I am very new to SAP Persona. Please tell me how to start to design a screen for sales order.
I need to design a screen with the field of CUSTOMER.,Material ,Qty.Payment term and other.So i need your guidance to achieve.

Most of the you tubes on scn do not have sound but if you read through the steps listed below the you tube first you can see what they are doing. Refreshing Sales Order Screens with new BP data

My customer service department is entering sales orders and have to create new "ship to" addresses on a regular basis. They open a new sales order, enter the BP Code for the bill to customer and then use teh golden arrow to enter BP Master data and enter a new ship to address. After they save and close the new information, it is not available for them on the old sales order screen until they close and start a new sales order.
Is there a way to refresh a screen that you are currently in in order to import the new information that has been entered into the BP Master Data?

I appreciate the information, but the sarcasm is not necessary.
It is not hard to add the data beforehand but these orders are for a sales agency we contract with. One bill to customer and unlimited ship to addresses. Some are repeat shipments, some are not. So when the order is taken, they open the bill to customer account and if the ship to address is not there, they must then add it and cancel out the order and start over. For one transaction it is not a significant amount of time but over the course of 1000 a day, it becomes significant.
I was looking for a way to facilitate the process.

Picklist printing from Sales Order screen with Crystal Report

When attempting to print a Sales Order, we get a dialog box that allows us to choose either Sales Order or Picklist. Prior to moving to a Crystal Report based report, this dialog box would appear each and every time we tried to print the Sales Order. (Our process requires that we print the Sales Order to our Document Warehouse and then separately print the Picklist to a physical printer.) Now that we are using Cyrstal, the dialog box to select the form appears for the first print job, but when we try to print the other form, we no longer get the option to choose which form to print. The second attempt at printing then defaults to which form we printed first.
Under Print Preferences, it appears the box to "Print Picking Sheet" only applies to PLD. Other than closing out of the Sales Order Form and opening it back up again, is there a way to force SAP to allow me to choose which form to print each time I click Print?
And since we're on the topic, Is it possible to set up a print sequence to print the Sales Order to one printer and the Picklist to another one?

Are you on SBO 8.8 yet? If so which patch level?
There is a Print Sequence functionality built into this version (although we don't use it at our company at the moment). 8.8 will also allow you to attach Crystal Reports to any document (with a little work) and they will print just like a PLD document (albeit in a Crystal Viewer).
If you are not on 8.8 yet, how are you pulling up the Crystal Report for the the Sales Order? I'm guessing you are using some add-on to do this since the 2007 Crystal add-on didn't really handle document layouts very well.
I can expand on all of this if you want. But I'll need to know what version/patch level of SBO you are on. My company is on 8.8 PL15.

UI: Opening Sales Order screen and loading with data

Hi,
I'm currently using the SDK to develop a new screenin SBO. From my new screen I need to display the sales order screen with an order loaded into it.
I currently open the screen using the ActivateMenuItem methid, then use the sendKeys method to try and change to find mode, pass in the sales order number and press enter to start the search.
The code is this:
moSBOApp.ActivateMenuItem("2050");
moSBOApp.SendKeys("(^f)");
moSBOApp.SendKeys("123");
moSBOApp.SendKeys("{ENTER}");
But the form doesn't seem to change modes, it just stays in "Add" mode. Is there a better way of doing it?
I've also tried putting code in the FORM_LOAD event for the sales order screen and try and change mode then, but I just get an "Invalid Form Mode" error

How to enable Billing plan tab in sales order (lean) with NWBC

Dear All,
The Billing plan tab in sales order (lean) is not availabe with NWBC. How to enable this tab?
Is there is any documentation to do the modifications of NWBC's webdynpro screens?
for example, there is a standard webdynpro screen in NWBC from SAP best practices to create sales order (lean). The lean sale order screen having restricted elements and tabs when compare with standard SAP GUI (t code va01).
So I want to include the few missing tabs for data entry.

Dear Friend,
Go to the transaction SHDO variant creation.
there create a variant with respect to transaction Va01 and enter the feilds WERKS as mandatory in the variant specification.
GO to SE93 transaction and assign this variant to the T-code Program.

Yes. You can use this screen. For this either can modify the table VBAP with additional fields and put them on this screen.
You have to code your logic to save these values in the include MV45AFZZ. The subscreens you have to use for this are 4462 or 8459.

Customer Visible in Sales Order Screen.But not visible in the customer Web form in R12

I have created a customer of organization type using the customer API.I have also created a location and a customer account and account site as well
The created values are loaded into the HZ tables and are visible in the tables such as hz_parties, hz_party_sites, hz_party_sits and so on.
But the issue is that I cannot find the customer in the customer web form in the receivables.but at the same time it is visible in the sales order screen in the order management.
so please, someone help me resolve this issue.

To make optional / mandatory you can use in IMG - S&D-> Basic > Functions-> Log of incomplete Procedures => select the fields > from the tables and the system will check for them (OVA2/VUA2)
To make a filed entry enabled or grey (non-entry allowed):
User exits in the program MV45AFZZ-USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a modification in ABAP.
If a field has no field name, it cannot be allocated to a group. The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as follows:
Modification group 1: Automatic modification with transaction MFAW
Modification group 2: It contains 'LOO' for step loop fields
Modification group 3: For modifications which depend on check tables or on other fixed information
Modification group 4: is not used
The FORM routine is called up for every field of a screen. If you require changes to be made, you must make them in this user exit. This FORM routine is called up by the module FELDAUSWAHL.
Actually suppressing fielding sales orders userwise is quite easy. We are doing it in our company. For this we use userexit FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION in MV45AFZZ.
Below is the sample code
IF SCREEN-NAME = 'VBKD-ABSSC'.
AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'ZMV45AFZZ' ID 'SCRFNAME' FIELD SCREEN-NAME.

You place the authority check object in authorization profile in the role of the users, who should have access to the field (in this case it is VBKD-ABSSC), and there assign the corresponding fields that are to be accessed via this userexit.

Discount Condition type in sales order screen

I have a requirement like ,While the creation of Sales order ,we need to add discount for each line item on the main sales order screen ,for that i need an extra field near to order quantity field,and it must be updated at the pricing procedure too for the corresponding line item.Please show me some light on how i can accomplish this.

In the sales order screen and in at the top - right corner of item details screen there is "Configuration" tab click it, it is using standard settings we can create customised setting too. Similarly we have under the conditions tab you can ask your ABAPer to check through th screen and create new one.
The price condiion type is picking from structure KOMV - KSCHL for condition type you can add fields just check with your Abaper.

I am not sure which version SAP has these released, but at least in 4.7 and above there is a BADI definition called BADI_SD_SALES with methods for the old SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE and SAVE_DOCUMENT form routines in MV45AFZZ. There are some other general methods as well.

Screen variant for sales order screen

Hi,
I have a problem in using screen variant in sales order screen.
I want to make gray the columns of material , material quantity in sales order screen but when I use screen variant and check the output only for these columns , it does not work ( I provided these in delivery document and it work)
I want to know that is it possible to make gray for material and material quantity column with screen variant or I can use another way?

If I am getting it correctly,
When an end user enters any particular sales order ,u dont want user be able to add additional line item into the already created document,Right?
Now there are 2 possibilities here ,
1.If order or line item has status completed then u want to block?
2.Order is in incomplete state inspite that u want to block.
System does not stop addition of line item in already created even completely processed sales order.
You can do this by enhancing code in PBO module.You need to take help of ABAP developer for this.
We have used order and lne item status in vbuk table for this .
Create a custom error message for validation.
U can use exit MV45AFZZ for the same.

I have once requirements and is, I need to extract sales order prices with a given Pricing Date (PRSDT).

Maintain a condition record for Rs.10/- with a validity date (only as an example) as 1st March'14 to 15th March'14. Another condition record for Rs.15/- with validity date as 16th March'14 to 31st March'14.
Now create a sale order for 500 nos. with one line item and change the pricing date as 15th March'14. Similarly, create another line item for the same material with 500 nos. and here, change the pricing date as 16th March'14 at line item level. By doing so, system would fetch the pricing in billing accordingly.
I told as per my knowledge System will bring old price only for reserved stock if you want to apply new price for reserved stock just 411 e return the stock from reservation and now create sales order

Your understanding is incorrect. System will never validate pricing based on age of the stocked material but based on validity period what you maintain in condition record.
