SAP HCM P&F : FPM Form List UIBB Table Width...

Dear All,
I am stuck with strange issue. In SAP HCM Process & Forms with FPM Form, when we use UIBB List layout configuration, how can we set the width of the table?
During run time,table is displayed from left to right (column A-H) and all other form fields are from column A - G only, so the table looks very annoying.
Any suggestion how can I set the width of the list layout table in FPM Form ?

    Is there a way to access the saved variants programatically and apply them depending on the field catalog?
    We use the same view to display different tables and the user should be able to use different table layouts for different tables.
    Right now if the user customizes the layout for one table and then displays another the displayed fields do not match the table anymore since the variant was based on a different field catalog...

  • Number of characters in a dynamic form/list/mysql table

    Hi all,
    I mentioned this in a previous post but wanted to give it a home of it's own.  I have a dynamic list, updated and edited by a dynamic form.  However, with one of the columns I can only fit about 50% / 4 lines of text in.  I am unsure whether the problem lies in the Form, when ebtering the text - or the List when displaying it.  (I presume it will not be connected to the Mysql table itself...?)
    When I enter the info into the Update Form, the text area accepts all the characters.  However, when I hit update and am returned to the list only about half show.  Also, if I then return to the form to update again - only about half are shown in the Update Form - the sentence is simply cut off about half way.  This leads me to believe that it is a problem with the Update Form rather than the List - but hey, if I had the answers I wouldn't be here.

    let´s make a bet, OK ? My bet is that the corressponding database column which stores the textarea value is "varchar" and has been set to accept a max. value of approx. 100 chars, correct ?

    Adobe Forms is the second step in the HCM process, as HCM is the online process..in between of the process adobe form will come in to picture to fill online.
    What is the difference between Interactive/Non-Interactive Forms?
    In non-interactive forms,there is no database interaction.If u say interactive forms.if u enter data in the form data will be saved directly in the data base..

    OM(Orzanization Management),PA(Personel Adminstration) and PD(personel Admin) ..ect...

    from basis HCM dont required more help..only authorization and access only.
    from ABAP u need more..if u use standard backend system..some times data will not picked automatically at that time through BADI u need to fill the data to the form,and to do validation in the form level..ABAPER need to write scripting

  • Default value in dropdown field for FPM form in HCM Processes and forms

    Hi Experts,
    I am developing HCM Processes and forms using FPM forms and I had a dropdown list contains ten values. So, every time while opening the form first time, my dropdown field should be defaulted with fifth value from the list. How can we achieve this in dropdown field related to FPM Form.

    You would have to assign the default value to one your custom generic services.

  • HCM Process and Forms FPM Forms Process Browser

    Hello Everyone,
    I'm a Little bit confused. As in the "old Adobe Forms" days there was the Process Browser for Employee's and Managers to track the Requests they have been created. Now with the "new FPM Forms" days all the created Requests are not shown in the Process Browser any more. I debugged the Web Dynpro Application and found the code where all FPM Forms get excluded. Is there a new Application to track down the created Processes or is there no? Or maybe is there a hole new way to see the created Processes.
    I really would appreciate if someone could give me an advice. Otherwise I have to write my own Process Browser Application.

    Hello Everyone,
    now I can allready update my own Question with new informations.
    As I keept looking around I found out more. Actually there is a "Process Browser" for the "new FPM Forms", as there is a Process Lane in the HCM Landing Page. First Problem was that SAP Standard only includes this Lane for the HR Profesinal Landing Page. So I created my own Page for Employee Self-Services and added the Process Chip.
    I don't like the pre-filter Settings for the overview because the OData Service for the Overview only selects all Processes which have the Effective-Date between dueday - dueday + 1 week (if we think about a Process for a Bonus payment which will take effect next month the Manager is never gone see it in the overview until a week before the month ends). So I have to keep looking if I can set this via a Parameter.
    So when opening the Process Lane and change the Filter values I see the Processes in a nice way and even can open the Form and see Details like the Process Steps etc.
    BUT, my Question is still not answerd. What to do when somebody doesn't want to use the Landing Page? Some Company's can't use the Landing Page because of different reasons (roleout of new Browser is to fare in the future etc.)
    This can't be the only way of getting access to ongoing Processes, or is it?

