SAP Appraisal Document data APPSEARCH

Hi all
below is my issue. Please help me if you have any solution for that
- I am running the transaction APPSEARCH which gives me a list of appraisal documents.
- After selecting one document from ALV i am pressing the reporting button at the top thats opening a screen with few options like 'Print' , 'Export to Excel' like that...
- I am using Export to Excel option and is giving me a waring ''Appraisal document contains more than 20 elements; download not possible"
and at the same time it's downloading some of the data.
How could i getrid of that warning?? is that possible?? Can i get the full data into excel with proper format??

Dear Kris,
It is not possible to download documents with more than 20 elements to Excel. (More precisely, only a truncated version of such documents will be downloaded.)
As of basis release 7.00 it is possible to download the documents to Adobe forms without the size limitation.

Hello, I just need some clarification on what the difference is between a posting date and a document date on an a/p invoice?
I'm guessing the posting date is the date of which the client enters the document into the system
Is the document date the date of the actual invoice itself?

Posting Date
Specify the posting date when user enter the data into the SAP B1.
Document Date
Date of the document for tax reporting purposes. By default, it is the same as the posting date. You can change it manually, if required.

Include Document Date & Doc Due Date in SAP B1 Aging Details Report

We are not able to view the actual document date and document due date from the Aging details report, it should be an essential information that should be show in the aging report. It make no sense that user still have to manually drill into each document to just read the document date/ due date for their aging analysis!!!
Try to imaging that how important this information to a business, for instance, to age the invoice which due for 1 - 30 days, the document date which due for 1 days is categorise into 1-30days aged, the documents due for 30days also categorise into 1-30days aged, however it bring the different meanings to user and user need these information to take the action decision! How useful for an aging report which could not equip user with these basic information to provide user with efficiency to make effective decision???
I think it is necessary to incorporate this level of details to the SAP B1 Aging Report.

What is document date? When will you use it?in A/R invoice in SAP B1

I would like to know the meaning of document date for A/R invoice in sap b1.
when will u use? and How will u use it?
I know Posting Date is date when u add invoice
Due Date is a last date that customer have to pay you.
But I don't know document date.
I know only it use to caculate in payment terms.
Does document date in A/R invoice use when u closing-Period?
Please guide it to me.

How to transport appraisal documents between SAP systems

Hi, HR experts!
I'd like to transport some appraisal documents - located, for example, in the transaction code PHAP_ADMIN - from the QAS SAP to the Production SAP and I don't know how to do that. Please, could you send me the required steps?
The release of our systems is ECC 6.0 and the level of the software component SAP_HR is 0058.

there is no other solution , only report RHSOBJCH can be used
Report RHSOBJCH adjusts the transport objects PDST, PDST_LSO,..., that
are used to transport personnel planning objects. The transport objects
need to be adjusted, whenever a new infotype is delivered by SAP or
created in the customer system. We can't deliver the adjustment, because
the transport object contains both the SAP infotypes as well as the
customer infotypes.
Therefore you should select all entries in report RHSOBJCH and add them
to the transport object. This needs to be done after each upgrade and
after the creation of a customer infotype.
You should run the report both in source and target system BEFORE
transporting the appraisal templates.
When transporting PD objects to your productive environment
you should pay attention whether objects are involved in the transport,
which already exist in the productive system.
This is described under 5.a) in note 138411,

SAP DMS - Material master - Document Data

Hi,
When I access the Document Data Tab (through mm03 - Additional Data - Document Data)
the table shows only 2 lines witch refer to a DIR.
Is there a note that makes it possible to see for example 10 lines?
Are there any customizing settings to change this?

I know that I can add more documents using mm02.
I just want make the 'table' (witch displays the linked documents ) bigger, this to get a better overview of all linked documents.
At this point I can only see 2 linked DIR at once, witch it not very practical.

SAP Easy Document Report - Meta data search

Dear Gurus,
In the SAP easy document search, we can give only one document type at a time. Our client needs to fetch all the documents of a particular document number. In that case search criteria should allow us to select different document types.
How can we select multiple document types at a sinlgle selection screen.

I have did complete IMG activity for ECM as per client specifications.
According to that I have created Budgets (by Using BSP's). Now, When I loged as MSS user and selecting the Review of mine. I am getting an error saying that "Error occurred in data reading"...
I am able to make changes by using Standard Plan "Spot Bonus". So I have made one Compensation Plan Item with Spot Bonus Review and other respective customization. Now I am able to see my Direct Reporting Employees..
But I am getting an error as "MERIT-CH (i.e., My Comp Plan) has no valid Appraisal documents.."
Any Help is Highly appreciated...

