Hi,
We have created an application using webcenter portal. We are using SSXA to get the content from UCM. We have created some RDs, EDs and RTs.
I am getting following exception.

We are currently running on SAP ECC5. Time evaluation is run with schema TQTA everymonth to create leave quotas in info type 2006.
I am experiencing a time evaluation error "Error while positioning ABWKONTI" for one employee when running TQTA.
This employee was engaged on 14/08/2006. When I checked the logged changes per infotype, I found that a record for 14/07/2006 was deleted. I did check all the infotypes and all is reflecting the correct start date. I would really appreciate if someone can tell me how to fix this problem. Currently the leave entitlements are being processed manually. Please see below the error I am receiving:-

How do I get rid off "metric evaluation errors"
In my Home page in Enterprise Manager Grid Control site,
I have some errors under "All Targets Alerts".
They are defined as "metric evaluation errors"
How do I get rid of them?
All errors are "Collection Failure" during installation of Agent....

If you click on the "metric evaluation error" icon or the number to its right (depending on the screen you're looking at) it will usually direct you to the metric and an error of what's broke.
The hard part is usually trying to fix it as the error messages most times aren't too helpfull.

Where are you seeing this error?
Can you confirm the target exists (check targets.xml on the agent) and that the instance of the target has it defined correctly (all the required instance properties are there)?
Given that those check out, can you open up the metric browser on the agent and make sure the target looks ok there.

Is there a standard way of correcting the Time Evaluation errors in a mass rather than going to induvidual master data and correcting it(Positive Time Management)...

The normal time evaluation errors are-Clock in not found, clock out not found, repeated time events for the same day,etc. And changes requires in IT 2011 for affected employees.You can design an LSMW for deleting, uploading the tim events with a list of the affected employees.

Vendor Evaluation error

During maintaining a vendor evaluation, I am getting the following error message:
"System settings for purchasing org 0001 incomplete".
I've maintained the following settings in Customizing:
1) Define weighting keys
2) Define criteria
3) Define scope list
4) Maintaining Purchasing Organization Data
Are there any other settings to be made somewhere?

Evaluation error after installing my app on a new computer

Hi,
I created an application using Visual C++ 6.0 and the ComponentWorks Starter kit V3.0.
The app uses the CWGraph ,CWKnob and CWBar.
In the app the Graph is displayed on the main window and the other two are added dynamically when the user selects them.
My problem is that after I Packaged my app with InstallShield and installed it on another computer an "evaluation... terminated in 5 minyutes" message is displayed everytime the user displayes the knobs or bars. NO error is diplayed about the graph and it works perfectly as long as the Knobs are not displayed.
This problem does not occure on the development computer where the ComponentWorks installation CD was installed.
Are there any special di
rections for packaging the application?

When you dynamically create controls, you have to manually include the licensing information in your Visual C++ project. This is true for all licensed ActiveX controls, not just the CW controls. You can read about this process in our Knowledgebase here.

Circuit Design Suite 10.1. Evaluation error. Evaluation period is expired?

Hi!
I'm a student from Portugal and recently (Monday, March 23rd 2009) I have downloaded the evaluation version for the Circuit Design Suite 10.1 that includes MultiSim 10.1...
Everything went perfect during the installation, but when I tried to run the actual application, an error box showed up saying "An unexpected licensing error has occurred. Contact National Instruments Technical Support at ni.com/support to resolve this issue."
I tried to open the application one more time, and this time, the evaluation option is disabled with a new message next to it: "Your evaluation for this product has expired."
Now, I went through the license file for MultiSim, and somewhere in the middle of it I could spot the following line, "INCREMENT Multisim_Edu_PKG nilm 10.0101 22-apr-2009", which I believe to be the expiring date of my evaluation...
Can you help me with this issue?

Repair your installation? Does it work? If it does not work you can uninstall
your Multisim (don't forget the Windows Registry; HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National
Instruments, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\National Instruments Delete the Multisim
Key) the reinstall Multisim.
Moreover, if you downloaded the evaluation, make sure you have unzipped the
files in your local disk.

Rectifying Time evaluation errors

Hi Gurus,
Q.1 I want to know how the errors generated through Time evaluation are rectified.
can we use PT40 and it wud be great if explain the process of rectifying errors.
Q.2 We have rule where we have to mark a day as absent if an employee is late by 30 minutes? can some body guide me how to do this and which rule has to be writen how?

