S920 Touch screen glitch
Hi, I have an ideaphone S920, and I have a problem with the touch screen, when I playing a game, I am unable to perform a multi touch in a game example Shadowgun. The analog direction key reset (like not pressed) during I pressed action button.

I have same problem with my s920 and will be other people problem who want to buy this phone, this issue is suck... I can't play games, but this phone has high tech, so the conclusion: this phone is useless... I hope Lenovo can fix this, because I think this is only software issue, I have read some ppl use cusrom and this issue is fixed (Viberom), but this is not official and hard to do for ppl who don't know how to root and flash.
People will not buy this phone if they read this issue... this is a major issue for a phone which can play most latest games but you always lose because you can't control the game...

Hi there,
Last night my touch screen starting glitching. It is located where the C V B letters are on the pop up keyboard (but also affects the unlock swiper and general clicking in that location) I haven't dropped it, got it wet or any other kind of damage so i'm a bit confused as to whats happened. I've also cleaned it so there is nothing on the screen causing this. in fact if i hover my finger over the area it sets off the glitch, so i'm pretty sure this is a hardware issue. It may be worth pointing out that my home button has been unclickable for months now and i am using the home button you can find on the accessible settings. This now has a habit of zooming around the screen thanks to this new glitch. I am out of warranty so I can't even speak to the apple support about this without having to pay £25! Does anyone have any ideas?
I have been thinking about getting a new one but it would be nice to be able to fix it instead. I've committed to much of my life to Candy Crush to want to start all over!

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

Acer Iconia Tab - touch screen glitch?!
A couple years ago, my husband bought me a tablet for valentines. It worked great for a couple of months, then the touch screen started glitching. I could press an icon on one side of the screen and the tablet registers it on the complete opposite side. I've dug it out again in hopes of fixing it, but so far, nothing has changed. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I believe there was a firmware update that fixes these issues as this was an issue on the w500's I know. If you go to Acers website and go to support. You should be able to choose tablets/your model and do a full update to correct this issue.

Droid 2 global home screen glitching?
I recieved my first droid 2 global and after about an hour of using it, the home screen would start flipping to another screen about every 2 seconds. And it would always be the last thing I selected. For example, if I was looking at my contacts and hit the "home" icon, it would go to the home screen for a few seconds and then flip back to my contacts and continue doing this everytime I selected "home." It would also not let me get to the app screen at all.
I did run a virus scan, nothing came up and I didn't download a single app. About all I did was set up facebook for android and add a few contacts.
I took it to a verizon store and the man there had no idea what it was, so after putzing with my phone for an hour including doing a factory reset, he said they'd send me a new one.
BUT I had the same problem with the second phone and I'm completely frustrated and clueless. Anyone have any insight?

My Droid x2 locks me out of my own phone, while in the middle of a text or phone call it just decides to lock itself.
Unlocking my phone is a pain because the touch screen glitches as I try to draw in my lock pattern.
My phone started muting itself on/off numerous times during a phone call with my boss >:(
If I am lucky enough to get my phone unlocked and get to my home screen sometimes it begins selecting apps
or m contacts or the dialer and then freezes.
It restarts maybe 2-3 times a day. The one time I drop it (it started doing this after it fell off my lap as I stood up from sitting at a restaurant.)
And finally just about a week ago it began to start deleting my own contacts..

Nokia Lumia 1520 Screen Glitch / Random Things Hap...
So it's kind of hard to explain, but my lumia 1520 was fine when I first got it, but sometimes I can't press anything on the screen, and there are times where bing search will just activate, or it will open up the "listening" function, or it willl just do crazy things. like it's being "hacked" haha. I know it's not, but it just gets so glitchy, i've tried soft reset, and hard reset, and have restored from backup, and nothing seems to work, I recently restored from a backup from several months ago with my old lumia 1020. so far so good, but it will probably start to glitch out again. I don't want to resort to "start afresh as a new phone" because i'm pretty sure you will lose everything? like..contacts and things? hope someone has an answer or has had similar troubles

For the best experience with the Lumia 1520 touch screen, in case you have the same phone model, we encourage you setting the touch sensitivity to normal. To change touch sensitivity, select Settings > touch > Touch sensitivity > Normal. We're hoping that your phone's performance improved by doing it. All the best!

All too often, the touch screen freezes on me. This usually happens after I try and make a gesture. Then the screen becomes completely unresponsive.
The button at the bottom still works. I can either wait about a minute, and then the screen unfreezes, or I can push the power button at the top, put the phone in standby mode and then the screen is responsive as soon as I wake it up from the home button again.

That's harsh, but looks like it is true!
I am having the exact same problem as everyone else here. Since upgrading to the iOS4.0.1 my phone has become incredibly slow and unresponsive. The touch screen will often lock/freeze not allowing you to answer calls. This would not be such a terrible thing if the "home" button could be configured as a back-up answer mode. I have missed several important phone calls as a result.
The 3G and 3GS were great phones. Maybe a few glitches here and there but at least you could answer the phone when a call came in!
Likewise, "Windows 97" was a great OS then Microsoft decided to make improvements and developed "Vista". Now Microsoft's towering kingdom is falling because they would never admit that they developed a flawed system. Now they have come out with Windows 7, but it's too late every one has given up and started moving to Mac.
Apple, beware that your pride and arrogance doesn't take you to the same fate. You need to offer some sort of customer support where we can inform you of issues like these. We should not have to pay to talk to a tech when it is a flaw in your software that is causing the problems. -
Screen glitches and macbook pro crashes
I have a 2012 15" MacBook Pro running Lion. Sometimes the screen glitches out, gray lines appear on it then my computer freezes and must be restarted sometimes it will beep 3 times when restarting and other times it won't. It happens mostly when I open programs like iMovie, Photoshop, VMware Fusion, and one time, Spotify. Is this a virus, software issue, etc? An error message usually appears after being restarted. It does it all the time please help.

