  • SAP B1WS

    i am new to SAP B1WS. i have installed the webwrapper and i have recently purchased DI server license too. When i run WsdlServicesGenerator it runs fine and it doesnt give any error. how do i know whether the files are generated. There are already some wsdl files under webservices folder where the files where created in 2007.
    can some one help me out with this.

    The files are under <\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Web Services\WsdlServicesGenerator\wsdlFiles>
    just copy them and paste it into <\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Web Services\B1WS\WebReferences>
    and you will have complete new version.
    The reason you generate these files becasue if you have your own user defined fields on generating new wsdl files it captures the new user defined fields and please dont forgot to restart your di server service.

    Yes, I am specifying the license server.  I've tried it both ways (specifying and not specifying the server).  Here is my code:
                        SAPbobsCOM.Company sapCompany = new SAPbobsCOM.Company();
                        sapCompany.Server = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["SAPServerName"];
                        sapCompany.CompanyDB = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["SAPCompany"];
                        sapCompany.UserName = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["SAPUserID"];
                        sapCompany.Password = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["SAPPassword"];
                        sapCompany.language = SAPbobsCOM.BoSuppLangs.ln_English;
                        sapCompany.LicenseServer = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["SAPLicenseServer"];
                        sapCompany.DbServerType = SAPbobsCOM.BoDataServerTypes.dst_MSSQL2008;
                        int returnCode = sapCompany.Connect();

  • Problems with consuming SAP BW WSDL in Crystal Reports 2008

    Hello,
    I am trying to use the WSDL generated from the SAP BW in Crystal Reports 2008 using the XML and Web Services driver, but when I input the WSDL url Crystal does not interpret the url passed in as a WSDL url and the Services, Port and Method drop downs are blank.
    If I manually input the values I get the error below from Crystal
    "Logon failed.
    Details: Web Service Location is invalid
    WSDL Exception (at /wsdl:definitions/wsdl:portType/wsp:Policy): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL:Encountered unexpected element
    'Policy'."
    I know this is a valid WSDL as I have tested it with Xcelsius 2008 and I am able to get data back in Xcelsius. I found SAP note 1485601 that talks about Crystal Reports not being able to reading a WSDL generated by a SAP system.
               https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/1485601
    Based on the error message from Crystal above I feel that Crystal is unable to read the WSDL URL, has anyone else encountered this issue, if so is there a possible work around.
    We are running Crystal Reports 2008 V1 SP3 FP 3 and the SAP Integration Kit is also on the same service pack and patch level.
    Any help or insight into the issue will be very helpful.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Ingo,
    I am using the "XML and Web Services" connection option in Crystal Reports, and using a HTTP WSDL.Here is a sample of how WSDL url generated by SAP BW.
    http://servername:8000/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/bndg_DF6E553E117931F19C6B001560A1B616/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=100
    We have a two structure BW query (one for keyfigures and one as characteristic structure ), I know that this will cause the structure for the characteristics to show up as a single field and each element of the structure will result in a row of data, but we need the individual elements on the structure and we were hoping to get around the MDX driver limitation by using the web service connection.
    The data in the Crystal Reports 2008 needs to be in a crosstab layout as shown below, but if we use the Crosstab expert the key figures are stacked one under the other and also we cannot get the labels from the KPI structure to show up on the Crystal Reports.
                   Characteristic Structure
                 Column1            Column2                     Column3
    Label 1          KeyFigure 1          KeyFigure 2                    KeyFigure 3
    Label 2          KeyFigure 1          KeyFigure 2                KeyFigure 3
    Label 3          KeyFigure 1          KeyFigure 2                    KeyFigure 3
    This layout is already built in a Web Template and therefore we were planning on using the WSDL to get the layout directly into Crystal report, but I keep running into the WSDL error when I try to consume the WSDL in Crystal.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

      The WSDL file is obtained from the SAP ES Workplace, from the following URL:
    http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1lbiZjPTgwMCZkPW1pbg==)/render.asp?&id=4FFC1A97663611DA36BB000F20DAC9EF&fragID=&packageid=DBBB6D8AA3B382F191E0000F20F64781&iv=
      We have already tried both SAP files available from this location; neither works.
      Any insight you can offer to help us generate these proxy classes is welcome. Note that the SAP PDF file, "ESOA-Roadmap-Workshop.PDF" talks about one syntactic incompatibility with Microsoft WSDL (on page 70), but this solution does not work, and indeed the token 'parameters' does not appear anywhere in either SAP WSDL file for Create Maintenance Request eSOA.
      Thanks for any help you can offer!

    I have the same problem after renaming "parameters" to "parameter" and I'm using the same example ES that's in the document:

    I'm sure it's something really stupid since this example worked at some point for whoever wrote the doc...