Upload of mass Appraisal Documents

Is it possible to upload mass Appraisal Documents through LSMW or BDC.

Hi,
The appraisal system works on the basis of the column and row. So when you are doing an appraisal the values actually go in column wise and then row wise. The matrix is build by SAP.
You will not be able to directly use this one function module and build the program to upload. You will have to use the other function module also.
If you check FM HRHAP_DOCUMENT_CREATE you will have to pass all the values for the tables like S_HEADER_DATES, S_HEADER_STATUS, T_BODY_COLUMNS, T_BODY_CELLS, T_BODY_ELEMENTS, S_DOC_PROCESSING apart from the appraiser and the appraisee details. Then only the appraisal gets created. For getting the details for the above mentioned table you can use the FM HRHAP_TEMPLATE_GET_DETAIL. In this FM pass plan version and the template ID(which you have designed) and you will get the details. The same have to be passed to HRHAP_DOCUMENT_CREATE. This can be done in the program.
All the other values which are changing (like date of the appraisal, appraisers personnel number, appraisees personnel number etc) can be passed from an excel sheet.
You will have to get a program developed using the FM's.

Multiple Appraisal Documents via Status Overview Portal iView

Good evening experts,
We have encountered an issue on our system using both custom BSP and standard SAP Delivered BSP for Performance Management (HAP_DOCUMENT).
Logon via Manager self service, then select the link to maintain performance documents to open the Status Overview iView (you can view all directly subordinate employees and links to appraisal documents).
If you select to open two, three, four appraisal documents from the list and have them open simultaneously, we are having an issue for when the manager selects "save" on one of the documents, the header data will all of a sudden display the same appraisee name across all of the open documents. The data becomes corrupt, and data does not properly save.
Have any of you encountered this issue before when you have multiple appraisal documents open at the same time?

I guess it happens due to the session of a particular page not expiring , try to delete the cookies from the system and try once more,
Else you may report a bug to SAP.

Active substitute can access appraisal documents

Hi,
We are using the new Objective Setting & Appraisals functionality via ESS / MSS in SAP ERP Central Component 5.0.
When a line manager makes another line manager their substitute, the substitute line manager has READ access to the other manager's appraisal document and the other manager's line manager's appraisal document. Has anyone experienced this problem?
If the substitute manager gets an appraisal workflow item initiated from someone in the original manager's team then the substitute manager can access the appraisal and make changes to it. Is this standard functionality?

I think the line manager is using the "forward workitem" option to forward the appraisal documents.
I addition to this, the appraisal document shoul have the forwarded line manager as one of the appraisers. For this the HR admin team should change the header data of the appraisal document and then add the new line manager as also a appraiser.
Only then he can edit the appraisal document.

Performance Managment Appraisal Document - BADi- HRHAP00_DOC_BC

I need to provide the functionalities of Character count and Chacter restriction.
For this After my investigation I found I need to implement the BAdi HRHAP00_DOC_BC ( Business Check BADi).
Can any one provide me some sample code How I can implement My requirement.

The Badi "HRHAP00_DOC_BC" is a business check badi used to check the appraisal data in the appraisal document against the business check defined by the customer.
How to use: Create the Filter value in the OOHAP_BASIC tcode and add the Badi to the appraisal template under further template behaviour. This should make the appraisal docuemnt respond to the badi call.
Implementation expamle: This Badi has the method to check the data in the appraisal docuemnt against customer specific check points. Say if the custome wants the minimum rating per employee to be 1. Or Promotion as YES/eligible for employee rated at 5.
This check can be done here and an appropriate error can be raisedthrough the "return" (BAPI_RETURN ?) parameter of the method.
I dont have a SAP system with me right now. But this should be easiliy implementable by an ABAPer.

Appraisal Document not opening in Edit Mode

Hi Experts,
We have implemented PMS in our EP 7.02 SP6 and BP for ESS/MSS is 1.41 version. When I am launching the Appraisal Document from Appraisal Documents (WD UI) template is getting loaded in display mode with different tabs. In none of the tab I can enter the data. Appraisal Document status is Inplanning. This is also throwing a warning message "Missing configuration for phase in current status/substatus of appraisal document".
I have all the notes for OBN navigation.
SAP Note 1272076 - Update of BP for ESS in ECC600/EhP4 for appraisal navigation
SAP Note 1463821 - Performance Management Portal Configuration
SAP Note 1416756 - OBN Configuration in Performance Management
Can any one throw some light whether any configuration left from portal end or from R/3 end.

You are able to open appraisal document. This means either priority/object you choose in OBN is wrong to pick wrong document
Does the document you see have content you configured in template?
OR
OBN is good but your appraisal template has issues.
Check your template configuration in PHAP_CATALOG.
