Rwrun60.exe problem when generating matrix delimited reports

when i am generating reports in delimited format with matrix stayle i am getting following error:
ProgramError:
RWRUN60.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.you will need to restart the program.
please advice me urgently .

From Reports 6i -patch-11 onwards, a new desformat called delimiteddata has been added. Tyr using delimteddata desformat instead of delimited format. Please refer to patch-11 release notes to know more about it.

CITY     citycode
COUNTRY     countrycode
I have to generate matrix summary report in SQLplus.
I have to print countrycode in vertical coloumn(LEFT MOST),
I have to print citycode in horizontal row(TOP MOST),
I have to print count(educated),count(non-educated),total(educated+non educated) in each city
in matrix cells.
Every city code will have three coloumns below it (three counts).
I need help in this problem.

The following is one method. You will need to modify it and expand it for the appropriate city codes and number of cities or create it dynamically. You will need to substitute the actual city codes for CITY1, CITY2, CITY3, etc. You will also need to substitute your table name for your_table. This example assumes that the edu column is populated with N for non-educated or Y for educated; If not, then you will need to modify that, too. You could also use the CASE statement or write it in PL/SQL, or use the Reports module of Developer 2000, or various other alternatives. This is just one suggestion.

Error 500 Internal Server Error" When Generating Hyperion Financial Reports in PDF Format

We are unable to open pdf reports in Workspace with the following error. It was all working fine and doesn't work now for unknown reasons.

a) the parameter is named DESFORMAT not :DESFORMAT, there is
no : in front of the name, if you submit it via URL !
b) there are some issues with acrobat5 and IE but those are not
only caused by PDFs generated with oracle reports.

- i have two pages : i want just one because it is a small report
I choosed this Format : X_65_200

Try to choose a layout that has 65 lines.
If the report is too wide you might change the line layout (take out columns you do not need) until it is ok to print on 1 page.

REP-0499 when generating PDF from report

Hi,
I have a simple query in data model where I'm selecting Oracle database object :
select a.shape from table a;
shape is shapedefinition type that is composed of :
Axis varchar2(1),
x number(2),
y number(2),
z number(2)
when I generate report it works fine but when I try to generate to PDF file I get this error : REP-0499: Column 'Axis' selected by the query is incompatible with report definition
But when I run similar report but database object is composed entirely of number types I don't have this prob.
As far as I can tell, nothing has been changed in Database and it seems like this error only happens when I try to select from database object that contains varchar2 type.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Problem when printing Alv Tree Report in back ground

I am using SUBMIT ...TO SAP-SPOOL WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO with GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS FM.Its working fine.
My problem is that my SUBMIT report have TREE STRUCTURE as output so when i am running my program one blank screen is coming with heading DISPLAY LOG TREE because of TREE STRUCTURE.when i click on back button then only further processing happens.
How to avoid this TREE STRUCTURE SCREEN ???
Is there any other way to pass your list o/p to SPOOL other than .....TO SAP-SPOOL..?

in foreground when u run ALV report it holds maximum fields and displays in 1 single row, but the case is not in back ground...When any report is run in background, the default size for a line is 255 chars...So, if it more it gets splitted into 2 line item....This is how back ground job works for a report though it is a normal report or alv report.

Hi,
Can you please check the following:
If you want to print a FI list, we always recommend to start it at the
selection-screen with "Execute and Print" or as a background job.
Therefore please try one of the two possibilities to avoid the print
error. Please let me know your findings.
1. Start the report with "Execute and Print" (Ctrl+P) or
2. Start it as a background job

RWRBE60.exe error when generating a report to a file format

Hi people,
I'm employed as a consultant by a major Petrochemical facility in South Africa.
My problem is as follows:
Our product dispatching system contains a number of reports which need to be generated to a file format (either PDF, RTF or Text).
Whenever one of the users attempts to do the above in the Reports Previewer
(by clicking on "File" -> "Generate to File" -> "Text"); the following error is displayed:
"RWRBE60.exe - Application Error. The instruction at 0x00281036 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read."
This error only occurs when they attempt to run a report through the Application itself.
I've recompiled and executed the same report(s) using Reports Builder 6, and it generates the file(s) with no problems whatsoever!
Only when running said reports through the Production application, does this error appear.

