Hi Supriya,
From Sales Point of view during factory sales or export sales RG1 register is updated.
RG1 register is updated manually - Tcode J1I5 with different Classifications.
Normally after production and after dispatch of material RG1 register is updated. It is daily stock register.
For Prduction we use RMA or ROP classification
For Dispatch - IWE classification we used.
TR6 Challan is used to deposite the money in PLA account.
Normally FI person will take care of these.
The SAP system handles the following excise registers:
·        Register RG 1
·        Register RG 23A and 23C, Parts I and II
·        Register RG 23D
·        Personal Ledger Account (PLA)
This is the bank account from which you transfer any money owing to the excise authorities.
·        Register RT-12
This is a monthly report that summarizes the CENVAT and PLA information from the other registers.
Register RG 1
Definition
A register of excisable finished goods kept by manufacturing plants. The register shows goods movements from the factory to a store specifically for excisable finished goods.
Use
The SAP system generates all the necessary entries in the register, and to prepare a copy of the register.
Set the material type to Finished Goods in the material masters that you use for finished goods.
Update of Registers RG 1 and RG 23 (Part I)
Use
You use this report to update the information in the following registers:
RG 1
RG 23A, Part I
RG 23C, Part I
This report only creates register entries for goods movements that have not already been entered. It does not create duplicate entries.
You cannot print or display these registers using this report. It is solely for the purpose of updating the registers. Instead, to download the registers, use the Download Register Data report
Prerequisites
You have specified in the material master data which materials are to be entered in register RG 1.
For each of these materials, you have maintained the material form in table J_2IRG1BAL as below. Do not make any entries in fields that are not listed below:

Output
The system displays a list of material documents that have not yet been entered in the register.
Select the documents that you want to add to the register.
To check if there is enough stock in the specific excise group for the register for issues or receipts, select the line items and choose  Simulate.
We recommend that you use this option before proceeding; it will show the line items that can be updated in the register.
Issues and receipts are handled separately based on the following register and classification code combinations:
Register Type
Goods issues
Goods receipts
RG 23A
IIM
ROP
IPD
IWD
RG 23C
IIM
ROP
IPD
IWD
RG 1
IDH
RMA
IDE
ROP
IWE
IWT
IWO
Lines that can be updated in the register will be shown with a green traffic light, while those which are not eligible (for example, if there is not enough stock on hand) will be marked with a red traffic light.
You can reselect the required line items and repeat the Simulate process.
Select the line items you want and choose  Register entry.
The system updates the Part I or RG 1 tables with the material documents.
For RG 1 issues to sales, wherever there is an excise invoice it is picked up and used for RG 1 updating.
The same option can be used for creating entries in RG 23A or RG 23C Part I registers. While creating entries in the register, system will pick up only those material documents for which Part I posting has not been done yet.

  • Urgent! Sales-related item?

Does anyone know where the field XUMSW (sales-related item) is checked when posting a vendor(yes, actually)  invoice (FI-AR invoice)? Me and two co-workers are debugging a program when parking an invoice in FV60, and are about to come to a solution on an existing problem.. This field information is very important, but unfortunately a black hole for us.
    Thanks,
    Eaj

    Thanks.
To be more specific; when is this indicator checked in the first place?
The function modules FI_DUPLICATE_INVOICE_CHECK checkes <i>if</i> the indicator is checked. But we need to know at what point the indicator is set in the first place.
    CORRESPONDENCE_REQUEST/CORRESPONDENCE_REQUEST_POSTING unfortunately isn't relevant.