It sounds like a hardware problem, but you can try resetting the SMC and PRAM:

On the SMC reset, use the option for a battery you should not remove yourself. -
I bought this less than a week ago and i am having issues with the touch screen. It just stops working all of a sudden for no reason and i have to restart to make it work. It will work fine for hours sometimes but sometimes i have to restart every five minutes. Can someone please help me solve this issue. ThanksKarman
I'm no scientist (although I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express)... but do you think that perhaps the touch screen issues a lot of folks are experiencing could be due to liquid evaporation? Maybe these people are leaving the iPhone in a hot car (or some other really warm place) for an extended period and not admitting it? I mean it is summertime.
Not liquid, but you could be onto something.
Heat is one of the few things that can cause a capacitive screen system go out of calibration, due to the effect on surrounding part specs. Perhaps that's what we're seeing.
I suppose someone with the problem could stick their phone in the refrigerator (not freezer!) for ten minutes and see if that cures their problem.
More likely, there are several different problems going on, and what works for one won't work for others.
My biggest suspicion is that a memory interface is on the edge (either power or timing), and thus weird glitches show up. Restorting the device only when it is fully charged might be one experiment. Give us a dozen bad devices, the source code, a lab with an ICE, and a coupla weeks... and we could figure out what's going on. -
IOS 6.0.1 has more screen glitches than 6.0
Updated to iOS 6.0.1 and now is experiencing more screen glitches compared to 6.0. Has anybody faced such problem?
I 've updated 2 iPod touch 4th gen, iPhone 4S & 5 and iPad 3rd gen and I can't see what you are seeing.
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

Touch screen becoming unresponsive
I have a week 38 iPod Touch and the touch screen started to become unresponsive around the time of the 1.1.1 update (not saying it is related). I owned the iPod for approximately 30 days before the screen started having issues.
I have a difficult time operating the unlock slider and the volume control. It is irritating (to say the least) to not be able to adjust the volume of the iPod during music or video playback or unlock the iPod from sleep mode.
Additionally, other sections of the screen become unresponsive. It does not matter if I am in landscape or portrait mode (video or music modes). The slider will still not track my finger. This leads me to believe it is possibly a software glitch although that doesn't rule out things like overheating which could be causing the issue to occur.
I purchased my iPod at Best Buy. Anyone know if you can return one from that store to an Apple store under the 1 year warranty?
I surely hope Apple helps me out since this is an obvious usability issue.Well, I've tried 2 different brands now (nillkin & ultimate shield) and both had the same issues. I'm reluctant to throw any more money at screen protectors as clearly something is not quite right.
I've been a fan of ultimate shield protectors up to now as I've had them on my previous 2 phones without issue.
Anybody had similar issues and found a brand that works properly?

Bold 9900 - Touch Screen Not Working or Responding
my blackberry bold is 2 weeks old and the touch screen stopped working also. I did what some one here suggested and removed the battey while phone off and restarted. worked for now but will update also.thanks for the help !!!!!
I have had the same problem.I have only had my new Bold 9900 for a month and have just sent it back to the warranty repair shop for them to look at it.My touch screen first stopped working in the mornings after the alarm went off in the first week, so I assumed it was just a glitch with the alarm and installed a 3rd party alarm.However, a week later it just started happening randomly at least two or three times a day - a battery and SIM card pull would fix it at first but after a while even this wouldn't get it working again - it increasingly became more and more unreliable.At the time of sending it to the repairer the touch screen would work for roughly half the day and for the other half the day I would have to use the track ball.Considering I bought the phone outright with 850MHz enabled at about 800AUD I am not happy.Blackberry appear to provide ZERO support for their customers as well - wishing I had spent this money on an iPhone or HTC... BB really need to test their products properly before unleashing them on the unsuspecting masses..

HP 8620 Touch Screen Unresponsive - Firmware Software Bug?
Hello, I have the latest "firmware update" on the HP 8620. Can someone please confirm this bug? I don't know if it is just for the HP 8620 or if it applies to all HP touchscreens. Basically if you go into any setting option, then hit the "home" icon and right after you swipe either left or right, it ends up rendering your touch screen unresponsive to swiping left or right. Is this bug already a known issue? The only way to correct the touchscreen so it is responsive again is hit the question mark, or an icon on the bottom and hit the home button (without swiping left/right right after the home button).

Samsung Rogue Touch Screen Lockup
Help!!! Daughter's Rogue touch screen locked up. She is unable to text or make calls. The only way she is able to receive calls is when she opens up the slider. Is there some hardware glitch? Please advise.

If that doesn't work, you can take the phone to s store with a tech that can troubleshoot for you. -
I've had this Iphone 5 for about 7 months, and about 2 months ago I dropped it and shattered the screen. I got the screen replaces but after there were these white boxes on top of my screen that went away occasionally. Now they are always there and my touch screen is freaking out. Without touching the screen at all my phone glitches and clicks on things and when I do touch it there is no response. I don't know if I can just get one part fixed or if I should try for a new phone.

Just make an appointment at your nearest Apple Store, tell them what happened and pay the price. If you happen to have Apple Care+, this could count as one of your $49 incidents (assuming you haven't already used both of them).
BTW, it is always a good practice to tell them the truth. If you try to lie to them, and tehy find out (which they normally will), it will never go as well for you...

1 iTunes, 2 ipods, 2 different music tastes
My daughter and I have very different music tastes but it appears that we can only use 1 iTunes and therefore 1 Library file. How do we manage the library file for 2 music tastes, other than to uncheck the songs we don't want on our ipods each time?
