Sap Script (Very argent)

Hi,
I am doing a script, in this script lot off windows and also having one main window, I am displying datas in main window from itab,
my requirment is in the first page data is full means normaly remaining data it will go to the second page, for me it is going to second page means i dont wand display data in first page, i want display all data in second page.
how can i do it.
can i use protect end protect.

Hi s-raj.
have I got you right: You want the printout to start on page 2 if the items do not fit all on page 1.
Question: What is if they do not all fit in page 2?
OK try like this:
in main window before item output, default text element on top of page:
IF &PAGE& = 1
PROTECT
ELSE
ENDPROTECT
ENDIF
This will control script to keep all items together.
But possibly you have more PROTECT and ENDPROTECT - those may be sent from the print program using function CONTROL_FORM. Make sure there aren't because PROTECT - ENDPROTECT can not be nested.

Clemens

  • In SAP Scripts How to write the fields 90  Degrees to regular format

    Hi ,
I am working with SAP Scripts . Sometimes you may want to print text vertically.
I have got a requiremnt in which there we have to write some data which is to be written 90 degres to regular output.
please let me know if there is any printer setting for that .
    Regards.
    Rohit.

    Dear friend,
For printing the text verticaly you need to made a
    print controle at printer level.
select a command and in that you have to go in tab general
    attribute.
and in front of :Include Printer Control: give the z print controle.
in my company basis people had made one print controle
    ZR090.
YOU have to use this command two times between
    the text .
first command will move the printer at 90 degree and then
write the text and second will move back to horizental.
I dont know how this ZR090 can be made.
rest wht i have written is very true and currently working.
hope this will solve your problem.
    rewards are expected.
    Thanks and Regards

  • In SAP Scripts MAIN procesed first?

    Hi Experts,
I hv a small doubts in SAP Scripts, they r,
1- In SAP Scripts the MAIN window is procesed very first all over the SAP Script?
2- To debug the script, after activating the debugger in Script, Shall I go & debug the Print prog step by step or just run the Transaction, e.g.
    say ME23?
    ThanQ.

    Hi Srinivas,
The order in which the windows are triggered is determined by the print program.
The print program will call the WRITE_FORM function modules which will trigger the windiw that is passed to it.
You can see the example print program:
    RSTXEXP1
The fm WRITE_FORM is called multiple times, and different windows get triggered as and when the control comes to the Function module.
And regarding your second question, in general you cannot run the print programs as stand alone(most cases) as the would not have and executable code outside the form-endform .So, to test the script, you must run the transaction after your activate the script debugging.

    Ravi

  • SAP Scripting Languages on the SDN Day - Amsterdam

I would like to give a short summary of what happened on the SDN Day in Amsterdam, the 17-th Oct. 2006.
After the breakfast Craig Cmehil gave us a welcome to the event and presented the schedule. We started with a power networking session: Four 20-minute Sessions with Six SDNers per Table. As I was sitting at the Scripting Languages table, I would like to share some impressions of the atmosphere there. We talked much about the emmerging SAP Scripting Tool and how much value it will bring to all scripting projects that plan to utilize SAP backend systems. We discussed Gregor Wolf's contest and he was so kind to inform us that his test system is also available inside the SAP corporate network, so all SAP employees now can participate too. Gregor works for Siteco Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH and the award they offer for the contest is a Siteco Vistosa task light. More information about the contest can be found at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/4588. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] Another key discussion was held with Björn Schotte, the chief editor of PHP Magazine, Germany, presenting also his company Mayflower Gmbh. He shared some visions on business applications of PHP and stated that PHP is definitely enterprise ready.
Then after a very short pause we started the SDN breakout sessions (3-5 in parallel). I visited the sessions of Gregor Wolf, André Labahn, Björn Schotte and after this I cooperated for the breakout session of Frank Mittag.
    Session 1:
Connecting Typo3 to R/3 Enterprise via Web Services with Gregor Wolf from Siteco Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH
Siteco Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH currently implements a customer service centre into it's Typo3 based website. Typo3 is an Open Source Web Content Management system based on the Scripting Language PHP. The application will allow Siteco's customers to directly check price & availability of products from the backend R/3 Enterprise system, quotations, orders and delivery status. The backend connectivity uses Web Services utilise the PEAR SOAP Package.
    Session 2:
SAP supports Scripting Languages with Andre Labahn from SAP.
This session will provide you with more insights on how SAP is supporting scripting languages.
    Session 3:
Scripting Languages PHP and Enterprise Software with Björn Schotte (Chief Editor from PHP Magazine).
This session showed us a brief history of PHP and PHP in Germany. Some enterprise applications of PHP were discussed. Björn Schotte was the opinion that PHP is definitely enterprise ready and he proved it with an example of a system that his company has created for Siemens.
    Session 4:
Scripting Languages Tool with Frank Mittag and Vasil Bachvarov (me) from SAP
SAP will provide a open source tool to the scripting development community that is supporting the access to SAP Backend Systems via RFC/BAPIs and Webservices. See the concept and demo of the tool and discuss this with SAP Development.
There was a pretty interesting discussion about the tool. Since the time for the last session shrinked with some minutes we had to be very quick, but Frank Mittag did a great job and succeeded to explain the basic concept of the SAP Scripting Tool and show it in action for the tough time constraint.
There were a lot of questions from the audience but it was already 18:30 and we stopped at this point. There would be a second chance for questions on thursday when Frank had the opportunity to make a more complete and comprehensive walk-through of the project.
Then we gathered in the meeting hall and Shai Agassi held a speech and made a summary of the event.
The evening finished in the BoomChicago theater where everybody received a delicious meal, drinks and a great amount of fun with the ChicagoBoom comic crew.
I would like to thank all people that made this event come true! See you soon in Bangalore.
    Best Regards,
    Vasil Bachvarov

