SAP HR Infotype with Customized layout from Z table

hi Expert,

what i'm problem is:
1) How to control customized field , example ZFDET-NP1 .... for mode DISPLAY or EDIt. my customized field still in Edit mode (white color) even user select the DISPLAY mode.
2) also some of my IT9906 component as shown on screen, also face same problem.
i'm tried to set Group as 006, but still not success. Please Advice. tq.

hi all, i managed solved the problem. i'm not realized there i'm not activated the this module:
module modify_subscreen at PBO on each screen.
once activated and made setting every Sub-screen Tab as group1 = 00f and group3=004, Text input as group1=006. then problem solved. tq.

Formel Variable - how to fill with Customer Exit from control table

Hello Experts,
I have create in BEx-Analyser a formel Variable ZEXRATE1 filled through Customer Exit. In BW I had a "control tabel" with keyfigures.
In the query definition I have include 0FISCPER, 0FISCVARNT and 0VTYPE. This
are the keys which should give the values for the selectstatement to select my keyfigure from the "control table" to fill ZEXRATE1.
If it possible to do with Customer Exit (CMOD -> RSR00001 -> ZXRSRU01) or do I have to implement a Bapi. Perhaps someone can give me a code example.

Report with custom layout - formatting conditions

Hi,
There's a report with custom layout. What I need is to format some cells depending on the data they contain(like different background color). There's a tab named "Formatting Conditions" which should be meant for doing this and it works perfectly when report has tabular layout. But nothing happens in case of custom layout. Should this be done then in the "Report Layout Editor" and with Javascript? Portal version is 3.0.9.8.0.

Hi,
Some condtions like background color do not work in custom mode reports. This is because in case of custom reports the table html is specified by the user and the report renderer has no control over it.

BDC with MM01/ MM02 from MARA table

Can anybody suggest me for the following problem.
I want to construct a BDC with MM01/ MM02 from MARA table.
And I want the source file to be a notepad or Excel sheet. But i am not

Wrapping standard infotype with customer dynpro

Hello,
I'd like to change the values in standard fields based on the values from the customer fields.
I'd like to do this when DELIMIT runs in PA30.
I'm thinking of wrapping the standard infotype with a customer dynpro.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Could I use the customer dynpro to do all the value changes but still use the standard input checks?

The best option might be to create a field exit. Use report RSMODPRF to create field exit for Data Element DZMGEN. The report has a good help document, but it's pretty easy to set up the field exit.

Replication of BP linked with Customer number from R/3 to CRM

Hi,
We are trying to replicate BP linked with the customer number.
In R/3 when a BP is created automatically a customer is created for this BP (due to activation of synchrozination- BP -->Customer ) with different numbers and is available in the customer-general data tab of the BP in the field - Customer number.
Both BP and Customer are having different numbers this needs to be replicated to crm as a BP with the Customer number appearing in the Identificatio tab as R/3 customer number (identification type).
Example - A BP with number-100 is created then automatically a customer with number 2000 is attached to this BP -100. The same needs to be replicated to CRM. Both BP and customer shud have same GUID.
With the settings that is done now two records are getting created seperately one with BP number and other with customer number based on settings in PIDE.
How can we configure this?

Hi,
I think you are using some IS component in ECC. Hope you are using BUPA_MAIN and BUPA_REL objects for downloading BP's to CRM. In PIDE you do not need to maintain mapping for customer.

Replacing SAP Object Selector with Radio Button in ALV table in WD ABAP

Hi All,
I have a view in Webdynpro ABAP which displays data in an ALV table view (using SALV_WD_TABLE component).
By default we have the SAP Object Selector for selecting a particular row of the table. This has to be replaced with radio buttons.
I mean instead of using the SAP Object Selector, I need radio buttons at the start of each row.
What I have thought of is to make the SAP Object Selector Invisible and create another attribute for the radio button in the node which contains ALV output data.
Can you please let me know how to remove the SAP Object Selector from ALV output table and also how to include a column with radio button in the ALV output table.

I am working with HRASR00_PROCESS_EXECUTE WD component of MSS application. In order to generate the data, this in turn calls another component called DATAOBJECTPROVIDER. I need to make the table selection as none and replace the SAP Object Selector with the radio button.
Do you know under which method in DATAOBJECTPROVIDER do we need make the changes. I tried to search all the methods but couldnt understand a suitable one.

Create infotype with PM01+ field lenght in table

hello my HR friends, a friend of mine create an infotype with tcode PM01 so far everthing is ok but when she finished, i found an error and neither i or she knows how to solve it.

and problem is, in field that have the rectangle, this field have this possible values:

the problem is if a choose the first possible value, field stays like this:

Do anyone knows how to solve this problem or the solution is to put that possible values shorter or put text box bigger.

