Hi all,
Can anybody tell me how to create tabular layout for the below text in the SAP STANDARD TEXT.
1. Asbestos                                    7. Hot working, grinding, hot cutting and welding
2. Confined spaces (as defined in
the Combined Spaces Regs 1997)     8. Work on/near overhead or underground services
3. Working at heights (above 2 metres)      9. Grounds maintenance
4. Work near fragile surfaces             10. Pest control
5. Interceptor and drainage cleaning          11. Work on live electrical services
6. Loading/ unloading/ large vehicles     12. Work under lifts and lifting equipment

create a paragraph in your sap-script with the right tabular.
use ,, as tabs in your standard text
use the default paragraph (***)in your standard text
call with an include the standard text
/: INCLUDE name [OBJECT o] [ID i] [LANGUAGE l] [PARAGRAPH p] [NEW-PARAGRAPH np]
use the paragraph parameter to use the paragraph you created in the sap-script
meaning of the paragraph-parameters
 PARAGRAPH
The text to be included is formatted with its style allocation. With this parameter, the standard paragraph of this style can be redefined for the current call. All * paragraphs of the inserted text are formatted with the paragraph specified here.
 NEW-PARAGRAPH
The first line of the included text has this format flag, provided it is not a command or comment line. If the optional entry PARAGRAPH (see above) is empty, all * paragraphs of the included text are formatted with the paragraph np specified with NEW-PARAGRAPH.

Costant Window in SAP Script

Hi
i have copied a already existing sap Script(both layout SE71 and Print program Se38) in our Script but for that i am not doing any changes in Print program.
for any changes in my layout(se71) i create Perform ,and put form for that in a Subroutine pool.
but due to some requirement i have to create 2 constant window in my layout,but i am not writing any code to call that window in the print program. therefore that window are not showing in printing test.
i want to ask , there is a way to call these constant windows without not adding any code for this in prin program.

Hi Atul ,
Since you want a constant window on all your pages .Try this!
1. Create a variable window .(with same measurements of tht of your constant window)
2. Call it every time you call new page , this will reduce the overhead too .
3. Adjust your page and make space for this window .
4. You need not change the text but just adding an additional window .

Regarding Creation of Output types for SAP SCRIPTS

Hi All,
I want to create new output types for my SAP Script.
What is the procedure for creating new Z - Output Type.
Like ZA01 for Sales Order.
What is the procedure can any body help me in this regard.
It is not to use ZA01 in NACE & connect Print Program & Layout set against Form Entry.
It is for creation of ZA01 Output Type itself.
If anybody knows the procedure please post the steps.
Also please mention will there be any diffrence in creation from Module to Module (or) Transaction (Vs) Transaction. Just like Sales Order (Vs) Purchase Order (Vs) Production Order.

hi Shaik,
Steps for output type:
Go to NACE Transaction
Select V1 - Sales.
Click Output type
In edit mode , click on new entries.
Give output type as ZA01 with some descp.
Then enter , then u need to give the Access seq. as 0010
Rest proprties are more and less similar to the BA00 standard output type in V1 only.
After that u need to give the processing routines.
In that u need to give the Program name
followed by Form routine name
In this way u can create the output from NACE tran.

Finding last page in SAP Script when there are multiple layouts involved?

Hi,
I want to find out the last page in the SAP script. I have used &NEXTPAGE& = '0', this is finding the last page of a one layout however I do have three layouts in my script. I have also used the &SAPSCRIPT-JOBPAGES(3ZC)& and I have taken one counter and comapred as follows-
If &SAPSCRIPT-COUNTER_1(+)& = &SAPSCRIPT-JOBPAGES(3ZC)&
LAST PAGE.
endif.
This is also not working. Please advise if there is anyway to find out the last page from print program.

Hi,
U can do like this, Set a flag in ur driver program when u reach to print the last layout then pass this flag value to Script. In script check when this FLAG = 'X' & &NEXTPAGE& = 0 then u print the required in ur last page.
Eg:
define a FLAG in ur driver program and make the value as 'X' when it reach the last layout.
in script, write the condition like:
/: IF &FLAG& = 'X' AND &NEXTPAGE& = 0
write text.
/: ENDIF.

