Sap hr system table

Please Let me know What is SAPHR System Table nuber ?

Hi,
All personnel administration tables start with PA and the infotype number behind it.
All personnel development/OM tables start with HRP and infotype (e.g. 1000) behind it.
All recruitment tables start with PB and infotype number behind it.
There also are HR tables that start with HRA, HPD, HRT, etc. The easy way to get a list is to use SAP's 'Application Hierarchy', transaction SE81 (select all HR modes in the tree that you are want a list of tables for, click on the 'Information System' button, under Abap Dictionary --> Basic Objs, double click on 'database tables', increase your 'maximun no. of hits' and execute).
Go to transaction se11...type in PA* do dropdown and enter, do the same for HRP* and you will have most of the HR transaparent Tables.
Transaction SE16 is also useful.  As mentioned above, the PA infotype tables all begin with PA and are followed by the infotype number e.g. PA0001
PA* - PA infotype tables
PCL* - HR clusters
PB* - recruitment tables
PCERT - payroll posting runs
Another useful table is CATSDB for CATS, and PTEX2000 for the CATS transfer table for infotype 2001/2002.

  • Non-SAP Source systems for gas and power trading operations

    Hi Experts, I have this client who has no R/3 systems. They have few MS Access databases, Oracle systems annd MS SQL DB. I have seen some of the most commonly used tables in all the databases and doesn't look like there are not even a single InfoObject that is similar to any one in Business Content. Now this makes me feel that I need create everything from scratch. Can anybosy guide me on the best way to go about extracting data from this non-SAP systems. Right from connecting to these systems to extracting data in BI to creating some meaningful reports.
    They do not have the concept of Master data here. All they have is Data in the MS Access databases.I need some assistance from experts here in how do I go about organizing this.

    hi,
    The BW can be connected to Non-SAP data using DB or UD connect.
    The data in Non-SAP source system is staged in form of tables.
    You can extract the data using Data Source based on DB or UD connection.you can define new info objects and data flow which extracts the data. In DS description you can mention the Non-SAP source system tables from where you want to extract the data, after that u can mention the fields to be extracted in BW.

  • Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System

    Hi,
    I downloaded Extracting Values of a Field from a Database Table in SAP ECC System Using MII 12.0
    senario from sdn. I'm trying to do that senario in MII 12.05. But I have problem with section 6 in page 7 (you can supply senario from sdn)
    "6- Under the loop of Repeater, use action u2018Rowu2019 to append just the string part of the WA which will display only values for field u2018Batchu2019"
    I did not find WA elemen in Output element of Repeater_0
    How can I create WA element?
    Thanks.

    Cemil,
    Set up a SAP JCo Interface action block.  Use the RFC name RFC_READ_TABLE.
    In the link editor map the table to "MARA", set RowCount to something small (20 is good sample size) and create an xml transaction property named FIELDS and copy the following into it:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><FIELDS>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>MATNR</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>MTART</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>BSTME</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>XCHPF</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
          <item>
            <FIELDNAME>DATAB</FIELDNAME>
            <OFFSET/>
            <LENGTH/>
            <TYPE/>
            <FIELDTEXT/>
          </item>
        </FIELDS>
    Then link the Transaction.FIELDS to SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/FIELDS}.  You may run into problems with two other fields and optionally they can be removed (set link type to remove xml).  I usually remove them initially for testing.  The two fields are:
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/NO_DATA}
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Request{/RFC_READ_TABLE/INPUT/DELIMITER} (or you can set this to something like a semicolon,";" or tilda,"~".  I find it easier to caclulate position by length, but that is my own idiosyncrasy.)
    Once you get this one working, we can explore how to do filtering on the dataset.  Your output should be something like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <RFC_READ_TABLE>
      <INPUT>
        <DELIMITER />
        <NO_DATA />
        <QUERY_TABLE>MARA</QUERY_TABLE>
        <ROWCOUNT>20</ROWCOUNT>
        <ROWSKIPS>0</ROWSKIPS>
      </INPUT>

    Add a repeater sourced on:
    SAP_JCo_Interface_0.Response{/RFC_READ_TABLE/TABLES/DATA/item}
    Link your repeater output to a tracer with this:
    Repeater_0.Output{/item/WA}
    What you will see in each tracer message is a single line of data with all the fields contents concatenated together.  You can look up what each field in the string represents by the length of the field as returned in the Response segment of the RFC_READ_TABLE rfc.  Then you can parse out the data you are interested in.
    Give this a try and let me know how you succeeded.
    By the way, I could not find the scenario you referred to.  Can you post a link?
    Regards,
    Mike

  • How to reduce the size of System tables(RS*) in SAP BW?

