Sales ORDER- live cache problem- HIgh

Hello Experts,
Please advise me how to fix the error message which occurs while creating sakes order.
Error message reads:
" ATP check in System PA1CLNT410 is not possible since
livecache is not active".
Kindly advise

In SAP Best Practice, I found this note which I thought would be helpful to you.
Check Planning Version 000
In your SAP SCM system, use the following path:
SAP Menu --> Advanced Planning and Optimization --> Master Data --> Planning Version Management --> Model and Version Management
Make sure that the planning version 000 u2013 Active Version is available.
If this planning version is not available, this means that the LiveCache has not been initialized. Proceed with the LiveCache initialization before you start with the installation of any SAP Best Practices scenario.

LiveCache version:     KERNEL     7.5.0   Build 015-122-076-685
DBM server version:      DBMServer 7.5.0   Build 015-122-076-685
Operating system:     SunOS
So what you have to do is that check with your basis people to instal LiveCache

    In sales order I when I enter the material availability happening.........
    ex. My material 00001 I raised the order for 100 quantity on 01.04.2009 on that time system showing availability of stock only 50 quantity available....on 02.04.2009 I posted 200 stock through transfers....Total my stock is 250 quantity as on 02.04.2009 . When i am doing delivery on 02.04.2009 only 50 quantity copying to delivery for the material 00001.
    no reservations are there.....02 availability check is there in my material master..
    if i come sales order if i go to 00001 material line item schedulines if i change the date..manually then only system updating 100 quantity in sales order................
    why its happening...........in sales order 100 line items are there .if i do delivery some line items only quantity copying.its very difficult to remember which item is copied to delivery...........

    sales order is created for 100 units and stocks are there for only for 50 units on 01.04.2009 so the confirmed qty is given as 50 only on saving the sales order
    On 02.04.2009 there are some stocks flowing in your plant /storage locations so on 02.04.2009 the qty becomes 250
    Now on 03.04.2009 the sales order is due for delivery but in delivery only 50 units has come eventhough there are 250 units stocks
    This is your problem
    The system response is very correct
    If you want the system to confirm 100 units on 03.04.2009 this wont happen automatically
    You have to put the order in VA02 mode and redo the availability check
    By doing that the system will confirm the stocks for 100 units
    If your OVZ9  availability check control screen is configured properly then while creating the sales order itself these incoming stocks of 200 units can be taken into account so that the order 100 can be confirmed in VA01 itself
    If your checking group is 02 in MMR then in OVZ9 for the combination of 02 and A (sales order) you can control these
    Go to OVz9 and press F1 in each and every check box
    You will understand it much better

  • First Date on sales Order Line item problem

    I am having a problem with understanding why am I getting different First Date at the line Item every time I create an order using VA01.
    Our lead time for order type OR is set to 3 days in the TVAK table and field VLAUF.
    If I go to VA01 and enter a sales order OR, the date should be today's date (04/02/2014) + 3 work days = 04/07/2014 because 04/05/2014 is a Saturday.
    Today when I calculate the order it brings in the first date as 04/05/2014 in some cases.
    But if I put in the Sales Org in the VA01 screen along with the order type OR, the first date comes in as 04/07/2014.
    Can someone please  explain it?

    You cannot create a sales order without the sales organization.....
    Even though you missed system will always redetermine after entering the Sold to party number in sales order from your master data...

  • Pending order delivery against sales order and quotation problem

    Dear Expert
    I am facing problem when we are tracking delivary quantity against sales order and quotation. then our delivary quantity not matching with invoiced quantity.
    Actually the logic of report are below
    Pick up the VBAK-VBELN and VBAK-KUNNR where AUART = quotation, VKORG, VTWEG, SPART, ERDAT = selection.
    now when any quantity which are added in sales order in new line not cattered through below code and it show problem of mismatch.
    Can any one help me in finding data from all this table to catter delivey quantity, quotation qty and sale order qty.

    Starting from quotes, you could find your quote, then read SD document flow table VBFA for next document of type sales order (could be more than one sales order from a quote).  Then you could obtain delivery documents (could be more than one for a sales order) for all your sales orders, again using next document code in table VBFA.  This would present you tables that could contain multiple rows:
    quote
       sales order
           delivery,
           delivery
        sales order
            delivery
    and so forth.  You might also consider using table VBUK or VBUP to discover status of each quote item.

  • Sales Order Discount Rounding Problem

    Hi Experts
    When we use discount RA01 in our Sales Pricing / Orders it results in rounding issue that shows on Customer Invoice.
    eg: Sales Order Conditions Tab
    Product XXXX x 2 EACH
    CnTy Amount (per ea)
    PR00 $141.55 EA
    RA01 10%
    $14.16
    Net Val $127.40EA
    Total Condition Value (x Order qty)
    PR00 $283.10
    RA01 $28.31
    Net Val $254.79
    So what the Customer sees is the unit price of $127.40 and totol line cost of $254.79.
    But $127.40 x 2 is obviously $254.80
    It looks as though the discount is being calculated as 14.155, then the Net Value rounding from $127.395 to $127.40
    Where as the TOTAL Net Value for the line is showing the $127.395 x 2 = $254.79.
    The Requirements indicator for PR00 and RA01 is 2
    The Calculation Type is PR00 = C (qty) and RA01 = A (%)
    The Net Price, PR00 and RA01 are all set to Rounding = Commercial.
    How do we get this scenario to result in the Net Value Amount, and Net Value Condition Value multiplying correctly by Qty on the Order??