  • Last page in SAP Script

    Hi All,
I have a requirement of printing terms and conditions of PO on a new page of SAP Script.
I created a new page as LAST and called it through NEW-PAGE command from MAIN window.
On my LAST page I created 1 window, which calls Standard Text.
Issue I am facing is in spite of having data of more than 1 pages , print preview is displaying only 1 page of Terms and Condtions.
Can you please let me know what am I missing?

    Hi Shradda,
you also can just add an additional processing.
    You know, something like
    /: PERFORM 'YOUR_ROUTINE' IN PROGRAM 'YOUR_PROG'
    /: ENDFORM
    See here: https://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm700_ehp02/helpdata/en/4e/34f87463de02c2e10000000a15822b/content.htm?frameset=/de/4e/3663…
But in my opinion it is the best to make a copy of the original because I'm pretty sure, there will be more additional requierements in the end and just to enhance or to use this technique is very hard to understand after the second implemented spot
Can you share your stuff how you tried it?
I mean, calling two sites in a row should definitv work fine.
    /: NEW-PAGE 'LAST1'
    /: NEW-PAGE 'LAST2'
I tried it on my own and it works perfectly fine...
Did you gave your last-page a followpage while testing the first suggestion? That is of course a must-have.

  • Dump error when clicked on text elements in SAP Script window

    Hi All,
There is an inclusion in SAP Script. I have written the code in driver program. I need to pass the value to SAP Script in the requested position. But when I go to SE71 > Form Name > Change or Display > MAIN Window > Text Elements > I get a dump error.
    Category               ABAP Programming Error
    Runtime Errors         DATA_LENGTH_TOO_LARGE
    Except.                CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS
    ABAP Program           SAPLSTXK
    Application Component  BC-SRV-SCR
    Date and Time          30.04.2014 20:00:08
    Short text
Invalid partial field access: Length is too large
    What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLSTXK" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
         administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS', was not
          caught in
procedure "TOKEN_COMMENT" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
In the executed program "SAPLSTXK", the system attempted to access the field
"ITF_TOKEN" of the type "C" and with the length 255 using the length 272.
However, a partial field access with a length specification that is
larger than the field length is not allowed.
    How to correct the error
Reduce the length used to access the field.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
        keywords:
        "DATA_LENGTH_TOO_LARGE" "CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS"
        "SAPLSTXK" or "LSTXKFRN"
        "TOKEN_COMMENT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
        1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File

  • Adding Fields to New Hire SAP Script, Text ID PAMA

    Hi there,
I have successfully created a sapscript email to be sent via Dynamic Actions for the notification of New Hires and Terminations.  This has been accomplished via feature M0001 (we have created two new features u2013 M00NH & M00TM), dynamic action (T588z), Business Workplace, distribution lists, etc.  All are working correctly, and an email is being generated and forwarded to appropriate parties.
Now we have been asked to add extra fields to the SAP Script text for New Hire and Termination.  These are text fields for Employee Group, Employee Subgroup, among others.
Our syntax has been set up as follows:
    &'Employee Group:             'P0001-PERSG(02)&
    &'Employee Group Text:        'T501T-PTEXT(20)&
    &'Employee Subgroup:          'P0001-PERSG(02)&
    &'Employee Subgroup Text:     'T503T-PTEXT(20)&
For the New Hire action, we are getting the Employee group and Employee subgroup codes to display but we are NOT getting the Employee Group or Employee Subgroup texts to display.  To confuse the issue, we ARE getting these text fields to display for the Termination script.  Our ABAP'er is also having difficulty determining how to bring in these fields to the New Hire script.
We have researched this website have tried the instructions given by one user..... which states that we needed to go to our SAPscript text and make the following changes:
" To get other HR data into your standard text (from SO10):
Insert > Symbols > Program symbols (now you'll see a list of print programs, and i guess this is where the ABAP grabs the data).
Highlight the one for HR Master data, and click the DDIC button.
Double click the table you need data from (e.g P0000, P0001 or P0002).
Finally select the field you want."
I have done this, but when I get to the Program symbols, I do not see a print program for HR Master Data.  I only see RPUCOB02 - Processing of Qualifying COBRA Events and Letters & SAPMSSCE - SAPscript Standard Text Maintenance.
I tried to use the RPUCOB02 and inserted the text for Employee Subgroup as a test.  But it did not work as the text still did not display.
The other oddity is that for the Termination sapscript text, the Employee Group and Employee Subgroup text displays correctly.  To test our syntax, we then connect the Termination sapscript text to the 'New Hire' action and reran the New Hire action.  The Employee Group and Employee Subgroup text fields then disappeared.  So it worked when the action was a termination, but did not work when the action was New Hire.
The difference between these two actions is that the feature for the sapscript generation for New Hires is being generated upon saving of I0002 (which is created AFTER I0001) - we needed the Employee's name in the text.  For the Termination action, the feature is set to generate the mail upon saving of I0001.  This is the only difference between the two.  But as I need the employee name to display, it seemed the best approach.  I did try to generate the New Hire sapscript after saving of I0008, but had the same problem.
Does anyone know how we can add text fields to our New Hire sapscript text and actually get them to display?  We would also like to display the Org Unit text (&'ORGEH_2nd_TEXT(40)&) or even  the Supervisor (from the OM relationship).  But they do not display for the New Hire sapscript either. And our ABAP'er is able to insert the Supervisor logic, but the field still does not display.
Thanks very much for any help.

