  • Payload Encryption SAP PO 7.4 Java stack only

    Hi Folks,
    I am trying to implement Payload encryption in SAP PO 7.4 Java stack only. I implemented the encryption as suggested by SAP as per the following links
    Encrypted Message content on database level (AAE) :
    Encrypting Message Content on Database Level (AAE) - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library
    and then configured Service interfaces for encrption:
    Configuring Service Interfaces for Encryption - SAP NetWeaver Process Integration - SAP Library
    But I am still seeing the payload in the message monitor. Is it because of the roles that I has been assigned to me. If so what are the roles that needs to be taken out from my profile to not see the payload?
    Regards
    Kalyan.

    >>>Encrypted Message content on database level (AAE) :
    This encrypts the message content at the database level not at the monitoring level.
    If you would like to restrict the access to "view payload" for specific interfaces, then refer to below blog -

  • SAP CRM 7.0 Java AS

    Dears,
    i have install SAP CRM for Apab and CRM for Java...
    My Problem when we try to login using SAP GUI on crm java the error message appeare as following :
    <servername>:SAPdp05 Not reached
    Connection Error 161
    connection refused;;
    The service is running, and all parameter on sap gui is true,,
    Please Advice,,
    Thanx in advance

    DO you want to insatll the Java Crm for the same host with the same SID if yes you should have used the option for ABAP+JAVA installation.
    for th installation we always use sapinst for the installation Master CD.
    JSPM is the tool for applying the JAVA patched as ve have SPAM/SAINT in the ABAP side.
    When you use JSPM it can upgrade the patches to the final level.You dont to apply the patchesin sequence to reach the final level as in ABAP.
    you van find JSPM in /usr/sap/SID/DV*/j2ee/JSPM and then run ./go in unix to run JSPM.
    Please get back if you need more information.

  • Message flow in SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only for ABAP Proxy synchronous scenario with Oracle DB

    Dear Experts,
    I am working on a synchronous scenario Sender ABAP Proxy <===> SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only <===> Oracle Database.I have successfully
    configured all the proxy configurations as well both Sender SOAP and JDBC receiver channels are showing no error when pinged from
    Cc monitoring in NWA.
    1.During testing at Tx SPROXY , I am triggering a message and after 5 minutes I receive an PARSING error message with 2 messages in ECC
    local IE i.e. Tx SXMB_MONI.
    Note : In NWA , I can see only 1 message that too in cancelled status.
    2.Seeing the trace of the messages I assume that the messages have not moved from sender ECC system. I am still confused with flow of message
    from the Message Audit log. Audit log of error messages.Could any one share the full Audit log of a successful message generated in SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only.
    3.I observed that the QIN Scheduler status in ECC is in INACTIVE status. There is no queue id for 2 messages generated in ECC. Does
    it should in ACTIVE status in Tx SMQR..
    Regards
    Rebecca

    Hi Thomas,
    Valuable inputs..
    1. Since I don't have any audit log for successful message, would you be able to share referring to the
    below screenshot whether the message was put into receiver JDBC adapter and JDBC adapter tried to retrieve the Select response from Oracle Database.
    2.I have done some setting in Advance mode of the receiver JDBC to increase the time out and other parameters as per SAP note but still the issue is same. If you perhaps have some experience in such scenarios, please share some input so that I can ask the Oracle Database administrator exactly what is required from our side.
    3.Regarding the slow response from Oracle , there was some suggestion that the datatype of the request and response should match the column name of the Oracle database. I did that.. Do you have any more suggestion that may be hampering the generation of the response message from the Oracle like SAP note or document.
    Regards

  • How to find Traces in SAP PI 7.3 java only stack

    Hello Experts,
    How to find the trace logs and pipeline steps in sap pi 7.31 java only stack, which we will get in below areas,
    1. In sap pi dual stack , SXMB_MONI (abap stack) in window 1
    2. In sap pi dual stack , monitoring--->integration engine--->message monitoring----> xml messages(data base)
    I  already found some blog related to the logging but i doesn't help to find the traces which we get in SXMB_MONI (window 1, trace)
    http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2013/09/18/tracing-in-sap-pi-731-single-stack
    Your suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi,
    In Single stack we go for ICO instead of classical configurations(Pipe line steps(SA,RA,RD,ID)).
    Link you are referring is to find the display of traces that you put in your UDF or Java mapping or XSLT mapping .
    If you want to see the traces/payloads of end to end flow ,then you can see the same either in your communication channel monitoring/receiver channel or via message monitoring/adapter engine-->message log
    If you want to see payloads in the below steps .you can also do so by following the below link.
    Message Staging and Logging Options in Advanced Adapter Engine of PI 7.3x
    Processing Step
    Description
    AM
    After mapping step, but before outbound schema validation
    VO
    After outbound schema validation
    BI
    After sender adapter processing, but before inbound schema validation
    MS
    Before mapping step
    VI
    Before scenario look-up step (check if scenario is local Advanced Adapter Engine based or dual-stack based involving Integration Engine)

    It is also the recv interface for RFC sneder

  • What versions of the SAP Enterprise Portal support Java 5

    What versions of the SAP Enterprise Portal support Java 5?
    Example:
    If we were to use Java 5 code for an iView what versions of the portal would it run in?
    I have reviewed the Product Availability Matrix (PAM) and this is not clear. All I can find are references to JAVA 4 when using EP 6.

    Hi Alejandro,
    Currently, the version of SAP NetWeaver that is J2SE 5.0 as well as Java EE 5 compatible is the [SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (NW CE)|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/nw-ce]. It does not provide the "full" Portal capabilities, however it does come with a "Portal Lite" and supports Portal applications development scenarios.

  • Java Interface Question.

    There are classes in the Java SDK, such as the Interface:
    org.w3c.dom.Document
    that have factory methods in them that carry out actual operations.
    But how can this be possible, because when I program an interface:
    public interface test {
    public void setString(String s);
    It will only compile thus, with no implementation on the method signatures?
    How do Java interfaces with factory methods to this?
    org.w3c.dom.Node is another one. Where does the functionality/method implementation
    come from?

    public interface MyInterface {
         public void method1();
    class MyImplementation implements MyInterface {
         public void method1(){
    public class MyFactory {
         public static MyInterface createMyInterface(){
              return new MyImplementation();
    public class Test{
               public static void main(String args[]){
                      MyInterface x=MyFactory.createMyInterface();
                      x..method1();
    }Now can you understand this? Assume all These classes are separate classes. This is not a problem with inner classes. Before make a reply, try to understand it or post a reply as saying it is not clear rather than posting this kind of post.

  • SAP Web Dynpro With Java

    Hi Guys
    A situation at work has forced me to learn web dynpro    with java. I already have some experience with the ABAP    web dynpro   . Now the question is how much "java" do i need to learn to learn sap WebDynpro    based on java. Should I first try and get a fair 'hands on' on core java and then shoot for web dynpro    or should I take the other approach, that is just learn as much java as is required for web dynpro   . Any suggestions?
    thanks
    sameer

    Hi Sameer,
    I believe you need not thoroughly know Core Java to begin for Web Dynpro Java but yes, you should have a fair idea about object, class and exceptions that i believe you would already have after working in ABAP. The UI elements can be just inserted into the component by drag and drop and codes correspondly would be auto generated. Only for customization of some functionalities, you will have to write code in Java using APIs.
    Just go through the following tutorials recommended by SAP to start over Web Dynpro Java on NWDS.