  • Sale Order to Delivery Problem

    Hey Folks
    I have created an order for 50 Units of Material A, and after the avilability check, when i check in the schedule line 40 Units of Material A is confirmed on 16/12/2008, and another 10 units of Material A is confirmed on 26/12/2008. But when i create a delivery for the same order, i can pick the completle 50 Units on 16/12/2008 itself. And after the PGI i have created the billing document on 16/12/2008.
    How can it be possible to create a delivery for 50 Units on 16/12/2008. Pleae advise

    Dear Vijay,
    It is not possible to create single delivery when the material have two schedulelines(i.e the material has got conformed in two different dates).So please check once again conformed schedulelines in the sales order.
    You can able to create single delivery for two schedulelines only when they are have same conformed date.
    If all the settings are correct it may related to Bug,take help of ABAP people to fix the issue.

  • Returns PO based on Return sales order - schedule line problem

    Hi,
    We're designing a return to vendors process as the opposite of a purchasing process through a plant. So normally the process is:
    Customer places order
    We buy from the vendor (PO based on sales order)
    Goods arrive at the plant
    We deliver from plant
    The opposite process is:
    Customer wants to return
    We create return delivery
    Goods arrive at the plant (GR)
    We sent the goods to the vendor (return PO based on sales order)
    This all works, but in the second scenario the sales order gets two schedule lines instead of one. So the system confirms based on the planned delivery time instead of just based on the required delivery time. Since this is a returns process, it doesn't make any sense as we're shipping to the vendor at our convenience once the goods arrive.
    Any ideas how to resolve this? Schedule line settings have been changed to all different versions. Basically the relevant customizing is:
    item category - returns item set
    schedule line category - movement type 653, order type NB, item category 0, acct assignment category M

    There are a few other places to check, but you probably have exhausted those areas.  You can turn of the availability check at the item category also especially if it is specifically for the return order.
    Sales and Distribution => Basic Functions => Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements => Availability Check => Availability check with ATP Logic => Determine Procedure for each delivery item category
    I have also run into issues with APO active and having unintended consequences on the order.  Another avenue to check if there are any customer specific code in a requirements routine or user exit.

  • In sales order item level problem of sales unit.

    Hi All,
    When I create the sales order at that time at item level when I enter the sales unit to order quantity, it then replaced by base unit of that material.
    Also I have checked the unit conversion in material master, but no conversion is maitained for that one.
    Example: When I enter 12 MUN then it is replaced by 12 CS .
    But the user wants same unit that is 12 MUN.
    Please give the reply as early as possible.

    Hi vikram,
    first check the T-code of VA01 if any Enhancements is id don privosely , if it is don please deactivate the enahancement then process the transaction now.
    if want deactivate the enahancement Goto T-code  C-mod  give the enahancement name than it will opens the one pop window it will shows the existing project then select that project palce it into the C-mod intila screen than deactivate that project & prcoess that transaction than it will work fine.

    I am trying to create Sales Order using bapi function, this is giving me error as mentioned below

    it does not GIVE ME THE SALES DOCUMENT NO .
    The BAPI I am using is BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.

    Nandan,
    Please go through the documentation of the BAPI. It gives you details of what needs to be filled in in which structure/parmater. Also, read the documentation associated with each structure, that will tell what to fill.
    It is really hard to explain it in simple terms as to what are required. But, you need the header, items and partners at the minimum. Also, with some of these structures there are also 'X' structures(like ORDER_ITEMS_INX for ORDER_ITEMS_IN) which should also be filled based on what fields you filled in the original structure. For example, if you filled 'MATERIAL' field on the ORDER_ITEMS_IN structure, you should also fill in the same field on the ORDER_ITEMS_INX structure with an 'X' in it.
    All this is well documented in the BAPI.

    If I understand you requirement right then you want to customize your system in that way,
    For e.g If you are changing the payment term in order then there is some place where you mention why you are changing the payment term in order.
    I dont think in change log you will get this facility but I can suggest you another way
    Maintain the Text id at header and tell every user that whenever they change something in order then they have to mention the reson in Text (Header).
    Anyways as per the change log id, senior manager will ask them directly.
    So everybody take it seriouly and enter the reason for every change.

  • Rounding off value problem in sales order

    Hi All,
    This is related to a rounding off value problem in sales order.
    The problem is described by an example which is as follows -
    Selling Price of Material A = Rs. 176.76
    Excise charged = Rs. 21.80
    Total Price = Rs.176.76 + Rs.21.80 = Rs. 198.56
    On this total Trade Discount (ZDTD) having access sequence,is calculated  at the rate of 4% = Rs. 7.94
    But the condition base value after the discount is showing Rs.198.60 instead of Rs.198.56
    I want the system to reflect the value as Rs.198.56 intact and it should not round up to the nearest value i.e. Rs. 198.60
    Why is this happening? Is it possible to reflect the exact value? If yes what is needed to be done?
    The commercial round off is activated for the DIFF Condition Type.
    Looking forward to some valuable suggestions.