  • Posting key for payment documents with sales related check

    Hi,
sometime during 2010 posting key for posting cusotmer payments was changed in other attibutes to sales related.  a correction has been made to the posting key but now I need to correct all the documents in BSEG field XUMSW and remove the sales related check.
does anyone know of a way or a program that will do this?
    your help is greatly appreciated.
    CM

    Hi,
You cannot change XUMSW (sales related item) in OB32.Here most of the fields are there for changeble option.but for your case it is not applicable.
It means you cant change that field.
If you want really modify it for certain documents you need to writ Query to change in table level.
Normal BDC and LSMW will not work.
    Thanks

  • Omit sales related info in Materials report

    Hi Experts,
I have a Material Master report, which gets fields only from non-sales related tables. But I still see two rows for each material, one ofr each Sales Org.
Previously the report had data like Sales Org, Dist Channel nad Repair Cat which were pulled from MVKE table. Now I have removed all these and also Company Code field was removed that comes from T001 table.
So my question is why does the report still show two rows for each material eventhoug there are no Sales related fileds being pulled into the report.
    thanks,
    ACS
I still have the Company Code in the selection criteria, can this be the reason?

    Gattu,
    Thanks for your reply.
However, the problem goes like this.
I am working on an existing BO report. This report works perfectly(shows only the open sales orders) except for some leakage(some delivered items too get it).
The existing report's query have filters only one MRP Element and Order Category.
Could there be anything that can be done with these objects?
    Thanks,

  • Third party sales related question

I am trying to analyze my client SAP system and came across a scenario like this.
    1) A 3rd party sales order is created without any subsequent documents like Purchase order etc as in a standard 3rd party flow. A new sales document type (for example ZABC(not the real names)) is configured for it and a normal item category is used in the Sales order. The schedule line category doesn't create any Purchase Requisitions and henceforth any subsequent documents. An IDOC is created though. Also the SP is a marked as a third party customer.
Why we dont have he subsequent documents generated in this case.I am not able to understand this process with business point of view.Is it that they just creat a 3rd party SO in the system for there reporting purposes or anything else.? Is this kind of situation used for any other client then please let me know the reason behind it.
    2) I also have a customized 3rd party order type  (for example Z3AB (not the real names)) which follows all the standard 3rd party sales flow. But in this case the customer is not marked as a third party relevant but the item category is ZTAS (Third Party Item) because of which we get the complete flow of a standard third party sales.
So please let me know the difference between the 2 scenarios.I was thinkin that the customer should always be marked as a third part relevant but thats not the case in the second option.
Let me know in case of any other information required.

    Hi,
    General third party sales.
two types of process we can follow.
    1. Third party scenario in which vendor sent the item to the customer and the company will bill the customer.
    2. The third party scenario where vendor send the material and the company delivery the stock to the customer and bill.
As per the your CASE1:it refer to the second process above.
created a sales order. and generated a IDOC. will hit the customer.
Documentation is need, say if the idoc has wrong picked the quantity , or if the proof of delivery should be received. then with what reference you will change are no that the order is completed.
Example : statiscal invoice will be done based on the vendor delivered material and Proof of delivery.
as the second CASE 2: the process which clearly explains what we have done .
Example : say if you have 200 materials , 100 materials will be send by vendor 1 and another 100 send by vendor 2. so this process  be clear where , what we are doing.
    thanks

  • SAles related query

If i want to sell only particular quantity of material to a customer (say 100 pieces/month), can i control that functionality with condition update?, till now i know the functionality of condition update is, it can be used for specific price or say discounts, say till 3 orders system will pick different price, the moment 4th order will be created, different price will be there.
my scenario is, i don't want any of my customer to have monopoly of the product in the market which i am producing.
    Please help.

    Dear Nitesh,
as other colleagues said, there are many possibilities, how you can control this. One of very often used possibilities is the allocation functionality. Here you can practically indicate the limit, how many goods can you sell to determined customer. Then the availability check will take this limit into consideration and can confirm maximally the quantity allowed for a concrete period (for example, 100 pc in June, 100 pc in July, 100 pc in August etc.)
You can find the Customizing setting for the allocation functionality under:
SPRO => Sales and Distribution => Basic Functions => Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements => Availability check => Availability Check Against Product Allocation => ...
Of course, alternatively you can use outline agreements like contracts or scheduling agreements without delivery schedules, which have the target quantity.
I hope, this info helps you a little bit further.
    Kind regards,

