Does someone know a good blog or explanation for explaining a scenario where data is mapped through two mapping programs as it is passed through XI?

its only a target user for the workspace where you are deploying the mapping from.
I have two repositories for two different projects. each repositary has its own workspace.
ex:-

When I'm installing iTunes, it says I'm missing a program that the installer is attempting to run, but it's not telling me which program it needs. The installer is able to run through about most of the install, but near the end, this error kills it, help?

Well basically like it says in the question, when the installer runs through to what I assume is near 90% completion, an error message pops up saying that the installer is unable to find/run a program it needs, and as helpful as it is, the installer neglects to tell me what program I need to download/install for the iTunes installer to complete, as it is, I am at a total loss for how to resolve the issue, I couldn't find anything about this on FAQ's, but if it's there, please let me know; however, I'm welcoming all advice, thank you.

Running a Unix Script through a Java Program

Export data to Excel through a ABAP program run in batch mode

Dear Experts,
The requirement is that a ABAP report should run through background job, which will do the followiing :
   1) Collect data from predifined CRM tables ( Activity , Order for example ).
   2) Create a Excel file in a Application Server ( physical file server location ) location.
   3) Push the data collected in the step 1 to the Excel file.
   I have found 2 function modules which does the export to Excel after creating the Excel file. They are :
    a) XXL_FULL_API
    b) MS_EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT
   But it seems that the ABAP report needs to run in the foreground ( correct me if i am wrong ) in order to create the Excel file.
   Please can anyone suggest a possible ABAP code to achieve OR how to use these FMs in background mode ?
The excel creation needs to be automated and send to a administrator email id every day, so the need of exporting the data in background mode arises.

Error in Java Mapping program

I am tryin java mapping for first time.. and created one java program using link https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/xi/wholePayloadtoaXML+field

thanks , it is done now..
the program is compiled properly and class file is generated.
but m gettin error in mapping.
in IR i created two message type with data type as string.
and i had imported the class file and java program using Imported archives.
now in interface mapping mapping program i had selected type as Java Class.and name of java program.
but when i tested it, it is giving error as Linkage error occurred when loading class zip/PayloadToXMLField
Please suggest, M i doing some thing wrong?is any thing missing?

How to store two maps in Oracle

Actually the thing I really want to do is to figure out what capabilities oracle can store more than one map in database.
If two maps have the same semantic structures and geographic properties, but cover different areas.
May I put all two maps' data into same tables I defined for them? For example, for tourist, I am trying to have two maps: one is for Washton, and the other one is New York, in US.
I have tables such as:
hotels, parks, road-network, attractions, restaurants, hosptials etc. Each of them have two things in common:
1. city id
2. sdo_geometry column
If I could have two maps' data stored in the same tables but distinguished by different city id, it would be great, because I don't need to make two DBs in order to manage them. Everything is under one framework. But when I run queries, I 'd like to use r-tree indexing and b-tree indexing on different data. One for spatial column,the other one for textural column. For b-tree indexing, it is easy to undstand. But for r-tree indexing, it seems a little bit tricky. More than one spatial indexes are required for the same column in one table. Am I right?
As you suggest, I could partition my tables by different id, like city id. Then spatial indexing can be built in different partitions. It would be a good idea to do that. I also agree on that coordinate system must be the same in two maps.
Here, I open this issue. If anyone is interested, please drop some lines. It would be grateful.

Force jar to run through java.exe not javaw.exe

Hi,I am programming using eclipse 3.5.1 when i try to export my project as a single jar file it always runs through javaw.exe
even if its a console app the problem is that sometimes i want it to run through java.exe without having to write the annoying batch file (java -jar "appname.jar") which will only probably run under windows, is there a way around this that would force the jar file to run automatically in console mode?

You have one extension which you want to run two different ways. That of course isn't possible.
You could write a wrapper that spawns a console via Runtime.exec. Then your console apps would be wrapped in that.

Either I am totally misunderstanding your statements, or your business people are misinformed.
The output of MD01 (MRP total run in foreground) and the output of MDBT (MRP total Run in Background) ARE IDENTICAL, provided you have selected the same parameters.
Neither output contains a discrete listing of open Purchase orders and Purchase requisitions.
Standard output of both MD01 and MDBT are:
1. List of materials processed, with exception messages
2. Statistics
In addition, both of these programs also write MRP records to the MRP databases, provided that the "Display Material List" parameter is set. In this case, both of these programs will produce data that can be further reviewed and managed in MD05 and MD06. MD06 is the tool that most planners use to process the MRP database info.
If you wish to see a listing of the entire MRP results (either MD01 or MDBT), then execute transaction MDLD. This will produce either a spoolfile or a printed document.
For the PO or PR listings, review my earlier suggestions.

Insert statement not working when Interface is run through PI ..

Hi Every one,
There is an interface(Server proxy) which updates a ztable in the program. Updates are happening when we are running this interface manually(putting Payload manually) but in case there are already entries in ztable and we are trying to update these records, even after handling exception z table is not getting updated when run through PI and happening manually.
Please suggest me for the same.

His fix:
Whenyou putput text from powershell, the console width is assumed. Since task scheduler runs its own hidden console, the width of that console is used to truncate the text.
You can work by this issue by setting the width yourself. Try using a combination of Format-Table -auto / Format-List -auto and Out-File -width like this:
get-process | Format-Table -Auto | Out-File c:\test.txt -Width 10000
The format-cmdlet with -Auto makes sure the file uses only as much width as is truly needed. The -Width parameter sets the maximum width available.
If you must redirect the output to something else, replace Out-File with Out-String -Stream -Width 10000 and then redirect the result to whereever you want.
Note that multiline strings will still be truncated after the first line.
My code looks like this:

Report not running through Forms menu

Hi Gurus,
In our reports we have used Query PL/SQL to reference cursor. When it is compiled and an executable 'rep' file is created, which when
called through froms menu generates following error and aborts the report.
REP-1401:'qr_1refcurds': Fatal PL/SQL error occured.
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called
The same report when called through forms menu, without the compiled version, executes smoothly. Also it runs through report builder perfectly after compilation and generation of rep file.
Would appreciate if anyone can provide suitable guidelines to solve this issue.

is the program-unit you are trying to call, in an external plsql-library ? if so, you have to provide the PLX version of this library in order to use it from a REP file.
however, why are you using the compiled REP version at all ? i would suggest to use the RDF file.

I looked @ your Excel Power Map program add on, and it’s great.
However everyone is looking for the ability for the user to create polygon (boundary) maps.
It should not be that hard to add this functionality onto such a great map program you already have.
For example: let’s say one has 10 latitude & longitude coordinates and he wants to see the polygon (boundary) of them on your great map. One should be able to just put those 10 latitude & longitude coordinates in an Excel sheet, fire up your Power
Map, select that it should be plotted as a polygon (boundary) and it will display on the map.
Does Microsoft have any plans to add user polygon (boundary) map creation ability to your great Excel Power Map program?
I would also like to see Excel Power map have USA census tracts built into it just like is has USA zip codes built into it. Census data is also very important as thousands and thousands of people need to display polygon (boundary) for census tracts.
