But you never replied.
Quit Safari. Open a Finder window select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left. Then open the Library folder, then the Caches folder, then the com.apple.Safari folder. Move the cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash. Relaunch Safari.

I think I need to upgrade my Safari version... can someone help?
I have Safari 1.3.2 (v312.6)
I can't even use some websites (like Old Navy.com/Gap.com), ebay is suggesting I upgrade my browser and there are several others that have suggested the same thing. Where can I find the upgrade? Is there one? I've looked here on the site before, and can't find it.

Please don't follow the ebay suggestion to 'upgrade' , especially the link that ebay provide - I gather it's actually a link to safari 1.2 & installing this will downgrade your Safari & cause more problems besides.

Have a new Mac Book pro and have Netflix program that does not stream down. Have talked with Netflix, Microsoft and Mac support - who referred me back to Microsoft - and no one has been able to get the Silverlight folder trashed so I can redownload the program. I just updated to 10.8.4 and my mail program is showing a series of boxes with AAAAs inside them instead of the email addresses. Also when on Safari web pages are displaying the same AAAAAs instead of type. Firefox displays fine. Can someone help me?
Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup chime to boot into Safe Mode. Keep holding the Shift key until you see a progress bar towards the bottom of the screen. You can let go of the Shift key at that point.
OS X asks you to log in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot even if your Mac is set to automatically log in). Let the Mac finish booting to the desktop and then restart normally. This will clear Font Book's database and the cache files of the user account you logged into in Safe Mode.
Next, close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
Terminal will then ask for your admin password. As you type, it will not show anything, so be sure to enter it correctly.
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and the current user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac. -
I need to run web based Microsoft CRM. I open it in Safari but the program does not respond. I suppose it has to do with Flash or ActiveX. Can someone help?
What does the product developer say about system requirements? If it needs to be run from within Internet Explorer then you'll need to find a way to run Internet Explorer. Boot Camp or VM installation of Windows would be two options.

I am unable to update my apps... in my purchases page it appears as "update", then a message tells me to log on with the Apple ID I purchased the app with... Well I have tried my two different accounts and neither one will work, can someone help ??
And is there any way to sync all my purchases and accounts to just have one... It is a bit stupid that you dont even get a list of something of what account you may of used, or some kind of hint, so you could log on to the right account. I am really stuck ...

My hard drive crashed and I restored my computer with my daughter's hard drive (her battery was dead) and I want to install my personal itunes on the new hard drive. I was unable to deauthorize the original computer and I do not know how to reinstall my personal itunes. Can someone help me with this?
Thank you.Without a backup of your "crashed" HD you will have to download your iTunes purchases again. Make sure your restored computer is running the latest version of iTunes.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On your restored computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
When you want to play your newly downloaded music, you will have to "authorize" it. Don't worry about the lost HD until enough of your computers crash that you reach the limit of 5. Then you can "deauthorize all" and re-authorize as necessary.

Can someone help me find a workaround to get flash to work in XP Pro 64 bit, like there is a workaround for vista 64 bit?
I am trying to get rid of all my 32 bit apps because the more of them you run in 64 bit the less resources are available.
Firefox has a 64 bit browser they call the Shiretoko build. I love it, it's twice as fast as a heavily tweaked 32 bit firefox. Java has a 64 bit plugin that works with it.
The last holdout is Adobe.
Microsoft is making Vista and Win 7 64 bit as easy and smooth as the 32 bit versions as a means to get people to start using them.
Linux has a way to make flash work with 64 bit.
Remember when we all had a 16 bit operating system and how much better things got with 32 bit?

no the audigy 2 zs is pci based. they have another called audigy 2 zs notebook and that's the one for laptop. if you can't find it from your vendor, you can always try getting it from someone else. -

How do I print just 1 page out of 14 pages .
I don't see any settings on my iPod and can't find settings on the printer .

I don't really know what you call it, but the bar that you type web addresses in, at the top of the page, somehow disappeared. If I use this browser it is only to visit pages that I had bookmarked, because I have no way of typing in new addresses. I'm not really sure what I did, but it's gone...
