Sample application not working in iAS6.5

I am using iAS6.5 and iWS6.0. The provided sample application HelloWorld do not work for my case.
After deploying the application and using the URL http://myhost/NASApp/helloworld/index.html

The sample application works fine.
Any explanation why the provided sample application don't work ?
I do not have this problem when using iAS6.0 and iWS4.1.

Help, anyone. I have tried deploying the application using both the command line method and the tool provided. The result are the same. I emphasis, I have used iAS6.5 and iWS6.0 to try the sample helloworld application. And I have not problem trying the application with iAS6.0 and iWS4.1.

i am a newbie to javawebstart.. i have 2 questions
1) i downloaded the sample application from the net
( http://java.sun.com/developer/releases/javawebstart/) and was trying the "LibInstaller" sample.. i have been able to run step 1 (ant main : creates intially war file) and step 2(keystore and signing)... but step 3 seems to have some problem..i try to make the war file using command jar -cvf ../Libinstaller.war but get this error message:

i don't know which option i should be using because it just seems to overwrite the previous unsigned war file and is empty (1KB only) .. and by the way which of the samples given is working ok if the steps in the readme is followed accordingly??
2) Another question is if i want to deploy an application using webstart, for e.g can i just replace the inst.jar file by my "source.jar" file and rename to inst.jar (for a start so that i don't have to change the inst.java file initially) and change the inst.jnlp (application desc main to specify the main class)???

issue 1 has been resolved. the sample program is working fine.. just missed '.' in step 3 during war file creation.
as for issue 2, i require my swing application to be updated automatically at the client end if a new version is available at the server side. so i am thinking of using java webstart to check whether a recent source.jar file is available. so for a start, what i am trying is to replace the inst.jar file by my source.jar file in the sample application.... renaming it to inst.jar file and changing the inst.jnlp to indicate the mainclass.. any suggestions..

Dear All, when i get connected through WiFi , the only app working is the browser and the reset of the applications not working , and after restarting the blackberry phone every thing working fine for just 24 hours then it come back down again and i need to restart again , so could any one help

It was never completely clear whether it was just hidden or whether Apple ran a download page for iChat 6.
As the Download for Messages Beta was separate and "Deleted" iChat it would seem it would be another download for iChat 6.
iMessages will not function as it is only an Account type within Messages and iChat 6 does not have it.
Therefore messages on the iPhone will not sync to the Mac. (until you get Mountain Lion and Messages in that OS X version).
Mountain Lion and it's full version of Messages will not sync the iMessages that have happened in between the 14th December 2012 (end date of Messages beta) and the Install of Mountain Lion if you decide on that route.

LCDS Samples Do Not Work

I just installed LCDS to perform an evaluation. I installed using the embedded Tomcat which they have configured to run on port 8400. I launch Tomcat and point my browser to http://localhost:8400/lcds-samples/testdrive.htm, all is fine so far. If you are new to JSF, then I'd try and simplify the environment in which you are working as the first step to achieving a successful outcome.
JSF 1.2 is a certified and well tested component of WLS, so we know it works. I'm not sure of the effect of all those additional modules you are adding in there -- it appears as if you have gotten a Faces implementation instantiated, but there could be some form of version difference/conflict since it can't find a method its looking for.
Using Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse (http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oepe/oepe_11115.html) you can build yourself out a pretty simple JSF application to get started from and deploy it to a WLS server. This would remove all the additional libraries you currently have, provide you with a bundled applicaton to deploy and give you a pretty good environment from which you can learn and experiment with JSF.

Flash.sampler.getSamples() not working in flex app

flash.sampler.getSamples() is returning undefined when called in flex application.
I tried it by deploying this application to a local tomcat and called the flash.sampler.getSamples() which returned undefined.
The same code works fine when run in a standalone mode. Can someone please help me why it is not working when deployed in a server.

This is the sample code which I have written in my application's button click handler

Alert.show(" "+getSampleCount());
When I run this locally, the alert always shows some number greater than 1000. When I run this from my tomcat server, the alert always shows zero.

I've installed Flex Builder Beta 3 for the first time and am
trying to use the Shirt Designer sample application but it will not
work. First it gives me errors about transcoding all of the fonts
in the folder and when the application does display in the browser
I just see a page with a gradient, no actual application. I've
followed the installation instructions very closely so I was
wondering if someone else had an idea of what might be wrong.
Thanks a lot. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a long-term
development love affair with Flex.

If you have not created any applications yet what you could try is:
stop essbase, copy the applications from
<drive>:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseServer\app
to
<drive>:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\<instancename>\EssbaseServer\essbaseserver1\app
rename ESSBASE.SEC in <drive>:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\<instancename>\EssbaseServer\essbaseserver1\bin
^ you might get away without having to rename the sec file, try it first without renaming, if it doesnt work try it with renaming.

E75 messaging application not working

Hi,
I have recently purchased an E75 and at first glance it looks to be very nice. However, now i have run into the problem that messaging is not working properly. The message indicator is telling me that I have 6 new messages. When I try to go menu>>messages the application tries to open but immediately crashes. Also when I try to open the messages directly by clicking on them from the message indicator the same behavior seems to happen.
Has anybody experienced the same? How do I get rid of these messages if I can't open them?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I've had similar problems with my E75.
I've found that Nokia Messaging simply gets confused & over-loaded, and gives up.
Try accessing you email account from your computer.
Then, delete all of your messages from your inbox & sent folders.
Basically, purge as much as possible.
Then try accessing it from your E75.
This usually works for me.

Windows Live Application Not Working

I got a nokia n81 8gb firmware v 21.0.010 downloaded the Windows Live application from the download section on my phone it downloaded started installing after it finished i got an error message Unable to run application. restarted phone tried to run it from Applications folder not working. uninstalled redownloaded and installed same problem. any help appreciated, thanks.

A friend of mine downloaded the same application and its working for him. but when he clicked the download button he was offered to download and install Nokia Web services Support Package and Nokia Internet Services Support Package before downloading and installing the Windows Live application itself. i did not get any prompt for downloading or installing any kind of application before installing the messenger itself thats why its not working coz obviously it needs those files to work. is this some kinda mistake or ? i dont get it how am i suposed to get those packages to make the application work if i cant get them from the download application ? any help appreciated. thanks alot

My lyrics application not working

When i downloaded the lylics application in my c7,it was working very fine. But after sometime,it is not working anymore. When i click on the icon,it never open again. I have deleted and download again several times still its not working. Please let somebody help me restore this application cos this is my best application. Thanks

Sync.me application not working

the application "sync.me" was working properly
i removed the application "sync.me" and i reinstall it from my new apple id
the application is not working when i opened it it close directly

I am also have the exact same issure since I installed the new update from the app store. The application closes as soon as it opens. I am running IOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4S. Before this app was working fine when it was called the Smart Sync app. I dont know if they will release an update to fix this problem.

SMS timer application not working

I have just downloaded the SMS timer application from symbian freak website and installed it on my phone 5800XM (v40). However, the application is not working. When I am sending a SMS, it does not ask me to schedule it. The SMS gets sent immediately.
Can some one tell me what is wrong with the installation and how to correct it?

Odd, seems like iMessage is having problems right now for a number of people when it comes to sending text (SMS) / iMessage messages. No longer can sign in to it via my Apple ID while Facetime still does sign in.
