S11.0 to S11.1 update failure - can't decipher what is needed

Its an x86 VB system running S11.0SRU#12.4
I'm going round in circles now trying to work out how to get it to SR11.1 ga
(i can't get at the support repo so need to use the release)
I've done this, as suggested by the upgrade info

I remembers Gerry shooting about this on at UKOUG Solaris talk .... checking his blog ... https://blogs.oracle.com/Solaris11Life/entry/solaris_11_process_enhancement_no I thinks it mentions an issue with the update you are attempting.
In essence, if I remembers correctly, one cannot upgrade from 11.(X).(SRU-LAST) to 11.(X+1)[base] ... one has to use the first SRU of the new release or later.

We are sorry but you would not be able to update from Creative Suite 4 .The reason being there are no updates available for Acrobat version 9 .It is quite an older version so you are unfortunately not eligible for any updates or upgrade .
The best option for you would be to opt for Acrobat DC .

Hello,
The two devices need to be connected with a CAN cable and while carrying out the communication, one device should be the master and the other should be the slave. Also you should maintain the same protocol (Baud rate, Arbitration ID etc.) at the two devices.

How can I determine what software needs to be installed for images to display in a Safari browser?

Hi Everyone,
I had to rebaseline my MacBook Pro and I am starting from scratch. When I open certain webpages in Safari, the images I know should be displayed are not coming up as though I am missing some sort of COTS software. I do have Adobe Flash installed already but obviously that is not what I need or I would be seeing some images. I would appreciate any help/suggestions trying to figure out what I need to see images on certain webpages. My guess is the images are dynamic being flashed across the screen to make people want to buy their products. Thanks in advance!

Flash likley needs to be updated, web browsers will disable outdated plugins now.

Installing Apple downloads/updates--how do I determine what I need?

After searching for a number of downloads that are referenced in the discussions as possible fixes, I am trying to sort out which I should install on my imac. For instance, I see that the Graphics Update 1.0 and the Time Machine update (addressing the interface with Time Capsule) have helped solve some issues.
Looking at the release date for both these updates, I see that the 10.5.3 combo update, which I installed, is more recent. As a matter of practice, can I assume that the Graphics Update and the Time Machine update are included in the combo update because they were released prior? I looked in the details on the Combo update page, but I didn't see specifics as to what previous downloads it included.
I would like to know how one knows which updates, or other downloads, one should install.
I've had a number of performance issues since installing the combo update. They include:
-machine running slowly
-many freezes that require shut down
-force quit does not always work
-Time Machine will not find the backup volume after the mac has gone to sleep (this happens with Firewire only, USB seems to work)
In addition to the question of how as a matter of practice to determine which downloads I should install, and how to figure out which downloads/updates I already have after installing a system update such as the Combo 10.5.3, if anyone has any solutions for my list of issues, please comment.

Are you talking about FCP X? You just need to open the App Store application in the mac, login with the same Apple ID you used to buy the software, and click on "purchases".
If you mean legacy Final Cut, then you probably need to have the original disks, but you should ask in the Final Cut Studio forum.

Can Mail do what I need it to do?

I work at a small business where we use Mail. There is an e-mail account where we receive about 500 pieces of mail a day to one general godaddy account. In order to increase efficiency, I'd like to set up mail to recognize addresses and direct the pieces of mail to folders on our server and then delete them from the inbox. For example, an e-mail from John.doe would go into our X folder automatically, then be deleted from the mailbox. Other pieces of mail, while I don't want to flag them as Junk, I do want to have go directly into the Trash. Is this possible? If not, is there some sort of plug-in that can help me with this?

I went back into Mail and really started tinkering with Rules. I still haven't had any success. Here's what I tried:
If all of the following conditions are met:
From/ is equal to/ [email protected] (I choose a specific e-mail address.)
Perform the following actions:
Forward message to smb://xx-svr/shares/xyz folder (I choose the folder where i want the e-mail to go.)
I also tried, instead of Forward message, to use Redirect message. Neither worked, although with Forward message, at least the mail was showing up in the inbox, so I know it was going being sent properly.
Is it because the folder where I'd like to direct my mail is on a server that I'm not having luck getting Mail to automatically move it?

The font in my Facebook apps is real small and I can't do what I need to..Its only when using Firefox and not Internet Explorer...Help...

A couple days ago the font in the apps I am playing like Farmville, Puzzled Hearts and Cafe World went small and doesn't show the whole page either. Its not like that in Internet Explorer so that tells me its either a Facebook or Firefox problem. The Home page is the right size font I use. It's just so strange...

This happens when you install with insufficient user privileges or tools like virus scanners interfere. Delete the caps.db, run teh cleaner tool and try again, avoiding the aforementioend issues by turning stuff off and using compatibility modes. Just get used to the fact that due to compatibility issues it may never work. Your version is pretty old for Win 8.1...

Can't choose what part of image to print when printing actual size.

I have a pdf file that needs to be printed out to actual size, since the image is a temlate for a part that I need to cut out. Since the actual size is bigger than the paper size, it shows a purple box in the preview box, indicating what part of the document it's going to print. The first time I printed the image, it let me slide the box or the slider below, left to right to select what part of the document on wanted on the paper. But, now it's just locked in place. I'm not sure what changed. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64bit, Adobe Reader XI. Printer is a Canon MP495.

I tried your suggestions in order. Steps 1-3 did not fix the problem, but reinstalling from Pacifist did (thank goodness!). Wish I had tried that from the get-go.

There are a couple of things to try:
1. If you haven't done so lately, try Disk Utility
and Repair Permissions. Won't hurt, it's quick and
easy, and there is a remote possibility that it will
help. It actually does occasionally fix something
strange like this.
2. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ and
download the COMBO 10.4.8 updater (it is huge, like
148MBs) and run it, then Repair Permissions again.
3. Restart and hold down the Shift key when you hear
the startup chime. This will force the computer to do
a Safe boot. When you see the splash screen saying
"Safe Mode" release the Shift key. The boot will take
longer than normal as the system repairs the disk,
empties font caches, and disables startup items. Not
sure if Image Capture will run correctly with some
Apple startup items disabled, but you can try it.
Restart normally afterwards.
4. You can download Pacifist here:

It will extract things from your Install disk so you
can install only what you need, in your case Image
Capture.
My Image Capture has never had a problem, so I'm
afraid all I can recommend is these general
approaches. Hope one of them helps.

RMMR1MRS report when run in background cause update failure errors .
There are few below reason for the error log.
1. for the PO invoice already generated - (its right if already invoice generated. should not happen again)
2. In MIGO, entire quantity has been reversed and also invoice generated with zero value - ( its right , should not happen invoice again )
3. Particular PO line item deleted - (its right if the PO line item deleted. ERS settlement not require)
For the all above reason, the update error occurs. But the mean time the program "RMMR1MRS" should not through the update error log.
Note: The job was not terminated due to this update error and also no harm because of the error log
can you please help on this update failure why it occurs.
