Run time error: Templates and DLL�s

I am developing on a Sun Solaris box in C++. I have a function that I want to be dynamically linked at run time. CALLEDB.cc is my function. CALLINGA.cc is my user's source. In CALLINGA.cc is the function prototype

CALLEDB.cc is compiled with

it is linked using
ld -G -o CALLEDB.so CALLEDB.o
the calling program is compiled and linked like this
CC CALLINGA.cc CALLEDB.so -D _SOLARIS -library=iostream -mt -limqb23ss -limqs23ss -lmqm -lmqmcs -lqmzse -lsocket -lnsl -ldl -o CALLINGA.o -v -g
first I compile CALLEDB
then I link CALLEDB
then I compile and link CALLINGA
I get a fatal error message back from the ld

symbol in file

those four methods use templates and I think the problem I have is
that it can't find the template library that the original compile of the CALLEDB creates
Templates.DB
I thought I found a work around. I commented out the couple lines of code that used those methods and went through all three scripts sucessfully. I could execute the CALLINGA program and it executed the CALLEDB function sucessfully. Then I recompiled and linked the CALLEDB with the methods turned on again. CALLINGA ran ok, CALLEDB ran ok unless it tried to run those tem-plated functions. I would get a run time Abend.
Does anyone know what I need to do to use both Templates and DLLs.

So they want me to put all of the DLL files to desk top? I dont have any that have QTmovie

RoboHelp for Word Version 8-Run-time error 49-Bad DLL calling convention

I just installed the trial version of RH8. I have RH5 installed. I also have Word97 installed. When I start RH8, the RH Explorer pane opens, but when it tries to open Word, the following error message appears: "Microsoft Visual Basic - Run-time error '49'. Bad DLL calling convention." Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem?

Run-time error 339 mozctl.dll

I cannot run some business software because I keep getting Run-time error 339 component 'mozctl.dll" or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. I have used 3 different registry cleanup programs that are supposed to fix it and none do. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled Firefox and nothing seems to help

Have you tried the shipping examples? Do these work for you, or do they give the same error? Also, it may help to manually add a refence to the driver under Project -> References -> Browse -> nidaq32.dll.

Run Time Error: Missing nidaq32.dll

When I run my program it crashes and says that I am missing nidaq32.dll. I have tried reinstalling NIDAQ 7.4 several times while including support for Visual Basic, and restarting the computer several times. LabVIEW and MAX have no problems communicating with the boards, but VB6 (without Measurement Studio) will not. I also tried repairing the drivers. There are no other programs trying to access this file. I have searched for it, and it is in the windows and system32 folders.
What is the problem?

Check the RFC connection of Source system. It seems that your rfc connection is not working properly. So make sure that you are able to establisthed the connection between these 2 systems.

LSMW run time error

Am trying to create one LSMW to upload transactional data (VK11) when am trying to execute (F8) my second step of LSMW, the system is taking me to the run time error. And the ABAPer says its something related to the standard SAP coding. what should i do now??

Run time error when trying to complete a build

Hi,
I'm running a copy of CS5 Master Collection on a Windows 7 64 bit PC and using Encore to build an interactive DVD. I have been using the program for about a year and had no problems however this week I have been unable to complete a build.
When I set the program to run a build, it spends a long time (over an hour) building motion menus, then moves on to 'Transcoding' and at some point in this process I will get a "C++ Run Time" error message and I am forced to shut down the program and start again.
I have tried building both a DVD Disk and a DVD image but both have the same result. I have also set the assets files to 'Dont transcode' in the project bin however this does not make any difference.
Can anyone suggest anything else I could do?

Many thanks for the advice. I wanted to give you a bit more information.
I have just attempted another build using 'Run as Administrator' ( to rule it out) however it has come up with the same message at the same point.
The message is as follows:

Runtime Error!

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
To answer your questions: I am not using Dynamic Link or Premiere Pro for this project. The video files I have imported were created in either 3D Max or Aftereffects. These files were rendered as lossless AVI's and then we used Sorensen Squeeze to convert them all into DVD native MPEG2 files. The audio files we are using were converted to DVD native audio files (MPEG2 audio) in Aftereffects.
We did this in an effort to ensure a high standard of quality.
Regarding the kind of files - we are giving encore the MPEG2 video files, MPEG2 audio files and PSD menus.
One other thing to mention - the error comes up at the same point each time I try a build. The progress screen on encore says 'Transcoding' however we have set all of the files to 'Don't Transcode' - this seemed strange to me however I could be wrong.
We do have some long file names in the project so I may have to amend these however I wanted to see if you could suggest anything else first.

