Running into active x prompt

Hi there, I have recently loaded a flash website template to
my domain. It loads for me with a few problems however when I asked
family to check it out, most say they could not enter without
loading active x. Is there a way to save the file that will allow
most people to open the site without loading a program?

Admin server running into issues in SOA.

Hi All,
Can anyone help me.
I have recently installed Oracle SOA suite on Linux box. While I was running the Admin Server I am running into Some issues. Though Admin Server is running fine but all that I am running out of memory because of the Logs. Can anyone help me find the issue and solve. I can do some other arrangements to save memory. IF you could help me for any issue I would be so happy. One more thing SOA suite installed on Admin server instead soa_server1 or soa_server2. I still need to SOA-infra setup onto soa_server1 or soa_server2(on different remote machines) [if this info could help also.]

You are much appreciated for your valuable time and knowledge..
Then delete old domain. Its corrupted. You can clean it by manually updating jdbc datasource files under config/jdbc folder. But I will NOT recommend this. Just delete this domain folder and from user_projects/appliations also delete the folder with same domain name.
Create a brand new domain using config wizard. Select SOA or BPM whichever you want, and also Enterprise Manager. Then at database, carefully select 11.7 Schemas that you created earlier.
Though I have not created a new domain. (still Ravi is correct)
Issues were resolved by updating the new RCU schema with latest version of RCU 11.1.1.7.
Here What I did is ran the rcu.bat on my local and connected to remote DB.created new schema for each components namely soa-infra,orabam,owsm,MDS. with a new prefix.
I did not drop the previous schema for SOA.
went to *Domain-home*/config/jdbc/
took the back up for all the *.xml files excluding read.xml(anyway its just an info file).
Now edited the schema component. Someone might change their schema component password. but my suggestion is not to give any new passwords to the schema components while creating new RCU schema for SOA.
What I did is changed the component passwords (I know how to mess up and also know how to fix if it's messed up) and ended up with errors.
So I have now started the server with the command
./startWebLogic.sh -Dweblogic.configuration.schemaValidationEnabled=false
Still I had errors coming up. But I least bothered about the errors because these errors can be solved once get to know what you are doing.
My server started. Happy then
Went to admin-url:port/console
then Home>Summary of JDBC Data Sources
next lock & edit
select each jdbc component and changed the password and confirm password for each
then save each time for each next activate the changes.
(as I changed all components passwords like <password-encrypted>asdl;lasdfadf=<password-encrypted/>   to <password>welcome1=<password/> in each *.xml file at *domain-home/config/jdbc*)
I have restarted the Admin server from Command prompt. Expecting that I was doing correct.
Succeeded. I did not believe that I have seen not even a single error.
My sincere request that don't mess up with any *.xml file if you are not sure and make sure to take a back up

"Lync 2013" error we're sorry, but outlook has run into an error that is preventing it from working

Hi -
So I've an legal Office 2013 version running on my Surface Pro 2, which works fine.
I installed lync client 2013 (not from the appstore, but the desktop version) and on first sight, seems to work as well.
Now comes the issue - when I want to join a meeting, the following error comes up:
"we're sorry, but lync has run into an error that is preventing it from working''
I already re-installed Office and Lync several times - but the error keeps coming and it getting really frustrated because I cannot join any meeting.

Please check if the Lync conference add-in is active in Outlook.
You can check with the following steps:
Click File button on Outlook, Options--Add-Ins. Make sure the Lync Add-in for Microsoft Office 2013 in the list of "Active Application Add-ins". If it is in Inactive Application Add-ins or Disabled Application Add-ins, active it and then restart
Lync client and Outlook to test the issue.
If the issue persists, please also delete Lync user profile and Outlook profile to test the issue.

Run Program activity not exiting

I'm running SCOrch 2012 R2 and am having trouble with a runbook hanging. Here are the facts
My runbook executes a script (the code for which, I have included below) that gets a list of AD users and exports that list to a .csv file.
When run manually, from a Powershell window, the script executes and returns the expected file, before returning to the prompt.
When run through the SCOrch, the script runs fine, with the output file created and the Powershell process exiting.
The commands I'm using to execute the script manually and through the runbook, are the same (see below) and the run-as accounts are the same.
The runbook never gets past the step that runs the Powershell script.
The activity looks like this:

I had a simliar issue as you did where my runbook would run until it got to the "Run .Net Script" Activity and then the Runbook would just stop. What I found was you can not have the command "Exit" in your script. The command "Exit"
will force the Activity to close and will not output any variables.
I am not the only one to find this issue.