  • Unable to test a FPM form based process in HCM Process & Forms ?

    Hi Experts,
    Am new to HCM Process & Forms, I created my first form on FPM and am trying to test it but am not able to do so.. can you all please help me figure out where I am going wrong.
    Here is what I am doing ...
    I have a build a FPM Form Scenario and Process. Now when I clicking on the Execute button in HRASR_DT and go the test screen I dont get the option for selecting the Web Dynpro Screen as Application Start Option.
    I also tried testing it through

    Yes, I had to Activate the business function HCM_ASR_CI_5 to get the "Option for Application Start" section in HRASR_DT.

    The one think that I am still having issues is that if I goto se80 and selected the WD Application ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP and using the Application configuration ASR_PROCESS_EXECUTE_OVP_CFG I execute it by clicking on Test....I get an error message saying
    "Process does not exist"
    Does this mean I can't test my process through se80 I will always have to go through portal and configure the launchpad to test my process ?
    Or am I missing some config or doing something wrong ?

  • Obtaining the list of data interfaced out of SAP HCM

    Hello,
    we got a good challenge from our partners in the business organization that we support. The Data Privacy officer on the business partner side would like to know:
    - what other systems are "takers" of the data from our SAP HCM instance
    - what data pieces (what tables, fields...) are being interfaced out
    - what is the frequency of that
    We are trying to maintain the document whenever a new interface is being built but in practice you know how it looks like.In order to have 100% confidence in the anwser I would want to pull such list from the system. Is there a way to do that? What would you suggest?

    Try the function below, pass the item name and get the Data provider for that particular item, you will have to do this for all the items in the template.

  • SAP HCM P&F - Update an infotype field which is NOT passed from Form

    Dear Experts,
    I have a requirement to update the Infotype with the entries in the HCM form (input by Employee in ESS) upon Manager's approval in MSS.
    We are achieving this functionality using HCM P&F (FPM) with an Workflow associated.  In this Workflow Standard Task (TS17900108) is used to Save the form data into the Database.
    But there is one field (APPROVED_DATE) in the Infotype whose value is not from the FORM but should be updated in the Infotype.
    Please help me with your inputs.

    I am extremely thankful to you for all the replies.  But, unfortunately, we are messed up with this requirement and we couldn't achieve it.
    In this regard, could you please give us the step-by-step procedure to achieve this functionality?
    Requirement in brief again:
    We have designed Overtime HCM form (FPM) using which employee requests for the Overtime.  This form is sent for the Manager for approval.  We have achieved this functionality.  With the Manager Approval, the database is also updated perfectly.
    Then we have added one more field in the infotype to track the Approved Date.  This field is to be updated along with the other fields (sent from FORM) upon the approval of the manager.
    And now though the other fields are updated correctly into the infotype, the approved date is not updated.
    Thanks a ton in advance for your guidance as this is very critical and urgent requirement for us.

  • Searching for table with definition FPM form or List

    Hello,
    Does someone known in which tables can I find the definitions of a FPM forms. I have build some processes in Process and Forms based on FPM and now I want to reuse the screen definition in a different developement tool.
    When I define a FPM configuration component I see that the form is a reponsive grid form. So there has to be a table or tables where the used fields and the position are saved.

    I am very new with SAP HCM P&F with FPM form. I am stuck with field search help functionality in FPM form. I have created on search help using 
    Web dynpro component to get all travel requests for all employees and linked it to FPM form field and its working fine....
    But.... my requirement is how to filter travel request based on the PERNR (employee number) field in FPM form.
    I think it can be achieved by using importing parameter LISTENER of interface IF_WD_VALUE_HELP_LISTENER but I am clueless how to pass PERNR to this interface to get travel requests for only employee number in field PERNR.