I can't get my itunes to update it keeps giving me a run time error but every time it tells me to uninstall and reinstall I keep getting the same error.

Hi, I had this problem too and Barton (bless you) has said
1. go to C:\ programe files(x86) itunes & c:programesfiles/itunes. look for all .dll iles
2. QT movie.DLL ( I didn't have this file) and all .dll files. and move to the desk top.
I did any file that had a .dll after it.
3. reboot your computer.
4. Uninstall Itunes and anything that is related with Apple. eg Quicktime,Bonjour. what ever says Apple is the publisher.
5. Reboot computer
6. go to Itunes and down load again.
This fixed my computer and it took me 3 days until a remote assistant guys that I used for another problem told me to go on community Itunes.
I tried a few of the suggestions but had trouble following but this is pretty simple even for me.

Run-time error when saving Web Template

I recently got upgraded to Windows XP SP2 from Windows 2000. Since then, when I make a change to a Web template, it can be as simple as check a Web Item property, and then try to save it, I get an error. A window (called SAPBWWebAppDesigner) pops up with the message "Run-time error '-2147417848 (80010108) Automation error. The object invoked has disconnected from its clients".
I then get thrown out of WAD and have to log in again. has anyone encountered this behavior?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had a lot of troubles with WAD and there are two causes of those:
1. bad installation of SAP GUI and its add-ons (see note 197460)
2. bugs in WAD
Check note:
857360 and those (but they are pretty old) 815044, 318248, 647405, 573436,
Conclusion from above notes is to install latest GUI patch - talk about this with your basis staff (I think most recent for v6.40 is patch 11

Run Time Error 429 - ActiveX Controls CRAXDRT.DLL Dependancy

After upgrading from Crystal Reports 11.0 to 11.5 we have found that when deploying an application and bundling it in Install Shield we continually get an error when trying to view crystal reports:
Run-time error '429':ActiveX component can't create object
From what we can see this is partly caused by the incorrect setup of the craxdrt.dll dependancey file, point to previous versions of business objects i.e.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\bin
Where it should be
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.5\bin
Even after editing this file and amending the correct locations we still get this error. Has anybody had any success in resolving this. There are lots of forum posts but no diffinitive answers!
This is an extremelly frustrating problem!

Template Builder not found followed by Run-time error '429'

I am having problems with BI Publisher.
I am running the application on a Windows 2003 server via a Citrix connection using Word 2007 (SP2) (multilingual French/English). On this forum, I have seen numerous threads about this type of error but none seems to be working for us.
Symptoms:
I installed BI Publisher with admin rights (account A) and it works fine using this account
I copy the TBCrosstab.dot, TemplateBuilder.dot, WordAnalyzer.dot in another User Profile "%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP" (Account B)
All macros are enabled in account B
The Add-ins menu shows but when I click on Connection I get the Template Builder not found error followed by Run-time error '429'
I uninstall BI Publisher from Account A and install it using account B
It now works fine with account B but I get the error messages in account A...
Does BI Publisher work using multiple accounts on a single machine?

We have a situation, where the users are trying to do the entries creation of order or confirmation (through manual and BDC). But, if there is any kind of a deficit quantities in consumption or GR quantity, then it is going to run time error and Dumps are coming in program SAPLCORB
and the transaction code is coming for CO11N.

Expert Caetano has rightly point out. Refer Note 1840705 - RAISE_EXCEPTION short dump if running CO11N in background
Cause
The short dump is triggered because SAP transaction CO11N contains new GUI elements that cannot always be dealt with in a background process,
such as the confirmation texts.
Resolution
SAP recommends that the standard production order BAPIs, such as BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT, should be used to post a confirmation in background.
If this is not feasible, the following workaround may be uses:
Define a confirmation profile in transaction OPK0;
In the detail areas, remove the area "Confirmation text";
Set this profile as standard, so that it is chosen automatically by the system when a batch-job
is started;
Assign this confirmation profile to the batch user with transaction SU3 using parameter CORUPROF.

As you are getting run-time error after entering the sold to party and material and the error is in SAPLV61Z ,
close the session for sometime and open again and then create sales order and then enter sold to party and material and then check wheather you are getting or not. If you are still facing the problem then take the help of the ABAP & BASIS consultant's.