I’ve run into a problem with my trail version of Adobe Premier 13, and it appears to be a major one. Here’s what happened. Yesterday when I turned on the computer, I got a prompt asking if I wanted to link my Adobe Lightroom with Adobe Premier. I “x’d” the prompt but then the computer went into a “do not turn off” mode. 45 minutes later the computer was still prompting me not to turn it off. Thinking that the computer was hung up I did turn it off. Then I turned it back on, went to Adobe Lightroom to discover that all my work from the past three-to four years had disappeared.
At this point I am afraid to mess with Adobe Premier, so it’s still on my computer. I used Windows 7, Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 4. Do you think if I uninstalled my trial version of Adobe Premier 13, my work on Lightroom would return? Or is it lost?

I was unaware that you could establish any direct linkage between Lightroom and Premiere Elements. Are you sure that the association was to be for Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom?
Have you tried to do a System Restore to a point before you installed Premiere Elements 13 or before you OK'd whatever this Lightroom linkage was?
Have you asked your question in the Adobe Lightroom Forum, asking about recovery of work lost from Lightroom? Have you found any traces of your lost Lightroom work in the Recycle Bin?

"Sign into iTunes Account" prompt popping up for everything & unable to access iTunes Store?

After I updated to 11.1.5 on my Mac (Running 10.9.2) every time I try to do something, be it listen to iTunes Radio, update apps, view my account in the iTunes store, download a new app, etc. I get the "Sign into iTunes Account" prompt repeatedly. Regardless if I enter the correct password or not it will continuously pop up not allowing me to do whatever I'm trying to do. I've tried signing out/signing back in and deauthorizing/authorizing my computer and haven't had any luck in getting any of these functions to work.

Can I change user name after running essbase from command prompt??

I run essbase from command prompt and during this activity I was asked to give user name and password, but by mistake I put wrong user name and now wolud like to chanege it.
Is it possible??

It worked,
now I was able to connect to easbase from planning, I ve created sample aplication and initialize it but cannot connect to Eas to download data for sample application. After I run the validation there is now only one error displayed:

Recommended Action: Check application is started
I tried to start the eas from start>programs>epm system>essbase>administration services>start administration services(java embeded) but it didnt help.

EMacs cant log into active directory anymore

Hello,
I'm hoping you can give me some insight as to what is going on.
We run an active directory network which is basically all PCs.
We do however have two rooms with 12 eMacs in them each. Up until mid December they had been mostly fine but what we are exeriencing now is that they are having real difficulty logging into the active directory.
If i click on the names of the machines eventually i will see one of three things:
1. Green dot- network accounts available. These we can log into.
2. Yellow dot - some network accounts available. These we cant log into.
3. Red dot - no network accounts available. These we cant log into.
My knowledge of Macs is about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10.
The DHCP server is server 2003
The eMacs are running OS X 10.4.11
I can log into them as local administrator and can browse the network and even get onto the internet when they are unable to log onto Active directory.
What ive done so far...
1. If i unbind and then rebind the mac using directory access they can log in for a while but then randomly they change so that we cant log into them anymore.
2. gave each of the macs an ip reservation on the dhcp server so that they always pick up the same ip address.
3. removed them from Active directory and re added them. even gave them different names.
4. Changed out the switch they were plugged into.
none of these has solved the issue so far so im hoping that someone might have seen something like this before...

These are the steps which I followed ::
a) Created Managed bean class and registered it to adfc.config.xml
b) Created a Custom Login Page say Login.jspx and created a DataBound Page say EmpDetails.jspx
c) Made sure that My Login page is custom Login Page
d) Command Button has the Action Property set to LoginBean.doLogin
e) Configured security and has only one user, no roles and assigned the user to access the page
e) When I run EmpDetails.jspx , I am redirected to Login page as expected but as soon as I press
Login "CommandButton" it throws this error.
Any pointers.

