RSPLAN is not working in Dialoginstance of SAP BI

Hi Experts.
After installing dialog instance for existing sap bi production systems.I could not able to open url for rsplan tcode.
In RSPLAN-->startmodeller it has to open url but in case of my dialog instance it is not working .
It's working in CI of our sap bi system.
could you please suggest me what are the prerequisites needs to be done to solve this problem.
do we need to change anything in visual admin jco rfc ,presently it is configured for specific application server of CI.
Is there anyway we can do loadbalancing for this rfc or do i need to run BI-Templete for additional Dialog instance again.

Please check the settings of SLDAPICUST trnx settings with the CI . Also check SLDCHECK trnx and check if its giving error.

I am currently using the Run OS command after message processing functionality of the file adapter.
However, the unix script doesn't seem to work when run via communication channel.
The script runs properly when executed manually.
The communication channel logs don't show any error as well.

What's puzzling me is that I am able to receive the email alerts.
This means that the user has sufficient authorization to execute the script.
But the unzip command is not working.
I have seen the unzip work when run manually.

Forwarding document (not work item) from specific SAP workflow to Outlook

Hi,
We are looking for ways to forward the email notification of leave approval from SAP inbox to MS Outlook.
One way I know of is to create Auto forwarding in SAP inbox, however this would forward all documents received regardless of the work flow.
Would appreciate it if any one out there could share your experience.

Use program RSWUWFML2. You can get pretty fancy with it to setup wrapper text. I have used it a lot so feel free to ping me with any questions.
What is important to know is normal 'email' forwarding will not send workflow items. I use this every 15 minutes to forward to Outlook and get the users into the Portal to manage the workflow.

SLT not working properly with Non-SAP source

Dear All,
We have MSSQL 2005 as a source. We are doing SLT to load data in HANA.
The issue here is:
MSSQL has an integer field whose default value is set to NULL. However, after doing SLT, data in HANA default data comes as Zeros instead of NULLS.
The issue is with columns with integer datatypes only.
Please help.

And...It doesn't work as I want..my repeater also connect to AP, but didn't give DHCP adressing to him wireless clients..

SAP* user not working in new client

Hi,
I created a new client from SCC4. And now I am trying to login with SAP* user and pass password but it is not allowing. Note provided in SAP Config Guide is not working.
I installed SAP Solution Manager 7.0 SP12 and then created a client.
Please let me know how to solve this issue.

I agree that the issue is probably due to the parameters for the automatic user SAP* - not sure about the Masterpassword though - the newly created client is only an entry in a table at this stage, so I don't think the system will know any password but the hardcoded one...
Something you should be very careful about is the Java-Stack, which is part of SolMan7 and which runs SMD. The Java stack can only interface with one client properly, so I am not sure what's the idea behind the newly created client.

Fixed 30 Days calculation for any month..Not working fine when Split Occurs

Hello Everybody,
I am stuck with an issue..which is creating problem when there is a split..in Normal Conditions it's working fine...Kindly help me out on the same.
We have to calculate the Salary on 30 Days fixed basis and not on calender days...
eg For January Salary will be calculated based on 30 days and not on 31 days and for Feb also on 30 days not on 28/29 days..... Every thing is working fine for normal payroll i.e without any splits..
 But if there are any splits in the month then calculation for 2nd split goes wrong ....
 Eg. person is hired on 02feb 2007 and he got re-org on 17 feb 2007 with basic as rs.10000
As per Clients requrement it should be calculated as :
for period 2nd Feb 2007 - 16th Feb 2007 : 10000 * 15/30 : Working Fine in SAP
for period 17th Feb 2007 - 28th Feb 2007 : 10000* 14/30 : Not Working Properly In SAP calculation is done as 10000*12/30
We want it to calculate as 10000* 14/30
Kindly let me know wat can be done :
1 How can i write PCR..if that needs to be change
2. If user exit then how shall i go about the same
if some body has any 3rd option let me know...

Command line in text module is not working

Hi ,
I have the follwoing if condition inside the text module (smartform)
but the if statement is not working.
/:     IF &T001-BUKRS& = '0201'.
        please ignore
/:     ENDIF.
it is not checking for company code and printing the text.
Please let me know what is causing this issue ?(T001-BUKRS has data in the smartform)

In Smartforms texmodule command line will not work iam sure ,
like checking some condition what you mentioned in the above will not work
if it is SAP Script it will work

SAP Mobile app Stock photo not work for network location

Hi Experts
I found if we use network location path (e.g.
servername\pic folder\) in SAP Business One General Settings -> Path, Picture Folder, then if we logon SAP B1 Mobile app from iPad/iPhone, and try to open stock photo, we will get error:
Processing Failed
Internal server error: contact your system administrator
It looks like it only work for local path, e.g C:\pic
Even we put path as :
local pc name\pic folder, it is also not work.
Any idea about this?

The first link is a temporary fix for a machine that only one or two people will use. This will not fix the Library Machines that some 3000 users can use at anytime. I can not pre-add all these users every time we image a machine. We also loan out laptops and I need these machine to wirelessly login dynamically to the domain. But I also need these machine to allow access if these machine are removed from our campus and the wireless access is not available.
Thank again for the help and I hope someone at Apple can fix this soon. I going to have a hard time telling the client that thay can not use the OS that came with they're machine.