    Hi All,
    We need to reduce the size of a system tables(RS*) in SAP BW system without impacting anything to system.
    Could you please let us know is there any Global program/Function module to do the same.
    If not if you know any individual program or other way to reduce the system table size it will be very much useful.
    Sample System tables(RS*) are given below.
    RSHIENODETMP
    RSBERRORLOG
    RSHIENODETMP~0
    RSBMNODES
    RSBKDATA
    RSBMNODES~001
    RSRWBSTORE
    RSBMLOGPAR
    RSBERRORLOG~0

    Sudhakar,
    There are tables you can archive / clean up and then there are tables you cannot do anything about. For example - if your system has a million queries - the RSRREPDIR , RZCOMPDIR tables will be large.
    The tables that typically get archived are :
    1. BALDAT / BALHDR - application log tables
    2. Monitor tables - search for Request archiving which will tell you how to archive the same
    The other tables -
    First you would have to understand why they are large in the first place ... if you have too many hierarchies - then some tables can be huge - delete some of the hierarchies you do not need and the table sizes should come down.
    RSRWBSTORE - this is the internal store for workbooks - this will have the last executed version of the workbook stored in the table. This information is called when the workbook is executed without refreshing the variables - which is why you get the workbook output first and then get prompted to refresh the variables.

  • Lots of tables in the non-SAP source systems

    Hi All,
    Earlier I asked a question on SDN about having about 50 tables in non-SAP source systems like SQL, Oracle, etc. According to the functional/business folks here, I'm supposed to be extracting only 1 or 2 fields from many tables. So I got a reply from SDN that I should recommened creating Views and client also agreed. Now I do not see any official documentation from SAP that that says that I should create Views in the source ysystem wherever it is possible. Any help in getting this information is very helpful.

    Hi,
    1. authorization: normally the database admin create you a new user. It's easier to get read authoriziation for your own views.
    2. a problem is the naming convension of tables and fields - the BW/database connector supported not all. create the fields
    - in upper case and
    - a length of ... (16 characteristcis?)
    - without special signs.
    => looking in service.sap.com/notes for "DB connect"
    3. changing of data source: when you need a second table for the data extraction, then you have to create a new datasource.
    => create a view directly (its the same to multiprovider. Don't work with the object directly - create a view).

  • How to analyse the main memory usage in SAP ERP systems?

    Dear expert,
    I'm doing a research work about analysing the main memory usage in SAP ERP systems.
    I would like to find out what is load in buffers and when. That means, which process have the control of these memories and which are always performing something, tables loaded, and so on. Becuase I tried to isolate the space needed by a simple webservice call (create one material) in my test system, but even after a $SYN there are something stored in the buffers. I use a BAPI to avoid the execution of the SAPGUI and its repercussion in the system (I know the BAPI called uses resources too, but when I run this BAPI to get the statistics, it's like ST02, I get different values). Could someone help me or recommend something specific to read? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Dear expert,
    Thanks a lot for your answer. The point is now that I want to isolate the memory used by a webservice that I call, I mean, I would like to know how many memory is this webservice using in each buffer. And could you tell me where could I read something about the order that things happen in SAP System when a webservice is called (always memory related), that's which steps are done to store data in buffers and so on. Thanks in advance.

  • SAP Source System showing up as BI Source System in RSA1

    I have 2 BW systems and 2 CRM Systems.  In one BW system, when I create a SAP Source system in RSA1, It gets listed as a SAP Sources system along with ECC and all the rest.
    The Logicial Systems and RFC Connections all appear to be the same between each pair.
    In the other system, using identical procedure, it the source system gets listed as a BI Source System.  The 2 CRM systems have identical components and version levels as do the 2 BW systems.
    Any idea why and if this would make any difference and how to correct.

    Hi,
    To fix this, you need to do a restore (& not a delete) of the source system in BW, having deleted the RSBASIDOC entry in the source OLTP system.
    This will force the BW system to interrogate the RSBASIDOC table entry in the source system again and it should then realise that it is an R/3 system (not a BW system) and move the entry to the SAP folder.

  • Crystal reports over SAP r/3 tables

    I am trying to write a Crystal report over SAP r/3 tables (BSIK and LFA1) with no success.
    I have CRpts installed along with the "client side" SAP integration kit.  When i try to create a new connection to my development ERP system i am asked to select an available system, but the dialogue box is empty.   I can however connect to a SAP BW query successfully using the SAP toolbar that has been added when installing the integration kit.
    Is there anywhere a set if instructions to successfully install and configure CRpts to report over SAP r/3 tables ?
    Andrew Fox

    Make sure to define an environment variable called SAPLOGON_INI_FILE in the system your CR designer is installed on. The variable should contain the path to your SAPlogon.ini file including the file name. eg if saplogon.ini is found under c:\Windows then the variable shoud be set to c:\Windows\saplogon.ini . Restart the CR designer and try again.
    If the system list remains empty then locate to saplogon.ini file, open it using Notepad and choose the Save as option. All you have to do is to overwrite the existing file (ie. do not change the name) after changing the encoding to UTF-8 (drop-down list at the bottom of the Save as window)
