Sales office default value for user

Hi Gurus,
Is it possible to have the sales office value ex. GBHP as a default on a user account so that whenever user creates any type of order this value GBHP is fetch in document everytime by default.

Ok.
Than Goto Su01 by giving their user id in which you want to set default value.
See path Su01>change mode>parameters tab>than add VKB and give default value what you want to populate automatically.and come out with save.
PS:you may need to do same for each users.
Pls let me know if you found any issues.

Hi gurus,
I'd like to know how to assign default values for user parameters in CRM web UI.
For instance I want that each time during navigation an editable field for sales organization is found, my default sales organization (maintained as paramenter in TX SU01) should be automatically filled out.
I tryed with CRM_SALES_ORG, HH_SALES_ORG, WAP_SALES_ORG, BBP_ORG but it does not work.
Any suggestions?

I fear this is will be completely up to you.
The only means I can think of are:
1. Client Side: When the BSP is constructed use JS to fill the fields. However I can not imagine how one could possibly identify a sales org field on the UI?
2. Server Side: You could hook yourself into the API that is reading the data from the databases. Whenever a field is empty prefill it. This leads to serious problems as you do not know if the field is readonly on the UI.
Anyway, both ideas are just thoughts and there is absolutely no substance behind them. From my point of view it is simply not possible.
However I would be glad if you came up with a solution, this should be interesting.

Account Creation - Badi for Default values for BP Role and Sales Area

my requirement regards the possibility to create a new prospect (a link should be available in the navigation bar or create section).
Logically, a bp role as "Prospect" and particoular sales area should be created automatically.
I created an implementation for the BADI definition "BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS". But don't know how to create the default values for BP role and Sales area:
In my code
assign cr_me->('VIEW') to <lv_view_name>.

I obtain the viewname "AccountDetails" , the related context "Header". After I don't know how to proceed to obtain the related entities through the relationship BuilRolesRel and BuilSalesArrangementRel.
Am I following the right way? Is there another solution to prepare the output for default values?
Any kind of suggestion will be appreciated.

In InfoPath 2013 in use with SharePoint 2013, how do you set a Default Value for Person/Group Picker fields? Other field types like Text Boxes have a Default Value section in the Data tab of Properties. There doesn't appear to be any equivalent for

You can auto populate your InfoPath farm with current user Name and all other property that you have in your User profile, you have couple of options.
First you can make a secondary connection in your InfoPath form with user profile and can use the UserProfileService.asmx and call the GetUserProfileByName method. Here is the steps you can follow.

Default Values For Foreign Trade Header Data

Hello,
I have defined a price condition (ZPFR) to gather the price from the company to the custom office (the customs office through which the goods enter or leave the country).
I want that price condition to be determined in the pricing procedure in foreign trades. The fields in the access sequence are the Plant and the Customs office. In customizing, in the point Default Values For Foreign Trade Header Data, I have defined a line for the Departure country, the Destination Country and the proper values for the Office of exit, Export Custom Office and Office of destination (the same that I have selected in the condition record). But when I create a sale document, this condition does not determine because the Customs office seems not to have any value in the document. Does anybody what I am doing wrong?

You require to do thenecessay configuration for Foreign Trade Data:
IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Foreign Trade/Customs --> Basic Data for Foreign Trade --> (Do the necessary configuration here)
In most probability, it will not default, but it is required to be maintained in Invoice (based on configuration)

Import and default values for columns

Hi guys
I have a table in which there are default values for some columns. I take export of this table.
I go to another database where this table structure is already there (but default values are not set). I run the import of table with ignore=Y. It does all...import the data...create the indexes and all...but doesn't set the default values for the columns.
Shouldn't it do that also ? ignore=Y means that ignore the object creation errors and proceed with the rest of the stuff ? Or there is some problem in my understanding ?
Version 10gR2 on AIX 5.3 and using traditional export/import.

How to set a default value for a page item

I am working with a facility table that has name and address information. The user can add contact name information on a separate page. Since the address for the facility and contact is usually the same, I want to add a default value for the contact address. The facility page is on 201 and the link to add a new contact row is on page 202. I showed in the default value :P201_street for the contact's address. But, when I run the page, the contact address field shows the :P201_street, not the actual facility address. What am I leaving out? Must be something obvious?!

