Runtime Mapping error

Dear all,
This week we had done XQ1 operating system transformation from HP-UX to Linux environment,after that we test our Interfaces(Scenarios) and get the following error in runtime message mapping
We tested manually for our scenarios,every scenario Mapping is execute successfully,but in runtime it gives the below following dump
SXMB_Moni error Description:

  • Runtime mapping error due to the special characters in source XML

    Hi All,
    I am facing problem with the special characters coming in the source XML message. it is failing at runtime in the mapping level. when i test with the same XML message manually in graphical message mapping it works.
    it looks like a UNICODE problem which we face noramlly in ABAP as well. but looking for a solution.
    For your reference i am giving the data which i am recivieing and the error message below.
    the problem is with the character .
    Source payload error:-
    The XML page cannot be displayed
    Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
    An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource 'file:///C:/WINNT/profiles/CG1009/Local Settings/Temp/a173eb8_2721HTML000003'. Line 26, Position 22
    Early response is appreciated.
    Thank you

    If your message contains special chars and the encoding is not being set, then the error is of the system which is sending the message, not XI's. The webserver should return the correct encoding.
    At adapter engine, You can set the enconding for the messages you send (for example, in Soap adapter module, set XMBWS.XMLEncoding parameter with value iso-8859-1),  but not for the messages you receive.
    As a workaround, you could try using a Java Mapping to change the encoding manually. For that, set the encoding of the OutputFormat of the XML you'll serialize. Try the following code piece for the mapping (inside a try/catch declaration):
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    DocumentBuilder documentBuilder = factory.newDocumentBuilder();
    Document input = documentBuilder.parse(in);
    OutputFormat format = new OutputFormat(XML, "ISO-8859-1", false);
    XMLSerializer serializer = new XMLSerializer(out, format);
    serializer.serialize(input);
    For that code to work, you'll need to import xercesImpl.jar and xml-apis.jar in Imported Archives of mapping objects, in Integration Repository. Both are available at http://xerces.apache.org/xerces2-j/ .

    Henrique.

  • Run Time Message Mapping error

    Hello Experts,
    I am working on JDBC to IDOC scenario. I am getting mapping error at SXMB_MONI and the error message is as below:
    com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceException: Cannot create target element /ZABCD01. Values missing in queue context. Target XSD requires a value for this element, but the target-field mapping does not create one. Check whether the XML instance is valid for the source XSD, and whether the target-field mapping fulfils the requirement of the target XSD at  and so on.....
    I tested in Message Mapping by entering the values and I am able to see the target structure with out any Mapping errors..
    But when JDBC real time it got Runtime mapping error as above:
    Source
    tablename.Set -
    1.1
    row--
    0.Unbound
    a----
    0.1
    b----
    0.1
    Target
    ZABCD01-----1.1
    IDOC--
    1.1
    -Begin-----Required
    XYZ--
    0.1
    a----
    0.1
    b----
    0.1
    Dont know where is the problem is: I tried with payload its giving the same error as runtime....
    Payload looks as :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
    - <set>
    - <row>
      <a>value</a>
      <b>value</b>
    </row>
    </set>
    Can any one faced same issue?
    Thanks
    Rajeev

    HI Satish,
    I created a new Datatype and tested wtih payload still the same..I am unable to create target node as IDOC segment is 0..unbound and below all fields are not not creating stilll they are mapped to source fileds.. what would be the reason?
    IDOC structure is:
    ZIDOC........................1....1
    ...IDOC........................1....1
    .....BEGIN.....................Requied (I disabled this filed)
    .....SEGMENT1.............1....1
    .....SEGMENT2..............0...1
    .........SUBSEGMENT1...0...99
    ..............FIELD1.............0....1
    ..............FIELD2..............0...1
    ..............FIELD3..............0...1
    ..........SUBSEGMENT2....0...1
    ..............FIELD4..............0...1
    ..............FIELD5..............0...1
    JDBC strucute is
    MT_XYZ
    ....set.................1...1
    .....row...............0...unbound
    ......field1............0...1
    ......field2............0...1
    ......field3............0...1
    ......field4............0...1
    I am not mapping all fields to respective fileds of source to target ...if I dont map ZIDOC and IDOC then mapping executing successful but I am not getting SUBSEGMENT1 and SUBSEGMENT2 with there fields values..
    If I do test by entering values manually it populate all fields values with subsegments but when i copy the payload from SXMB_MONI then I am getting error and If I remove target node mappings I am unable to get subsegment and fileds populated..
    How can I make FIELDS of IDOC to get populated??
    Thanks
    Rajeev

  • Runtime Mapping Transformation Error

    Hi Experts,
    I am doing a file to idoc scenario in which the sender system is MDM and the Idocs are to be received in the R/3 system.
    I have generated XSD from the IDOC itself , that is MATMAS05 and used it as the source structure by importing in External Definition and the targer is of course the Idoc.
    In SXMB_MONI i get the Runtime Mapping Transformation error. What can be the reason for this.I read somewhere that the XSD and the xml file that is being picked might have different structures.
    But i checked and they are same.
    Only the problem can be with the encoding part.
    In the XML structure of the Idoc , it is UTF-8 and also after exporting it to file it is UTF-8. But after importing it in the External Definition,it becomes ISO-8859-1 and we are unable to change it.
    Also, the xml file that is given from the MDM system has encoding as UTF-8.
    Kindly help.
    Thanks in Advance.
    -Shweta.