Hi Anil,
May be I can try answering your first question:
Regarding PT40 (Time evaluation), usually the User runs the program in the test run mode if the number of employeea are less. If the employees are more, then actual run is made directly but in batches of 500+
Once you get the errors, the system will show the error with description for each employee record.
The only way to correct it is to manually go into the employee record and make changes to the master data. There could be some errors where IT 0007 or IT 0041 is not maintained, we need to create these records from the start of the hire or the start of the financial year.
Then the program is run again for those employee records, then the quotas get updated for those employees. Hope this suffices.

Collection evaluator error in SCCM 2012 SP1

I m getting below errors continuously in colleval.log,
CCEPSource::GetCollectionInfo:- Collection Not Found with CollectionID=2924
CEP-ErrorCode=-2016280319
CEP-Failed to process Collection Extended Properties changes, Status = COLLECTION NOT FOUND FOREIGN KEY CONSTRAINTS, changes will be retried on next processing cycle.
But, there is no such collection id '2924' in SCCM database. Due to these continuous errors, SMS_Collection_Evaluator component is in Critical.

Colleval.box had some CEP files (240+ files) and I deleted all of them.
Now, Colleval.box is empty and Colleval.box\Retry folder is also empty.

Ticket evaluation error on other cluster server node

Hello, All
Could you help me to solve such problem?
I created cluster on one server instance, for example J2E with two server nodes (0 and 1).
The some application working on server node 0 generates sso ticket. When I send this ticket to application on server node 1 the authorization process is not performed. But when I send this ticket to server node 0 all works fine. And and vice versa, i.e. the sso ticket generated on node 1 is right for the application running on node 1 but not for node 0.
In case of different nodes the EvaluationTicketLoginModule throws exception : Own SID not available.
Why does it happen thus? I work within the same J2E server instance.

In our environment we have installed OBIEE 10.1.3.4 on two windows servers(primary and secondary) and these servers not clustered using Microsoft or any other cluster software .
We are planning to use SAN drive to hold the shared cache, now we are facing a challenge in configuring the SAN to see from both OBIEE servers, is it possible to use the SAN with out installing any cluster between these servers.
I understood from above post that you guys implemented/installed OBIEE on Windows environment with SAN.
Is it possible to have a quick call. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Target has encountered metric evaluation errors msg on gc home page

I am new to OEM/ Grid - and need some help after my first oem/ grid installation.
Two questions:
#1) On the home page, it show 4 of the targets (2 dbs, collector, and EM Web application i.e all target status showing 75% up and 25% unknown) are unavailable/ unknown. The two dbs are local to the server where my oem db repository is.
Agent seems to be responding e.g.:

Mine is 5.8 sun os, Unix system. "oem" is the repository dataabse (10.1.0.4, that came with 10.2 OEM software), and I have another local instance "brecdb2" on this box running (Oracle ver 9.2.0.7). Agent running seems to be not communicating with gc for some reason. I can connect to brecdb2 thru OEM grid though.

Error after Installing Solaris

I am getting the following problem after the installation of Solaris 10 on a sunfire v440.Can someone please help me out.I am not sure about the cause of the error output because i am still a junior solaris admin.

I have same problem at before. And I can using same hardware for install windows XP.
After, I try to using very good quality DVDROM, very quality and clearly CD install solaris 10. The problem would sometime happen.
I feel the CD have little dirty, you may not install solaris.

2TB hard disks don't get started in Windows 8.1. Enterprise Evaluation:
*** Error code 43
*** Unkown USB Device - Device Descriptor Request Failed
*** configured but not started
Hardware is OK i.e. this is Windows 8.1. Enterprise Evaluation problem:
~ the same USB hard disk worked before and after this with older Windows PCs
2TB seems to be challenge for Windows 8.1. Enterprise Evaluation:
~ it runs ok USB devices with < 2TB in the same PC and in the same port
Notes:
~ restart of Windows 8.1. Enterprise Evaluation did not help
~ Windows NTFS format is being used

or if still not solved, I suspected this USB drive attached during Windows 8.1 installation, I suggest remove it at device manager and scan for the new device and lets see if windows can detect this HW, try also update all driver if there is any update for
this PC and update windows or update OS to pro version
