SAP license auditing transaction code

Hi,
Which t-code will be used for analyzing SAP user license audit?
Regards
Kishore

We can use USMM and SLAW and following is the link for the same.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/ee/ee133bfae0750ce10000000a11402f/content.htm
Steps
1)Categorize the user like cat 1 etc before starting the audit.
2)External communication to SAP should be on to send the results to SAP,.
Please let me know if there is something else you have done.

  • Question about sap license audit, could you  help me

how many users can my test system use ?   Does SAP concern the users I used in test system ?
could you give me some information about that?  thanks a lot.

    Hi,
We have hundreds of user on our production system, and several developer user and have been go live several years ago (SAP R/3) and proceed license audit annualy.
Typically, license audit is calculated by the number of user on your production system and the number of developer user on your (development) system. Hence, the number of usual user (which is not developer user) on your test system should not be brought into SAP license audit calculation.
to proceed, first you have to clasify contractual user type via SU01, and then proceed it using USMM transaction.
    hope it help you,
    rgds,

  • SAP License Audit and DDIC user

Hello, we recently completed our first SAP License Audit and an issue came up with our DDIC user in the productive client. According to the SAP Licensing and Auditing documentation DDIC is not counted in clients 000 and 001, however we have DDIC in client 400 (our productive client) and I set it as a SAP Web AS User in the Contractual User Type. However, we should not have to pay for a standard SAP user and I was going to remove DDIC from client 400, but I see it's needed for transports.
How can I assign DDIC a user type that does not consume a SAP License?
    - Regards,
    Richard

    Hi Richard,
You don't need to and should not remove DDIC and SAP* from your productive client.
As Nick mentioned already, please assign License type 'Test' to the standard users SAP*, DDIC etc in your productive client (400).
When the users are defined with 'TEST' license type, they will not be measured in System License Audit report.
    Cheers !!
    Satya.

  • SAP Inbox: Send Transaction code link to the SAP Inbox

    Hi,
I have a requirement, which is as follows.
I need mail to be sent to the SAP Inbox every morning.
In the body, there should be a link. When the user double-click's on the link, a transaction code should be executed in the background, thus bringing the user to the screen showing a report.

  • Find SAP-Query from transaction code

    Hi All,
I want to find the query related to transaction code.
Someone has created query and assined t-code to same.
I want to make changes in the same query but i m not getting that query.
I dont know the infoset or user who created it.
Suggest me the way to find it .
    Regards,
    Deepak.

    Hi,
1.Goto SE93 and enter your transaction code.
    2. Screen Fields :
        I. D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE  : should be 'AQ' in case of SQ01 queris.
II. D_SREPOVARI-REPORT: Gives the name of the user group and query areas/environment
         for ex. D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = TEST          G
Means user group 'TEST' from 'Global Area' i.e. 'G' stands for global area and if G is not there then user group is in 'Standard
         area'
III. D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT : Gives the name of the query.
    3. Then from SQ01 select the respective area global or standard.
    4. Select respective user group by clicking on 'Other User Group ' button (Ctrl + F7 ) and then you can find out the required query in that user group.
Let me know if this suffices your requirements.

  • TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED during run of SAP licence Audit

    hello,
when trying to process the SAP License Audit transaction YSALSA on PSO with the full data amount a runtime error " TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" occurs.
I checked the runtime error and found the following.
The amount of storage space (in bytes) filled at termination time was:
    Roll area...................... 2718352
    Extended memory (EM)........... 2002743520
    Assigned memory (HEAP)......... 1996993152
    Short area..................... " "
    Paging area.................... 131072
    Maximum address space.......... 4294967295
These are the parameters set for memory
    abap/heap_area_dia: 2000683008
    abap/heap_area_nondia: 2000683008
    abap/heap_area_total: 2000683008
    it is a 64 bit HP-UX system.
I would like to know if there is any other solution rather than changing the memory parameters.
    Thanks,
    Rajiv

    Hello,
Its a memory issue, In ST22 you can see how much memory was occupied and how much was requested.
Sometimes this could be due to other program or activites which have consumed larger parts of memory and other programs can not get there share. Have you tried at the times where there is less workload.
As suggested in other post, You can increase the memory accordingly.
    Regards,
    Vamshi.

  • Obsolete / Out dated Transaction Codes list in SAP HR / HCM Module

    Hi Experts,
Please let me know the Obsolete / Out dated Transaction Codes list in SAP HR / HCM Module.
    Thanks in advance.
    Samanvita.

    Hi
Thanks for your reply. I know the concept of Obsolete Positions.
what I want is the list of Transaction Codes which are out dated / Obsolete due to release of new versions by SAP.
Any Transaction Codes are out dated in SAP HR Module, or SAP came up with new Transaction Codes with (same + extra functionality), so that we can use the new Transaction Codes.
    Example: SE16, SE16N
Please let me know those Transaction Codes.

  • Transaction code for Weekwise/Daywise calender data

    Hi Experts,
I know what below two function modules do. But there must be weekwise or daywise calendar behind this and defined in SAP.
OR from where these function modules are getting calender data? Where can i see that in sap? Any transaction code?
DATE_GET_WEEK - To get the week number of the passed date
WEEK_GET_FIRST_DAY - To get the first day of the week
    Thanks,
    Yogesh

    Dear Friend Keshav,
Good if possible for you to give correct answer. I was not aware that transaction code is part of code.

  • License Audit and System Measurement for J2EE Systems

    Hello,
I'm working on our annual license audit at this time, and for the first time the measurement plan includes non-ABAP systems:  Enterprise Portal, Adobe Document Services, NWDI, and even the Java developers' NWDS installations.  I'm fully conversant with the use of USMM and SLAW on the ABAP side, but I have no idea how to measure the J2EE systems, and I am unable to find any documentation on this.  I did find one powerpoint presentation that talked about measuring Portal and Duet systems, but it's only valid for 6.40-based systems, and we are a 7.00 shop (NetWeaver 2004s).  In any case, when I tried the suggestion in the presentation, it simply didn't exist for our Portal or ADS systems on 7.00.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to proceed?
    Thanks,