ITS is not working after the Upgrade to SAP ECC 6.0

When I try to connect thru ITS i m getting HTTP 404 and HTTP 500 Errors
Can some one throw some ideas.

SAP audio language not working for *any* channels. Useless tech already came out!

Just got the FIOS service this Friday.
I'm very happy with the internet. Very fast!
The TV, I'm not so happy about.
Having come from AT&T U-Verse, and Time Warner Cable before that, I've gotten used to having the HBO channel lineup (or any premium channels like Showtime/Cinemax/etc) and being able to easily switch between English and Spanish audio. So far, between 6 calls to customer service (each one of them telling me it's possible), and one extremely clueless tech that just left my home after only 5 minutes, I've not been able to do this.
I can SEE the option for SAP! I KNOW HBO offers Spanish audio for its' non-HBO Latino channels. I also know that not all movies have Spanish audio, but the majority of new HBO movies do.
A guy on the phone on Saturday had me convinced that to watch HBO channels with Spanish audio, I had to purchase your Spanish package that comes with extra Spanish channels. I thought this was ridiculous -- since I've already got a PREMIUM package, why in the world would I need to get another package to listen to that premium one in Spanish?! Anyways, I got the package and still no Spanish HBO.
The tech that came and left in 5 minutes changed the channel to HBO Latino and said, "Here, it's working". I pointed out that HBO Latino is not what I meant - none of the other HBO channels have Spanish, althought we could see they said SAP.
What gives, Verizon? This, coupled with the fact that I can't set my main DVR to record a show we're watching on an HD receiver in another room without physically going to the DVR itself (or using a cellphone app!) and that apparently I can only record 1 show on the DVR at a time, has me pining for AT&T... which I never thought would happen.
Hell, even Time Warner Cable's HBO lineup has Spanish.
Sounds to me like your all-fiber network isn't up to snuff on some very basic things.

Web Service is not working after Upgrade SAP EHP6

Hi ,
Recently we upgraded SAP ECC 6.0 to EHP 6.
We have a custom web service which is consumed in .NET Application to get the Sold To from Sales Order.
the service is working perfectly before upgrade and it is not working after upgrade to EHP6.
When I tested the Service in WS Navigator in SAP, it is working fine.
We raised a message to SAP and SAP analyze the Traces and confirm that the HTTP Request Header coming from .NET application is not having User ID and Password , so it is throwing exception from SAP as unauthorized.
But in service it is configuration as basic authentication and log on using user id and password and .NET application is calling service by passing user ID & Password.
Customer is not happy as it is working before Upgrade and SAP confirmed every thing fine in SAP, but the service is not working.
we did the below steps.
Regenerated the configuration
Re imported the Certificates
Activated the service in SICF.
Please let me know if anybody have same problem or if any steps we are missing.

Shift+F2 not working in SAP GUI for ITS

In my transactional iview (SAP GUI for ITS) , in one of the screens, shift+F2 is not working(Which in turn opens graph for the report) The same is working fine in SAP GUI for html.
How can i make this work?
Also, can i have a document with the comparision of SAP GUI for html & SAP GUI for ITS, specifying its advantages and dis-advantages as well?..

I have been working on SAP SRS application which is created in Web Dynpro Java and some ABAP part too.
It 7 dcs.
The main dcs are: isisrsrsgrbcsap.com, isisrsrsgrappsap.com and isisrsrsamsap.com.
ScanView is a view which inside a Web Dynpro Java Component ArticleComp which is inside the dc isisrsrsamsap.com.
The ScanView has 4 buttons:
1> Go button,
2> Cancel button,
3> Overview button
and 4> Advanced Search button.
The ScanView has 5 functionkey for mobile devices:
1> GoFunctionKey,
2> CancelFunctionKey,
3> OverviewFunctionKey,
4> AdvancedSearchFunctionKey
and 5> BarCodeReader.
The GoFunctionKey is not working.
It has keycode PI_MaterialScanFk.Search_Go which gets the value 13 from a RFC.
The onAction event of the function key GoFunctionKey is:

So, internally GoFunctionKey calls the function of the Go button.
But nothing happens when client clicks this Enter button of the mobile device.
I am planning to debug the code by putting some breakpoints but it would not help.
I have already tried to print statements inside the onActionScan by using wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager.reportSuccuess();
but nothing is getting printed as the action is not getting called.
There are some changes done in ABAP side but no customization done in the java side.

I have not worked on mobile development but are you sure wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager.reportSuccuess() works on mobile devices.
Also you have called a method of your Comp Controller in onActionSearch. Check if it might be throwing an exception that is not being printed.

Web Templates shortcut Not working in SAP Browser screen

Hello All,
I am facing a diffrent issue with Business Explorer Browser 3.x.
When I try to open shortcuts which is for (Web templates) created in Business Explorer Brower 3.x they are not working properly.
The addres stored for this web templates misses the server address in between.
All the web templates were working fine before Support Pack upgrade. We recently has upgraded to SAP BW 7.02 support pack 7.
I am not sure if this is support pack upgrade issue. Would like to know if someone faced same issue and how did they fixed it. is there any way to modify those address on PROD directly.

We also faced the similar issue and I contacted my basis team they have done some configuration in tables related to basis and then my web templates started working fine. I guess this is general issue which occurs after upgrade.
I don't know the exact solution but you can check with your basis team.
