Sample "Products" Demo glitch????

Within the 1.3 release sample, there is a file:
/demos/products/index.html
that on line 20 has a call:

Problems:
1. There is no CSS directory within the "/demos/products/"
directory
2. No where in the 1.3 prerelease is there an accordion.css
file. The closest match is an "SpryAccordion.css" file in the
"/widgets/accordion/" directory but I don't know if that's the
same.
I downloaded the Spry prerelease yesterday and today and
found the problem this afternoon.

Thanks for noticing that.
Those CSS classes had already been moved to the screen.css
but we didn't remove the link. Opps.
While I was there, I got rid of the spry:if in the repeating
TR and replaced it with the ds_EvenOddRow.
I will push those live soon.

This question pertains to the JDBC forum but i'll give you my inputs anyway.
IMO, something is wrong in your environment (libraries missing in ld path?); which sounds like a 64 bits environment. In 9.2, unlike 10g, JDBC supports very few 64 bits platforms.
I'd suggest to try the same code using JDBC-Thin instead of JDBC-OCI and see what happens.

Business Requirement - Product Demo Request

We have a business requirement wherein a Sales Rep needs to create a Transaction (which will work as a Demo Request). Do we have this process mapped as a Standard SAP.
Requirement is to create a Product Demo when the Sales Opportunity qualifies to a particular level.

Sample production run without bom,routing

at our client place we have a scenario where we will run sample production (before real production run) without creating bom/routing for the material...
someone suggested we use finance internal order and then post the material documents in migo against that internal order and labor costs in kb21n..
is this the only easiest way for this kind of scenario? or do you have any other ideas?

Hi Swatghi Rege,
You can create a production order without Routing and without BOM by creating a new order type.
To be able to create an order without Routing: Change the Config in OPL8 ( order type dependent parameters) as routing optional.
To be able to create the Order without the BOM you will need to:
- Configure a new BOM Application. This can be done in tcode OS30.
- Create a BOM ID in T-code OS31 with BOM Usage as Production.
- Assign this BOM ID in BOM Application.
- In the ID maintain a BOM alone without any items.
- Finally in OPL8, you need to assign the new BOM Application for your Order type.

Change another account for the sample product

When posting goods issue, occurs a debit to 1000000 and a credit to 2000000. Account1000000 is for usage finished goods, and 2000000 is for finished product.Now I want to change the debit to 3000000(sample+free delivery) instead of the account 1000000.
How can I do it in system???
I would appreciate if any one instructs me on it.

You will have to create a new movement type eg Goods issue Sample, which will have a different account key assigned for posting.
The MM forum would be a better place for more detailed information.

Creating a interactive product demo in flash?

I have to create a interactive produc demo for one of the product, I have created every thing except the product rotation feature, I mean end user can rotate the product in 360 degrees as per the their wish using mouse. I have all sides of images of the product, but I don't know how to create the interaction, Please any one help me on the this.

I think you don't need a 3D model for this. I wasn't able to get the "model" to rotate where you could see either the top or the bottom "end on." Therefore, all you really need is the images going around the object in one dimension. In the case shown in the demo, this means all around the horizontal axis of the phone.
Once you have that, you would adjust the playhead in a mc containing those images, in order, based on the left and right motion of the mouse. You'd rotate the entire MC based on where the mouse is relative to the center.

Problem running the sample adf demo

I'm a new user of JDeveloper and trying to use ADF Faces.
I followed the instructions to setup ADF faces in JDeveloper.
While trying to run the sample demo provided(adffacesdemo), I get the following error messages
Error: "http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" is not a registered TLD namespace.
Error: Unable to load taghandler class: http://java.sun.com/jsf/core
Error: "http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/EA14/html" is not a registered TLD namespace.
and many more errors of this sort.
Now I have managed to succesfully run JSF applications in JDeveloper without using ADF faces. No problems with that.
I have no clue as to why these errors are coming.
Any help is appreciated.

My macbook air will not play videos online, like product demo videos, etc.

My macbook air is running on OS X 10.9.5, with i5 processor, and for some unknown reason will not play videos, like short tutorial videos or demo videos for online shopping site. The enable plug-ins is on and I don't know what else to try. Never had this happen before.

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.
If you have installed the latest version of Flash, please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
For a "blocked plug-in" error, see Step 4.
For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
           ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced ▹ Delete All...
In the sheet that opens, check the box marked
          Delete All Site Data and Settings
then click Delete Data. Close the preference pane.

Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
Step 8
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
          Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
Then click the button marked
          Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.

Adding a free sample button to the large product layout?

hello guys
im trying to figure out how to add a free sample button to the large product layout
the site is a tiles shop http://ceramic-planet2.businesscatalyst.com/
and we want to give the customer the option of ordering a sample from the large layout of the product they are viewing.
A sample button underneath the add to cart button that is free but still charges a few $ for p&p.
so I figure the sample button would be a add to cart tag of a seperate product added to the layout of the main product it is based on.
any ideas how I can link a new different product to a product layout.
plus not every product will need this button so is there a way of adding it to certain products? im thinking maybe using the custom tag? can I link products to a custom tag?
if im not being clear I apologise but hopefully its simples

almost there Ive played with the cutom template like you said
I made a template called samplebutton which has a tag_name_nolink and a add to cart button. Thats it nothing fancy.
every product is going to have its very own sample button so I couldn't just add this custom template to the large template as it would only work for that one item I linked it to.
so I added the module code with added custom template to the custom tag field for the large product and added it to the page {tag_custom3) thus able to add different sample products to different large products.
and it looks like its going to work.......until I add to cart and the product reverts back to small product template take a look http://ceramic-planet2.businesscatalyst.com/bathroom-tiles/cardiff-marron
any ideas why when I add to cart the product reverts to small product template and how I can stop this from happening?