  • Cross Company Third Party Sales related problem

    Dear All,
I have the following Third Party Intercompany Sales Scenario -
    Company Code : A100 -> Plant : T001
                               B100 -> Plant : P001
    Customer : 1001 under Company Code B100
    Business Case -
Customercode 1001 of Company Code B100 will place a sales order to Delivering plant P001. Upon saving the sales order a purchase requisition will be generated & subsequently converted to a PO for Delivering Plant P001 from vendor T001 under company code A100.
Vendor T001 will deliver the goods to the customer 1001 with respect to PO & raise an inter-company invoice to plant P001 under Company Code B100.
After that plant P001 will do MIRO & raise the final commercial invoice  to the customer code 1001 with respect to the sales order punched at the beginning.
Please suggest what are the steps along with configurations needed to achieve my requirement.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Excise Registers updation for the Blcckout period transactions

    Dear Friends,
After Going Live how should we update the Excise Registers for the sales happened during Blackout period. Ideally the sales shouldnot happen but it is inevitable.
The cutover strategy planned is to create freshly the sales orders and deliveries for the sales that happened during the Blkout period. But the Excisable registers need to be updated on the same dates the sale happened.
    1. Do I need to do the Goods Issue for the deliveries on back dates and update the Registers accordingly?
Is there any other way to cater this?
    2. What are all the things to take care specially with the Excise reerence?
    Thanks

  • Error while saving a Sales Order in the CRM Mobile Application

    Hi,
I am facing issues while saving a Sales Order in the CRM Mobile Application. I am getting the error message "Value Field KvLangu is not valid (Error: 236 / 1102)".
I would be very grateful if somebody had faced this issue before and this way could help me with some information.
    Best Regards,
    Rogerio Prado.

    Hi Rogerio,
You should put mobile sales related messages in the forum "CRM Mobile applications"
This error message is coming because the language table SMOT002 might be empty in your mobile client OR it does not have all the values which have been customized in the system.
You need to have subscription based on publication "customizing objects" assigned to your site.

  • Credit memo in Sales

    Hi,
I have a scneario wherin I have overcharged a customer . In that case as per my knowledge, we will create
1.Credit memo request against the Invoice
    2.Create a credit memo consequently.
Please confirm that there is no other SALES RELATED document to be created once we create a credit memo (Basically the sales order and delivery will remain untouched). In that case how should I settle the credit memo so that I can get an accounting document.
The other way I can think of is by using a document type RK.I am not sure how should we go about it.Can anybody please throw some light on it?

    Hi,
Regd Doc Type RK-Invoice correction request.
Invoice correction request - A sales document used in complaints processing to correct the quantity or price of one or more items in an invoice.
You can create an invoice correction request if the wrong prices have been calculated for the customer. The invoice correction request can be automatically blocked by the system until it has been checked.
The system calculates the difference between the amount that was originally calculated and the corrected amount for each item.
Once it has been approved, you can remove the block. The system creates a credit memo with reference to the invoice correction request. If the remaining amount is positive, the total value does not have a + sign, if the remaining amount is negative, the total value has a – sign.
Free of charge delivery - You can create free of charge deliveries for sending samples of your products to the customer. The system will then generate a delivery based on the free-of-charge delivery.
Both these things are used to handle customer complaints
    Example :
You raise a Sales Order (OR) with a net price of Rs/- 1000 and
carryout the Outbound Delivery with Picking and PGI and
raise a Invoice and change the Price in Invoice as Rs/-990 and save the Invoice.(Note down the Document number)
Now goto VA01 and raise a Sales Order with Document type (RK) and give the Billing Document number as refernce then Click on Copy and now Goto Item Condition Screen and change the Price to Rs/-1000 and remove the billing block and save it.
Now goto VF01 and raise the Invoice and you can see the Difference amount Rs/-10 in the Netprice.