  • WSDL Proxy Wizard and Slashes in Binding/Port Name of SAP Webservice

    Hi there,
    i have problems to get the Java Webservice Proxy Wizard liking the SAP WSDL File:
    Here is a small excerpt of it:
    <wsdl:service name="/SIE/TS_PL03_GIDService">
         <wsdl:port name="/SIE/TS_PL03_GIDSoapBinding" binding="tns:/SIE/TS_PL03_GIDSoapBinding">
    <soap:address location="../sap/bc/srt/rfc/SIE/TS_PL03_GID/version3?sap-client=025"/>
    </wsdl:port>
    </wsdl:service>
    The Editor is also underlining these Names.
    I've googled a bit in order to find out if there is a W3C restriction for having forward slashes in service Names but i've not found some so far.
    any help is appreciated, Alex

    Hi Thomas,
    With the newer version of NCo (> 2.0) there is no wizard. You would have to drag and drop the RFC/BAPI from the server explorer window of visual studio.
    First open the solution explorer, click on the SAP icon. Specify the credentials. And then from the list of RFC/BAPI drag and drop on SAP connector proxy page(design view). You can also specify the filter to restrict the listing of RFC/BAPI.
    Regards.

  • WSDL file from sap

    Hi all
      I need sap data as WSDL file for a requirement. What I am thinking is to create a BAPI and export to WSDL.  Is it possible to do this? I am in a conception that using WSDL file, the SAP data is always latest. hope this is correct.
    Else pls let me know how we have to export sap data as WSDL/XML schema as applicable.
    I have to use this WSDL file in Adobe form to create a offline interactive PDF which should always contain the latest data when opened.
    I know that ABAP WD is one option but that is not suitable for me because, I have to get this PDF doc uploaded to a collaborative environment(similar to forums) and whenever the user downloads the document , it has to fetch data from SAP.
    Please help me proceed further.
    Thanks in advance
    Karthika

    I fail to see how this question is Web Dynpro ABAP related.  You even state in your description that Web Dynpro ABAP isn't a suitable option for your requirement. Then why post the question in the Web Dynpro ABAP forum?  Please post your questions in the correct forum.

  • How to call a SAP service from adobe flex

    Hi experts,
    I need to call a webservice create from SAP BAPI  my URL is: http://xxxxxxxxx:8000/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/bndg_DD90E166ACE1B1F18AD8001B789FF0AD/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=200, with this URL I can test the webservice from WsNavigator.
    The operation is ZimrfcVerifOtUbica and the input structure is:
    ZimrfcVerifOtUbica
    > PiNumeroAlmacen (input parameter)
    > PiOTransporte (input parameter)
    The output structure is:
    ZimrfcVerifOtUbicaResponse
    >PoMessage (output parameter)
    I've created a view with two inputfield (one to PiNumeroAlmacen, one to PiOTransporte), one button and one label (to put the result value).
    but I don't know how to call the WS, I tried with this code:
    <mx:WebService id="ZCCONVERTERService"
         wsdl="http://xxxxxxxxx:8000/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/bndg_DD90E166ACE1B1F18AD8001B789FF0AD/wsdl11/allinone/ws_policy/document?sap-client=200;" useProxy="false" >
              <mx:operation name="ZimrfcVerifOtUbica" resultFormat="e4x">
                   <mx:request >
                        <PiNumeroAlmacen>AGR</PiNumeroAlmacen>
                        <PiOTransporte>01000</PiOTransporte>
                   </mx:request>
              </mx:operation >
         </mx:WebService>
    and I get this error: [RPC Fault faultString="Could not load WSDL" faultCode="Server.NoServicesInWSDL" faultDetail="No <wsdl:service> elements found in WSDL at ."].
    I tried with actionscript and runtime library but I get this error: java.lang.Exception: Unsupported element in WSDL file: UnknownExtensibilityElement
    I tried put in Data--> Import Web Service and I put the URL and I get Unable to load the WSDL.  Specify another URI.
    Other thing is for this webservice I've created a logic destination, and this webservice is used in a webdynpro aplication and works correctly. But now I need to use the same webservice in flex.
    Could you help me to call to this webservice?
    Thanks in advance.
    Jose

    I have could do it, but now I'm trying to do the same with a SAP standard service.
    Any idea?