  • Problem with MB1C while creating sales order stock

    Hi all,
    I am working  in MTO scenario. I have taken the requirements type as "KE" & assigned the requirements class "ABC". This "ABC" is copied from requirements class "40".
    I have created a sales order with 1 line item and in MB1C when i create the stock, the system creates the stock for the sales order.
    <b>Problem:</b> I start with creating the inquiry - quotation on the basis of inquiry - sales order on the basis of quotation. Now when i go to MB1C to create the sales order, I get the following error:
    <b>"Account assignment cannot be carried out because of different origin no."</b>
    Message no. <b>V1134</b>
    <b>Diagnosis</b>
    The sales document to which you want to refer is based on sales document 108 and item 000010. Therefore, the settlement and possibly inventory management are carried out using the number of the preceding document.
    <b>System Response</b>
    This entry is not allowed.
    <b>Procedure</b>
    Enter the document and the item number of the preceding sales document.
    Also if for the same sales order i run the <b>MRP</b> using <b>MD50</b>, then in the transaction code <b>MD04</b> - the system shows the reference of the <b>"inquiry document number"</b> for the production order. The production order should take the reference of the sales order number.
    For the requirements class in the fields <b>"Acct Assgt Cat"</b> & <b>"Valuation"</b> i have selected <b>"M"</b>

  • User permission on Sales Order button

    We have a user in our Shipping area who can get into the data on the sales order with no problem by going through Sales Orders and drilling into the Customer Number and then Orders.
    BUT, he needs to get to the Sales Order information a different way. In his job in shipping, he needs to get to the Sales Order through the AR Invoice so that he can populate the AR Invoice fields automatically. His process is to open up the AR Invoice, type in the customer number and tab to get the customer information populated. He then goes to the Sales Order button at the bottom of the AR Invoice screen, which opens all existing open orders in their account. He clicks on an order, hits the Choose button, hits the Finish button on the Draw Document window and clicks OK to the System Message window, and then all the information from the Sales Order populates the AR Invoice.
    HERE'S THE REAL PROBLEM -- when he hits the Sales Order button on the AR Invoice screen in our "live" database, it will not show him the existing orders so he cannot populate the invoice. If he does the same thing in our "test" database (a copy of the database from the week before), the Sales Order button on the AR Invoice screen works perfectly and all the information populates the AR Invoice properly.
    I've compared authorizations in both databases and they are exactly the same. Any ideas on what I'm missing?

    Hal,
    Alexey is right- if there are no results - then you don't have open Sales orders for items.
    The other way check if there are ANY opse orders is to open "Open documents" report in Sales Module and choose "Sales Orders".
    First thing if user "don't see source documents" can be also very simple - if he clicked document type on the main invoice window and changed it from Item to Services...
    (then system searches for open orders with DocType = 'S')

  • Sales Order Drafts Deleteing unexpectedly

    I have an issue with Sales Order Document Drafts deleting.
    Here is my scenario
    My customer uses the Sales Order Document Draft to generate for a better name, Recurring Sales Orders.  We run a process using the SDK to take these Drafts and on a weekly basis update them into Sales Orders.
    The problem arises when we use the Documents Drafts Report to maintain and delete no longer needed Sales Order Drafts.
    The process to delete is
    1) Run Documents Drafts Report for Sales Orders Only,  with the Open Only check box Un checked.
    2) Highlight the Sales Order draft to delete,  right click and select Remove from the drop down menu.
    USUALLY this works well,  but every so often,  when we go back into the Documents Drafts Report for Sales Orders,
    anywhere for 20 to 90 of the Sales Orders Drafts are deleted. 
    We notice that the Sales Orders that were deleted without being selected are missing with in a few minutes of selecting the
    ONE Draft to delete.
    Also,  the person maintaining the Sales Drafts is an experienced user.
    The Customer is running SAP B1 SP00 PL47.  SQL Server 2005 Database.
    Any ideas or similar experiences or suggestions?

    We are able to determine which Draft we want to delete.
    The problem we are experiencing is that we delete 5 drafts
    when we rereunthe report,  MANY more than the few selected to be deleted were delete.
    Basically if the Draft Report displays 100 Drafts and I select 5 drafts, one by one and delete them.
    I would expect that when I re reun the Draft report that the report would display 95 Drafts
    NOT 50!!!!
    The actual numers on my Customer's system were BEFORE we deleted ANY Drafts there
    were 442 Drafts.
    We Deleted 7 Drfats by selecting a line, Right clicking and then selecting Remove from the Drop
    Down menu.  Then clicking Update.
    We did this seven times. 
    The we entered a Sales Order saving is as a Draft
    We then ran the Daft Document Report for Sales Orders EXPECTING 436 Drafts
    BUT There were ONLY 353 Drafts
    89 Additional Drafts were deleted.
    This makes NO Sense!!!!