  • Best Practice Table Creation for Multiple Customers, Weekly/Monthly Sales Data in Multiple Fields

We have an homegrown Access database originally designed in 2000 that now has an SQL back-end.  The database has not yet been converted to a higher format such as Access 2007 since at least 2 users are still on Access 2003.  It is fine if suggestions
will only work with Access 2007 or higher.
I'm trying to determine if our database is the best place to do this or if we should look at another solution.  We have thousands of products each with a single identifier.  There are customers who provide us regular sales reporting for what was
sold in a given time period -- weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly time periods being most important.  This reporting may or may not include all of our product identifiers.  The reporting is typically based on calendar-defined timing although we have
some customers who have their own calendars which may not align to a calendar month or calendar year so recording the time period can be helpful.
Each customer's sales report can contain anything from 1,000-20,000 rows of products for each report.  Each customer report is different and they typically have between 4-30 columns of data for each product; headers are consistently named.  The
product identifiers included may vary by customer and even within each report for a customer; the data in the product identifier row changes each week.  Headers include a wide variety of data such as overall on hand, overall on order, unsellable on hand,
returns, on hand information for each location or customer grouping, sell-through units information for each location or customer grouping for that given time period, sell-through dollars information for each location or customer grouping for that given time
period,  sell-through units information for each location or customer grouping for a cumulative time period (same thing for dollars), warehouse on hands, warehouse on orders, the customer's unique categorization of our product in their system, the customer's
current status code for that product, and so on.
Currently all of this data is stored in a multitude of Excel spreadsheets (by customer, division and time period).  Due to overall volume of information and number of Excel sheets, cross-referencing can take considerable time.  Is it possible to
set-up tables for our largest customers so I can create queries and pivot tables to more quickly look at sales-related information by category, by specific product(s), by partner, by specific products or categories across partners, by specific products or
categories across specific weeks/months/years, etc.  We do have a separate product table so only the product identifier or a junction table may be needed to pull in additional information from the product table with queries.  We do need to maintain
    the sales reporting information indefinitely.
I welcome any suggestions, best practice or resources (books, web, etc).
    Many thanks!

I assume you want to migrate to SQL Server.
Your best course of action is to hire a professional database designer for a short period like a month.
Once you have the database, you need to hire a professional DBA to move your current data from Access & Excel into the new SQL Server database.
Finally you have to hire an SSRS professional to design reports for your company.
It is also beneficial if the above professionals train your staff while building the new RDBMS.
Certain senior SQL Server professionals may be able to do all 3 functions in one person: db design, database administration/ETL & business intelligence development (reports).

  • Sales order report with order attachments

    Hi All
I am writing a program for a 2 part report that gives a list of sales orders with attachment flags and a list of invoices that do not have the output processed due to the presence of attachment flag.
Firstly i need help regarding few queries in the process of writing this program.
    1. How can i distinguish between a sales order with attachement and one without an attachment.
    2. What is the related field for attachment in sales header/sales item table(s) or any other sales related table which will contain information of the attachment in the sales order.
    3. If I have an attachment in sales order, will it have an effect in the output being processed for the invoice for that order.
    Thanks in Advance
    --Mike

    Hello Erik,
is there a sales order report with the complete line-item pricing
breakdown. For example, In VA05 I'm only able to get the Net
Price and Net Value as an output. I would also like to view the
breakdown of the conditions (e.g. disounts, tax, etc.)
Is there another report in SAP that will show this? Or a backend
table I can pull this information from to create a query?
The best way to handle your requirement is to create a Custom report using the standard table for Sales Order i.e. VBAK and you can pick up the Document Condition Number. You can pass this number to table KONV and pull up all the values for the active contion type which was responsible for Sales Order price calculation. Please reach out to a ABAPer to develop this sort of a custom report.
Just FYI, if you want to check out all the value for a specific condition type, then you can use the standard report i.e. V/LD.
Please update your post after carrying out this exercise.