    Somehow I solved this issue. I dont remember what exactly I did, as it was sometime back in December. I think I used the Wizard initially to do the configurations in Solution Manager and again i tried to do the same manually as the earlier one threw some errors.
    It seems the wizard proceeded half-way through and hence the entry was made in the database already and hence that error.
    Anyways thank you for replying me.
    best regds,

  • Invoking SOLMAN WS from a NON-SAP application

    Hello All,
    Has any one accessed the SAP SolMan web services from a non-sap application ? For my project, I need to talk to solman through its exposed operations as defined in the WSDL file
    http://mycompany.com:8003/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/ict_service_desk_api?wsdl
    When I invoke this WS through eclipse, after taking in the UID & PWD, it is returning appropriate values for:
    RequestSystemGuid
    RequestGuid
    Getpossiblevalues
    It fails for all other operations. For e.g. ListUnclosedIncidents returns and error called :
    ErrorCode (unsignedByte):  13
    Similary for the operation 'ReadCompleteIncident'
    What is it that needs to be done to surmount this error ? Any pointers, suggestions ?
    Thanks
    Karthik

    Hi, did you accomplish to solve your problem using the list unclosed incidents operation?

  • Error when calling Web Service in SAP Netweaver side.

    An error occurred while trying to make a request to URI 'http://us4184.wdf.sap.corp:1080/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_WS_SSC_USR_GET_USER_LIST/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sap-client=000'. This could be due to attempting to access a service in a cross-domain way without a proper cross-domain policy in place, or a policy that is unsuitable for SOAP services. You may need to contact the owner of the service to publish a cross-domain policy file and to ensure it allows SOAP-related HTTP headers to be sent. This error may also be caused by using internal types in the web service proxy without using the InternalsVisibleToAttribute attribute. Please see the inner exception for more details.
    Does anybody know where can I put the cross-domain policy in Netweaver platform?
    Best regards,
    Anders

    Hi Anders,
    The resolution of the crossdomain problem is not to store an cross-domain-policy file at the [SAP] webservice side; but instead it needs to be done at the (every...) webservice client. In case the client is an IIS based webapplication (and thus the ultimate end-users are accessing it via their browser), this is not such an issue. It there is sufficient to put an crossdomain.xml policy file in the IIS main virtual root of your 'client' .net webapplication (c:\inetpub\wwwroot). It also can be required or at least helpful to put a clientaccesspolicy.xml file; both at the main virtual root and in the virtual root of the specific webapplication
    In case of SharePoint application, the crossdomain.xml file must be stored in the WSS virtual root of that site; c:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\virtualdirectories\<your SharePoint webapp>
    Best regards, William.

  • Consuming a sap web service via jde 4.5.7 (ecc 6.0)

    Hi all,
    I have a question here, if u could help me, i have to call a sap webeservice via jde , but before i test a jde example by calling a public web service which is not a sap web service , i used to  give  url  as:
    connThread.get("http://www.webservicex.net/globalweather.asmx/GetCitiesByCountry?CountryName="Morocco;deviceside=true";
    i was not obliged to set the apn parameters and it does work
    here as it's mentioned , there is the access point, getcities ...  the method  name and the parameter name and the parameter value
    "Morocco", but i m asking how did we precise the methods  of an rfc sap, and the name parmeter and his value.
    have u any idea to help me understand how we call sap rfc, method name, parmaeter name, cz i m a newbie to sap and bb.
    but now when i try to call an rfc sap , i give the link
      connThread.get("http://hca-ecc.hca.group:8000/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_Z_WS/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sap-client=800;deviceside=true;apn=hca-ecc.hca.group;tunnelauthusername=forma02;tunnelauthpassword=hcaforma" );
    but it's always giving me transmission failed without any error that may help me when debugger run.
    Thakx in advance.

    Hello Merry,
    Have you tried searching 'blackberry' in SDN. I found following and many more links. It gives me impression that you may have to use MDS and also may be SAP Webdynpro technology for UI rendering.
    blackberry integration with Mobile Infraestructure
    There seems to be special site from blackberry for SAP integration (free registration).
    https://www.blackberry.com/CorpDevZone/download/SAP/sap.shtml
    Re: Steps to show data on actual Blackberry :) Urgent please....
    Hope this will give you some headway in resolving your issues.

  • Error while creating logical port from WSDL in SOAMANAGER

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a logical port for the webservice TerritoryCRMBasicDataByIDQueryResponse_In with the WSDL
    http://usciq9e.wdf.sap.corp:50077/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_TERRITORYCRMBASICDATABYIDQUERY/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sap-client=506
    In SOA Manager, I selected the proxy object and clicked on 'Create Logical Port' ,
    gave the name and description for the port and set it as default.
    The other settings are :
    Configuration type : WSDL based configuration
    WSDL base is : Via HTTP Access
    Then I gave the address of the WSDL in  the URL and the proper username and password. When I clicked on 'Apply Settings' I get the following error:
