SAP Standard Side Panels don't show any data?

Hiya,
I'm using NWBC 4 (patch 12) on SAP 7.31 (Ehp 6, SP10) and I can't get any of the SAP delivered Side panels to show any data.
This is typical of what I see, the side panel appears but all the data fields are empty:
The charts don't work either(?) and show nothing...
The only part of a side panel that I managed to get to works was in transaction VA03 and it was the chip to show 'company code' data - but that's not going to impress the business when I demonstrate this functionality to show them how great NWBC with side panels is...
Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong do you think or has anyone else encountered this kind of problem?

My 2 cents ...Either your basis team did not activate the parameter necessary for Side Panel or you have NOT perform the necessary Tagging (aka Wiring).
For the former (parameter), check the parameters setup as explain in the help file below.

If this the is later (i.e. Tagging\Wiring)... That meant that the info from your SAPGUI main screen, has NOT been setup to pass the info to your side panel chip. Some of the standard SAP delivered Side Panel CHIP does requires you to perform your own tagging; and there's a security requirements. So before you start this ... Make sure that you have confirm the parameter had been setup correctly (section above); and you have as much of a security rights as possible.

Sharepoint web analytics does not show any data

Hello,
We installed Sharepoint Web Analytics some days ago (separated application pool).
Installation completed successfully.
Search works fine and returns expected results.
But reports still don't show any data :
Data Last Updated: 15.08.2014 02:00:16 There is no data available for this report. Here are some possible reasons: (1) Web Analytics has not been enabled long enough to generate data; (2)
There is insufficient data to generate this report; (3) Data logging required for this report might not be enabled; (4) Data aggregation might not be enabled at the level required for this report.
What I tried :
connect to website using different users (admin user included)
checked that needed services on server are started (especially analytics services)
restart services Web Analytics Data Processing Service and
Web Analytics Web Service
checked that all services applications are started (WSS_UsageApplication status was
stopped so I started it using Sharepoint 2010 Management Shell)
checked service application associations (especially if Analytics Service Application Proxy is checked)
manual execution of jobs (Web Analytics Trigger Workflows Timer Job, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Processing)
manual start of incremental crawling
restart IIS
checked scope of data logging (especially if Enable usage data collection and
Enable health data collection are checked)
checked that the .usage file are generated correctly on the disk
checked in the Logging database (WSS_UsageApplication) that the
RequestUsage view contains data collected from the .usage files
checked that data is successfully extracted from the logging database into the staging database (LastLoggingExtractionTime)
checked that data was successfully copied from the staging database to the reporting database (LastDataCopyTime)
checked on the website side that Advanced Web Analytics feature is
Active
recreate web analytics application
checked for any message in ULS logs that could help... I only noticed that error :
The SharePoint Health Analyzer detected an error. Drives are running out of free space. Available drive space is less than twice the value of physical memory. Can it cause the problem ?
All appears to work fine but I can't see any data in the reports.
The thing is that Inventory data is collected successfully and I can see the related reports. Traffic and Search data are still empty.
Anything else I can try ?

Yes I have granted application pool identity full control on the Web Analytics Service Application.
I also checked that Sharepoint 2010 timer service is started.
I can't see anything in the logs that could help, when accessing the reports. The only thing I noticed is this kind of log which occurs
regularly and seems to be an exception :
Enumerating all sites in SPWebApplication Name=SharePoint - 80.
Site Enumeration Stack:

Maybe it can be the cause ?

LISTCUBE not showing any data with SAPKW70110

Hi all
we just upgraded our system from SAPKW70107 to SAPKW70110 and now do have the following problem:
All InfoCubes containing non-cumulatives don't show any data anymore in transaction LISTCUBE.
All the cubes did work fine before.
What is curious is that some queries based on these cubes are working and at least showing some data (but not the correct data).
We couldn't find anything in the notes so far..
Anything we could do?

You can use improvised listcube to display data. It can be created by taking help from the following link ;-

SAP delivered Side Panel example

Hiya,
I've read up about side panels and I'd just like to demonstrate the functionality to our business - hopefully to convince them that NWBC is the way forward for their power users.
I was hoping to use a SAP delivered side panel - would anyone know how/where SAP has a standard example side panel that I could use for demonstration purposes?

Hi,
Webdynpro side panels provide a means to build side panels into webdynpro applications.
NWBC side panels on the other hand are different and allow to include any web page Google Maps etc as side panels to your application.
Both are two different things, make sure to watch out for these.

Try zapping the PRAM. See KB Article http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11243 OS X Mountain Lion: Reset your computer’s PRAM
If you are still under warranty and/or have AppleCare, call them. Let them deal w/it.

Slicers don't show any values (Excel 2010)

Hi all,
my slicers on a pivot table (originating from a SSAS Cube) don't show any values at all. Nothing. I've tested it with all available dimensions of the SSAS cube.
If i disconnect the cube and use "hard" values it works without any problem. With hard values from other sheets and integrated pivots it works totally fine. Just the live-connection to the cube is causing these problems. It also doesn't work with
the standalone slicers.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve the issue?

Thank you for your feedback, but I've solved the issue by now.
Apparently, the empty slicers resulted from a setting in the defaultmember propery in the SSAS cube itself. When i tried to update the slicer i've received this error message (but only one time!, the second refresh didnt produce the error message):
"Unable to retrieve information from DIMNAME slicer(s). in some cases, this can be due to a custom value in the DefaultMember property for an attribute of the dimension."
So, afterwards i've set the defaultmember parameter in the respective dimension in the cube to nothing (inserted no value) and reprocessed the cube. Et voilà - it works totally fine.