How to import Photos into Active Directory

Hi -
IT Director asked me to import employees pictures into Active Directory so that we can use them in Outlook, SharePoint, Lync etc.
Do you know how to import pictures into Active Directory?

Thumbnailphoto Attribute in active directory is responsible for adding photos to Active directory.
By Default Replication of this attribute will be disabled to Global catalog server. To make use of this facility we will have to enable replication of this attribute to Global Catalog. ( To accomplish this you will have to edit the schema using Active directory
schema snap in).

Requirements
Minimum requirement for your exchange enviornment to use this - Exchange 2010.
Exchange 2007 Don't support uploading photos AFAIK.
Domain controller should be running with atleast windows server 2008 or later. And
schema has to be windows server 2008

thumbnailPhoto attribute, but there's no Remove-RecipientDataProperty cmdlet to remove it. You can use the
RemovePicture switch of Set-Mailbox cmdlet to remove a user's photo. For example:
Set-Mailbox "Bharat Suneja" -RemovePicture

I am trying to use a Futek load sensor example and am running into all sorts of weird issues with the coding.

Eons ago, when I took the Labview I & II courses, I remember the instructor stating that correct VI's had to have error line. I downloaded this VI example from Futek's website and the code doesn't use it. I am trying to utilize it for some data collection rather than have to pay for their software that goes with the sensor. When I first try to run the VI I get an error, and if I replace the formula they use, then undo the replacement it appears to work. The engineer that I am trying to help out is basically wanting to be able to read and also write a file during test, and I am running into all sorts of problems.
If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

The first error when I start to run the VI, is states that I need to insert disc 1 of Labview.
I can usually hit stop and run, stop and run, and then it will start "working".
Then I get the Formula: Library version is incompatible with XNode version.
If I replace the fomula, and then undo replace it will correct the broken start arrow.....
I took the labview 1 and 2 courses 5 years ago, and haven't been a regular user so I am what you would call extremely rusty.
I have an engineer here that is wanting to use the sensor for some testing and can't really understand why I am having so many issues.
Do you know if NI has someone that might be able to work through this with me, or even if there is some Labview consultant that can be paid to help out?

We have two domains with two way trust enabled. Orch server exists in DomainA and target server exists in DomainB.
We are trying to execute some scripts(g:IPCONFIG) from orch server to target server using RUN PROGRAM activity. This is running fine and give expected results, if I give Built-in Administrator credentials in Security Tab. But I'm getting some
strange values like chinese/japanese language strings, If I use a DomainB/DomainA user (Part of local admin of the target server) in security tab as well as Advanced tab-->Runas.
Things I tried:
- DomainA/DomainB user in Security Tab as well as RunAs tab  ---> Strange Strings
- DomainA/DomainB user in Security Tab and BuiltIn Administrator in RunAs tab  ---> Strange Strings
- BuiltIn Administrator in Security Tab ---> Expected result
- BuiltIn Administrator in Security Tab and DomainA/DomainB user in RunAs tab  --> ProgramExitCode = -10xxxxxx
But our requirement is to run the script on the target server as Domain User(Part of local admin).

how do i stop two processes that are running in Activity Monitor took one out of trash and it says preparing to move desktop still running with another one been running for hrs now want to stop these many thanks jen.

Select each one and Force Quit it.
But be careful there are many processes that are run by the OS that if quit will cause problems possibly even crash the system.

I have 2 sons that were sharing one account and now I want to separate them, will I run into any issues ?

I have twin sons and my wife sharing one itunes account and now from what a relative told me I should split them up since face time from my sons itouch is showing up on my wife's iphone ... so I started a new itunes account for all 3 of them, and now I want to sync each of their devices with their own accounts, before they had all the same music, etc... will I run into any issues when syncing each of their devices... meaning will I see a message like "this device is synced with another account and then it will say if I proceed it will erase what is on the device" ... ?? will I see this or will it just sync as normal

You can't merge accounts or transfer iTunes purchases from one Apple ID to another: but there is no problem about using two IDs.
Use your iCloud ID for iCloud for syncing email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and PhotoStream.
Use your other Apple ID as before for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match.
There's no conflict about doing this, and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts.
