SAP R/3 - START ERROR

Hello guys!
After installation of SAP, I am with problems in hours of the start of sap. Below the Log:

Hi Ademir,
I'm wondering how you have loaded your database when there is no dscdb6.conf file. But it is easy to create a new one. Just execute the following:
> dscdb6up -create <connect user password> <sidadm password>
connect user is the user used for database connections. Normally it is sapxyz for SID XYZ. But you should check your environment. The name could be found in variable dbs_db6_schema. You should have supplied the password during installation. If you don't remember or you want to choose a different password, change it and then create or recreate dscdb6.conf with the above command.

     I am trying to install sap ecc 60u ides. During start instance (22nd step of installation) sap couldn't start .
sapinst log says:

The error in the SAP MMC is, Database: > ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
After all debugging / changing so many entries in tables etc.
sqlplus / - works fine
sqlplus /@te2 - works fine
Now I got the error: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified, sap
but sqlplus sapte2/password@te2 gives the above error.
I changed the pw for sapte2 using brconnect and directly inserting into db table.
r3trans -d - works fine as well.
It could connect /@te2 to get the pw for sapte2 and could successfully connect to oracle using sapte2/pw@te2.
I am totally lost and gone mad. Could anyone help? Thanks

   The issue is solved and SAP is up and running. The issue was, the sap service user was created in oracle with password. But it should have been created 'as identified by externally'.

SAP J2EE Engine Start Page / Error 404

Hi there,
i have a problem.
I restartet my JAVA ONLY System (a Portal)
The System comes up. All Log files are clean. No Error no warnings etc.
When i now want to connect to the ""SAP J2EE Engine Start Page"
via: http://host.name.com:50000/index.html
The following error occurs:
404 Not Found
SAP J2EE Engine/7.00
The requested resource does not exist.
Details: Go to main page of this application!
as i say.. The engine comes up normal.
ALL really all other applications are running.
When o go to:http://host.name.com:50000/nwa or /useradmin or any other link.
All works great. Only the Startpage cannot be displayed.
So did anyone have a clue why this don`t work?

The index.html was deleted.. i copied it over from our other Testportal.
it was in:
/usr/sap/SID/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps/sap.com
anywhere here ... i forgot the exactly Path.
eventuelly you can find the path with httptrace or so?

Sap Archiving u0096 STO error on version ECC 6.0

Hi experts. I take a long of time with this error and I hope that you can help me. Explain the program.
We have a archiving project of no standard objects. This objects run on Sap version 4.6C, but now, on version ECC 6.0, the Store program give a execution error. The log of the STO Job on Sara transaction is the follow:

When i run "startsap" on our Portal CI, i see the following error message in: std_server0.out

What does this mean and how i can i eliminate this error message?

The issue we have is that "startsap" runs successfully, but then the server nodes go into a "Starting Applications" state and stay there. There seems to be an issue when starting up the irj application. If you want i can you the std_server<#> file if that helps.

Installation of TREX 7.0 on 64bit windows then SAP does not start

I have implemented EP7 Portal (NW04s SP11) on a MS-SQL DB with windows 2003 64bit hardware. I also want to install TREX which is version 7.0 on the same server.
After installing TREX the http_server would not start. I followed OSS note 1008299 that instructed me to set IIS to run in 32 bit mode as TREX 7.0 really isn't a 64 bit application!!
I performed this but now the service for my SAP Java instance will not start:
error : "The dynamic link library librfc32.dll could not be loaded" (SCS does start OK)
Its obviously got something to do what I've just performed...
any help anybody?

Hi Simon,
Actually trex was not released for a 64 bit component. But in the installation CD, it was printed mistakenly.
For that only, SAP has given note 1008299 to run IIS in 32 bit mode instead of 64 bit mode, because although you have done the installation as a 64 bit machine, its for 32 bit platform only.
Running the script will start your IIS on a 32 bit mode and also, change your executables, file folder as well.
Previously, i also had the same problem and once i did as per the note, its working perfectly now.

       My system configuration:
      Solution Manager 7.0
      Windows server 2003 32-bit
      ABAP Stack is working fine.
     1.After SGEN in client 001 all the users like J2EE_ADMIN,J2EE_Guest,Slddsuser,SAPJSF etc were deleted.
     2.I have manually create all the users and assigned the respective roles.

Which UME user you are talking about i checked in config tool where there is no user in UME.
Kindly advice how to create a UME User if not available to start the server.
Note: Http://servername;57000/ is says that dispatcher working but not connect to JAVA Server.

SAP does not start

Hi All,
I was experimenting with my SAP IDES and unfortunately it is not working now.
Here is the problem.
When I start the server, the dispwork.exe starts, but fails to connect to the message server. But message server runs successfully. Ultimately dispwork.exe stops.
Here is what I did and what I think the problem is..
I went to RZ11, and added a new parameter in the Instance server
i.e msg_server port = 2000.
Before doing that there was no parameter msg_server in RZ11.

there could be many reason when SAP doesn't start specially (Disp+Work) Please check the following setting ....
1. Check Virtual Memory settings ...Change it upto 4096kb.
2. Check ur Environmental Variables : User Variables (JAVA_HOME) & System Variables(PATH) ... Check hav u mentioned JAVA path Correctly or not ? do compile JAVAC at c:\ ... in ur command prompt to check java set correctly or not.
3. Please make sure your windows 2003 server is DNS configured.If not you have to install and configure Microsoft Loop Back adaper (It would at least loop back to the same server like virtual DNS). You also enter c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
<Your ipaddress> < Your hostname>
4. Check Your STARTUP Profile (Path : usr\sap\sid\sys\profile\START_DVEBMGS00) where in that profile check the bottom _DW=dispwork.exe line.... if u find #* before _DW then also your dispwork.exe won't run. #* means disable. so please check this file.
5. Lastly Check your Database... if its oracle .. check weather its in open mode or not. if database won't respond then also same prob will raise.
6. Check ur services...

I've already used sapgenpse seclogin -p <PSE File> -x <PIN> to create a pin. I've also gone and deleted the old pin that used to be there and created a new one.
Also I noticed it says "Beware: changing a PIN of a PSE will not auto-update the SSO-credential
Beware: adding a new credential will not auto-update an existing credential"
So once you change it how do you update it? Do you need to reboot the Web Dispatcher or do you just need to restarted the service?

I am also facing same issue.
I have added credentials also and successfully done.

SAP doesn't start

Since 4 weeks we've the problem that our sap doesn't start if we are using our SAPMMC console.
We receive the attached message in the dev_disp log.
The restart of our sap system is only possible after we've restarted the complete server.

SAP System Message: Syntx error or generation error in a screen

dear sap basis gurus,
i am currently having problems signing on to our DEV server. i get this error message:

Syntx error or generation error in a screen.
it won't let me log on.
there were no changes made on the server (i.e., profile parameters) lately. it was working really fine after our support package level upgrade about 5 months ago.
have you encountered this problem before? please help me as there we have two imminent go-lives.

i have already resolved this issue by just freeing up some space from our disks. not one of them was full though.

Java Web Start Error in through codebase url with SSL

I have created one Java web-start plugin application in swing which is launched from PHP site at browser plugin.
All things were working fine, but when we implemented SSL in our site it stopped working. And when we try to start the application from browser it thorws error like:
Unable to launch Application.
In Java console it puts following log:
JNLP Ref (...): NULL !
