Safari browser and JSF

Hi all!
I'm experiencing some problems with Safari browser and JSF navigation rules.
In my faces-config I have a complete diagram of the navigation cases in my application. In the pages I have h:commandLink which call the method of the backing ean responsible for the navigation. The problem is tht this link (only in Safari Browser) does not forward to the page indicated in the configuration file.
May someone help me? Thanks in advance!

Safari Browser and Mail App cannot be opened.

Almost all the times things like that just happens and they seldom return. If i keeps recurring after restoring to factory defaults/new iPod then you likely have a hardware problem.

I tried using my Safari browser and started getting this Goggle Quick Search file which opened in place of my Safari….I tried to close it and I can't. I did manage to get ride of the reader file.

You may have installed one of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.

In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates
if it's not already checked.

Safari browser and EM

I have EM working well using the Safari browser on my Powerbook.
However, when I first used it it gave me a warning that EM is not optimized for Safari.
What is the consequence of this? Is it just that EM doesn't know about Safari or is there a real issue? Is it optimized to perform much better under Microsoft Internet Explorer?
Does anyone have any comparative experience?
Is there any EM functionality that works in IE but not Safari?

Just so no one is confused, Firefox and Mozilla are equivalent. Mozilla is a bundled application with email, IRC, etc. Firefox is just the browser with a slightly different user interface.
Firefox, Camino, and Mozilla are all projects of mozilla.org and they all use the same rendering engine, Gecko, under the hood. Its likely that Oracle hasn't explicitly tested all of the Mozilla derivatives, but if it works in one of them, it should work in any of them.

You're not addressing Apple here. We're all just your fellow users.
It is not possible to delete either iTunes or Safari. Check Settings>General>Restrictions. Do you have them restricted? Are you using a corporate Exchange account? Your administrator could have restricted access. If neither of those things are true, they're there somewhere. Check all the screens and folders. You can also go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Homescreen Layout. This will return the arranment of apps to their factory positions. Both of those apps should then be on the first page.

My friend signed into gmail on my iPad safari browser and it kept asking him if he wanted to increase storage capacity size.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.

Safari browser and refreshing issue.

Lets say I am on a forum page, I can refresh the page in two ways. Either I hit the refresh button on top or hit the bookmark page of the same page. This works on my old phone and the replacement, except for facebook issue.
On facebook, it did it this way before the replacement phone from Verizon and on the replacement it doesn't do it. I have to hit the refresh button on top, it doesn't refresh from the bookmark page. Also if I am on my feed, it automatically refreshes and goes to the top, sometimes. Is this a facebook issue or a certain setting. If it's just facebook, I don't really care but I don't want this issue on other Internet pages, kind of annoying.

The bookmark button is not supposed to refresh it as of newer iOS operating systems

Problem which im facing is when the focus goes to new window below part of code not getting invoked after ajax call completed in parent window.
-> It gets invoke only when i select parent window where the original Ajax call has happened.

Recently my default program for opening any program changed to opening a safari browser for Dropbox. How do I set it back to iBooks?

On both my iPad (which had Dropbox) and my wife's (which does not) any file we click to open the current default is to open a safari browser and attempt to sign into Dropbox. I want to restore iBooks as my default but can't find any info on how. Any help out there is really appreciated!

Sorry for being vague. When I click to open a document in safari, rather than opening the document for me to view, it instead opens up a new window asking me to log into Dropbox to view the file. When I click and hold on link the file now starts with a drop box web address (regardless of website) forcing me to only use this avenue. I have cleared all cookies and data and still have this occur... Hence my comment that somehow Dropbox has become my default viewer for any files. This occurs on my iPad which has the application and my wife's which does not have the program but shares my Apple ID. I am trying to restore the default settings in safari to open documents in iBooks or other programs and not force me to use Dropbox.

Scrolling Favorites in Safari Browser

Hi there.
Please forgive my poor english-knowlege.
I do not know since when I got aware of the fact that when I opened a website I saved in the "Favorite List" of the Safari-Browser and then return to the Favorite List, i have to scroll down the whole List again. I think that`s annoying because I am used to go back to the Favorites and being able to go on scrolling through the List where I last left it.
On my old 2G Iphone it was functioning (I think it started with Firmware 2.0.0) , but now with the newer firmware updates and the new Iphone 3GS it seems the Safari Browser got no remembering function for the "Favorites List".
Anybody out there who came across this problem too ? or Why is this so?
Is ther any solution?
Any answers according my Problem would be appreciated.

There's not a setting that I'm aware of. You can use your "Space" key to go one page down at a time though

Safari browser history

I recently upgraded from OS X Snow Leopard to OS X Lion.
There has been an issue with Safari browser. Whenever i close the browser and turn in on again, all the history is gone. Even the bookmarks are gone. I went to preferences and changed the "Remove History Items" from one day to one month. I thought that would do it. BUT NO. The history has been going away.
I upgraded Safari browser too. Still no solution.
I dont know what to do now. I am really comfortable with Safari browser and want to make it work like before again.

I have finally "freaked out" like others. Itunes keeps asking me to reset the password that is accepted by all. I went to Safari Privacy and third parties and advertisers is already clicked. I need advice before the "ambulance" arrives. (joke)

I have the patience of Job. Patience doesn't help when I can't sign in to iTunes without having my authentic password rejected and
told I need to reset it. Since I have followed the advice from a community member to go to Privacy in Safari Browser and choose an
option other than Always. I have already clicked: Third Parties and Advertisers. This is because I am "allergic" to advertisers.

We have a web site being used on the iPad 3 through Safari.
Our web site is used in a public setting and multiple users login to use it at different times. We have a questions about user account security.
When a signed in user clicks the home button on the iPad , which minimize Safari and returns them to the home screen, can the user be signed out of our web site? We don’t want someone else to come and open the Safari browser and have access to the previous user's account information. Is there a client-side event that is triggered that we can handle so we can log the user out of the site?

Is the iPad shared by everyone at this public setting?
There is currently no way to handle different users on the iPad (or any iOS device).
They are designed as single user devices.
If your company is eligible for an Enterprise account, then you could write an app that could handle clearing user credentials but not in the current "normal" environment.