This certainly looks like a bug, but you should probably check and make sure that you're on the latest patch set (or at least patch set 10 - Reports 6.0.8.19) before contacting support and pursuing further.

Problem when using templates in report 6i with xml defination

Iam trying to generate a report through xml defination , and iam including the template
in the xml . but when i include a user parameter in the template and try to map that UI parameter as f_1 in margin (you can look in object navigator) and run the report through xml then report is hanging, But it works fine when i add the template to the rdf . I doesn't when i include that tdf in the xml and run it. can any one solve this problem.

In the template you should change both the font for headings and for data.
Those are 2 different section in the template.

JDev 10g: Problem when generating database objects from UML diagram

I have noticed following problem.
I made some business components through UML diagrammer in 9.0.3. From the diagram I generated database objects. It worked fine.
When I doing the same thing in 10g, the generation fails on several tables with the message that the "identifier is too long".
Looking at the SQL produced in one of the failing tables. In 9.0.3 following is produced:

alter table sfs_document_def add ( constraint sfs_document_def_owner_type_ch_10 check ("owner_type" is not null));
It seems that column that are set not to be null in 10 g first get a constraint creating the table and then when altering the table. Furthermore, notice that the name of the second constraint is longer than 30 chars, which is reason to the error when creating the tables.

Problem when Generating a PDF , from a SPOOL

Hi,
I'm using the Standard report RSTXPDFT4 to generate data from a spool to a .pdf file.
When the program runs online the data is generated correctly, but, when the data has more then 99 pages, it runs in background, give me the return that the PDF was produced correctly but i can't find where.
I used the path C:\file.pdf but since the server is UNIX, it has got none "C:" Directory.
Then i tried to use /usr/sap/trans/tmp , but the program don't find this path.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

see ...
go to your desktop create one pdf file empty see rightclick the file and see the properties of the file ... there the path of the file will be there .. copy and paste it in the RSTXPDFT4 file path .
just give the file path as your desktop and do background ... so that the spool will be downloaded into your desktop with the file name
i think problem is the file path ..... see the properties of the files in your desktop

Problem when generating an non-interactive form in Web Dynpro java.

I'm trying to create a PDFDocument using a creation context in java. Everything works fine when the Interactive property of the creation context is set to true. When I change it to false however, the Web dynpro application hangs and eventually throws the following exception:
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
   at java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method)
   at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:129)
   at java.io.BufferedInputStream.fill(BufferedInputStream.java:183)
   at java.io.BufferedInputStream.read(BufferedInputStream.java:201)
   at com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxm.soap.HTTPSocket.readLine(HTTPSocket.java:806)
I'm wondering why this exception occurs when i'm generating a non interactive form and never appears when i'm generating a form with the Interactive property set to true.
Any ideas?

Yeah I know changing the form properties will solve my problem, but since i'm developing a training for Interactive Forms in Web Dynpro Java, I wanted to figure out why the (static / non-interactive) combination didn't work, turned out to be a template problem, which i still didn't figure out, except the fact that having flowed content on your template is not the problem.
My ideas about your question:
When we have the layout of an Interactive Form, its clear if it's meant to be static or dynamic, we don't know however, if it's interactive or non-interactive.
I don't think we can judge a layout to have an Interactive or non-interactive purpose, can depend on the situation in which the same form is shown/used:
- One moment it can be interactive, e.g. user is filling in the form, can enter data etc.
- Next moment it can be non-interactive, e.g. form is shown to another user.
So it's more the scenario/situation that determines if the form is interactive or non-interactive.