  • How to print Barcode in te SAP SCRIPTS?

    Hi All,
Can anyone of you let me know how to print the Barcode in the SAP SCRIPT? This is the first time I'm working on the Barcode. I've to print many fields data into one barcode. Like PO number, Material Number, Plant, Company code..etc..
    Best Regards,
    Venkatesh Eddala.

    Hello Venkat,
    Creating Bar code:
-->From trans code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save
--> when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
-->Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
-->The place where you are using the field value use like this
    <C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.
Which barcode printer are you using ? Can you download this file and see.
    http://www.servopack.de/Files/HB/ZPLcommands.pdf.
It will give an idea about barcode commands.
    SAP Barcodes
-->Barcode solution consists of the following:
    barcode printer
    barcode reader
    mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
    in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. The most important aspect is to place a parameter in the line of the form that points to the data element that you want to represent as barcode on the form, i.e. material number. Next you need to set the font for that parameter value to one of the supported barcode symbologies.

See the below program forbarcode in sapscript for your reference:
    DATA: BAR_CODE1(16) VALUE `ABC01230123A01'
    NEW-PAGE PRINT ON IMMEDIATELY `X'.
    FORMAT COLOR OFF INTENSIFIED OFF.
If the barcode is the first element on the page, the following Write
statement is needed (otherwise you get a date in the first print
    control.
    WRITE:/
Turn on the barcode font, print the data, and switch back to the
printer's default font. Be sure to use NO-GAP to avoid unwanted
    characters or CR/LF.
    PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION `BCPFX'
    WRITE: BAR_CODE1 NO-GAP
    PRINT-CONTROL FUNCTION `BCSFX'
Add a Write statement to prevent insertion of CR/LF into the barcode.
    WRITE:/

Variable BAR_CODE1 contains the barcode data, including asterisks.
The & is needed to avoid unwanted spaces or CR/LF characters

    Hi
    Do like this.
declare 5 variables each of 80 char length.
    data: v1(80), v2(80), v3(80), v4(80), v5(80).
Read the Internal table li_tline with index and move each line to different variables and write those variables in the script.
    if not li_tline[] is initial.
    read table li_tline  index 1.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
       v1 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
    endif.
    read table li_tline  index 2.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
       v2 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
    endif.
    read table li_tline  index 3.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
       v3 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
    endif.
    read table li_tline  index 4.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
       v4 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
    endif.
    read table li_tline  index 5.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
       v5 = li_tline-tdline+0(80).
    endif.
    endif.
    write the &V1& &V2& &V3& &V4& &V5& variables ins cript
    Reward points if useful

  • Unable to print special character in SAP script

    Hi,
There is an address which needs to be hardcoded in a SAP Script form.
    It looks like:
    Česká republika s.r.o
    Karla Engliu0161e 3219/4
    Česká republika
    IČO:  25635972
The letters which has got a tilde and sign above them are appearing as a hash '#' in print. I have tried uploading it as an image and as standard text. But still not working. Can someone help please?
    Thanks in advance,
    Anita

    Hello,
Is your SAP Unicode? If no, then this can get very messy. If yes, I'd start with checking if the font used by the SAPScript supports that character.

    Hi Venu,
    Try with this code.
    <b>&NAME2(F*)</b>
You can replace leading spaces in a value with a fill character. Use the F option with the character immediately following the F in the specification as the fill character.
In your case if it is empty then it will comes with *s.
Check this link for Fill characters

  • Regarding debugging in sap script and smart forms

    hi guys,
can any one tell me what are the different steps and options available to debug a SAP SCRIPT and a SMARTFORM.
    thank you very much
          pavan

There is a transaction 'SMARTFORMSTRACE' (or was it 'SMARTFORMS_TRACE') which will give you quite helpful information.
    Try!
Sorry: Correct name is SMARTFORM_TRACE. You have lots of options for adequate analysis.