Instead of INT use DEC or NUMC data types.
To know why INT cannot be used try searching with Hardware Restriction in terms of general computing.

Count(*) , group by with multiple columns from multiple tables involved

I am relatively new to SQL.
Currently I have these few requirements, to display quite a number of fields from 3 tables for display of report.
In my query I need to:
1.) count(*)
2.) select quite a number of fields from table 1,2,3
However when count(*) is used, grouped by has to be used to.
How do I actually use group by with so many columns to be selected?
I have actually used the query below, but the count(*) returns 1, the correct output should be 3 instead.
select count(*), table1.col1, table1.col2, table1.col3, table2.col3, table2.col4, table2.col6, table3.col1, table3.col4, table3.col5
from table1, table2, table3
where
<conditions>........................
group by table1.col1, table1.col2, table1.col3, table2.col3, table2.col4, table2.col6, table3.col1, table3.col4, table3.col5

Hmm yes it actually does return count as 1 for each row. But there are 3 rows returned. E.g.

If I put the count(*) outside, it returns 3 , the correct output

Combining DD-MON field with YYYY field from GL table

I am running into issues with GL_Cancelled_Date which is displaying the wrong 4 digit year. The GL_Encumbered_Date for these rows is correct and I am looking at ways to combine these fields to output the correct full DD-MON-YYYY date. The below code displays all of the bad rows of data and the last two coloumns display the correct DD-MON and YYYY dates. But I am unsure of how to combine the DD-MON from GL_Cancelled_Date with the YYYY from GL_Encumbered_Date.
I have written out:

Here's one way to correct the table:

                                              - EXTRACT (YEAR FROM gl_cancelled_date)
WHERE   EXTRACT (YEAR FROM gl_encumbered_date)
    <> EXTRACT (YEAR FROM gl_cancelled_date)
When this finishes, gl_cancelled_date will always have the same year as gl_encumbered_date, but hte original months, days, hours, minutes and seconds of gl_cancelled_date will be unchanged. (Exception: If the original gl_cancelled_date is February 29, and gl_encumbered_date is NOT in a leap year, then the day will be changed to 28, since there is no February 29 in the correct year. If the original gl_cancelled_date is February 28, and gl_encumbered_date IS in a leap year, then the day will be changed to 29. This can be fixed if it's a problem.)

If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for all tables involved, and also post the results you want from that data.
If you're asking about a DML statement, such as UPDATE, the sample data will be the contents of the table(s) before the DML, and the results will be state of the changed table(s) when everything is finished.
Point out where the statement above is getting the wrong results, and explain, using specific examples, how you get the right results from the given data in those places.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (e.g., 11.2.0.2.0).

I am trying to update a table with info from another table on the same db with same table name. I just want the info to be the same , no primary key or constraint involve just a straight replacement of records and I keep getting errors WITH THE TABLE not

If those two same named tables are in the same database then they have to be in different schemas. If you mean they are in the same server instance, then they may be in different databases, besides the "table not being recognized" error,
anyway you should use the fully qualified table names, that is database.Schema.Table(If across instances, ServerName should be prefixed) to avoid the table unrecognized error.
Using Identifiers As Object Names
With the fully qualified names, your update statement can be like below.
UPDATE
db1.schema1.VNDFIL
SET EOBTYP = srcTbl.EOBTYP, EDI_X12_835_VERSION = srcTbl.EDI_X12_835_VERSION

Breakout table (fill table with matching data from another table)

I've been trying to study old discussions about breakout tables. I feel I'm close, but still no cigar :-)
In plain english, I'm trying to autocreate rows with data on a table, based on matching values from another table. E.g. have a table to display all rows where type = AssetX
I have attached a screenshot of my "master table" called Assets:
I'm looking to prefill Asset name, Total from this table and populate a new table called e.g. Greenhouse
Where I'd be adding more data (date, income, expense).
Any help whould be greatly appreciated.

Issue while importing customer records from Staging tables

hi,
we are trying to insert customer records from other erp system to oracle ebs.
We are able to push the data into staging table and call the procedure 'hz_cust_account_v2pub.create_cust_account'
Now we could see the data being entered in 'HZ_PARTIES'
but could not see the records from frontend.
On the other hand in case of vendors and employee we could see the data from frontend as well
Is there any particular flag or field we are missing?

Has the " DQM Serial Sync Index Program" run after you have run the import? If not try and manually submit this job and see if you can view your changes
