Sales credits and returns in Vietnam

Hello,
We have just implemented SAP in our business in Vietnam and have been advised that sales credit notes and sales returns are not valid for Vietnam.
Does anyone have experience of this process in Vietnam and can confirm whthere or not this is true?

Hi,
See you can develop reports of fetch it from standard transactions.
Also for your info, you can fetch it from tables. Ir you run tables like VBRK, VBRP by entering revelant data you can find the previous as well as current sales data.
For finding returns sales data, you need to pass the necessary return document type (returns memo etc) in the above said tables.

    Both are sales documents and should be separated by document type....i assume that all the documents are sotrd in the same infocube and if you have tha document type characteristic you can separated them directly in a report

  • How to keep the same cost in Sales order and return order?

    Hi experts,
    When I create a sales order with item cost 100 USD.
    Then the cost of item changed and down to 90 USD.
    When I do goods return refer to the sales order. How can I keep the same cost (VPRS) 100 USD but not 90 USD?
    I made a test the cost in sales order is 100 USD but 90 USD in return sales order.
    I want the cost in return sales order is 100 USD.
    How can I do?

    Hi,
    Let me tell u my understanding of your requirement, after the sales the cost of the item is changed to some thing low than it was in sales order or invoice, in this scenario you need to transfer the cost of the material as it is in the sale order or invoice (which you are taking as reference to create a Return Order), am i right?
    If so, you can proceed like this.
    In the copy controls of Billing to Sales orders ( F2 to RE) we have the pricing type N assigned to it ( Transfer pricing components unchanged, New Cost) here the system is reading the change of the cost again from the material master. if you don' t want it to read the material master data again we can have a change try with pricing type 'D'  (Copy Pricing elements unchanged), and try now.

  • Return Sales Order - And its Status

    Hello Experts,
    I have a question in the sales returns scenario.
    Step 1: I Create a sales order ( With two items and delivery full ) and perform steps till billing ( invoice ).
    Step 2: I Create Return sales order with reference to the first sales order but i take Only one item to return.
    Now the status of the return sales order is Being Processed.
    Step 3: I create a complete ( deliver full quantity of the item ) return delivery with reference to the return sales order and save the document. Now still the return sales order is in status Being Processed. Ideally i should have been Completed.
    Step 4: I do the Goods receipt for the return delivery. Now also the status of the returns sales order is Being Processed instead of Completed
    Kindly suggest any way to control the status of sales document or is this the ideal way( if so what's the functional purpose behind this ? ).
    Is this because the billing block is still set in the Return sales order ?

    Do you mean that only after credit memo creation or clearing of the credit memo from FI the status of return order is set to completed?
    If this is an ideal scenario, in one of our systems the status of return sales order is set to completed immediately after returns delivery creation.
    This behavior is same as that of normal sales order scenario, where the sales order status is set to completed once the delivery happens.
    Kindly suggest, if there is any customizing to control the oeverall status update for specific sales order types or based on the type of sales scenario.

  • Separate sales and return transaction for POSDM interface to ECC

    Hi experts
    We have a requirement to separate sales and return transaction movement types (251 and 252) for even the same articles.
    Currently, we are using two-step process but the aggregation will combine both sales and return transactions together.
    (For example, if i sell 2 article A and return 1 article A, the system will aggregate to selling only 1 article A with movement type 251.
    But we want to have movement type 251 posting for 2 article A, and movement type 252 posting for 1 article A.)
    Would you have any recommendation in terms of configuration?

    Yes, As already explained by Vikrant, You Can create a separate task group for sales and assign that to sales item type (2001) and Create separate task group for returns and assign that to return item type (2801). This can be performed in two-step agregation process. The sales records will be in and returns will be .

    are you sure that you applied the right logic regarding signs in the POS inbound?
    In WPUBON the Field E1WPU02-VORZMENGE must be negative so the POS inbound will consider this line item as sales and would put 251 als movement type if the sign is not minus it would put 252.
    With the WPUUMS it is the same.
    Are you using WPUBON01 or WPUUMS?