    Hi,
    1) check out imported xsd is correct , valid. Hope while importing you have used Type as "XSD" and then after importing, check out the messages tab to know this
    2) In the mapping, did you map all the madatory fields ? like some of the attributes like BEGIN? For this BEGIN attribute map with constant value. also check all the mandatory nodes/fields
    3) check the mapping in the mapping editor independently in Repository by picking the input xml from the SXMB_MONI. So that you can test the mapping
    Hope this will solve the mapping problem. btw, it is prefer to have exact error posted here.
    Regards, Moorthy

  • Catch Mapping Error in File to IDoc scenario

    Configured BPM and now learning Error Handling. I know that through BPM we can handle system Errors, but I doubt whether Mapping error is a system error.
    I am interested to know the classification of errors with examples, preferably listing out all types of errors.
    Please provide some weblogs or explain briefly how to handle system and application errors through BPM.
    Thanks,
    Raja

    Hi Raja,
    You will need CCMS if you want to send the Alerts to external system or you want to access the ALerts from the transaction. You can capture your alerts without this also.
    When you go to Alert Configuration in the Runtime Workbench you can see Create Alert Rules. These rules are pertaining to the error generated in your AF,AE or IE.
    Once you have completed the whole config. The error happening in the AE, IE or AF would trigger the alert. you can see this in your Alert Inbox.
    The best would be if you go through the URL I have mentioned below.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/80/942f3ffed33d67e10000000a114084/content.htm
    You have to use BPM only if you want to do an activity after the alerts are raised.

  • Catch mapping error message in BPM Exception branch

    Hi dudes,
    Does anyone know how to catch the mapping runtime error message into a BPM exception branch? I know how to create an exception branch and how to trigger it, but I wonder whether it's possible to pass the mapping error message as shown in SXI_MONITOR (i.e. 'Cannot create target element XXXXX. Values missing in queue context').
    Otherwise, everytime my BPM fails I will have to take the payload and run the mapping test in order to find out the reason of the error.
    Many thanks in advance!
    Paco

    Thanks,
    My problem is not about handling exception in BPM, but getting the mapping error description and then passing it to the exception branch.
    I can see in the workflow log that this info is contained into the Exception container EXCEPTIONS[2] / T100MSG:
    Message Class: SAI_MAPPING
    Message Number: 217
    Message Type: E
    Message Variable: com/sap/xi/tf/_<MM name>
    Message Variable: com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceExcepti
    Message Variable: on: Cannot create target element /ns1:<path/field>.Message Variable: Values~
    The text in bold is the one I am interested in to be get and mapped into the exception branch.

  • Mapping error : strange problem

    Hi all,
                I am getting the mapping error in runtime.
    I have tested in message mapping. It is successful there.
    But I got the strange thing. When I change from design to test page and upload my XML file(from SXMB_MONI),  all nodes in my structure are red! Now If I test the message mapping , I am getting the mapping error in SXMB_MONI.
    May someone has a idea what's going wrong...
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sekhar.

    Hi Sekhar,
    If you test using an XML message saved from the sxmb_moni, you have to add 2 namespace tags around the content of the message. Something like this:
    <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
      <ns0:Message1>
    ...message...
      </ns0:Message1>
    </ns0:Messages>
    This is usually done internally by SAP XI, but in the test tool it is not..
    Hope this helps!
    (additional hint: First click "create instance" in the test tool. Check out the first two namespaces, usually messages and message1, and copy these in your test file. That should do the trick.:-) )

  • Mapping Error in SXMB_MONI

    Hi,
    I am facing a mapping error in SXMB_MONI. When I test Message Mapping and Interface Mapping independently, the test executes successfully, displaying the expected output. However when I execute the scenario as a whole, I get an error in SXMB_MONI saying "Runtime Exception: Different length of queues in SortByKey"
    Please help me regarding the same.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Tejal

    Ref. to the help doc statement.
    <i>sortByKey -
    Like sort, but with two inbound parameters to sort (key/value) pairs. The sort process can be compared to that of a table with two columns.
    Using the first parameter, you pass key values from the first column, which are used to sort the table. If you have classified the key values as numeric in the function properties, they must not be equal to the constant ResultList.SUPPRESS. See also: The ResultList Object
    Using the second parameter, you pass the values from the second column of the table.</i>
    <i><b>If there is a discrepancy between the number of keys and values, the mapping runtime triggers an exception. The function returns a queue with the values sorted according to the keys.</b></i>

    how to Achieve this advice please
    regards
    srinivas

    Hello,
    I'm guessing that you are getting mapping errors when using the test tab. You need to edit your IDOC (in XML form) in order to test it. Use notepad in editing the IDOC, add the following tags:
    1. after <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> add the tag <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge"> <ns0:Message1>
    2. scroll down to the end of your message and add this tag: </ns0:Message1></ns0:Messages>
    Save the message as XML.
    This should work when you are testing your messages in Integration Repository only. When the actual scenario is needed (runtime), there is no need to add the tags in your IDOC.
    Hope this helps,
    Regards

  • Join runtime audit error notification with source row

    We're using OWB 10g R1 to load our Datawarehouse.
    First we simply load all flat files into Staging Area (all columns of Datatype VARCHAR2). Afterwards we distribute Data into the Operational Data Store (ODS). Here is a lot of cleaning and transformation work done. That's the step where errors occur. OWB collects runtime and error information into the runtime repository.
    My question is:
    What's the best way to identify (link) which error belongs to which row in Staging-Area table?
    I'd like to have/build an SQL-Statement (View) which selects the erroneus row from Staging Table together with the error message from runtime repository.
    Any ideas/solutions are welcome.
    Regards,
    iOn.

    Hi,
    you should first identify the mapping in wb_rt_audit, get the details from wb_rt_details and the rows from wb_rt_errors.

    If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked.  I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed.  eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money.  I sell phones for a living and this happens a lot
