - RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED
During Data loading from ERP to BW client am getting an error in SM58 in ERP as ""No more storage space available for extending an internal Table "".
There is a dump in BW system   TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED
"".I checked all the parameters for roll area,paging , etc..everything is fine. Also tried with packet size smaller ..still i am getting this error ..

R/3 SM58 - Cleanup

I see in SM58 in the R/3 production system that we have some old entries (target is BW) like:
RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED 23.12.2007 03:38:44 partner not reached (host xxx, service sapgw04)
IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS 23.12.2007 03:38:44 partner not reached (host xxx, service s
The main part is RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED entries - we have only a couple of IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS entries.
We have got all loads from this given day and the following days into the BW system. Some loads failed, but they where repeated and thereby loaded successfully the second time.
A)
It is then safe to delete these entries or should they be repeated?
B)
What happens if they are repeated (the loads for the given day and the following days are successfully)?
C)
Is there anything that I should be aware of regarding my SM58 cleanup?

Thanks for your reply and explanation.
Just want to make sure:
I can delete because it is old entries. In case it was never entries where we had load which was not loaded successfully yet I could not delete (if I did - I would lose data).
Just a follow-up question.
Will new delta data be present in a new LUW? Lets say that the latest delta load for a given area where loaded successfully this morning 09.00.00, would a new LUW have been created containing data from 09.00.01? In case this is correct, then should I would lose data by delete this new LUW.

PROCESS_BCI_ERROR

we are extracting Data from R/3 which is a Delta Update only into PSA.The job finished in the R/3,but a shortdump has occured in BW with following error message.

There are no inbound idocs in queue on BW side.one more thing we have seen in the Transactional RFC( sm58 ) there is a following entry.

when we tried to see function module RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED,it is not found.

Infopackage - load to ODS - status yellow !

Hi everybody,
I am on BI 7.0 and i use Architecture 3.5.
When i transfer data (36000 records about) from a data table to ODS, i obtain for the 2 last days
a problem of loading -
> Status is always yellow.
As concerns TRFC, In transaction sm58, i obtain the following error:
RFC:     RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED
Status: Conversion Error
I have different behaviours following configuration of my InfoPackage when Incorrect Data Records Occur:
   - Valid Records update, reporting possible -
> Status Yellow
   - Valid records update, no reporting       -
> Status Red (few records are wrong)
Have you any ideas ?

Hi,
If your data packets are getting into BW, then check your transfer and update rules, for any routines where the data is getting stuck.
If there are warnings, in the infopackage there is an option for treatment of warnings. Select the radio button as green and then reload the data.
Also suggest you keep an eye on SM50/51/66 to check what's happening with the data load.
Check the size of the data packets. If possible reduce the data size of the packets and see if that helps.