In the default value, I showed: v('P201_STREET1') with the default value type of: PL/SQL Expression and received the following oracle error ==> Item default is not a PL/SQL expression. Use &ITEM syntax. The v('ITEM') syntax is not valid for item defaults. So I changed it to: &P201_STREET1 and got another oracle error , ERR-9132 error in PLSQL expression for item default code, item=P202_STREET1.

How to set default value for Zfeild using statusprofile

hi experts,
I need to set a default value for a zfeild using status profile.Although we can default the values,using getter and setter methods,but in my requirement,the feild will be defaulted when the page is locked,also in display mode,which will require me to write code to unlock then set the value and then write a commit,as there wont be any user action performed.
I have created a zstatus profile and have set the required status to inital,but no luck
please suggest if this canbe achived through status profile.

Hi,
You can check in the getter if the Page is locked and then display the value to want to display. Note that this will be just Displaying the default value for the Zfield and it will not set the default value into the Zfield in DB, because when the document is locked ( means locked for editing - mostly when system status is completed ) , setters are not called and so you can display the value but cant set it. This is fine if the value you want to display in Z field is just for user's informations and its not required to save this default value.
The best approach would be to set the value in the Zfield before the page is locking. For example, If you wat to set the zfield value when status is set to "Completed" , then you can configure an action that is 1) triggered during saving of the document with 2) start condition "When status is completed" ( both 1 and 2 you can mention in action defination ), then Implement this action badi in which you can set the Zfield to default value.
This will ensure that default value is always set whenever the page is getting locked for editing ( i assumed that page lock means status completed ).

How can I get the default value of a particular preference in FireFox?.
I know I can see the default value for some of the preferences in about:config but, I need a programatic way to get the default value.
I see some that there are values for preferences in firefox.cs but I am not certain that these are being used as the default values for preferences. prefs.js in user's profile only has the updated values and not the default values.

Here when you have the callableSattement as ?=proc(?), the first ? is an output parameter. So you should register it as out parameter using registeroutparameter.
Then you can get the value from the outparameter using callablestatement.getXXX().

How to set a default value for particular field in SRM PO Portal

Dear Gurus,
Im desparetly need a help in web dynpro on how to set a default value for a field(flag) in PO header tab in portal.
My requirement is whenever the user press the edit button in PO screen,automatically a flag field should be set as abap_false.
I dont think this will handle in check badi or change badi. i tried this part in onbuttonpressed overwriteexit in CNR_VIEW views,i can get the function EDIT in debugging mode,but dont know how to proceed further.....
Many of them suggested to go with get attribute and set attribute for changing any particular field in web dynpro,but im not very familiar in using those get and set attributes.I request you people can give me sample code on how to identify my target field in the node and set the values while pressing EDIT Button.

My real requirement is, that particular flag should be enable and disable dynamically by checking a condition in my header values.So in that case i dont know how to proceed further to handle in the PO screen.

Requirement is to set default value for attribute "COUNTRY" in BP_HEAD_SEARCH/MainSearch when user clicks on Corporate Account.
Below is code that i have written in DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT.
Code is working fine and in the debug also i can see the value of COUNTRY is set to DE, but it is not showing on the screen for first time but when i load component second time(Refresh the screen), it shows me value.

<html:file property="" /> to allow the user to upload file. but i need that a default file should be set so that even if the user donot click browse ie the user wish to upload that default file the default file get uploaded on page submition. Default values for confirmation control key

Dear forum
I am using a confirmation control key 0004 Shipping notification (standard SAP) in the Purchase order line item (created with ME21n).
When I enter the confirmation data (with transaction ME22n) in the purchase order line item (confirmations tab), I have to type in delivery date, quantity and so on manually, which is standard.
But, what if I want to copy the original delivery date and quantity from the line item in the order, and use this as default value for the line item confirmation data...is it possible somehow?
The reason why I want to do this is for the user not having to go in and update this date manually all the time, but only when the confirmed dates/quantities differ from the desired delivery date and quantities in the purchase order line item. We are not on EDI or using Inbound deliverys for Purchase orders.

The Confirmation is nothing but the acknowledgement.So, its usually entered manuallly by the authorised User allowing follow on documents for Purchase Order.
You can chesk once the customisation of Confiramtion control keys for automatic update indicator.
Yes, you can use User Exit and develop with the help of ABAPERS.