    In the footer under the data, we want a 4 line graph (or 2 x 2 line graphs for this year & last year).  One line for sales for the current 12 months, and with it, a line plotting the credits, so as to see the trend over that year.  And then we want a line graphing the previous years sales and a line graphing the previous year credits for the 12 months. 
    On the data tab in chart expert, we selected the Place chart for each SHDOC.ITEM (Item number) in the footer and this is positioning correctly.  We have tried selecting "On change of shdoc.item and we have also tried For each record.  We selected on change of shdoc.item to generate the graph for each item.  We then added the 12 formula for the current year in the Show Value panel  
    In the show value panel we tried using the detail formula, the Report Area: Sum of <formula> and the Group 1: Sum Formula.  They all display as @July or @Aug which is a dependent formula used to identify the month
    We have added the above formula for each month and each value, but we can't work out how to group the monthly data into the 4 series of 4 lines (1 colour each) - Current Year Sales, Current Year Returns, Last Year Sales, Last Year Returns for the charting.  We have tried to create a graph with only 1 set of monthly data (viz, just 12 months current year sales) But no matter what options we take, we seem to get 12 line chart representing each month rather than 1 line representing 12 months.
    Can someone point us in the right direction?

  • Seeking to fetch thcorrect  sales text and comment for a material number

    Currently I have the problem to fetch correct sales text and comment text on the data base for a certain material.
    For this purpose I’ll  can use the CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT' as bellow which works quite good. I just have to call it two time, once for the sales text and next time to fetch the comment text. But first I need to know for which languages a sales text is maintained before I call this function and give the language as an input like ‘E’. I would be very thankful for any comments.

  • Credit memo and return

    Hi gurus,
          after I have created a credit memo , I want to create a return for the same material item. but message shows that " there is already a credit memo request", so I can't continue to create return.  can I create credit memo request and return at the same time?

    With reference to invoice you need to create return sales document. based on return sales document u need to create return delivery document.
    Process
    Step1; create return sales document
    Tcode; Va01
    Document type RE or ZRE (With out Reference)
    Step2: create retrurn delivery document,
    Tcode; VL01n
    Enter return sales document. save it
    Step3: create post goods reciept
    Vl02N
    Click on PGR.
    Step4:
    T.Code:VF01
    Enter return order no
    Step5:
    T.Code:VF02
    Enter the Return invoice no and select the release to Accounting.
    save.

  • Getting FRM-40105 in the sales order form when applying sales credits

    Hi,
    i'm trying to apply sales credits at the line level.
    1.I get FRM-40105 unable to resolve reference to item SALES_CREDITS while trying to save the data in the sales credits window of the sales order form-OEXOEORD(this happens only if i say save and proceed).
    2.If i simply say 'ok' in the sales credits window the data entered in the salesrep field and quota and percentage gets saved but the data i entered in the 'ADDITIONAL SALES CREDIT INFORMATION' flexfield
    doesn't get saved.If i query the order number and if i go back to the sales credits window i'm not able to see the data i entered in the flexfield popup.
    Any idea of why this is happening so? we are in vision 11.5.5.

    2. MIGO u2013 Goods Receipt against PO
    3. J1IEX u2013 Post Excise Invoice
    4. MIRO u2013 Enter Vendor Invoice
    1. At the time of Goods Receipt of Capital Goods, Asset Account will get debited and GR/IR Clearing Account will get credited.
    2. After posting the excise invoice that contains capital goods, the system posts half of the excise duty to u201CCENVAT Receivable accountu201D (Dr) and post the rest to a temporary offset A/c u201CCENVAT on holdu201D (Dr) and Credit CENVAT Clearing Account.
    3. At the time of Invoice Verification, Vendor Account will get credited and Clearing Accounts (GR/IR and CENVAT) & VAT Accounts (if required) will get debited.
    Vendor Return cycle of Capital Goods: -
    1. MR8M - Cancel Vendor Invoice (If Payment is not done)

    You can not show Return cycle as in case of RM since stock of Capital Goods are naot maintained.

    While reviewing production order bookings it is observed that at the time of
    running monthly "overhead run", system is calculating corporate overhead
    and sales overhead and debiting production order. Since at standard cost
    run, corporate OH and Sales OH is not being considered in inventory
    valuation, hence production order is credited with cost of goods
    manufactured level.
    Now if the order is in open status, WIP valuation is happening like "Debit
    in production order (incl corporate OH and Sales OH) minus Credit in the
    production order (w/o corporate & sales OH).
    Can you please suggest some way to follow for correct WIP valuation.