Search Item drop-down does not show any data for Advanced Search.

I have a requirement to add a new criteria to the existing Advanced Search region of 'My Employee Information' in Manager Self Service responsibility. I substituted the AdvancedSearchVO to include the new column. Using personalization i did the below steps to show the new column in the page,
1) Created a 'Message Styled Text' item under Table Layout region to display the result. I associated the View Instance (AdvancedSearchVO1) and View Attribute (AttrColumn).
2) In Advanced Search Panel created a new CriteriaRow and set the 'Search Allowed' property to True.
3) In Advanced Search Mappings i tried to create the new mapping but the Search Item drop-down does not show any of the CriteriaRow item. But Results Item shows the 'Message Styled Text' item created in step 1 above.
Any idea what i would be missing becasue of which 'Search Item' property does not show any data?
I am using OAF version 12.1.1.

But when i tried to create a new custom page with advanced table and created a new LOV column via personalization. i was able to create new search mapping.. but this is not happening in the seeded page case :(.
I m also looking for solution...if any one can provide some inputs on it , will be highly appreciated.

Team calendar My trainings not showing any DATA on Production Server

We are facing very critical issue on Production Server.
We have two Id's for which Team calendar, My trainings is not showing any DATA .
We observed that this is happening to both the users who had MSS role previously..
now for your information we have check the following things already .
1. RFC PT_ARQ_TEAMCALE_GET is showing DATA correctly .
2. The authorization. Is correct..
3. We got help from SAP..But not solved problem.
Here we copied same data in the Quality system and the Team calendar, My trainings working fine ..
I donu2019t know why Team calendar, My trainings is not showing any data in the Production system

the #group of organizational views# MSS_LTV_EE is maintained
for the Team Calendar and MSS_LEA_EE for the request mode.
Check the IMG step
Integration with Other mySAP.com Components ->

-> Organizational Structure Views -> Group Organizational Structure vieMSS_LTV_EE (Team: Employee selection): the two organizational
views MSS_LTV_EE_ALL and MSS_LTV_EE_DIR are assigned.
MSS_LEA_EE (Leave Request: Employee Selection) the two
organizational views MSS_LEA_EE_ALL and MSS_LEA_EE_DIR are assigned

They have the following Object selections:
MSS_LTV_EE_ALL: MSS_LTV_EE_ALL (All Employees)

To change the evaluation path kindly go to the view V_TWPC_V , look for

After installation 4.7 ides is sucessfull I have gone to se11 to verify some tables like MARA , VBAK ... but I not found data in all tables(many tables ). Don t have any data in the tables!!!!!!!
The directory oracle is full aproximately 50 gb full ... well there is many data .
How I resolve this problem ?
How can I generate data for this ?
Is it some program in se38 ?
My Login is DDIC and Client 000

Popularity Trends not showing any data

Hi,
we are using SP 2013 RTM version and it is not showing any data in the usage statistics when we run the popularity trends reports. Is this a bug with SP 2013 RTM version? or am i missing something?

Per my understanding, Popularity Trends report showing no data in your environment.
For narrowing down the issue, I suggest you check whether the two timer jobs “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data Import” and “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Usage Data
Processing” which are handling the usage report runs without issue.

List 3rd party Wi-Fi apps that don't need ANY data plan

so far, the only one I know of is Live Search
you can download it here
(note: in Options, network configuration parameters must be changed to "Direct HTTP" instead of "default" and check "Use only WiFi interface")
I can't use BlackBerry's "Maps", because I don't have a data plan; however, the "Traffic" & "Maps" of Live Search is a great alternative!
if you know of other 3rd party Wi-Fi apps that don't require ANY data plan (APN, BES, MDS, IPPP for BIBS, WAP, etc.), post them here.

Server Side Includes Don't Show Up?

I support a web site and I've been maintaining it with DW (previous to CS3 and now I'm using CS3) and except for the home page, whenever I test a page locally on my PC, the content of the includes don't show up in the browser. Once I upload them to the web site, they work fine. I should point out that the home page is the only page in the root directory. All the other pages are in a next level folder. At the time I designed the web site, I thought this would help me organize things, but I regret doing it. This has happened with the previous version and with CS3.
Anyway, it's what I'm stuck with. I've set up my local site without server access. Given my situation, is there anyway to get the includes to work on my PC when I test the pages within DW?

To summarize: I press F12 to start a browsing session and that page is displayed properly with server side includes. While in that browsing session, I click on a link to another page, and that second page in the browsing session does not disply the server side includes. When these pages are uploaded to the server, they work properly
If you open one of the inner pages, and hit F12 can you see the includes on that page,, or on any of the other inner pages when you browse to them individually? I bet you can :-)
It's only when you try and go from the temp file to a properly name file that it doesn't work. There was a technote explaining this much better than Ican, but I just can't find it now.
If you want to see the pages work as if they were on the server, that is going from page to page by clicking on individual links, you really need to set up a testing server on your machine.

SAP Standard ESS country structure not showing on the iViews

Some of the Fields in the SAP Standard Employee Self Service Country structure not showing on the iViews, if we want to bring those fields to iView level, What would be the solution.

Hi Pradeep
If these are mandatory fields or legall required in that country and delivered in V_T588M or V_T588MFPROPS then you need to check with SAP why they are not shown in the ESS scenario
If these are optional or R3 specific fields it could be they are not delivered in V_T588MFPROPS - try inserting
an overide in V_T588MFPROPC
If still you cannot get these fields you may need to add a field to the ESS application using NWDI
and you may also need to change the model so it recognises the new field - this is effectively changing
the SAP delivery