Creation of New Page in SAP Script

Hi Experts,
Please advice when will a new page trigger in SAP Script :
As per my requirement I need to create a new page for an existing layout and make changes to the second page alone...
but this page should be triggered only for a specific condition. Is it possible to trigger second page when it satisfies certain conditon?
I have searched SDN regarding the same but most of them have recommended to use NEW-PAGE...but as per my understanding NEW-PAGE is used when certain data needs to be printed on the next page ( not on the new page ).

Ok friend,
Try using the conditions in your driver program using 'CONTROL_FORM' function module. or using some other condition in it.
You can also give conditions in text editors and you can trigger the pages.

SAP Script Check printing Layout, Line Items to display twice in First Page

Hi All,
This requirement is for US check printing Layout.
My Requirement is to display Items twice on the first page.
Eg : Main Window has 10 Items, I need to display all the Items at the bottom in another window at the bottom.
I can't create 2 Main windows in the first page, as the data from the Main window 1 overflows to Main window 2 in the first page.
I copied print program RFFOUS_C into a Z-version and try to implement the logic, however unable to print the line items in the bottom window.

I had the same request for a check form in Canada. I solved it by writing the line item output into variables and print these variables in a second window. It was ~10 hours of effort, not a real nice technical solution but it worked.

in proxy program you have to call BAP_PO_create...etc function module.

you need ABAP skills to do this.
basically you need:
1) draw the layout on a piece of paper
2) define the fields you need and find out the corresponding SAP fields
3) check the document with the customer
4) give this specification to the developer
5) the developer will give you a program name and form name: place them in the message for the document.

Hi,
I don't think TNAPR will give me any enries as this layout set[F140_CUS_STAT_J1] in related to FI module[Japan Invoice].
Also as per second reply i dont know about output type/Application so that i can go from NACE.
Generally FI related Forms will be executed directly from report[Print Program] itself.
If anybody knows solution please post it.

Regarding SAP Script Output validation in Layout set

Hi All,
I have a issue in SAP Script Output.
I have a Standard Print Program. and layout set.
I can do validations only in Layout set.
The actual issue is i have a internal table field in print program that i am displaying in layout set. Now i want it to be subtracted with number 20, since i can not edit code in Print Program. i want to subtract that internal table field with 20 in layout set itself.
Can anybody tell me how can i solve this issue.
Note: I need to do calculation only in layout set.
Can anybody give me the solution.

so with SUMMING command i can do calculation.
I am already having i_tab1-sum coming from print program and i have declared one symbol using
DEFINE &v_val& = 20 in layout set.
Then i want to subtract &v_val& with &i_tab1-sum&.
using the follow syntax tell me wether syntax is correct or not.
SUMMING &i_tab1-sum&-&v_val& INTO &i_tab1-sum&.
will it work.

Spool - restrict multiple sap script layouts into a single spool

Hi Experts,
I am writing a Sap SCRIPT print program for multiple number of customers with different layouts. But i am getting seperate spools for different customers. There fore i need to print out all customers in a single spool.
Can some one help me how to do this?

OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM function module are used to open and close spool. When you have single form to create document then we specify form_name in OPEN_FORM function module itself. However when we have multiple forms or same form needs to be called multiple times and all document needed in same spool then we use START_FORM and END_FORM to explicitly open and close form.
Call function module in this sequence
OPEN_FORM "without specifying any form name, this will open spool
START_FORM " with form name
END_FORM
START_FORM "with (some other) form name
END_FORM
CLOSE_FORM "close spool request

New page creation in sap scripts

open your sap script.
goto pages button
right click
create element
a new page element gets created
fill in required details of this new page like page name next page
next page is the page that comes after the current page
if you have no next page - give the current page name in next page.
you can further create windows in this page and continue

This will allow you to see what is the driver program for your SAPscripr (this is the program that prepares data to be formatted by your SAPscript layour set).
Once data is derived by an ABAP program, a sapscript is called from driver ABAP to print this data.
You may need to make changes to driver ABAP (in case changes to data are required) or to SAPscript if changes to layout and window positioning are requested.
Try not to modify standard SAP programs (copy to Z versions)...
